Sadly there is no limit to SIMP-dom. I've heard of and done far worse but that is pretty sad.

Mixed signals almost always equals options game. Your next step would be to move on.

If I were to list my biggest mistakes with women that would be at the very top of the list. Putting time, effort, and emotions into some woman who isn't reciprocating. Or worse, accepting a friendzone relationship in hopes they will "come around"

After additional thought I think you did jump on the idea of her wanting you to re-schedule your flight, that did come off as desperate or maybe just too eager. Be happy with your success, that's great she was into you and you had some fun. Be happy with that and move on.

Read this, at first I was like Dafuq's up with that? Probably the same reaction you had, but I don't think you got played. My theory? She was with some dude, they were on the skids, decided to start lining up his replacement. Enter you. Probably some genuine interest on her part. The "hang out with my girlfriends" bit was probably going to see him. When she said she wishes you had one more day she probably meant it because that was how she feeling AT THE TIME SHE SAID IT. 10 minutes later she ge…

I've had women DM me on instagram and within just a few minutes of chatting they start asking me to buy them shit, wants a new phone and I should pay for it, gives me some bullshit sob story, etc etc. It's really depressing.

There is no "BF card". Women say that even if they don't because they aren't interested. Or maybe she is looking to replace him and wants to feel in her mind she is being "upfront" with you and thinks you could be a potential option. But at the end of the day you are an option, not a priority to her. Why waste your time with some girl with flaky/marginal interest? One of the best bits of advice I've heard is to "think like a king" or picture yourself as a king of a kingdom. Would a king waste hi…

I actually have come to realize taking an L without getting butthurt, angry, passive aggressive ("I'll show her!") is a sign of maturity and emotional growth. I'm still working on it but getting way better with each day.

If you've been friends for years then it's way the hell too late. What would you expect to happen? You profess your undying love to her, she "comes around", cue romantic music, you kiss, etc?

How? Don't get into it in the first place. Make your interest clear from the begining. If offered the "let's just be friends bit", decline and move. But leave the door open while you pursue other options.

Sure it is. It's okay to flirt with whoever you damn well feel like. But why waste your time with some girl who has a boyfriend? Do you really just want to be some girl's side action? Why waste time with some girl with zero loyalty or integrity?

Classic options game or she just likes the interest/attention and validation. Try to escalate, see if she's willing to see you on a clear date. If not, move on.

Confidence like others have said. I have spoken to girls who date thugs, losers, and assholes and they will say something like "he makes me feel safe". Never got what that really means, but someone broke it down for me. Basically he is tough and will hurt other dudes in defense of her, or at least that's how she sees it.

Her attraction level for you has dropped, that's why she doesn't want sex. Figure out why and fix it, everything else will come into line.

Thanks all for posting this and being candid about it. So much I hear on this sub are dudes who want a high body count and think it will bring them happiness and fulfillment. I knew several man whores and really wouldn't trade places with them. They always struck me as being not that much different than incels aside from being sexually active versus jerking off. Both were obsessed with women, spent their time/energy chasing a thrill, and had really hollow and empty unfulfilling relationships wit…

I struggled with it too...I don't really think about how to "act" anymore. My disinterest in flaky women who give me mixed signals is far from being an act. I guess the best advice to give would be to match/mirror her interest. Flaky interest? Give her disinterest. Definite interest? Escalate. There is this girl at work, knockout strawberry blonde. Every dude just drools and fawns all over her. She was giving me the "mixed signals" bit. I decided not to "bite" and it just drove her nuts. Girls l…

No, I don't think you are overthinking. I've had MANY women give me the mixed signals bit and never really was able to figure out why, should I try to escalate, etc. Mixed signals almost always equals options game. She probably likes the attention, maybe even has some interest, but wants to decide to date you at her convenience or when it "works out" for her, if even if it ever does. Or maybe likes you but wants to see if she can patch things up with her "main" dude first. But at the end of the …

No. Never accept the "let's just be friends" bit unless your interest in her is truly platonic. Simply say "thanks, but I'm not interested in being just friends". Don't get mad or butthurt, just move on. Think like a high value man. Would a high value alpha give any thought to a woman who isn't giving him what he wants or reciprocating his interest?

I tried going the PUA route and it felt "off" and then I realized why. Being a PUA is about being a man whore. It takes dorky incel men who are obsessed with women and have unfulfilling relationships with women...and turns them into sexually active men who are obsessed with women and have unfulfilling relationships with women. Nothing really changes in who they are, they just trade incel-dom for man whore-dom.

