I read this before bed last night and I wish I hadn’t… 🤣🥴

I told a guy I dated that I was in pain and not feeling well because I was on my period and he said that he did not need to know that. I said, “So you like talking about my vagina all the time but my period grosses you out?” He said he just didn’t need to know, and that it would be like him telling me every time he took a shit. I cannot make this shit up. I can’t believe that I continued to date him after that.

I’m 25 almost 26. So it’s not like it’s been that long. He even said he remembered my brother who is one year younger than I am. But I’m sure he didn’t remember me….riiiight

The fact that he tried to use stress and being “overwhelmed” as excuses for him RAPING her. Sir, kindly go to hell (not kindly though).

Oh honestly, it would not surprise if that was the case! It didn’t help that this was a messed up set up anyway- I was 20 and he was… 37 🤢 Thank goodness it was a very brief “relationship”. She of course was the one who left him, and he was a porn addicted, depraved scrote in his late thirties who couldn’t get anyone but naive, inexperienced girls barely in their twenties (i.e. me). The ex wife honestly seemed like a really cool person too, I seemed to like her as a person more than I ever did h…

He was still weirdly close with his ex wife. I’m all for good, healthy “co-parenting”, but I could tell he was still in love with her in a sense. She called him a lot and he would do things for her around the house still (under the guise of doing it for his daughter). He was a piece of shit for reasons not related to her, but that situation didn’t help anything.

Single dads are my deal breakers (well, they are now- I dated one in the past and it was not good). I know what my mom had to go through- and anyway, I don’t want to be a stepmother. If I have kids, I want it to be the father’s first experience as well.

Those are really good points. I understand being caught up and what not, but I google the regular Joe Schmos I date-so I would certainly google a billionaire’s son if I met one.

Right? He targeted women who didn’t have those experiences or that kind of “wealth”. We’re told to take chances and not miss out on opportunities of a lifetime, even at the expense of our safety. I’ve fallen for it before when I was younger. It’s sad. We can’t fall for this shit!

That documentary was absolutely insane. Unfortunately that POS still came out on top, a common theme with men.

I did this when I was 21. It’s extremely embarrassing now. And yes, they are laughing at you and no, it’s not a good feeling.

If I don’t want to go out again and I feel compelled to text them about it, I send the text then I block their number before they get a chance to reply. Because I don’t need to see stuff like this lol

They get so offended when you set your boundaries and flip it around on you like you’re the crazy one making stuff up- I also got the “whaaa?? I’m so ConFuSeD. What are you talking about, I never even said that.. blah blah blah” when I tried setting my boundaries with a guy

I want to do this someday too- I don’t have that much advice as I’m not to that point quite yet but I totally support your choice! I think you’ll do wonderful as a mother and you’re very insightful knowing you don’t want any toxicity in your future child’s life.

So true! 🙌🏼 They’re relieved that they don’t have to change or level up themselves. They can stay in the same place in their lives- the same unhealthy lifestyle, the same unhealthy people, etc. Couldn’t be me… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay this is amazing! I’m so happy for you. Kind of going through a “break up” right now and the first few days have been pretty rough. Though my stress was throughout this “relationship”- stomach issues, face breaking out, not enjoying things in life like I usually did, relapsing in my eating disorder, losing weight and getting underweight.. Although I’m a little sad because of what I once thought he was, I’m glad to not be so stressed all the time. My body was rejecting him…

Porn was totally fine, I didn’t mind my guy watching it at all. It’s not cheating at all. There’s nothing morally wrong with it, it’s healthy and empowering. WTF 😣🤢

Yeah I’ve done this and it was not fun. When they try to kiss you and touch you, it feels repulsive. It’s never worth it.

I used to date much older men- dated a 37 & 38 year old when I was 20 🤢 just because I had low self esteem. I’m 25 now and can’t fathom dating anyone more than 4 years older. The guy I’m seeing right now is the same age as me and honestly that’s ideal! I tried dating someone four years younger than me this year also and that felt weird.

