I don't have regrets, even said it in my post. I appreciate this other take though. Thank you. It's opposite emotionally charged comments like these that urge me to think otherwise.

Yeaahhh I mean, I don't doubt it. I will not have children to fix me though. When I have children, I'm devoted to them. Otherwise it's not fair to my partner or the children.

Thank you @stick_it_in_your_bum 🤣 In all seriousness, I believe you. I'm just not there yet I guess

😅😂 glad I pointed him away from that to some degree hopefully Most young women don't even think of relationships like Disney. They are definitely more carefree though than older women and think more romantically for sure

For relationships? You kinda do lol. But anyways, appreciate the input.

What? Movies have nothing to do with it. Why the fuck would you assume movies and media Invest heavily means cutting off seeing other girls. Staying monogamous. And doing things that are relational like meeting her friends and family, having life building discussions, etc. these all feel empty to me. There's no excitement
/r/seduction07/12/25 07:14 PM

Yep exactly. This is it haha. Every relationship emotionally stable guys I've met had proper development around dating and received attention when they were going through puberty it seems. This is an anecdotal observation from what I've seen in my friends. The rest of us have to figure other shit out

Oh yeah you're fine dude. It's not your fault. It's a wide world with a lot of different people. Unfortunately, those moments happen. Not your fault

Dude yeah that's inevitable. It's like maybe 5% interactions or less though. Probably less tbh. If it's happening consistently, you're probably the problem and not approaching properly, or at a weird timing or something (this isn't to make you feel bad, just trouble shooting). I've had 2 girls scream out of no where. But it's just them having a horrible day with bad emotional management. It's all good

Yup that answered my question for sure. I think the element I'm missing is the social circle and expansion. I have a core group of friends but they are all married or long term relationships. Which partner dance exactly? If I were to try it, maybe salsa? It seems to be the most fun haha. I've been doing mostly cold approaches and I've gotten a few numbers but admittedly none led to a date yet! That being said, many of the interactions were amazing. Some girls are super receptive and I'm glad I w…

"BuT yOu'Re ObViOUsly gOOd loOkiNG". Lol joking! Happy for you dude. I have been doing therapy and the most useful "tool" is self awareness. Recognizing thought patterns and behaviour of yourself is the first step to change. I truly believe that a lot of guys that struggle on here have a bit of a victim mentality. "I'm not tall/white/handsome/x/y/z enough". And I'm not saying that as an accusation, that's a legit mental health issue that I had to tackle myself. Then, creating a plan is the best …

That's what I'm trying to work on actually. "Flirting". It often turns in to basic convos. But they usually tend to be more than just "small talk" so that's a good thing. Now I just gotta put that flirt element in more successfully

No no. I just started doing cold approaches like 3 weeks ago. I made this account 6 years ago but wasn't active with Pua stuff.

I just did my 18th approach. It was a rejection because she was married. But I don't try to make conversation a transaction, I aim for genuine connection no matter what. So even if they say they have a boyfriend, I generally keep chatting with decency before breaking it off. I do that so women don't get a bad vibe from cold approaches and still get a pleasant experience. And, maybe sometimes they lie about having a bf just because they aren't interested in me. In that case, I hope my decency and…

Thank you for the positivity, man. It's really easy to let the negative thoughts overcome your mind. I give myself a really hard time for my looks but I have to keep reminding myself that there is still a path forward for me. Yes, looks matter. I know I'll never be Hollywood but I can maximize my looks via fitness, grooming and style. It's a "life is unfair" thing and I have to accept that and move forward. I'm not gonna sit here and demand "8s", "9s" and "10s" women and then turn around and com…

Humor is hugely important. With anyone but especially in seduction. But I want to be clear, having a sense of humor is not necessarily being funny. For example, you can watch a cartoon and laugh your ass off at it being funny, but you yourself would never have come up with those jokes. That's having a sense humor. Being funny helps a lot. But, fact of the matter is, not everyone is funny. Whatever makes you laugh is your sense of humor, just express it. How do you express it? Well, if you tell a…

Very interesting. I realize I've actually been doing that in a way. I usually say "I'd like to take you out on a date to coffee" or something before asking for the number. So guess I am giving a reason rather than just emptily asking for a number
/r/seduction20/09/22 03:42 PM

I'm gonna play around with that. It's a much more telling them vs. asking. I'll give that a shot!

