I wouldn't exactly invoke the word spirituality (the specifics of which would open Pandora's box/not with the time), but it does sound like you've learned a lot about the importance of meditation. There's certainly a lot to finding mental peace under physical stress, as can be seen in the intermix of world religions and martial arts, fasting, rites of passage, etc.

A devotional is like a reader or primer with religious themed essays etc. designed for the faithful. Mostly means daily bible reading, hence the root word "devotion", can be accompanied by commentaries etc to increase understanding of the passages being read at the time.

Have you not heard The Darling Heard 'Round The World? He'll tell you his superpower against feminists is the fact that he doesn't care to sleep with any of them, the ultimate foundation of OI in an intersexual context. When I heard that I just thought: you know, I don't care to sleep with any of them either! Given zero cares since. edit: because it's fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0utavOx3DI

Joke's on you if you thought it was ever decent even in the time of our founding fathers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_zTN4BXvYI That being said, I think it's ridiculous as well, and if I didn't understand evo psych, I would be completely lost. But, human's gonna human. The number of (previously) rock-ribbed female conservative pundits who have leapt into bed with Trump forced my eyes open like A Clockwork Orange.

Your wife telling you to screw the slave girl was a Shit Test? That is a new one. In your years at MRP you've never seen that one? I remember it from 3 months ago with /u/reddeadwolverine (RIP) where his wife was completely serious about having another wife around to help. Sometimes it's the wife trying to get the man to initiate divorce ("you clearly don't love me so you should find someone else/go back to her.") And of course the same thing repeated more often in lesser forms—wives prodding th…

I didn't take you for a mental gymnast, BPP. Hagar was a show of faithlessness in God and a massively failed shit test from Sarah—thanks to that 3,500 years later we have to take off our shoes in airport security (among other related discomforts, such as beheading). The polygamous relationships in the Bible each had their unique sting for straying from the perfect plan set out from the beginning: man and wife. Singular. Neither do the kids-as-retirement or welfare arguments hold up alongside the…

You don't have to agree with the morality of something to understand its efficacy. That said, the Active Dread areas are immoral from a biblical perspective, but are unnecessary unless you married a real loser, which it doesn't sound like you did. She hasn't pulled a weapon on your or stolen the kids or anything—passive Dread will do and it's already working from your FR. I have actually reached a point that I am immune to her words. in no way do her comments dictate my mood. I fucking loathe it. my day is shit when I know I have to go back to someone who is not talking to me for NO FUCKING REASON. She uses that, too, to make me feel bad. I don't thing for a second that BPP is saying you should actually emulate this 19 year old and have fake messages and nudes sent to your phone. The real takeaway for me is that SMV and perceived SMV will always be different, and that difference can be negative or positive. If it's negative, you're under-representing yourself or even hiding things that others would like to see. If it's positive, that's the faking-it zone. Obviously, if the majority of your perceived SMV is fluff, you're in for tr…

Just realize you're wading into areas intentionally shrouded in PC "truth". If you're coming from an angle of evolutionary psychology as TRP at large claims, it's pretty obvious there's no direct reproductive value to the relationships. However, you can look at it as a resource advantage. Dudes in ancient Greece and Rome (and today in Muslim cultures) bang with about the same frequency and flippancy as modern-day businessmen golf, and I can imagine for much the same reasons. In Hollywood, sex (h…

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/3x8fxm/im_milo_yiannopoulos_ama/cy2dwiz Also, isn't there a whole RP subreddit just for this? There's a huge difference between conservative homosexuals (like Milo) and your mainstream stereotypes. "Gay Marriage" legalization in the US ruined the fun of being a deviant sub-culture for the right-leaning gays. However the idea of being in a 'marriage', at least in terms of sexual fidelity is pretty laughable in gay culture. Pulling a statistic from the …

You say she "knows a lame animal when she sees one", why not just say outright "I pulled a muscle—I'll be fine in a day or two"? Hiding a fact that you already admitted you couldn't hide from her, and then snapping at her when she wonders why the hell you would hide something so trivial seems far, far weaker than the actual injury. This isn't the Serengeti. Choosing between a loss of frame and admitting a slight injury that doesn't stop the cash from flowing, I'd just make light of the injury.

