I haven’t even tried to get women yet. Just feeling down on myself

Yeah, I hit the apps back in 2020 at age 30 and the results were lackluster. I was “fit”, but not as much as I am now. Really shot my self esteem down. Hopefully my results are different now.

Yeah, no dick problems here fortunately. Sadly, i always thought to myself what is a guy like me with a big d doing with her? She would run out of steam in the bed quickly because she wasn’t fit enough. Im strong so i could move her quite a bit, but wish she was lighter. Just felt like another thing in my life that i was wasting being with her.

Yeah, I know. I’m switching him out tomorrow. Pisses me off that I get more help from strangers and coworkers and he is taking advantage of me.

Perfect timing, thanks man. Was having some really bad doubts when you posted this. I keep thinking that I made a huge mistake and I should be grateful for what I had and that I need to go back. I’m struggling. Just requested a new therapist as my current one is a POS that doesn’t care

I actually have an extroverted, warm personality, even though it doesn’t show in this post(hard times) . I do not think that is my problem.

I don’t want a model and don’t really subscribe to the number scale system. Just want to find a woman i’m attracted to. She probably will not be a model because I’m not into them anyways

It maybe an issue, but I’m not giving up til I find the one. I think what will help is being open to dating hispanics and asian. I find them attractive anyways

I know i have issues. I work everyday to be the best version of myself that i can be. Striving for the best keeps me sane

I don’t have value because dating has always been hard for me. Its why I wound up with my wife and ex before her. I honestly don’t know if my struggles are due to height, looks, etc I have a therapist but he doesn’t say anything. He just says “you are doing the things you need to do”, or “take time to figure things out”. Ad nauseum. It seems like he doesn’t care, he doesn’t talk and only listens.

She started breaking glass when i told her i was leaving. The living room had about an inch of glass in it

I could try to, but i’m miserable being with her. And i do not think she will take me back

Dude, I wasn’t even aware i was short till i started dating when I was 22. I’ve never encountered anyone but women caring about my height

We were having issues before she died. The death just made things worse. We’re seperated now, but if i go back I’ll be miserable and she is done with me

Yeah, i’m hardcore into motorcycles and running, going to try to get into those groups
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/24 03:33 AM

I’m white and i’m open to dating shorter races. I actually find latinas and asians more attractive anyways

Thats what people say, but i’ve been successful for a while and last time i dated(online) a few years ago it was a shitshow. My wife came along and i settled for her tbh.

Virtual hug for you. Thanks man. I honestly wouldn’t feel so bad if i had a male friend now. I try to make friends with others but it seems people prefer to keep to themselves. I’m a very likable guy too. I don’t know what i am doing wrong anymore.
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/24 02:13 AM

Thanks man. My entire life has been a shitshow, extreme poverty in childhood, dating failure, then lost my daughter. Now my wife. I’m a guy that tries to trudge along and do the best i can. But i feel like i’m just working hard for nothing at this point. Only way i’m keeping sane now is running, motorcycles, and a daily cigar. Forcing myself to talk to others too.

Society needs more men focused groups. No one gives a shit about us. Government, employers, churches, schools.

Yeah, she compared me to her ex too. Do they all have the same scriptbook?

Is trying to be attractive, healthy, and feminine, and stable for your husband too much? Guess its a fuckin hard one for her to figure out
/r/Divorce_Men31/12/23 06:07 PM

I agree, put her on block. I chose her because she was easy and wanted me. My criteria was have a pulse, don’t be morbidly obese(reg obese) was okay, regular sex, and loyalty. Pathetic, I know. But when you believe you are worthless to desirable women you settle to avoid being alone
/r/Divorce_Men31/12/23 10:20 AM

I already know my mistakes: Accepting women that are above normal BMI Accepting women with mental issues, such as PTSD Ignoring other red flags to be with someone and not be alone

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Dude, the snoring was so fucking bad. I had to buy 33db earplugs. Some nights those didn’t even work. The 28-30db ones never worked. I also tried some expensive bose sleep earbuds, but those are actually for anxiety, not noise reduction. Now i’m by myself and still sleep with those earplugs since they really help with a tranquil sleep.

Thanks, its okay to laugh about it, I should too but its scary man. She was my only family, i’m alone now. Just trying to cope by running, lifting, etc. Ran 4 miles today in the 40 degree weather with 4 hours of sleep, felt good. Was buying a leather jacket at the mall today and was thinking what my next wife will be like. Felt hopeful for a second but then felt damn hopeless because i cannot ever see a desirable girl liking me… Never dating anyone not fit ever again though. And that is just one…

Yeah, the custody threat was over a major financial transaction I actually made a huge profit off of, and she got pissed that I didn’t make it happen immediately because she has no faith. Then she said I will get you removed from the home, and if im pregnant you can see your child every other weekend while my new boyfriend can be the father to her
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 08:31 PM

Yeah, just blocked her number
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 08:27 PM

