I dated a very attractive and popular girl for two years and didn't get laid from 16-18. We... tried to fool around but it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable, I tried fingering her once and she stopped me and I was so stressed I cried right there. It was humiliating and I spent time looking on reddit for what I was doing wrong. I ended up finding seduction reddits and videos, which quickly led to this subreddit. I broke up with her because I decided sex was important to me, and that a combi…

Headspace is a godsend of an app. It got me into meditation years ago because it's so simple and well put-together.

Honestly you've probably seen some basics of overarching neuroscience just reading through TRP, this is exactly what got me into my major. I've been working on a blog to teach basic Neuroscience in context of applicable skills like you see here, but have been way too busy to publish enough to open it up. As for basics of neuroscience, that's a tough task honestly. We know so little about the brain that generally you need the real nitty gritty biology understanding first for a lot of things. What…

Think of it as a way you clean out all the neurons and brain pathways that are cluttered with noise from all the crap you go through each day. When you meditate, (which certainly doesn't have to be an hour) you improve in ways that many others aren't. No one is going to make you, just like no one will make you go to the gym. Ask any of the RP elites here and they will tell you meditation is important. Why do you work out for 40-60 minutes a day. You don't accomplish anything. Same logic as to wh…

"I just started meditating and my way is the only way" is roughly how you're coming across here. I teach meditation classes. Yes it is hard at the beginning, if it was easy, then anyone could do it. Whatever works for people is fine, I meditate for 40-60 minutes at a time, typically we tell people to start with ten minutes because that is the minimum time that has been proven effective by research. If two minutes a day got you to get into it, that's perfectly fine, and I'm glad you started. I ha…

I practice Zen Buddhism and yoga as well. I kept that out of the initial post because even TRP isn't immune to rejecting something beneficial based on our preconceptions. Through regular yogic practices, meditation, and lifting I am stronger, more flexible, and more resilient than I ever was before. You don't need to go to sit on a mountain with an indian monk and meditate in silence for a week (something that me and my local org actually do), but being aware of the ideals of Zen and how they ca…

No, you're really not. The guy who's meditating for a bit every day and then goes on to work just as hard, but with the benefits of meditation, is going to have signifigant advantages. You're assuming you can't be a hard worker AND meditate
/r/TheRedPill21/01/17 07:49 PM

Gonna be honest, meditating at all in any form reaps insane benefits for the time commitment it takes. Whatever ideology you follow is more of a personal preference on your aims, getting people to just start is more important than what specific sect they follow.

Life is like moving a boulder uphill. You have to keep putting in work to move up. You can stop and take a break, but if you stop too long, it'll start rolling back down. Everyone is pushing their own boulder, some may have it easier than others, but you're not the only one, and no one will feel sorry for you if you decide to stop pushing 'just because'.

"Obsessive compulsive disorder exists to ensure that you keep your surroundings clean and organized" This isn't even remotely true. Not all that have OCD actually are meticulously clean in their environment, many have other 'ticks' or things that piss them off.

Definitely. It gave me the confidence to begin approaching situations to get into leadership roles, and taught me that those who aren't TRP are still under the mindset of 'blue pill', and that you have to be tactful/smart when dealing with people in general. Doing neuroscience definitely helped me along my RP journey as well as meditation and lots of community service. Make sure that you don't let this first instance of success influence your future expectations. Very few interactions will work this smoothly, and it's important that you don't give up when things do get rough. Keep reading, keep improving, make it your goal to take home her and all of her friends one day. I found myself feeling "satisfied" after having had my first few power trips on TRP and seeing how effective it is, keep improving, and the pussy will keep flowing.