Sounds like classic options game to me. Has a BF, things could be on the skids with him, and is possibly looking to line up his replacement. Also the actions show her trying to twat block other girls by projecting the idea of you and her being an item. Are you interested? Then you should make a move. If you are interested you need to escalate. Now. If you get the "let's just be friends bit" reject her offer and move on.

depends on where you are at. Just starting out? No. You can learn the basics for free or the cost of a good book. If you are midway, like dating, but still having issues then yes it might be worth it. Or maybe if you are stuck on a basic point and need help. But most of the time no.

Pretty sure you are friendzoned? After 5 years, ya think? You have very low chance of flipping the script unless you start pulling back, developing other interests, moving on, and being willing to show romantic interest.

see my previous reply for details. But just talking about "the weather" as an opener is fine. I don't even use the term "opener" or think about it. I just open when I feel like it and go from there. I either bomb or get a good reaction. Either way it doesn't matter to me.

Just say whatever comes to mind in the moment. Waiting in line for food? comment on the food, ask her what her favorite is. Just say "hi". Make a comment on the geopolitical situation in Bolivia. It really doesn't matter. Your overall level of confidence, body language, appearance, and vibe are the only thing that matters to her. Men care about the CONTENT of the conversation, women care about the CONTEXT of the conversation.

that comes across as butthurt, passive aggressive, and confrontational. Maybe she really truly did have legit reason for cancelling. How do you think that text made her feel? It comes across as aggressive and pushy as well. Again, how do you think she felt reading that? Instead... "Hey Laura, hope you feel better. Seeing the dentist is not fun at all. Let me know when you feel better and are free so we can reschedule. Look forward to seeing you"

I used to be the "cute" boy in school, but that was so long ago. I can tell you a few basics. Start by saying "hi" to him and just ask him a few general friendly questions about what you want to know about him. Keep it short, don't be pushy or too flirty. Tell him maybe a few things about you. Try that for a few weeks and see where things go.

I dislike the term "nice" guys, at least in the context of my relationships with women. I used to think I was "nice" and the dudes they dated were "douchebags" or "assholes". But then I realized the only reason I was friends with certain women and did things for them was because I just wanted to fuck them. What is "nice" about that?

I don't get the obsession with having a huge dick. I've even spoken to guys saying they wished they had like a 10" dick. Once you hit a certain size your sexual options are either "loose" women or barnyard animals. Far as myself...I'm pretty long but wish I had more girth to go with it. My goal is to maximize what I have, not obsess over where I feel I am lacking. For example I do kegels every day. And I'm shopping for a good cock ring to help with my erections and stamina. I used to have horrible one-itis so I can relate. I got to thinking what is the root of one-itis? Same. I guess for me what helped is deciding what exactly I feel awkward about. For me it's getting it up and keeping it up, especially as an older dude. Also I have a belly and lots of bodyhair. A lot of it stems back from when I was first sexually active, things that happened to me. I felt pressure to get it up but probably I put it on myself more than anything. Weight for sure. Started off at 275, now down to 220. Kept at it despite setbacks and frustrations. Kept the weight off. It will be 10 years next year since I started exercising. Having 6 pack abs is less important than being muscular. Regular exercise tightens everything up and helps with your posture and even how you walk and stand. Women notice that. I do a lot of core/kickboxing and regular hikes.

short answer: I make time. What do you mean by "friendzone"? I think of an "active friendzone" relationship where you see her as a friend, do things for her, hang out, talk, etc but are "just friends". What you describe is getting the "LJBF" speech and then pulling back, more like a "passive" friendzoning. You got the speech, moved on, didn't try to get her to "come around". "Active" friendzone relationships are a pure time waste. You put time, money, effort, emotions, etc into some chick who isn't reciprocating at best. …

When I first started my confidence level on a scale of 1-10 was in the negative numbers somewhere about as low as whale shit. I started just by finding good material and learning some basics and getting that down pat. Now I am taking small steps towards approaching women and I'd say my confidence is about a 3 or 4 and slowly climbing. They say competence is the cousin of confidence. Just learning and owning some basics has helped me immensely. Start with that.

Perfect response. You rejected her offer of being "just friends" without being aggressive or butthurt over it. A lot of guys will either accept being "just friends" in hoping she will "come around" or lose their shit and go bananas. Classic options game. Move the F on. You are putting time and effort into a relationship that isn't going the way you want with a girl who isn't reciprocating your interest. You are also taking yourself out of the dating market by wasting your time with her. Find better options and move on.
/r/seduction12/05/22 01:03 AM

Depends on your intentions. An occasional text or message to show you care and are thinking about her is probably appropriate. I guess it depends on the nature of your relationship. If you are already dating her and getting physical I certainly would. Otherwise it's simp behavior and you wind up becoming her emotional tampon or gay male girlfriend.