Just blocked a guy I’ve been talking to for a few months bc he forgot my birthday yesterday. When I reminded him of it, he said that he didn’t forget it he just forgot what yesterday’s date was. He still didn’t make a big deal out of it after he knew. This was after so many red flags and treating me like shit, things I’m embarrassed I put up with, but this was the last straw. Meanwhile I had other people going to the ends of the earth to make sure my birthday was great. It opened my eyes a bit. …

My ex did this with One Direction too!! He got mad bc I was going to one of their concerts with my little cousin and said nobody cares that I’m going to their concert. Aw thanks girl. I understand, it’s a good feeling raising a dog with someone. Especially if you’re like me who’s on the fence about kids. But there are so many other people in my life who love to spoil my dog with me and I’m sure that can be the case for you too :)

Yeah honestly I was so young that instead of calling the cops and standing my ground about staying inside the house, I did go out to talk to him just to appease him because I knew he wouldn’t leave. But my dad stood outside the door the whole time lol. Exactly! Glad you made all of those decisions. He just wants to get to you through the dog- and like you said, when he finds another woman, he’ll stop with the dog coparenting. My ex just wanted inside my house one last time when I was trying to break up with him once and for all (I had already broken up with him over the phone bc in the past he would never let me dump him when I did it in person, but he insisted on coming over even when I wouldn’t come outside, he just wouldn’t leave. I love Dr Anthony Youn. His videos, if anything, have put me off from the idea of surgery (not that I was ever really considering it but he definitely highlights the bad consequences that could come out of surgery). Also I saw a picture of him and his wife from their wedding day and wow they are such beautiful people that have aged so gracefully. Every picture I see of his wife I’m just like wow she is so naturally beautiful.

I know right, I hear you girl. It seems like women are the least of anyone’s concerns. I’m glad in general people speak out against what’s wrong in the world, but some of these social justice warriors couldn’t care less about what they’re preaching, and they DEFINITELY don’t care about women and assault victims. But whatever.

I didn’t read all of it yet but this is such bullshit. If he was so worried about her character and personality traits, he wouldn’t be her friend either. She’s just his fuck buddy, someone he sees as disposable. Sure he might start to “like” her, but not enough to treat her with her respect.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/04/21 06:56 PM

Yeah there were so many dudes pissed that people weren’t sympathetic about his death for some reason, like the dude was their brother or something lmao

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/21 10:53 PM

I feel the same way. I don’t date “enough”. I feel like I dated and had enough sex in my early 20s to last me for a while, and I guess I did that on purpose so I wouldn’t really have to date for a long time. I’m super introverted and not a huge relationship person, but sometimes I still feel like I’m “weird” or too shy to not be dating. Usually those feelings go away when I get back on dating apps and see what cesspools they really are lol. Then i get the ultimate satisfaction in deleting them 🤣

Yes. And unfortunately in the past it was with guys who I wasn’t really into anyway and the sex was so bad.. like please cum already
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/04/21 10:18 PM

I feel like you must have super low self esteem to think this. That’s the only way I can understand it. I don’t want a guy to take two, three hours to cum (honestly can’t think of anything worse than that), but it’s annoying and unsexy when he cums in a minute.

Lol right!? Has the girl heard of the sexual revolution of the 60s!? “Free love”? 🤣
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/03/21 03:25 PM

Ugh, I did 😔 But it was honestly because I had low self esteem and though a man so much older than me (I was 20, he was 36-37) would be grateful to have me and I’d have the upper hand. Well, it turned out to not really be the case because that dude traumatized me.

Thank you so much ❤️ I’m working on it with my therapist, a lot of it I’ve overcome but there’s still some things that bother me. Not going to continue to let him take my peace anymore though.