I mean, that is the only way I can describe it. Not even trying to be funny. You know how women have curves and asses? Her body is rectangular, no ass, minor fat apron, with XL clothes of patterns you would find on wallpaper in a country cooking restaurant. Also fat folds from neck with big moles. Her chin cones out of the fold just like peter griffin. Not tryng to be harsh, i got myself into that unfortunately. Im out now but going through a crisis

I ride a motorcycle, if I take a corner too tight and fly off a cliff I’m dieing almost immediately and it will be alone. Don’t worry about that shit

My condolences, wish I was kidding/ trolling but not
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 08:02 PM

Yeah, she told me its 2022 and people are fat, get over it. That was a year ago. Now she all of a sudden cares?
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 02:33 PM
3

She already sent me pics and said, “look at your fat wife running”. Or I would offer a piece of bread and she would say, “can’t eat that, i’ll gain weight and you’ll divorce me”
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 01:20 PM
2

Yeah, I know. She offered to remove the dogs to save the marriage. But I was wondering why she didn’t do that in the first place? Why was she okay with a bathroom full of shit and shit everywhere outside? When we were dating she had dogs in cages in the kitchen and they were shitting inside of them. We also argued about stuffed animals in the bed

We’re done. Exit strategy is finding a new apartment and divorce lawyer.

Thanks. I have no idea how I wound up on this reddit, i’m not even a typical reddit user. Some of the most supportive people I have seen. I was speaking to a therapist about this and what I should do, and he made side remarks but would not give direct advice. I guess for liability. After I told him I left he said it was the right decision.
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 02:56 AM

Yeah, not anymore. Im on my own now
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 02:51 AM

Thanks, I’m originally a southerner as well. Yeah, at this point i will just jack off until I meet a woman that meets my standards. I will not do ons or fwb either. “Not bigger women” haha. I used to be a bit more open to that kinda stuff myself(more liberal you could say?) but not anymore. Fat=mental illness is my takeaway at this point
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 02:49 AM

Yeah, i just made it official, we are done. It’s just a story arc in my life at this point.

I was staying with her because I’m alone, have no friends and no family and no self esteem. She makes me miserable, which in turn has made me more motivated to better myself, haha

God damn it, just google foodie beauty and cannot unsee that shit. Sorry you had to go through that

I don’t live there anymore. She owns it and frankly I don’t want it.

I’m seeing a therapist now, might switch to a new one through. It wasn’t really until the last year that I’ve been looking good and in great shape. I have people asking me for fitness tips unsolicited now. I run about 4 miles a day and do daily strength training. And I have definitely notice women smiling at me a lot.
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/23 01:42 AM

Yeah, well I’m not returning to her house yet, so don’t see how that is going to happen, I left her house. Not going to have sex either, doubt I could even get it up with her any more tbh

Thanks bro

Thanks man. Do you find you are able to pull attractive women? Hopefully I have the luck you have, I have abs now, never had those in my life. Jeans look good on me now too

She’s not a feminist, but definitely a karen

I just left. Thanks man

I just left. She told me she would get rid of the dogs, the same dog that she got rid of her first boyfriend for; the dog didn’t like him. And there was a bag of soiled dog piss pads on the floor, curiosity bit the cat and I actually took a sniff. Lost my breath for a sec

Holy fuck, poodles too and the same number. She throws shit around too. How has dating been for you so far? Is there anything you can do to improve yourself? I’m still working on being ripped and am getting closer everyday. I already have my career down.
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/23 05:07 PM

She already got on my ass about gaining 20 lbs during a bulk when I was weightlifting. Then i lost it all and have abs
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/23 04:58 PM

Because of my height, it just seems like an insurmountable dealbreaker. But tbh I have very little real dating experience, so I have no idea it that is true or not. I do see women staring at me, and they smile at me since getting cut, but I don’t know if its in my head or not
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/23 03:06 PM

Yeah, she lets the dog poop in a room and doesn’t clean it up, and the ither dog pees in the kitchen, sometimes bedroom floor, etc… i step in pee daily, although she cleans up the pee in the kitchen. Backyard is covered in poop and she wants me to clean it up, fml

Yeah, I’m pretty outgoing with people as well. So we’ll see how it goes

Thanks man. I don’t know if I’ll be that lucky; I have no family or friends unfortunately. My plan is to run 5ks, marathons, a triathlon, and join crossfit. Hopefully I can build a friend network that way.

Thanks man. Really appreciate that. I will pay it forward when I get through this intact on the other side

I am seeing a therapist. He says my fears are overblown and once I leave things will get better. I just think I have to settle because of my height. Or be alone. And by settling I mean dating women with multiple red flags, severe obesity, etc Dating was always brutal and I mostly took whoever I could find that was the best. Granted all of my dating was online. Ive always assumed it was my height but it could be other factors at play. I am a much more improved version of myself now, and have been…
/r/Divorce_Men27/12/23 11:48 PM

Easier said than done. He’s probably worried that he will be alone like I am…
/r/Divorce_Men27/12/23 11:31 PM

I’m on the fence about starting a family tbh. I would like to vet her for a few years before we would even try. Why do you think the outlook is not rosey for starting a family?
/r/Divorce_Men27/12/23 07:29 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