A good cut can work wonders for a man's level of physical attractiveness. Imagine being able to flip a light switch and getting 1 to 3 points on a 1-10 scale of attractiveness. If you have to even ask, take a selfie now, book an appointment with a good barber, and take an "after" photo and compare.

Look at it this way... Does spending time/effort on texting help you increase a woman's attraction for you? A lot of dudes fall into the trap of "time/effort spent = positive attraction". How to respond? Ask yourself this: What would a high value man do in this situation? Would he have any time or attention to give a woman with low/flaky interest who wasn't responding to him? Women with that kind of "interest" are a total waste of your time. Move on and find better options.

First, it's less about what you say and more about how you come off and present yourself. Blurt out a total non-sequiter if you have too, doesn't matter. What to talk about? What do you want to know about her? What do you want her to know about you without trying to impress her.

"re calibrate" as in figure out why her attraction level is dropping and adjust accordingly
/r/seduction24/04/22 04:05 PM

the "plus one" is a screaming red flag. Low interest but wants to keep you as a "backup" in case things don't work out with her "main" interest. Move on or at least pull back and start working better prospects. A high value man has no time or thought for a woman with low or flaky interest.
/r/seduction22/04/22 01:38 PM
2

If I had to guess it's most likely reason 2 with a mix of 1 and 3. I wouldn't have any big talks with her at this point, it's counter productive. There really isn't much to "do" other than go on a date, read her level of attraction towards you, and go from there. Either escalate or pull back.

Could be anything. Start with the most common. 1: Has another, more interesting prospect - you should have several prospects as well until she proves she is worth your exclusive time and attention 2: Her attraction for you is dropping - always be watching her attraction level and re calibrate as needed. 3: Her dog died, didn't get a promotion she wanted at work, PMS, general female moodiness and emotional swings

I had the same issue. For me it was just realizing the root of approach anxiety was my own neediness and insecurity. Now I am perfectly okay if a women doesn't like me, I get BTFO'd, totally bomb a joke, etc. If I bomb it I don't let that change the way I feel about myself or diminish me as a man. If you are interested in an LTR a good question to ask yourself would be "am I the kind of person someone could see having a future with?". I don't really fault you for shit testing some guy to see if he's worth your time at all.
/r/seduction21/04/22 03:33 PM

I don't see a contradiction. I have found since I have worked on my neediness issues I have had a LOT less approach anxiety. I really don't have a lot of fear talking to women I find interesting. Escalating and closing...well, still working on it. What I really like about Manson's work is where he talks about "what do I say?" and how it really doesn't matter. And how sitting around thinking of "openers" is in and of itself needy behavior.

I dislike the "game" books because they teach you how to look/act "cool". I would rather BE "cool" or "uncool" or whatever so long as it's just a better more confident version of myself. Also, how in the hell does anyone actually learn that stuff? I can't keep half of it straight, especially if I'm talking to a girl I happen to like. Should I "neg"? Use this pattern? That pattern? It's just confusing and lame to me. And worse it's just about getting laid. Yeah, I want to get laid. But I also wan…

I did a cold approach, even talked to some girl for a few minutes. I thought it went great, was so proud of myself...until I looked back and realized I had gotten myself BTFO'd and actually lowered her attraction for me. I talked her out of wanting to date me. I got BTFO'd and it was a huge victory for me. I made damn near every mistake one can think of but learned something important for it. Rather than cursing her for being "snobby", "a bitch", etch I started overhauling my whole approach.

You effectively used the "takeaway" and it worked. The "maybe date" was probably a shit test to see if you would bite or not. And you didn't. Congrats! Maybe your response was a bit terse and sounded a little butt hurt-ish, but not bad at all.
/r/seduction19/04/22 02:25 PM

sounds like a bit of shit testing to me...seeing how you react and if you go all butthurt. Normally I'd say ditch her but if there is a "reschedule" than that's a good sign. I would still be looking at other options though. She sounds a bit mental and flakey.
/r/seduction12/04/22 04:01 PM

Female games tend to break down to 1: options game or 2: shit tests. This is classic options game. Either she's planning on monkey branching or else just wants the attention. Or you as a possible backup in case she dumps BF. You aren't going to be friendzoned, you already are friendzoned. Move on.
/r/seduction12/04/22 03:55 PM
13