When I dated the older guy that had that fetish, my best friend at the time suggested he may be gay bc of it and also having trouble getting/keeping an erection (can also be attributed to his age and pornsickness). At the time I was like girl, no. No way! But now I’m like well damn, maybe. He also wanted to see dick pics if I got them from other guys (those are the kind of conversations he pushed me to have with other men).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 09:41 PM

Okay yeah had a guy do exactly this to me during sex. I pretended to like it at the time but when it was over I would cry. I sometimes get depressed thinking about it now.

This was disgusting to read. I dated an older man when I was 20 with the cuckhold fetish and 4 years later I’m still fucked up from it, all the things he pushed me to do. At least I get to hear straight from the horse’s mouth about why the hell this kind of thing is enjoyable for men.

For years I’ve dealt with health issues that I still don’t understand the causes of- I’ve been to doctors and they all say nothing is wrong with me, they never take me seriously. Omg when you said he can’t lean back & admire himself penetrating her... that hit the nail on the head. A guy from my past did this, literally no intimacy, just him upright penetrating me and staring at his dick doing it with like a weird smile on his face?? (Gross). I was so uncomfortable and had never experienced that before but that man was so addicted to porn and didn’t know anything about actual intimacy. Gurl. That man sounded like he was full of so much shit 🤣🤣🤣 glad that was a thing of the past!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 11:46 PM
14

😂😂😂I believe he was an Aries posing as a Scorpio 🤣 like what?! Lmao. And exactly! I guess that’s what he thought I was going to do, but at first I was just genuinely curious what his birthday was. I think he thought I was obsessed with him, like dude don’t flatter yourself. & Wow that’s quite scary, I’m glad you were able to find that out though.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 01:24 PM

Totally agree. If I if I talk to men online and they want to meet right away, I refuse and it’s a huge red flag. And then they have the nerve to accuse me of being a catfish and/or wasting their time.. It’s like no, I just don’t know if you’re going to k*ll me or not because I’ve literally only exchanged three sentences with you over an app/Facebook/whatever. Also I find that those men who want to meet right away, like that day or the next day, usually just want to bang me anyway.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 12:30 PM

Absolutely. Some dude told me I couldn’t come to his house because he was living with his “parents” (bc he was in the process of moving)- later realized no, he actually lived with his girlfriend and her daughters. That was just one of many lies. Dude also lied about when his birthday was- wtf!?

Took the words right out of my mouth!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 01:50 AM

Exactly how I feel about him. Not that we need the reassurance from anyone especially men, but it is super comforting to watch his videos as he puts the importance on natural beauty and getting plastic surgery as a very last option.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 01:50 AM

I love him. I love him also for not shoving the plastic surgery thing down anyone’s throat also.

Yeah my parents weren’t married when I was born, my mom got pregnant with me very soon into the relationship. For almost the first year of my life, I had my mom’s last name because she wasn’t for sure how things were gonna go with my dad. My last name was eventually changed to my dad’s and they had my brothers and had a happy marriage for 20 years before he passed, but it doesn’t always work like that. My mom was smart to do what she did!

My ex tweeted, warning future girls who might have wanted to date him 😂, that if they bring up “stupid shit” they’re gone 😂 Lol the stupid shit I would bring up was him doing shady stuff with other girls and doing sexual things with a teenager when he was 20 🤷🏻‍♀️ Edit: I guess I should add that the teen was 15. Just a baby really

I guess I’m kind of a hypocrite bc here I am on Reddit but men being on Reddit creeps me out and I have a general picture of what those men look like. Idk. It kind of turns me off to think of a guy on Reddit especially frequently. I visit other subreddits but the main reason I’m on here is because of FDS.