I have a folder of books that I found to be extremely helpful/important. Obviously No More Mr Nice Guy, Models (Mark Manson), anything by Di Carlo (escalation ladder), some of Roosh's more popular works, a lot of neuroscience books, and more classical Laws of Power, Power of Now, Nietzche, etc. Those are definitely foundational books towards the RP lifestyle, but there are so many more that may appeal to you specifically. It is another form of communication. If a girl tells you something, you don't take it as fact. You take as much information as you can and make an accurate judgement, knowing how to read body language only improves your ability to know what her intentions are

Look up Elliot Hulse's videos on dee breathing and talking slow. He talks about feeling "grounded". You just gotta keep keepin' on. You will never become desensitized to it without military training to not care about human life. Empathy is a natural human construct, you will never not feel bad about someone rejecting you. The best is that you'll learn that "woah, I got rejected AND nothing changed about my life". As you realize that it really fucking does not matter, it will just not be as important, you won't be 'desensitized' necessarily

Are you concerned about him getting the girl and not you? Why? She blatantly said that she wanted something long term. You obviously didn't, so you invited him. It sounds shitty, but you can easily play on her severe insecurity. She doubts her attractiveness to the point where she feels like she needs to keep talking about it. When she does, playfully call her ugly or don't agree that she's beautiful. I reread it every year at least, I actually just downloaded the Audiobook a few days ago. I say to avoid it for now, because many new to TRP don't have the complete understanding of social constructs to not be adversely affected by the book. Do it literally anywhere else as long as campus security isn't around. Get creative, explore on and off campus a bit. Even blatantly in front of people if they aren't police, it's college. Otherwise, make a spoof to get rid of smell if you get the technique down. Rules are generally that RAs will knock if they hear a lot of people/noise or smell something off. You have like a minute or two courtesy to get the door open, and you need to hide as much alcohol as you can in that time. I have to actively try to maintain a higher body fat due to the intense exercise I get on a daily basis and how little I am used to eating (10 years of wrestling all year round) The last time I measured my body fat using multiple tests conducted by me and athletic trainers, I was at roughly 3-4% body fat. This is very unhealthy for long term maintenance, and I would always get comments on how veiny I was. "Hana what the hell PlantNutrient, look at the …

I have an excellent story about this. Well, not much of a story but example. A week or two ago, girl starts mildly hitting on me. I laugh as we dated a few years back when I was BP, and now that I've been showing intense RP traits, she is interested. I can tell she is, just not open about her interest in full. So, I asked her "you got any friends as horny as you?" This got her to compete for my attention right there, saying yes she has friends but trying to validate herself as the better choice.…

I understand that you are Russian right? In Russia, metaphors are very common forms of communicating ideas, or so I've heard. It must come naturally that you would "objectify" women even without meaning to. Like a natural-born bp rage inducer

Great condensation. I think the chapter on formality can be swayed a bit based on personality. I am not necessarily the type to say things like "c u l8r" and shit like that, I type formally and with expectations normally, I swing a little lower for girls like one I am talking to currently. She phrases things like "lol im soooo byrnt" (English is not her strong suit) So in order to keep her comfortable, I refrain from my usually formal tone, classing it down some.

I am one who has studied this as well, it has a lot of implications and great study behind it. Many people will blow it off as a "bunk diet" but it isn't a diet. It leads to higher energy levels, increased testosterone, and lots of other benefits. This really came around during my time of researching "transhumanism" and how to excel beyond limits. This research ultimately led me to TRP

I would like to expand on "thick" and maybe add in "athletic". Thick, in my experience, is not attractive. It isn't just me, the way the term is used is for the semi-behemoths. If a girl is attractively curvy, that is left out generally and attributed to her overall rating as a normal woman. An important term that is used a lot is athletic. With the large fitness craze hitting some younger women, athletic is something to keep in mind. It could easily mean one of two things. She actively looks to…

On the sub I mod at another account, this is the number one thing I look for in whether to remove posts/ban someone. If they are a three year active member with hundreds of karma in the community (and I somehow don't know them by now), something that may seem like spam obviously isn't at that point. When a shitty click-for-ad-revenue blog posts a link under a 1 month account with 3 comments in history, and has posted it on other subreddits as well, I'm banning that motherfucker

I actually considered doing the same thing you just did, even as a due and devout redpill user. Just ignore the posts like these, not all TRP posts are "desirable" and many of us are still in the angry phase. I do agree though, I've had comments in the past downvoted because I pointed out the double standard some of us put down. It isn't complicated, there isn't a TON you can do to be elite. Lifting strength comes with time and dedication. If you have good form, lift almost every day, and eat a good amount of food, you will get strong as hell with time. You can couple this with a healthy diet to cut body fat while still gaining muscle but that's a whole new layer

In the past month or so, TRP has gone up a few thousand subscribers. That is an intense increase, considering the subreddit I moderate (with generally the same # subs) grows at a fraction of that pace. People are opening their eyes, and realizing that social norm isn't the only way to think.