Textbook example of "options game". They probably have some interest but have a "main" boyfriend or interest. But at the same time want to keep you around in case they need a "backup" for whatever reason. That and they probably enjoy the interest/attention. What to do? Nothing. Next text you get, ask them out of a definite date. They say "no" or give you a lame excuse tell them to text back when "their schedule opens up" and leave it at that. Then move on and find other, better options.
/r/seduction12/04/22 03:51 PM

Yes, it's absolutely possible. Game, confidence, and dressing well matter a lot more than six pack abs. But of course it's a lot easier when you are fit since you get more opportunities.
/r/seduction21/03/22 03:00 PM

#3 comes off as being desperate and having no other options #2 sounds really butthurt and passive aggressive...and frankly that's exactly what it is. any attractive woman will have multiple "plates spinning" so to speak and so should you. Best to move on and learn from any mistakes being made.

Sadly after much experience in the friendzone the offer of friendship typically means she does want to be friends, maybe even has some interest, but doesn't see you as quite boyfriend material. More than likely to keep you as an "option" in case things go sideways with her main interest so she has the security of an easy monkey branch. Also for the attention, validation, having some dude who is "there" for her, you doing shit for her, or even actual friendship she doesn't get from her boyfriend.

Maybe = No Oftentimes they won't come out and say "no". They don't want to hurt your feelings or have to deal with drama. I've seen dudes totally lose their shit when a girl says "no" and she's likely had the same experience. Like someone else said, if you have to ask, there's your answer. You should have a definite date in mind before you ask. Your way of asking shows hesitation which signals low confidence. Also that you took several weeks. I would pull away, get something else going, and then…

Sounds like normal shit testing. Usually shit testing is when they sense weakness. She wanted to see if you got butthurt or lost your shit over other dudes. To pass shit test just be unperturbed and laugh it off. I did with one girl. Sometimes it crosses a line, like it did with this girl. I mentioned something to her, she got bitchy, I just shrugged it off. Then I proceeded to give her a firsthand demonstration on how replaceable she was. Never a problem after that.

How do you have an abundance mindset when things aren't, well, so abundant? That's actually a really good question. I struggled with that myself very early on. To me "abundance" means looking for and seeing opportunity. It also means believing in myself and the future based off the changes I am making today. I don't think paying for a woman's trip is being a sugar daddy provided you are fucking her and feel okay with the relationship. Paying for an exotic trip overseas seems a bit much for a short relationship, though. I would caution against extravagant dates, trips, etc. Just fly her out to you for a few days and enjoy the time together. But no, paying travel expenses is fine. I just think an exotic vacay is a bit much at this point in the relationship. She really hasn't earned it just yet.

Mixed bag. Some of the dating coaches actually have pretty good free content on YouTube and I've learned a lot for them. I almost think that being a dorky incel isn't really that different than being a total man whore if you stop and think about it. They both have empty unfulfilling relationships with women. It's all about women for them. The incel idolizes and/or hates women. The player spends all his time chasing a thrill with women. The point is their life revolves around women in some fashion. Their worth is based on what women think about them. 2 sides of the same coin. I like Mark Manson's take on it. The go…

Bro, shit testing is very common. You will run into it a lot. It's their way of determining if you are worth their interest or time, especially if she is hot and has to weed out the beta schmucks from the alphas. It's just another barrier to break through, another thing to deal with. View it as a good thing or at worst a mild irritation. A woman won't shit test a dude she has zero interest in. There is nothing confusing at all. You got friendzoned, period. Sound pretty simple to me. Keep on trying with her and hoping to one day "win her over" is classic friendzone. If she's not giving you the relationship you want, who gives a shit about her getting jealous? That's her problem. The only way to get out of the friendzone is to pull back, don't end it, and leave it up to her.

There is definitely something to this. I know a dude who was a preacher, not much to look at at all. But he had women swooning all over him because he had a very deep resonant voice. No, not worth it at all. I know dudes that are total man whores and I really wouldn't trade places with them for anything. Dealing with insane amounts of bullshit drama, having messed up women texting/calling you all hours of the day and night, having to be a heartless user, and worst of all just being with and dealing with women that you really don't give a shit about and they don't give a shit about you. Yeah, regular sex is great with a variety of partners but the rest is just drama, headache…

Really? Is that true that it does "work"? Everything I've ever read or experienced has told me otherwise. I actually avoid compliments until fairly late in the game because it can backfire. I can maybe see a super insecure woman but it working in general?