Similar thing happened with my high school choir teacher- he would say I was pretty, had pretty hair, put his arm around us and brought us into him when we would ask him a question, get boners around us girls during class, and made a sexual gesture to a girl during class which we all witnessed. I knew he was weird when he messaged me on Facebook during the summer to tell me about show choir camp (instead of mailing us or something), I was 15 and had never had him as a teacher yet. He also had ex…

I love kitty and red but they definitely both again have their pros and cons lol. She definitely annoyingly babied Eric but the episode when she found out he lost his virginity to Donna and she’s imagining him as a baby was so funny lol

I’m obsessed 💛
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/21 09:40 PM

I mean that’s true, I guess I just meant her self confidence. Donna was the cool girl at times but she did put Eric in his place a lot and was a feminist, even though she put off going to school for him and let some shit slide. Eh. I guess they both had their pros and cons. My personal favorite character was Leo tbh lol

God, I relate to this so much. A much older man when I was 20 came into my life and destroyed everything in his path- I’m still a bit messed up from it and I still shudder thinking about the things I “consented” to. Men like him and Armie need to stay the hell away from women, I’m so sick of this happening. I hate what happened to me every day but if I give one piece of advice to any woman, especially the young women/teenagers with not much experience, stay away from older men and also men that …

I’m embarrassed to admit that I liked that movie when it came out 🤦🏻‍♀️ Now I cringe at the whole “omg we’re so oppressed” theme of those movies 🤢
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/21 04:55 AM

The Family That Preys also has a similar plot line! Clearly he has issues with women, black women in particular I’m sure- and while I was always a fan of his movies, I’m starting to see the real pattern in them. Both of the movies you mentioned really messed me up emotionally. I’m so tired of the narrative he portrays, and I don’t think I can continue watching.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/21 04:22 AM

Damn that man is gorgeous, but his character is such a jerk. Lol
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/21 04:14 AM

“You have big feet”, “You’re tall for a girl”, “You have big hands” (in addition to the comments made by his friend, “Your hands are bigger than mine!”), “I love your tiny nipples”... those are just a few...and from just one guy 🙃 He was super short and had the tiniest penis I’ve ever seen. I was out of his league but at 21 I allowed this shit. 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/01/21 11:41 PM
19

Yeah. I was talking to a guy at one point and I noticed he was mainly following beautiful girls/Instagram models.. huge red flag. Then I posted a picture of my friends and I (I tagged them) and he followed one of my friends. 🙄 He unfollowed her I believe when he saw she had a boyfriend. I also noticed he would go back and like multiple girls old pictures to get their attention (just like he had done me lmao). Needless to say it wasn’t long before I got tired of that, and that was before FDS!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/01/21 11:36 PM

My ex tried to guilt me (and honestly it worked to a degree) into not breaking up with him because he “loved” my family so much (even though he often made fun of them), especially my uncle. SO WEIRD

My old best friend said I was so weird for buying a vibrator. She said her husband would k*ll her for having one. And I’m like yep, that’s so him... insecure as hell when it comes to pleasing his wife meanwhile he’s trying to fuck everyone else (including me🤢). She thinks the concept of a vibrator is the craziest thing ever, but in reality I think she really wants one.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/21 07:20 PM

Ugh yep. I had sex with a guy who then added me on fb (yeah I know, not my proudest days) and I saw his “in a relationship” status 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/21 06:26 PM

Damn that’s even if they tell you they have a girlfriend. Back in my pick me days hooking up I would find out in other ways, and never from the guy 🙄 I mean why would I? I don’t trust men, really. Lol

My dad had stage 4 colon cancer and my mom literally dedicated her life up until the day he died to take care of him. I’m not saying she had to do this but it’s amazing how the things we often do as women and partners without thinking twice are IMPOSSIBLE for men. I feel so bad for this poor woman and her children who are obviously traumatized by their father completely turning his back on their mother and them not really being able to do anything about it.

This reminds me of when I was 20- I was hooking up with the second guy I ever slept with (who was 30🙄) after not having sex for a long time and he was jackhammer fingering me so, so hard. It hurt but I was too afraid to speak up and I bled for a couple days after that. I actually brought it up to him some time after and he brushed it off and said, “Oh well most girls like it like that”. Yeah, ok. He compared me to other girls like that also when he said I was “too quiet” during sex. Oh I’m sorry…

I’m disgusted. And many of the comments are not much better. When he made fun of the “feminist wave” and deduced feminism to our “voluptuous boobs”? ...This guy is so uneducated and no matter what he says, he’s promoting rape. I couldn’t even finish the rest.