Technically as you stick to the same weight loss, it is your TDEE that dropped, not your deficit that increased. I plugged the Mifflin-St. Jeor Equation into my spreadsheet so my TDEE is continuously calculated with my weight loss. The kCal deficit is subtracted from that so I really am eating at 600kCal below TDEE. You're right though about TDEE dropping from where I started to now, by almost 100kCal. I'll be doing 5x5 as far as it takes me, thankfully I do have the tools to see whether or not …

See my wife feels that when i carry her or lead her to the bedroom it's almost as if im dragging her she says. Like it's being forced. This is getting somewhere. Something's missing in your MAP. Based on the other things you've said, there's definitely still a lot of frame issues (you think she's in you're frame but you're still in hers—it will take time). First of all we're not sure what asking for sex looks like—are you begging the gatekeeper for entry or are you taking what you want until you get a hard no? When you do get a hard no and leave, do you truly not care and are you doing something to improve your life, or are you butthurt about it (because she can definitely tell.) Talking about how she wants you to stick around after rejection (because you're butthurt) and how you obey her every wish tells me you're failing in this area and others …

When the men are at work, especially in groups over a complicated task, the women leave them alone and come back at lunchtime with sandwiches. I'm wholly in agreement. And once you have the knowledge, you don't have to be in a position to freak out at all because you know what's going on. One of the things I learned is when I know I'll be eating out at a place with no nutrition listings online, I'll eat all my protein early because carbs and fat are the most likely culprits to throw things off. Please don't react to sacrificial love in the Bible the same way feminists do when they hear the word "submit" in scripture. Every single moment can be considered time sacrificed. anti divorce rape Of course! The legal implications collect like barnacles to the word 'marriage' for the majority english speaking westerners here—hence 'don't do it' and 'divorce rape' dropping in your first two sentences. For a beginner, counting calories is one of the BEST ways to watch what you're eating, get a feel for what foods are worth eating and which aren't. To say otherwise is bad advice and it's going to give someone the wrong idea. I've got a post brewing about exactly this. Calorie in vs out is a bigger myth then gender equality Normally I would give the benefit of the doubt but since you say that in response to MRPguy who nailed it on the head: There were no fatties in Auschwitz. Now, from the linked thread: We do not get fat because we eat too much. Instead, we eat too much because we are getting fat. You're constructing paradise in your mind. New flings turn into old things. You're not a poor sap stuck with a vampire wife—you say things are good, so it's very likely the grass only looks greener. Since there is NO HUMAN ACTION WITHOUT SELF-INTEREST—even Christ had self-interest in the cross "for the joy set before him"—we must sort actions into selfishness and selflessness by intent. This is what I think it means for men to love their wives as Christ loves the church—Jesus unified three offices that had been previously separate in Israel, and he loves the church in the context of those three offices: Prophet, Priest, and King. As Prophet, Jesus had a close relationship with the father in Prayer, calling Him the Aramaic equivalent of 'daddy'—and discerned the Father's will. He then preached and obeyed the Father's words without omission. As men, this role of loving our wives …

"Women thrive when they're safe, men thrive when they're challenged." is a little line I drop frequently, it's a good intro for BP folk for gender differences that they have yet to disagree with me on. Notice since there's no such thing as safety, the women thrive over a feeling of being safe, protected, consistent, and comfortable (which we all know is not a condition of reality). Being challenged however, is both a state of mind and a condition of reality.

The only TRP I read any more is what gets cross-posted here. Even if you only look at the endorsed stuff, the signal to noise ratio in the comments (with or without hostile/ignorant jamming) is a waste of time. RP theory as a body of evidence is pretty mature now, if anything cutting edge gets discovered I know it'll trickle in to this sub eventually.

You came this close to making me regret not feeling hunger. Doesn't stop me from having my 'best meal ever' story though—5 years ago my brother and I were hiking in the north of Yosemite with a STEEP 3,000ft vertical (168 switchbacks I will remember that number till the day I die). I'm 28, I get a perfect circadian (wake up with the sun) 7-8 hours of sleep every night, my nutrition is obsessed over (at least macro nutrition) and my last blood test showed the diet I've had for the last 5 years has me in the green for vitamins except for D3 which I supplement. My training is Stronglifts 5x5 Mon/Wed/Fri, so the goal right now is simply to add 5 pounds each exercise. RP is a set of scientific observations. They can be used for good or for evil like any knowledge. The "Christianity is RP" statement is dead on, but alas Christianity is an ideal that no one fully lives up to—hence Churchianity. All I have to say is make sure you live in a state that doesn't have Common Law marriage, and have a legal contract/prenup (If she doesn't like it too bad—don't fall for the people who say "You're planning for divorce before the wedding"—No, you're implementing actual consequences for failure.) Lots of binary discussion of "do you trust your wife not to cheat?" on one end and AWALT on the other. Let's just assume OP knows his wife (and the SIL) better than us. OP actually walked the middle road—disapproving, but not giving her a hard no either. In the end the girls like being rescued from difficult decisions, she woke up happy that she could tell her sister she wouldn't be going, redirecting SIL's disappointment to OP who DGAF. Works everywhere from choosing restaurants to this.

He's definitely muscular, but no he doesn't have proportions like the shorter guys I see at the gym. He'd have to quit basketball to get bigger. I know at 6'7" you can get big though—Hulk Hogan is the same height, was 300lbs and jacked like a short muscle ball (edit: probably did roids though). I don't think being realistic is self-limiting, I just know if I wanted to look like Hulk I'd have to dedicate my life to it, whereas I'd rather increase my empire in other places.