One nicety with women being driven by emotions is that you can use that to your advantage. It's definitely possible to re-attract a woman who ghosted you, friendzoned you, etc. Like others have said, pull back and see what happens. And decide for yourself that you are NOT going to be an option but rather a priority.

Women. Just because their market value drastically diminishes over time. You can be a man and be a little chubby and still do well. Women need to be thin to have a prayer over a certain age. Of course in one's younger years like a woman in her prime, she can have her pick of damn near any man she wants.
/r/seduction06/09/21 10:58 AM

If you are a high value man women pick up on that without having to use the normal bullshit PUA tricks like negging, DHV, etc. I've spent far less time giving a shit about getting some woman to like me and more about self improvement and it's paid off much more for me.

I really wish we could shitcan the labels "nice guy" and "bad boy" because I feel they are disingenuous. "nice guys" aren't remotely nice and "bad boys" are just narcissistic douchebags or assholes. I prefer... confident man beta male or beta orbiter douchebag or asshole

I generally dislike "systems" that you can buy. I thought about buying the Coach Melanie "system" but then I saw it was a manipulative sales pitch and I bailed. Plus I doubt any of these "systems" have much to offer besides "be more confident" and "improve social skills". It's like what kind of "system" would we sell to women other than "don't be fat, a bitch, or mentally unstable"?

I really dislike the labels "bad boy" or "nice guy". I used to think I was a nice guy until I realized the only reason I did anything for certain girls was that I wanted to fuck them. How is that being "nice"? I think we need to adopt more appropriate labels like "confident man", "beta orbiter", and "douchebag" instead.

Holy red flag, batman! Already in a serious relationship with another guy, but spending that kind of time with you? Sounds like super friendzone to me. Unlike most of what I hear from women this actually sounds legit. I would just tell her to feel better and contact you when she's ready to see you and line up other options. 2 - no, have a definite date in mind not "what do you want to do". If you are paying to "earn her respect" her then you are doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. I always pay because it's just the right thing to do and I'm old school like that. I do like the idea of paying while she is using the bathroom, busy, etc. Will try that for sure.

You don't "display" or "demonstrate" those qualities, you need to BE a high value man. You need to BECOME those qualities. Woman pick up on that stuff far more than you think. I spent some time working on my confidence and being more assertive recently. This girl I work with, hadn't seen me in a while. I saw her again after I started making those changes. Perhaps you hesitated when you should have made your move earlier so she rejected you by mentioning the BF. Likely either on the skids with BF and wanted to get you to make a move, you didn't, and she changed her mind. Or just wanted the attention/validation. And never, ever accept the friendzone. You are taking the relationship on her terms, not yours. Just reply you aren't interested in being just friends without being butthurt and move on.

Classic options game. Wanted to keep you interested, suggested a date, something better came along, and she flaked on you. Maybe has a BF and is on the skids and wanted to have you as a backup but later changed her mind. Or was able to line up a different date with someone she had more attraction to. You handled it correctly, move on and if she contacts you again then decide if it's worth it or not.
/r/seduction31/08/21 02:09 PM

That's pretty concrete. I guess I would ask what is the nature of your relationship with her? Unless you are supposedly exclusive with her then you really don't have much say in it. It certainly does sound like the classic "options" game to me. I know the seduction gurus say you should have several girls you are dating and pick the one who most "earns" your exclusive interest but I was never much into that idea. I hate being an "option" to women, so I don't do it to them.

What concrete reason(s) do you have to think that she "still operates on his terms or schedule"? Or that he is still a part of her life? Or am I missing something here? And it also sounds like you are willing to put up with some shit because she is cute, at least in part.

I love it. It shows interest and enthusiasm and not that you are just another "option" to her. In several cases it made the difference between me choosing to go out with her or not. My first girlfriend enthusiastically initiated physical contact and sex and it turned me the F on, much more so than if I had to "convince" or "seduce" her. The part about her acting interested only when other people aren't around is a red flag. Not wanting other people to think you are an item is major red flag. I have seen cases where a woman will want to maintain your interest in her but not really date you. Like where she wants to be "just friends" but doesn't want you to date other women.
/r/seduction29/08/21 05:29 AM

No. I would actually just text her back and tell her that you should reschedule when she is feeling better or her schedule is more open. It sounds like a shit test to me. Why aren't women more direct about not being interested? They don't want to hurt your feelings. They don't want to be out somewhere on a date, friendzone a dude, and have him create a scene or drama. Or some guys actually will actually lose their shit over it and put them in a potentially dangerous situation. Best advice I ever heard is to pay attention to what a woman does, not what she says. Girl 1 probably was being flaky waiting for something better to come along but wanted you as a backup. Girl 2 friendzoned you and sounds flaky and lame. I don't know why people spend so much time on this. It's almost like they are butthurt over being friendzoned and want to "show her". That's passive aggressive and manipulative. It's not her fault what she feels or doesn't feel. The best way to handle that issue is to stay in your frame, firmly tell her you aren't interested in being "just friends", that she can call you if anything changes, and move the F on.