This reminds me of when my ex said he hoped I didn’t look like my mom when I got older. I can’t believe I didn’t dump his ass on the spot, but thinking about that now pisses me off so much. That’s my mom. I should have told him he was already looking like his dad.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/12/20 05:36 PM

Yeah it could have been! I just didn’t want him to be embarrassed if other people saw that but it wasn’t a big deal to him. And yes I agree, I’m crazy about brushing my teeth! I don’t know how he did it but I don’t know why I brushed it off back then 😂

This reminds me of my ex who used to have dry skin and earwax coming out of his ears and you could see it just by looking at him. I would tell him to clean his ears and he would get so pissed at me lol. He also came to my house one day having not brushed his teeth for two days. God.. what was I thinking? Thank God I’m not 19 and insecure anymore.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/12/20 01:56 AM

True! Just the fact that he didn’t spend a dime on his girlfriend but dropped what for many is rent money on a girl who couldn’t give two shits about him 😂. They’re delusional!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/12/20 12:56 AM
17

Ugh, I hate to say that I was that girl... I used to think it’d be crazy to think a guy would go to the “trouble” of saying such things like that. Like he must really mean it. But gosh I’m so glad I woke up. You tried to tell her, I hope she at least learned after that! :(
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/12/20 10:06 PM

There’s so many things wrong with this story. She knows about the OnlyFans and is still dating him? Also even if we ignore the fact that he’s a POS who didn’t get her a gift but gave his OnlyFans girl one, who the HELL spends $1000 for a postcard?! She needs to leave his ass before he completely drains their bank accounts for porn and OnlyFans.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/12/20 08:53 PM

I was watching the movie This Christmas and one of the daughters went to HARVARD and had a great career but her mom asked her when she was going to settle down like her sister (whose husband was cheating on her) and she said she just wanted to focus on her career. Then her mom said her career won’t keep her warm at night... ughhhhhh. She ended up finding love at the end of course lol.

I honestly had no idea about this but I’m disgusted. Junie B. Jones was my introduction into reading and what made me fall in love with reading. I had all the books, audio tapes, etc. - my little brother even read all of them after me and he has the same feelings. It’s such a shame that other children (especially little girls) aren’t able to benefit from these amazing books like we were. Thank you Junie B. and Barbara Park for having a hand in me becoming the “bossy”, strong little girl I was an…

Wow. That kind of makes it worse!! Because he should know how you feel- then again he’s not like you, he’s not like us. He doesn’t seem to have an ounce of empathy. We’re strangers but I probably care more about your healing and grieving than he ever would. He also didn’t seem to care when you explained how his words hurt you- he just brushed it off and basically said can’t you take a joke!? Men don’t want to deal with our emotions- even before my dad passed and he was just sick, there were guys…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/12/20 05:08 AM

Yeah! He was just one of many- and there were many guys who acted like they “didn’t know” about my dad passing, which is what this guy you posted kind of seems to be doing by sending you a meme like he doesn’t know wtf you just went through when he damn well does and just doesn’t care. And don’t worry, I’m not too far out of that world either. This year has really opened my eyes! The year my dad passed away was a bad pick me year for me so you’re already doing better than I did in that regard! I…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/12/20 04:46 AM

I’m so sorry. I know what you mean. It’s really disgusting that they do this, and I was really naive to it at the time. Just one example, a guy that worked with my dad and even came to his viewing tried to have sex with me. They have no limits. Just keep blocking them like you are, don’t give them the time of the day. Even the “good” ones who might not be predatory (and they’re a rarity) are probably not the best to be around, this is a time of healing and grieving that you so need.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/12/20 03:46 AM
87

This pisses me off so badly. When my dad passed away, men were nothing but insensitive and predatory towards me (surprise, surprise- how is that different from any other time). I’m so sorry for your loss, and good for you for telling him to go f himself and blocking him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/12/20 03:30 AM