It is sexist in that it realizes the differences between men and women, and uses that to the advantage of TRPers and ultimately gives women what they want. Yeah, it's sexist as hell. TRP isn't an entity. It teaches men to not sit and complain about their problems, but take action to fix them. When a problem like death or illness comes up, it isn't weak to seek help from others to deal with those emotions. Emotions are normal to all people. Letting trivial emotions like jealousy, greed, and laziness control you, is not something you have to put up with.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/14 08:51 PM

So the fact that people agree with him means that he is wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/14 08:44 PM

On the topic of Dates. Take them on dates, but don't go fucking overboard. You are still teenagers, make them feel appreciated but not uncomfortable.

I remember being introduced to /r/stoicism a looonnnggg time ago. I had completely dismissed it and it's lessons. Then a few months later, I found myself starting to read TRP casually, the irony.

In our current day and age, Two And A Half Men seems less a fitting title for the show and more an accurate count of the actual number of "men" alive on earth these days. That's where society is headed

Hit puberty. If you have already, just accept that it is who you are. You don't need to be defined by something as silly as your voice, if you get harassed for it, laugh it off and come back with something witty. You can't change something like your voice, you can, however, not care about it and then others will stop caring as well.

Diving license sounds pretty kick ass. I have a diving school right by my house that goes diving in this old quarry. I should take it up.

On this topic. I'm trying to internalize the concept of Zen, it has slowly become a part of my life up until I started TRP. Do you have any advice on what someone might go through/realize to get this concept through their mind?

I've been spending the past hour trying to explain to my friend why he needs to stop orbiting this girl, sent him this story to explain it.

I might just be pissy because I just broke up with my gf of 1.5 years a night ago, but you don't want one-itis. This is exactly what it sounds like. She refused you sex, next her. If the relationship is worth it, she'll come back. Chances are it isn't meant to be, and you'll be MUCH happier moving onto a relationship where you handle it better the entire time.

Sometimes I'll find myself about to say "sorry" and then I take a step back, and then come back with something else. The trick I heard on BAM was If you're going to apologize for something, start it with "I apologize for ____". If it seems ridiculous to say that for whatever you're about to say "sorry" for, then you shouldn't apologize for it.

I'm just starting TRP and the thing I can tell you should realize, is that you're a faggot. Until you put your ego and self righteousness aside, you are no better off than the "feminists" you're bitching about.

I have a four set of picture frames with the chinese characters for "Prosperity, tranquility, happiness, and wisdom" in my room. It covers pretty much all of that. Prosperity: Money/Power Tranquility: Self Control/focus Happiness: Enthusiasm/Energy Wisdom: Skill/Intelligence I do not have anything for Courage, but It would be a great center-piece to the set.

You could make it so that if a person is able to edit the Wiki, where you need to have a certain amount of karma in the subreddit, then they can award ∆. That will keep flocks of bystanders from throwing ∆s around.

This not only leads to better, higher quality discussion of theory and the like, but avoids discouraging new members from posting and continuing to read. I posted a rant the other day after returning to TRP, and expected to be met with heat like "grow the fuck up" and being harassed for doing the wrong thing. I am pretty new I would say, and the response to my post was overwhelmingly helpful. I've never had such a positive response on other subreddits. Screw the stigma about you guys around redd…

I wish I never had All of this fucking promposal shit is dumb. My girl even told me that I had to make it special. So I did something, and I guess it wasn't up-to-par and she was unimpressed. I'm done with this shit.