You know, finding a woman you can see having a future with is very, very rare. You may want to consider that before you just ditch her or tell her you she is good enough for sex but not enough for a relationship with. Of course she could be totally mental, but women that are wife material are few and far between. Food for thought.

Sounds like you are doing the right thing, only I wouldn't block her. By pulling away you are actually helping to build attraction. And maybe you might later decide she is worth your interest, or maybe not. You made it clear you aren't interested in being friendzoned by her. I guess the only thing I would look at is WHY you got friendzoned in the first place, learn from it, and move on.

What she says isn't worth a damn. Pay attention to what she does. Sounds like she wants you to be exclusive to her while she explores other options. Until recently I actually used to believe things women told me instead of really watching their actions. Corey Wayne said it best "pay attention to her actions, not words". Yeah, probably. You made her feel like shit over her decision to fuck you while you completely excused your actions with banging her. And maybe she actually might have wanted or hoped that the "benefits" would turn into an LTR. You told her she was good enough to fuck but not good enough for a commitment. You told her you were proud of being a man whore but she should be ashamed she had sex with you. Or maybe she was feeling insecure thinking you saw her as a piece of ass and not someone you act…

Game playing. I echo other's statements as well. Either she's looking to potentially replace you or else she's stringing him along to get some kind of validation from him. Sounds like the "options game" or "dating stock market" where she maybe kinda likes him and wants to keep him interested in case his "stock value" rises with her and yours drops. Or maybe he's a "backup" or "spare tire boyfriend" she keeps on retainer. Either way, I'd start looking at other options as well.

A lot of "working girls" use social media and dating apps to get new clients. Either she has very low standards of who she fucks or she's a hooker. Perhaps I am reaching a bit based off limited info. But the behavior I describe is not at all uncommon among women. I've seen the "option game" time and again. It's less about "attention" and more to do with him coming off as needy as hell to text her every day and needing her attention. He also failed to express clear interest early enough (3 weeks is way too long) and didn't escalate like he should have. Notice how she says she doesn't see this relationship "going anywhere" and dumps him via text. He acted like a straight up stalker to her. And he also told her by his …

I'm a good looking dude and I get hit on fairly often by women. I would suggest actually going up and having a friendly, short conversation with a dude you like. That shows interest without being creepy or lame. Just talk about things you like, what's on your mind, ask him a few questions about himself.
/r/seduction02/08/21 11:39 AM

She could be on the skids with her boyfriend. It's fairly common for them to want to line up a replacement before the BF gets dumped. Or else she's bored with him, wants the attention, but doesn't go any further.

My experience with Instagram is it's full of gold digging skanks. I hope you will have better luck than I do with it. I guess the only suggestion I would have is to post interesting photos of things you like or places you have been. Learn how to take a decent shot. And of course decent pix of yourself too.

Definitely "Models". It deals with inner game and mindset and doesn't give you a lame "formula". Approaching/dealing with women is stressful enough without having to memorize all the BS about negging, time constraints, dis qualifiers, etc. Plus the "game" books don't really deal with our problems like insecurity, etc. Another great read is "3% Man" by Corey Wayne. Great background info and helped me to understand where/why I went wrong. I break ways with him on some issues but otherwise great in…

Dude, I hear ya! When I was a younger man I used to wonder what part of getting older would suck the most or how it would "feel" to be my age. The worst part for me was losing my hair. Finasteride actually screws with your testosterone levels, why I didn't use. Being obese is hurting you much worse than baldness. Even if you don't have a 6 pack being strong makes you feel more confident and even helps you walk more upright and look better. And again, chunky glasses frames are a godsend. They tak…