Yes and then if I remember correctly he taunts her father about it. God it was such an awful movie. After over 10 years of watching it those parts are burned in my brain 🤢
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/12/20 03:53 AM

Same here, I watched it when I was 13 at of all things a birthday party sleepover!? I was so upset after watching that scene, of course I had never seen anything remotely similar to that before and it’s terrifying to know how easy it is for kids like that to watch it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/12/20 03:52 AM

It can feel gross sometimes for sure! I’ve been trying to use olive oil here lately as a moisturizer and it’s taking a bit to get used to the texture, I have to make sure not to use too much lol. But my dad had skin cancer also so that’s why I totally agree with you and that’s what I tell everyone when they ask why I don’t tan (as if early aging isn’t enough).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/12/20 08:59 PM

Why is the worst offense all of a sudden kink shaming (SUCH a stupid ass term)?? Wtf!? Not rape, child abuse, trafficking... nope... just telling a dude he shouldn’t be watching porn. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤢

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/12/20 10:51 AM

Exactly!! I mean I have sensory issues with certain things sometimes, but just with like certain clothes? As women we constantly have to deal with discomfort, they’d hate to be us for one day 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/12/20 10:51 AM
15

Lol very true! That or they never wear it and the one time they try it, god forbid they feel something different and never put it on again. They’d rather have a terrible sunburn to where they can’t move then feel something on their skin 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/12/20 02:27 AM

Ew yeah too many guys I’ve known don’t wear lotion because it makes them feel “sticky”... also why they don’t wear sunscreen. They’ll be sorry one day for that.

He doesn’t deserve a response, just an immediate block, but I’d be so tempted to write back how fucking embarrassing this is for him. But then again these dudes are not self aware at all 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/12/20 02:47 AM
2

Yeah I agree! And quite honestly I haven’t met one single man who was worth it lol! Lack of peace is such a good way to put it too- every time I drop or block a dude, I get an instant wave of comfort... it’s the best!!

It’s one thing if they want to help, but please get the hell away if you’re just trying to play around and be in the way. I like cooking but sometimes it would stress me out (especially when I would make a meal HE specifically wanted.. sheesh). Now I just cook for me, when I want to.. with nobody in the way.. just the way I like it 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I know. That’s the crazy thing, I guess I was somewhat naive in thinking he wouldn’t do that because of that but I was wrong. There’s really no limit for those types of men. And that’s so sweet! It was kind of the same for my mom too- there was actually an older man who was friends with my dad who didn’t have a lot of family so my mom would bring me and he would give me candy and soda lol and let me listen to the music I liked because he didn’t really see his granddaughter a lot. But he was a ra…

That’s the worst when they’re home. Of course we have nothing to hide but having someone basically breathing down our necks or watching us without our consent is horrible (my mom also cleaned houses for years and hated when they were home esp men). I’m sorry you had to go through that but it was definitely a blessing to be let go by people like that! I’m sure they will have a hard time keeping other cleaners and will have to clean the house themselves lol. I was also nitpicked at my last nanny j…

I’m so sorry. Men will sexualize anything won’t they? It’s bad enough we have to deal with it out in the work force but with jobs like nannying and cleaning services, we’re invited into their homes making us even more vulnerable and in danger of these pervs.

I’m not really Christian anymore but I love her using that verse from the Bible right back at her and she was speechless- but that’s a whole different conversation. As a former nanny I can sadly relate to this and I wouldn’t necessarily put it past him to put cameras in the house to watch her (speaking from my own experience).

Ugh that’s the worst. I’ve had men in the past still be in love with their exes and have no issue letting me know that. Screw all that, proud of you for blocking him on everything- it really is the BEST solution!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/12/20 08:50 PM

Gosh this makes me so sad but I completely agree. I don’t know one woman who hasn’t been either, and I had a similar convo with my mom. Hoping for healing for you and your mother 💛

Yep. They will automatically try to set up a threesome (in my experience at least, and I didn’t even say I was bi, just that I thought I might be or not completely straight). So gross.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/12/20 03:45 PM
22

I know. I can’t relate to people who are friends with their exes (I guess it depends on how the relationship ended but even then no or if kids are involved maybe- idk I’ve never been in the situation but I just don’t see it) but my exes are pretty much dead to me lol especially the ones that really screwed me over.

