I actually lose a lot of people there, but there are some distinct advantages to reading Cosmo. 1) there are over 3 million subscribers, mostly women, and more who just buy off the shelf (like me)- with the amount of articles in Cosmo that are about dating advice, it's sort of like having a women's play book to dating. 2) Articles- remember that the magazine is marketed towards women and THEIR interests, so oftentimes you'll find an interesting article that gives you something to talk about with…

In December 2011, I used my Christmas colors opener on this chick, and eventually blew out the set. Valentines Day 2012, I run into her again- she knew a friend if mine, who introduced us, at which point she said "you're that guy from December who was talking about Christmas colors!" So... Some do. I #closed a girl back in April 2012- beginning in January of this year, she started working as a bartender at the same bar, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't remember me.

I would grant this if that WERE the purpose of the subreddit, but it isn't. The purpose isn't "Help everybody", the purpose is "Help those who ask for it" - This fits fully into your philosophy above - Seriously, look at how some of the other subreddits treat this one. You know what happens if you link this SR to /r/ForeverAlone? Downvoted to oblivion - Some people DO NOT WANT TO BE HELPED AND WILL WALLOW IN THEIR SELF-ADMINISTERED MISERY FOREVER. Isn't that the whole point of the subreddit? That we have the tools, we just need to utilize them? Like, humans can't instinctively do calculus, but everyone has the potential to learn how to do calculus.

You say this You could say that my issue is not with 'society', but rather by how 'society' perceives the seduction community. and you also say this: the practice of assigning girls a number is known in the mainstream (and predates the whole seduction community). and finally, you say this: Come to think of it, simply saying 'HB' even without the number would already make a huge difference following my above reasoning. So, your argument is - 1) Numbering system bad (shown in the third quote above…

You hit the issue right here: "the practice of assigning girls a number is known in the mainstream (and predates the whole seduction community). It is not just a technical term that is normal not to be understood if you didn't spend some time reading around in the community and/or a glossary of seduction lingo." This is exactly why your proposal doesn't make sense - the jargon is used OUTSIDE the community, and PREDATES the community. Picture the following - you're at a frat party, and some guy …

Man, I had written a huge response to this in the first thread from my iPhone, so here it goes again; I disagree- as an engineer and a former professional debater in college, I think jargon such as hbx is critical. 1) Efficiency- your own example bites as this- why write "her slightly less hot friend" when you can say hb8 in 21 less key strokes (average gwam in the US is 35 for moderate typists, so the difference is about 7-8 seconds). There is a reason why shorthand like "wru", "lol", and "wtf"…

1) it's incredibly obvious the author has no practical experience with the community- phrases like "this wouldn't work" or "I doubt this", even though we all know the opposite through empirical evidence. 2) I really feel this is blatant misogyny disguised as feminism. It's the same bullshit that always gets pinned on our community (ie "y'all promote a rape culture", etc), even though that's not what we're all (rather, most) about.

I've been ballroom dancing for about a year and a half, I'm 'decent' at it (enough the really wow some girls in generic club), but some of my friends have been doing it for years, and they wow me everytime. Legitimately, if you aren't going to the swing or salsa clubs that OP is going to, you can get away with mostly knowing just the basic steps and four-five moves. I was successfully hitting on girls by showing them how to tango at weddings about 2 months after I started, maybe doing it once or…

It does look like you are new, and early on, I notice a huge opportunity for improvement. Don't take this the wrong way, but at the beginning, you make excuses for not # closing (she's not my type, she was too young, etc)- you need to get out of this mindset- go for the close anyways! Helps you get in state, and if she isn't your type, just don't call her.

If she ISN'T attracted to you at this point in flirting (20 minutesish? I'm guessing), why are you wasting time on her anyways? So responding like this let's you parse her out. Edit: if she REALLY and truthfully isn't into you, she wouldn't have carried on the flirtation this far, which means you should take those responses as her just flirting back, but recognize that these responses are thus HIGHLY UNLIKELY

I read a study in Glamour magazine that 40% of women in the state of Georgia expect to never have to pay for anything on a date - this is the highest percent in the nation. If you're playing the odds, she doesn't expect you to pay.