No, it's thinning and patchy on top like crabgrass. A good cut can do miracles if you are "on the edge" like I am. Every man my age needs a good barber, not just a Cost Cutters nearby. I am also full on gray but I color it too. Pretty soon I will be going full on buzzcut. Buzzcuts are okay. Shaved is okay. Hats are okay sometimes. The "donut" is not. Get rid of that shit. Also if you wear glasses get some good designer "chunky" frames and sport some facial hair but not a full on beard. Female at…

Used to be dead set against it, now rethinking it... One nicety with female friends is they give you "social proof". I have a girl I work with I am friends only. If other women like you, even in just a friendly way, it shows you are a good guy, likable, successful with women, etc. I've found when one likes you others follow. I think people avoid female friends because they have been friendzoned so much in the past. And I would never be friends with some girl I actually had romantic interest with…

You don't need to "show" them a damn thing. That's needy behavior. Your motivation is to "prove" you are a high value van. You simply need to BE a high value man. Women are WAY more sensitive to this kind of shit than we give them credit for. It's frightening how well some of them pick it up. I really did like the Corey Wayne book and got a lot out of it. But my latest "go to" book is "Models" by Mark Manson. Corey has good stuff but I also see some "game" aspect to it as well.

I started 6 weeks ago with reading "3% Man" by Corey Wayne. I have been working on my confidence, dealing with a lot of emotional bullshit, starting cold approaches, lost weight, gone out more, developed new interests, etc. When I first started I had several hot girls I work with go from barely knowing I existed to showing actual signs of interest not just being friendly. Women are very sensitive to your "vibe" and mine has increased exponentially. I would hardly call that defeatist at all. Do I…

It's never too late to turn shit around. Was in the same exact spot you described. I started college at age 30. I started losing weight and getting in shape at 40. And now I am actively working on meeting women. And you would be surprised how little of a shit women give on age differences. I find it more off-putting than they do.

You really don't know what people on here might be going through, what they could be coming out of, or where they are starting from. Porn addicted incels, years of freindzone relationships, severe insecurities, even childhood sexual trauma. You might think actually talking to a girl you like is no big deal but to those coming from a bad place it's a huge accomplishment. When I first started I used to push myself like crazy. Setting cold approach quotas, reading books like crazy, watching videos,…

I echo others statements. Huge red flag. She is stringing them along either for attention or validation. Or also that she is playing the dating "stock market" where she has a "portfolio" of dudes who's value rises or falls in her eyes. In other words if things go south with you or her main dude she has a "fill in" or "backup plan". The statement about "taking a lot of effort" or "take good care of her" screams she is a user and is just straight up stringing them along. Or that she "collects" bet…

Keep it basic and simple. Get rid of clothes that don't fit. Match your shoes to your belt. Dark wash jeans, athletic fit. Polo shirts. A pair of nice (not white sneakers) and a pair of oxfords. Every man should have a pair of oxfords, you can even get them at Wal Mart. A few nice accessories like a decent watch and gold chain.

I couldn't care less whether she likes me or not. That's the beauty part. She is way more emotionally invested in either hating me or pretending to hate me but really liking me. And with super mental or immature girls there really isn't much difference between love and hate anyway. I find it more amusing than anything else.

That sounds about right, I wouldn't consider that a major weight issue. If you put yourself together right you should be okay looks wise. I know women about that size/weight that are very attractive. I don't know how to use the DM feature here otherwise I would give you a more thorough critique.

You mention a "bunch of stuff" twice. What, specifically, is she asking you for? Also, asking her to come over to your place implies you just want sex from her.
/r/seduction27/07/21 02:12 PM

As long as you don't have any major weight issues and put yourself together decently you have a pretty good chance of being attractive. You can also work on your "game" like we do, most women don't. And you don't have to be a Victoria's Secret model either.

books I've read and recommend are the "3% Man" by Corey Wayne and "Models" by Mark Manson. "Models" is my favorite because it breaks from the "game" type books and has actually seriously helped me out a lot versus memorizing techniques. 3% Man is great because it offers great insight but is a bit "rule" heavy for me.

Damn dude, talk about mixed signals. You discuss the specific incidents of mixed signals but offer no context of your relationship. Sounds pretty friendzone to me - always there for support, help her with money, not expressing firm interest after 3-4 months. As to "why" maybe enjoys the attention, perhaps trying to "breadcrumb" you, or maybe just wanted a massage and the satisfaction of knowing it turns you on and you desire her without her having to reciprocate.
/r/seduction26/07/21 02:01 PM

Well, what would you like to know about her? Have a few "basic" questions and then jump off from there so you seem interested. "Basic" questions like what her job is, then try to engage emotions or ask why she chose that career, how she feels about her job (is it stressful, would you choose something different, etc). Or share something personal about yourself focusing on emotions and then ask if she had a similar experience, felt a similar way about stuff, etc.