Hey. I think you and I are around the same phase/level of game. I too have been cold approaching and I've had various levels of success. I've definitely felt that "ran out of things to say" moment. When that moment arrives, I just say something random about something in my life. For example, this one girl at the park, I went through all the basics: "how's your day?", "What do you do for work", "you live around here", blah blah blah. There was a moment of silence that you know you feel the convo …

For the phone number question, I would suggest getting their number. Phrase it this way: "hey, I'd like take you out to coffee/drink sometime, wanna exchange numbers" and go for pulling out your phone as you do so, implying you'll put her number in your phone. There's nothing wrong with asking for her number and it's not any more or less gracious than giving her yours. If she gives you her number, she still has every opportunity to reject and in most cases, simply not respond. Happens. As for ap…

I think that's the best though. "Talking about nothing for hours" like her and I. That's when a connection is there if we can enjoy a conversation like that. I can't say I'm suuuuper experienced, but I've done about 13 cold approaches so far and the best ones were ones where talked about nothing really. For example, this one girl was doing her residency for med school. So obviously, very intelligent in the traditional sense of the word. But all we talked about was long drives, skipping school an…

Haha funny you mention this. I did a cold approach with a girl at the park a few days ago and it was one of the better interactions. She was sunbathing in the park and listening to a podcast, I asked what was the podcast and she said it was about star signs. You know - Leo, Libra, Gemini, etc. She was so into it and it was interesting but I don't buy into it myself. But hey, it was fun to be open minded and just enjoy the conversation. We went to some website to put in my date of birth and liter…

Ok. Guy here. This is a ridiculous post. And sure, I'll be a "white knight" today. First of all what does this "respect" you speak of look like to you? Is it your expectation that the girl drop everything she's doing to give you attention? Is it your expectation that they speak to you in some very specific tone? Is it to get out of your way? Is it to prioritize your feelings above all else? Respect isn't equivalent to attention and interest. Respect is basic politeness, and kindness appropriate …

Hey dude. I know everyone's life is different so I don't doubt you had some bad experiences with women irl in regards to your height. So you were looking for examples of short men that are successful in getting laid, so here are some: Bruno Mars - 165 cm, 5'4.9" Zach Efron - 173 cm, 5'8" (I don't this is short, but I thought he was like 6'2") Daniel Radcliffe - 165 cm, 5'5" Elijah Woods -5'5" Kendrick Lamar - 5'5" Mark Wahlberg - 5'7" In the case of Zac Efron, the brother is just fucking gorgeou…

Thanks for the advice. My take aways: Open ended questions More energetic delivery of what I'm saying Also, I didn't ask for her FB. I don't give a shit about FB haha. I asked for her number and she said I'll just give you my FB. It's just her deferring. She wasn't interested. But I was like "sure" because it's be awkward as fuck to just be like "nah, no thanks" on the FB suggestion lmao. Thanks for the feedback. I haven't really dealt with that situation before so I didn't know what I was doing or if what I did was "correct". Not that I'm suggesting that these things are white or black. One thing I'm really happy about is that she's not in the regular friends circle. I'll probably still see her around, but that's whatever. Won't really bug me. I even feel more prepared for future encounters haha.

I don't put much faith in online dating apps. Most of my connections are made in real life. Real life lets me leverage my actual strengths and positive qualities as a person. Real life example of a flake Where you were when you saw her How you opened her and what the response was I first met her at a party that I was having at my place. It was my friend's birthday, and his girlfriend's friend (lets call her Amy) was over as well. I was chatting up Amy and we got along fairly well. I didn't try t…

It's harder for (some, maybe most) men to get dates. It's why flakiness sucks ass because each individual opportunity weighs more for us. I know this really makes me sound pathetic or not confident, but it's true.
/r/seduction19/09/18 06:37 PM

Lol scheduling 2+ dates at same time and place. That's funny. Coincidentally, I've actually thought about doing that exact same thing. More as a social experiment though. But, really, I think that guy is being an idiot. Yes I know girls flake a lot, but that doesn't mean he should sacrifice his own integrity just because flakes have none.
/r/seduction19/09/18 06:34 PM
1

Thank you for the validation and feedback of my approach. I am modifying my response to flakiness based on what others have said. I'm give them the benefit of the doubt the first time depending on how they flake. For example, if they flake at the time of the date and make no attempt to reschedule, no second chance. But if there is a notice within reason, I think it's fair I wonder if there is a correlation between individuals that flake and their own experiences in dating. I hope these girls (an…

This is a very honest question. It's a good question. Very self aware, despite your age. Good work. I don't have anything to add sadly, I'm not the one to ask for this. Just wanted to compliment haha

I'd argue that oneitis is when I attempted whatever it is I attempt (say bring her cookies...) And she rejects me, but I'm hung up about it too long. The reason I posted here was because she is my neighbor so the tact might be a bit different than your typical approach at the club