Oh hell no. This makes me so angry actually. And not to try to judge her but if I had only one child and she was grown and I was in my fifties, you would never ever catch me helping a man raise his young children... but maybe that’s the child free in me talking. This woman needs to run. Fast. It’s only been two years.

“I’m sorry but that’s just not going to work for me” was the first trigger point for me. This dude is creepy and seems dangerous as hell. That and he’s just delusional.

I know, it’s scary isn’t it? You never really know men. It’s happened to me more than I thought it would, finding that out. I was 17 when I started dating that guy and I didn’t think anything of it at the time- but now I feel completely different. But thank you so much 💛

I can relate. My ex did sexual things with a 15 year old when he was 20. When I found out (I was only newly 18 myself while he was 22), I was devastated and I harbored that anger and resentment for him for the remainder of our relationship which should have ended way sooner than it did. Now I’m just absolutely disgusted with him, and he habitually dates women who are in their teens when they start the “relationship”. He’s just gross but he is definitely one of many.

Ugh yeah a “busy” guy looked at me and said, “You know you’re really nice. Not me. I’m an asshole”. Very matter of fact... I still fawned and obsessed over him for like a year after that. He definitely proved it too🤦🏻‍♀️

Man this might sound like a joke and it is kind of funny, but if this isn’t the dang truth.. Men have messed me up down there more than I can count. The mediocre hook up isn’t worth the extreme discomfort from a bacterial infection or UTI that hurts so bad you feel like dying.

Yeah, I love Tamera but she definitely has her tendencies as well. I’ll never forget how they were all talking about how Eddie Murphy has 10 kids and how sexy it is that he does/that he takes care of them. Umm what??? 🥴

I totally agree! Her mom pisses me off though- her mom has been a pick me in the most dangerous way. Jeannie made a video with her talking about how when she was a young child for a few years a male cousin who was babysitting her molested her every day, and when she told her mom her mom didn’t believe her and said that her cousin would never do that. She didn’t speak to her mom for 8 years after that. I think she thinks she found a good guy in Jeezy, but him wanting to wait till 2025 proves othe…

Yep! I did like Tamar, I kind of felt like the other girls sometimes felt like they were above her or that she was not as “classy” as they were, but idk. I was kind of shocked when she was fired, but also not really. They wanted to get rid of her badly. I don’t remember a whole lot from the earlier seasons, but I do remember Tamar sounding kind of pick me when she was talking about how Vince likes lighter hair/lighter haired women so she likes to do what her man likes and that she has no problem…

Oh my gosh I just remembered that.. ew!! And I know right!? You would think at like 37 I believe? she would learn from the mistakes she made in her early 20s. I don’t even see the appeal, definitely not physical and knowing his track record.. definitely not his personality either?? I find it ironic how he’s a Christian singer and has lived his life this way lmao. I was so shocked when I read that because the way she doted on him and talked him up made him seem like a saint. Girl... no. Lol.

Oh my gosh I know right, she is my least favorite. And her raving about how she must have sex at least twice a day, and acting like her costars and other women are crazy for not having sex as much as she does (anyway girl nobody wants to imagine you having sex with Israel)... so annoying. I’m so glad I’m not the only one- when I started talking to a therapist, it was a man. He was very nice and professional but I preferred a woman, and I didn’t know if I was being rational or not. I’m so sorry you had to go through that though and I hope you’ve been able to heal from that. I completely agree though, I guess that’s why I especially feel more comfortable unloading my mental and health issues onto another woman.

This movie messed me up emotionally for a bit after watching it. I was definitely on her side. Dealing with his shit for all of those years and then of course she’s the evil, crazy one? I did not like that ending one bit.