Bullshit. I am in my late 40's and still get interest from women literally half my age. I am probably more put off by it then they are. It's not that I intend to want to creep on some hot young women or even really want a 25 year age gap but those are the women I go for and they seem to like me too. Confidence, emotional maturity, status, dressing well, knowing how to dance, being in shape (I am), education, etc are way more important to women then age. I know plenty of dudes in their 20's that …

Or maybe she likes you, isn't sure she wants to date you, wants to decide at her convenience and is hoping to keep you "on deck" until then. Ask her out and see what happens. Very public places like grocery stores, parks, etc women are more likely to be on guard. Weddings, parties, church events, etc they are more receptive. Cold approaches can work, but your game must be tight.

You are overthinking it. The video call is just to make sure she's legit, not some dude scamming you, her profile pix match, etc. Think of it as a phone interview. Keep it to like 10 minutes max. Have some material (questions, etc).

I figured the "better option" for sure. And I'm guessing that makes the vast majority of flake issues. Or also the "call and confirm" date follows the same pattern. She wants to hold her schedule open in case something better comes along. But the "attention" or "validation" reasons really surprised me as well, but does make lot of sense. Would depend on what kind of "help" she is asking for. Help getting rid of crazed stalker dude? Money? What specifically is she asking you for? If it's to get involved in her drama then I would say "hell no". Or is she just wanting to get back together with you? If you still have feelings for her than yes, that would be appropriate?

Petty? Depends on your intent. If your intent is to be petty by being passive aggressive or manipulative then yes it is. Otherwise you are simply setting clear boundaries. Don't be too hard on yourself. We've all done it. Seriously man, we all have. I know I have. My mindset is "Every Day I Win". Your win of the day is you realized you simped. If she asks for more, tell her no and move on. How would you rate your level of attractiveness versus women in your age/peer group? How would you rate his level of attractiveness to other women? Does he have a lot of other options or not? What is his rough age? You say you have "shown him in other ways" your interest? What other ways? Like I said, I get hit on often. Very few of them stand out to me. Women really don't understand "game". But there are vast opportunities to be had even if you aren't a Victoria's Secret model.

I dislike the "aloof" and "indifferent" theory. A woman wants to be desired. But not in a needy, creepy way. I am not needy or insecure but also open, welcoming, friendly, and can express interest and emotion. I used to try the "aloof" bit and what wound up happening is I came off as snobbish, unapproachable, and cold.

No such thing as "emotionless guys". We all have emotions. Men just do a crappy job of realizing and dealing with them. Why would you even care if you were "emotionless"? You don't have to be super new-agey, fem, etc. Just express some honest emotions and be real about it.

Someone once said confidence is related to "competence" so for me just learning where I messed up and starting to apply it. Also dealing with my own emotional bullshit and insecurities. Finally feeling like I don't have to "perform" for some girl to get her to like me, just be real with her.

I have read a bunch of different books and I really avoid the "game" type books. Neil Strauss does have some good basic info but I always felt like the "game" methods are just that. Games. Put ons. Fronts. What's helped me is just to start dealing with my own insecurities, etc and not memorize "negs", "qualifiers", all that other shit. I am starting to actually develop real confidence.

I will assume you are "competitively" attractive meaning no major weight problems or mental here...I am a good looking guy and I get hit on quite often. I can tell you what stands out and what puts me off. Most important bit of advice: Be more assertive. Don't just passively wait for him to "notice" you. She probably had him lined up well before you got ghosted. It's very common for them to have another dude lined up as a replacement if they think the relationship is not going well or they aren't getting what they want. Try reading the 3% Man book by Corey Wayne, he explains it well. Also the article "pay attention to what women do, not what they say". Sorry for your loss man, that sucks. 30 is nothing. You can well attract women age 21 or even 18 well into your 40's. Age isn't nearly as big of a deal as you think it is. Late 40's here, but if you take care of yourself, keep in shape, work on your game, it's really no big deal. In fact I am probably more put off the age difference than most women I meet.

I suck and am horrible at cold approaches. I guess right now I am more working on my confidence and looks. Women can sense your "vibe" so I am more focused on improving that and hoping that better cold approaches follow. One thing to bear in mind...when I lost weight I had women who barely knew I existed all of a sudden flirting with me. It kinda pissed me off that I was now "good enough" for their time and interest.