I've been here for 6 months now and that was the first time I saw her. That being said... I have no idea when she moved in either. Anyways, I'm just trying to think of not so awkward ways to just knock and say hello lol. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
/r/seduction11/02/18 08:32 PM

Didn't think of that, sounds nice. Maybe cheesy haha, but hey... Thanks for the idea. I cook a lot myself so I was thinking maybe I could bake her something as a bday gift to and use that as an excuse to say hi

Okay, I think I know what you mean. These girls were random, and I'm going to operate as if all my approachs are to random girls. So to acknowledge them, give them a "functional compliment". So rather than say something blunt and cliche like "you're really cute", comment on their style or along those lines. I'm guessing the later feeds ego and also gives room for conversation. As for just saying hi and responding to them, that assumes they actually give a shit about talking to me. Working on tha…

/r/seduction25/10/17 07:39 PM

Yeah I guess there really is no other option. So many things to (not) react to lol. I really need to develop that thick skin. I've gotten better at it, just by trying to not even acknowledge how I feel about getting rejected. Its not so bad until I have to self reflect to improve

Yes. Definitely don't like sharing inner thoughts and feeling. I don't think it's wise until an intimate or strong relationship is built. "Yeah, you're probably right. It's tough letting my guard down sometimes" Thanks. That was a bit of what I was looking for. Expression without getting defensive and coming off more insecure. Plus it's accurate. This combined with what everyone else has said will help I think.

I did my time in college. The one take away I'd like to share with you: Action Items Focus on the party itself. Play beer pong/flip cup or whatever games they have going. Like a girl? Be like "hey, be my insert drinking game partner". Be inclusive. Easy way to chat her up. Mental Game Don't get too caught up on specifically picking a girl up. Be there to have fun and meet new people in general. Step 1: go to party introduce yourself and establish yourself as a sociable fun person Step 2: then ch…

A guy that is 29 years old hooking up with college girls isn't a big deal. His methodology is really disconcerting though. He's blatantly lying to do it. It's not very genuine. Now, is every guy or girl 100% genuine? Definitely not. But it's the fact that he repeatedly does it which is odd. He could hook up with college girls just saying his real age. Girls like older guys. A bunch of girls I know date guys close to 10 years older (25 and 35, haven't seen in the 40s). As far as going to the club…

3-1 female to male ratio parties, hmm.... I bet I can do 2-1 female-to-male ratios by the end of 2017. I'll work on it. choose your friends that you bring to parties with hot girls wisely and you demonstrate to the girl(s) that you know how to provide value and not take it Aiming for that, big time. I liked the article. It's not about picking-up girls, specifically. It's about living a certain lifestyle that allows you to surround yourself with people that have high social value. There are a couple things it assumes about the reader: Has basic social skills. Has the intent to increase his/her status in certain direction. In this case it's in social status (but the same principles can be applied for something such as business) I agree with parts of it. To certain events, I only invite select…

"Safe" implies that I can be a "threat". That kinda irks me. I'm just trying to meet girls like everyone else and if she says no then what ever haha. So silly that I am now un-safe. Hey man, good work on cold approach, I haven't even really done that yet, mostly meeting girls through friends or at parties. I'm not very good at game, but I do know how to bounce back after getting crushed like that. One of MANY ways: Realize you aren't the only one in the position. A bit of a tip for people when talking to literally anyone: it's not what you say, it's how you say it. So yes, Betterben could certainly have literally quoted the cheesy ass shit in this sub to Rachel. But, what she was really in to was in which context he said those words and how he presented them. I think it would be useful if people responded to FRs with suggestions on how to improve the FR post itself. The improvement should be based on the FR requirements found in the side bar. Judging by your story, you had a shit ton to drink. Yet, despite that, you still helped out your friend so major respect to you there. I like how you pointed out isolation in this FR. Good example of how isolation works and is needed. As far as your cab ride goes, I pretty much agree with what everyone else said here, including yourself. True. In my defense, I only knew that FR I had a boyfriend right off the bat. FR II was single. I hadn't found out FR III was dating until wayy later. As mentioned, her boyfriend wasn't with her and was just with his buddies elsewhere at the bar

Thanks, I will definitely keep writing about my journey in seduction. Update on FR III: turns out this girl was really in to me. According to her friends who told my friend. Despite having a boyfriend she was vibing with me a lot. Woo.

How can you tell what needs to change up your strategy? Girls and individually different so something that works on one girl may not another. But if something is repeatedly failing, its probably because its a bad strategy.