There is nothing wrong with being direct - it's alpha, it's assertive, and it let's you quickly parse out women who are just playing games with no intention of escalating to the next level (which is a primary goal of flirtation).

Had this happen to me about 2 weekends ago, I was out with atl5659 (atlanta seddit) and we had opened a 2 set at a restaurant table - one girl started play by playing the set ("oh, atl5659 just DHV'd", "that's a neg!" Etc), we just smiled, and played it off (I think I mostly ignored it), and I k-closed the girl later, even though she knew exactly what was up and I used a line from Mystery's "The Pick-Up Artist."

I've gotten this three notable times- 1) Was with a buddy of mine at a bar, and opened a chick, and the three of us were talking, and she stops and asks us "Are you guys gay." I threw my arm around my buddy, and procclaimed in my most over the top flamboyant voice ever "OH MY GAWD, we are Soooooo gay! And we're getting married and need you to help us plan our wedding!" "Would you like to kiss me?" is Mystery's kiss gambit and one of the MOST reliable and most field tested lines in the history of PUA. It is an incredibly useful tool, and is far from being "beta as fuck", because it gives the girl no options (if she says yes, you kiss her, if she says maybe, you kiss her, if she says no, you tell her that you didn't say she could, if she says not now, you bounce to another place where you can, if she says anything else, it isn't a no so you can still kiss her).

I read in Glamour magazine that 40% of women in Georgia eexpect to not have to pay for anything on a date, and that this s the highest percentage in the United States. With respect to the topic, I don't have a helpful answer. For coffee, I always show up 20 minutes early, order my own drink, then sit down and read a book - serves two purposes; 1) the girl will want to get a drink, but won't want to directly ask you to get up, AND it'd be awkward at this point if you did, so she goes and buys her…

I wore the pants and vest from my 3 piece suit (black), a red shirt, and a red/black tie, and put some clip-on devil horns on my head. "Oh, so you're the devil?" "Nah, I'm a lawyer." 5 number closes. Back when I first started seduction, my line was the ring - if she had one, she was off limits (engaged or married) - a boyfriend didn't matter (see any of my posts on the matter). That changed about 6 months ago when I slept with an engaged woman. There's a post around here somewhere on it), so I drew the line at married, or with kids, or somewhere there. That was fine until this last weekend when I made out with a married chick wiith 3 kids whose husband is a cop, as well as a 6 month pregnant…

I'm sorry, this whole situation is stupid. You blew her off the night before, she didn't like it, so she went out and flirted with another guy? Correct me if I'm mistaken, but when we get blown off or flaked on, we don't like it, so we go out and flirt with other women. Why can't she? It's been said, but if she isn't your girlfriend, like it seems, you have no right to be pissed.

I'll pretend my phone is dead, and give her a pen and my business card and have her write her number on the back; it's sturdy, I keep a bunch in my wallet, the motion/request is natural and doesn't seem forced, and it's a subtle DHV ("my business card"). Sometimes she asks for one, so if I don't mind her having my number, I'll give it out. Just make sure when you hand it out, give it to her backside up so it doesn't look like you are bragging; it's her curiosity for her to turn it over.

Is anyone else, just, on base, irritated by the phrase "plus I don't know you well enough yet [to get coffee]." Like... isn't the whole point of getting coffee to get to know her better? I think you could agree and amplify. Something like "Yeah, I don't know you at all! Isn't it crazy that we have that kind of connection that we can just go get coffee?" I agree with your analysis though, probably a rapport issue... I think that's a really lame response though.

The problem, and the reason people won't be receptive is because not everyone is "naturally confident." Yes, if you are confident you can do anything, but telling someone to go out and "be naturally confident" is not helpul OR descriptive. This is seduction AND self improvement, and a lot of this stuff is to help with confidence; if you are already confident, you probably missed that stuff, and as a result missed on 70% of the point of this subreddit.