What a misogynistic piece of crap. “No ambition, too much ambition” highlights a societal view on women pointed out in a Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie quote- the part in which she says, “You can have ambition, but not too much” (also in Beyoncé’s Flawless). Sadly he’s not the only one who thinks like that. I hope any woman who walks his way turns around and runs. This is also just another reason why I don’t care to bother with men. I’m sure men in the past have already felt this way about me, and scr…

I understand why you feel bad. I struggle with the same thing and my therapist helps me out with it. As women we’ve been conditioned to be sweet, agreeable, submissive.. So in turn we feel bad for men’s actions against US. We just have to get out of that mindset because these men know exactly what the hell they’re doing. I have a married male neighbor who has known me since I was 8 who is creepy towards me yet I for some reason felt bad when I finally blocked him on Facebook (he was always a fam…

Yep, I dated a 37 year old when I was 20 and it was truly traumatizing. It was because I had low self esteem and thought a much older guy would be appreciative of having me. I’m not short but I’m very skinny naturally and men really go after that, and fetishize me in my opinion. They always say “you’re so tiny”, “you’re so petite, I love it”, “you’re my favorite body type” (ummmm wtf???). But then the men who haven’t met me in person always assume I’m really short just because I’m smaller/skinnier, and they get really excited about that. It’s just so weird. Makes me feel like a little girl

A husband that can’t be bothered to help take care of their three kids and lots of health issues that arose when she had the second one that have only gotten worse after the third one.... And yes sometimes I feel bad but she wanted this life very badly and her mom lives the same life but with even more kids, and she puts up with her husband trying to have sex with other women (including me... yuck) & wanted me to be “pregnant with her” too... No thank you.

Yep, can relate. My best friend got engaged summer of 2018 and also doesn’t plan to get married until fall of 2021 or maybe even later. She says it’s because they’re in no rush, they’re just enjoying being engaged which is the same exact life they’ve been living (living together, raising dogs) for the last 6 years. And I also have a cousin who was supposed to get married 15 years ago and never did... but him and his fiancée are still engaged I suppose.

This reminds me of when a little or baby boy really takes to a woman or older girl and someone is like, “Awww is that your girlfriend?!” “That’s her little boyfriend” ... No, he just likes her because she’s sweet and might remind him of his mother. I always used to get this and it would creep me out. Yep. Just said yesterday that as a preschool teacher, I was constantly sexualized and fetishized by men. But then I stopped and thought about it and actually, I’ve been sexualized in pretty much every other job I’ve had also. Working as a receptionist in a car dealership with mostly men was just endless harassment, even getting comments like I got the job because I’m young and hot (not because of my great customer service skills or anything else related, just my looks).

I also dated a 29 year old when I was 21 (huge mistake) who said rude things to me like that and trust me, it’s because they didn’t/don’t respect us and only want sex. He had no problem having sex with me yet loved treating me like a child and making me feel stupid at all times, along with allowing his friends to make fun of my age. So don’t continue to do the same dumb thing I did! Block him. 😖

I went through the same thing at this age. First off, my older ex told me if I went anywhere for school farther than 30 mins, he would break up with me (should have let him). Then he would constantly make me feel bad about going to school-constantly accuse me of cheating on him and wanting to leave him for someone at school, got annoyed with me for studying/doing homework, gosh he was just a nightmare and I more than anything wish I would have dumped him after high school graduation but you live…

Also just focus on school or your career. I poured everything into a relationship with a controlling, insecure guy who was four years older than me (and had a history of dating much younger girls) and not enough energy into school and ended up getting kicked out university after my freshman year, and I had to go to community college (though nothing wrong at all with community college, I just missed my old school). I second the comments saying stay away from older men. I’m still traumatized by a much older man I was victimized by at 20. I don’t want that to happen to you or any other young woman. Also don’t feel like you need to go through a promiscuous phase, it’s not worth it and guys benefit from it so much more than you ever will.