So true. I was asked to party with a girl from work a few weeks ago. I show up to the bar and I was surprised that I was the only one from work she invited. I didn't do an FR ( should have though). Long story short, I failed. Next day though, i felt guilty that i was touching her and trying to game her. I really need to get over that guilt and come to the understanding that its cool to show attraction and want to get laid.

That's fucking awesome. So I would imagine that some people kinda get pissed off at your attitude (jealousy maybe, or just not clicking with personalities, etc.) How do you deal with that? I wouldn't really care personally if a single person was pissed at my "i dont give a fuck" attitude. But i wouldn't like it if they just started talking shit about me to their friends and the girls id be trying to game.

I'm guessing both. Im assuming that its best to stimulate all senses properly to generate attraction. Pleasently smelling (not over powering), eye contact, touching, talking and listening and speaking slowly. I wonder if one is more important than the other to show intent though. Is intent clearer through body language than verbal?

Appreciate the post. It'll take practice no doubt, but some re-affirmation doesn't hurt! Do you know good ways to build that confidence? Or should I just practice it and it generates over time (fake it till you make it kinda deal). I work on myself outside game as well. Gym, reading and just being knowledgable. I'm hoping that all of it will come together to build that confidence in game.

Saw a bit of the first video you linked and it was really interesting. Going watch the whole thing for sure.

Cool! Yeah Im pretty comfortable asking for a girl's number. I don't knkw why I didn't. I feel like I had a lot of openings. But I'm going to give myself the benefit of the doubt and say its because lack of experience.

I guess i didn't make my intentions clear enough. I didnt ask her for her number. I probably need to get better at that. But damn, how do I make it clear withour being a creep?

Oh man. I think you struck another point that I failed to recognize in my own self-reflection: Am I actually expressing my interest in her through what I say as well? The conversation we had was excellent, but it may have been too platonic (obviously because of the lack of Kino, but even aside that). I didn't do anything such as compliment (not big on compliments now) her, or even say thing along the lines of "I like that". Fuck. Now thinking back, when I was guessing her wardrobe and she was te…

Good way to look at it. I know looking at this in a "I want to sleep with as many girls as possible" mentality is very debilitating for actual improvement and success, but I'd be lying if I said numbers didn't matter at all. They do a little just because I haven't had much full success yet, though I'm assuming I'll come to truly realize that when I figure this whole "game" out

I appreciate this post. The hard part is the cumulative rejections. Not that I've stuck my neck out there too much, but enough to get way more nos then yes

True. I had that thought in the back of my mind. Sadly, I'm not surprised that some guys do that. But I'm glad that the city you are in is moving more towards gender equality. I was just going off my own experiences as well, so biased to! I hope those guys don't ruin it for the rest of us!

I think autonomy exists for the girl regardless. She can chose to give it and reply (or not) to a text the guy sends. Or she can choose not to give it, and say no on the initial number request. I've been rejected for number(s) so I'm certain girls are capable of saying no, which is a good thing. I see where you are going with the gender equality thing. It shouldn't be a "tradition" for the girl to give her number. Should be allowed either way. But honestly, I'd rather just get rejected outright …

Interesting. I had a small discussion started from a post I made a few weeks ago on this sub regarding giving (man) your number to the girl. I've always read that it's better to get the number rather than to give it. But I suppose it doesn't hurt to give your number to the girl if she doesn't want to give out her own.

The whole concept of getting away from oneitis is my biggest take away so far from seddit. When I get rejected, it's still a bummer but I am starting to realize that one rejection is tiny drop in the lake of opportunities. But then again, I have only tried seduction a few times after discovering seddit. We'll see how I hold up after multiple rejections haha Edit: rewrote a sentence

Thanks for your comments. Very thorough. Especially regarding the friend giving me "intel". I think it's better to view it that way. And cool, I will probably avoid straight up asking if the girl is single, I suppose it doesn't matter if I know if she is or not!

Okay next time I shall use your test to see if she actually wants to text me by getting her to send a message. If the same situation occurs again, which I'm certain it will because I got a long road ahead of me here.

Yeah maybe I should have. I probably took the "get her number over you give her yours" tip too hard. Like if I'm not gonna get her number and she asked for mine, might as well. Second place is better than not qualifying. Lessons learned.

Hey man. If I may add my 2 cents: So there are 2 ways I have been able to keep myself motivated. 1) Think if end goal. Plain and simple, Nothing new here. 2) When you feel like you can take a day off because you "deserve it", or just don't feel like doing whatever you are doing to improve, think of how you felt when you made the decision to improve. That rock bottom feeling, it's never forgotten. It's in human nature to more actively avoid the negative as opposed to seek the positive. Thinking o…