The ideas of cheating and faithful are relative. It is NOT my place to judge her or her relationship, and I refuse to do so. She is an adult. She can do what she wants. I'm an adult, and I love who I am and will accept my actions on face, with no regret.

Dude, this just sounds beta as hell. If her fiance were worth a damn, she wouldn't have contacted me to get together, especially since I didn't give her my number. If she were happpy in her relationship, why would she pursue me? Serious question, don't judge me til you can answer that question.

I wouldve kissed her anyways. Besides, HER relationship situation is not MY concern. If she didn't want to makeout, she wouldn't have. Hell, I made out with her on a day 2 after she added me on facebook, gave me her number, and told me to call her. She was obviously attracted to me and obviously didn't give a fuck about her fiance. So, why should I?

Yes. My 2 best friends in my city are both women. One is gay, so I could never date her anyways, but the other I'm perfectly content being best friends with. We tell each other everything, including our sexual escapades, secrets, hopes, fears, etc... It's actually kind of amazing because I have effectively an "emotional relationship" with her, and a physical relationship with all the other women I'm sleeping with that are hotter than her. It's the best of both worlds.

"I'm looking for me pot o gold!" In an Irish accent.

This mindset is beta as fuck. You don't need kino to assume attraction. Quit making excuses, realize that you are a prize, and do something. So what if she rejects you and tells her friends? There are just as many hot girls out there.

Escalate. Assume attraction.

You could preempt. Ask HER if this is a date, but I'm not sure how that would work.

I don't get it. You should be doing this anyways even if you are sober, this is pretty basic kino...

Positive. I'm a little metro. I have no natural fashion sense, so my two best friends pick out all my outfits: they are both gay. That might explain it. No idea about my wing, but if he is, no prob.

4 on a 15 bill, I'm more concerned about going high.

Haha, yeah, I sorta agree, but he's from out of town and wouldn't be calling her anyways. Plus, he gives me hell a lot for talking about seduction technique, he doesn't really buy into it, so I figured I'd give him an example.

I think it's a little different in this case, I was in serious exclusive relationships with both of them at the time.

So it's tacky, so what? AaA is a great strategy for this. Tacky doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Agree and Amplify. "Yeah, I'm the biggest mack daddy around :P " the fact that she has a winky face means it probably isn't venemous and she's kidding around, you should go the same route.

I lost my virginity last week (23) to a girl I'd gone out with a few timesm I didn't tell her until after... She wasn't pissed, but she said she'd wished I'd told her, and the sex was pretty bad. I've dated two girls who I told them I was a virgin... Both of them then refused to have sex with me because they "didn't want to take it from me". In one case, I'd already had the condom on...

Just ask her out, proceed as normal. Recognize that most high quality women will have bfs (since she is high quality), you just have to ignore it. Also recognize that you have NO idea what is going on in her life. She may be constantly fighting with her bf and looking for the next best guy... Some girls just jump from relationship to relationship like that.

Well, my favorite band is (band). I went to one of their concerts once, and it was wild! (Thread into a crazy story about my friend getting into a fight, me backing him up, and us eventually making friends with the dudes who were fighting us). Basically, change the subject to something relevent that leads to a DHV story.

Scratch that, you should probably escalate, like collect on those kisses. But do the hug/line still.

Meet up, don't escalate, about an hour in give her a hug and say "I'm glad we are just going to be friends."

I just graduated from Georgia Tech in May and moved down to Macon. I'd be willing to meet up in either city sometime, just let me know.

I lost my virginity friday night with a girl I've gone out with three times since meeting her on Valentine's Day (never wrote up a FR on this, but it was solid game). I'm 23 years old. I'm having dinner with her later this week to tell her I'm not interested in anything serious. Tbqh, losing it wasn't a huge deal to me. On a scale of 1 to 10, I gave it a 4.

Sounds like you need to escalate. Next time you see her, open with a kiss.

You SHOULD probably elucidate her reaction in the morning.

I don't know why everyone is getting up all over this guy, at no point does she say no... Hell, she smiles when he locks the door, and since this guy isn't in jail right now and woke up next to her, I don't see the issue? Call me naïve.
