You mean the gym/dermatologist/dentist? Those can actually fix your looks, not a therapist Hitting the gym once is not going to fix your problems overnight. And for some it could take a really long time. Ideally everyone would choose to delay all gratification to meet their goals, but people still struggle. Therapy/counseling would be beneficial to a lot of men on this sub

Yeah the "woe is me" comments need to go. If you think you're unattractive then go see a therapist if it's really causing that much of an issue in your head. Bitching on the sub that's all about building self confidence and bettering yourself overall is counterproductive and just unnecessary. There's plenty of things you can do to make yourself more physically attractive. The people complaining just don't want to do those things. Or they complain about things that cannot be changed (genetics). O…

I think it depends on the rapport you have with the girl. If it's a random girl you're trying to flirt with and that's all it is, "calling out" the guy doesn't really make sense. It's much better to maintain frame and not let that shit bother you. If she wants to drop all interest in you and reciprocate the chad that's trying to cockblock, let her. Doesn't mean you have to stop trying, it just means you don't need to waste unnecessary energy trying to win her over.

I mean you're right they can. But for me it's just not something I would say. I wouldn't be able to hold in laughing as I said it

Read the wiki and comments. Read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Models." They are fundamental to what this subreddit is all about. YouTube is full of shit so don't start there. Except for this. Remember that keeping your relationship "around" in your head after a breakup is feeding an addiction. If she doesn't want to talk to you then let it be. Be ok with that. Start focusing on yourself and specifically not your old relationship and you will lap all of the guys that are still stuck thinking about…

You should probably see a therapist. You're not going to find anything here that answers your questions if you cannot pursue what you like to do.

Don't get a trainer. I can't speak for the expensive, Hollywood trainers (not relevant anyway per your budget) but the basic ones at your local gym are not going to tell you anything you couldn't look up on the internet with a quick Google search. Start with your top, top goals. Lose fat, gain muscle mass, both? What timeframe? What resources (gym, weights) do you have? I've found r/fitness to be a great sub, and they have plenty of beginner guides to any goals you might have. There's a term thr…

I agree. I'd say I'm moderately physically attractive, probably like a 7. I'm under 6'0 and have a good, decent job. On paper I'm pretty average compared to all men in my large city. You'd think online dating would be a waste, but there absolutely is a formula to it without having to lie or manipulate women to believing you're something you're not. I use pictures that show a fun, exciting, and healthy life. I probably text much better than the next guy and know how to flirt really well through t…

I agree. In fact, I'd wager more domestic abuse and systemic relationship problems happen because people feel they can't leave the relationship, the very opposite of replaceable. Having someone in your life that you deem replaceable is an internal mindset, not external. It's giving and maintaining worth to yourself: "If this person at any point starts to suck, I can leave and be with another person that values me."

Abandon all dating apps? That's a little extreme. I like what you said and it's good info, but I'm sure you would agree that dating is a numbers game no matter your ultimate goal. Why eliminate a stream of potentials? You could still have day game as your primary focus, not pay for any apps, use it sparingly, and still probably get a date or two per month. I just can't get behind taking away leads especially when it's something you can do while taking a shit

You need to focus on what girls do rather than what they say. Stop wasting time trying to figure out what she means with her words. She's an emotional creature - what she may convey in one moment could change completely in the next, so don't use your logical brain or else you'll be lagging behind trying to figure out all this shit when really it's getting you nowhere; not with her specifically and especially not with any other girls. As a rule of thumb, and you'll see this all over this subreddi…

Same. I just found this by a quick search: "I spend a lot of time reading graphic novels and dissecting articles from The New Yorker. I’m afraid these are pretentious hobbies, but I hope you’ll enjoy making fun of me for them." Not every person is going to like it, but it can make you chuckle, it's non-needy, it screens for the general interests of others (intellectual type, artsy, willing to banter), and it's short & sweet. My favorite thing about it is that it's just a very general and humouro…

Yes, own it. It's who you are. Be polite, but be honest.
/r/seduction09/01/20 03:51 PM

Exactly. It's screening. OP you're probably not going to find a lot of girls that are asocial, video game players, or model kit builders (not that they have to be too, but they have to be into someone that enjoys those things), but you have to be ok with that because that's who you are. And those girls exist, you just have to find them. The worst thing you could do is pretend to be someone who likes Netflix just so you "connect" with someone, friend or romantic interest. Could you imagine waking…

Maybe not so narcissistic. The whole "am such a manly man and I pull women in to kiss me" thing is much better shown than told. At best there's no surprise when she meets you. At worst you look creepy. Not a lot of girls are looking to swipe right just because some random person says they know how to please them in "ways they can only imagine."

If you don't mind me asking, what's your job? That's the one thing in my life at the moment that I'm struggling with. It pays really well, and my future will be set, but day in and out I hate it. I'm working on a real estate portfolio right now to FIRE, and have one house down, but man that shit is slow.

This so much. Women naturally love a guy that leads with body language, assertiveness, and has a plan. Dancing is the ultimate way to convey this. The men's part of the dance is ALWAYS leading the girl, so you just follow the steps and boom you're way more attractive to her
/r/seduction14/04/19 05:02 PM

Avoid yes or no questions This is actually one of my favorite things to do, and I see good conversational and body language mirroring results with this. But, it needs to be framed in the right way. What I do is either thread through the conversation or observe the setting we are in that makes me think of something particular. Then, without warning, ask a yes or no question that leads into something of significance, importance, or would be fun/funny to say. The key is to be extremely positive and…

So was I! Then I got a little better. Now I have success sometimes. Not all the time. But sometimes. It's those sometimes that make all the difference. Get just a little better every day. It's like investing. Contribute more now and see exponential returns later.

Just be ok with her going. Sounds like you're afraid she'll cheat, and that's an inner game issue. If she does, then great you said you have other options. If she doesn't, great stay in your relationship if that's what you want.

Girls also love to check out guys very discreetly. Where I'm from, women love to check you out when you're not looking. So don't let no IOI stop you from approaching because she may just not be giving you any on purpose.

Work on learning what went wrong and why Too add to this, be careful OP. Based on his original post, he definitely seems to be focused far away from the present moment and likely is dwelling on his past consistently. There's nothing wrong with figuring out what you did wrong to avoid making the same mistakes, but it is so easy to fall back into thought loops about your ex and ways you can "win her back." OP needs to stay focused on the important parts. That being ways he could better himself for…

That was a little inappropriate for her to say that to your face, but she found it necessary to be brutally honest, which seems kind of immature. If you're in high school, shit like this happens. Don't worry about which friend, and try to maintain mature composure around her. Meditation helps a lot. It doesn't eliminate your negative emotions, but helps you become comfortable with them. This is critical for maintaining frame in seduction.

Seems like you pointed out exactly what you don't like about yourself in your paragraph. If you don't like you, how do you expect anyone else to like you? You need to start now, today. Read the intro guides and start making changes. Don't know how? Come here and ask. In the meantime, start getting out of your shell. Go on Groupon and do a trial of yoga, kickboxing, rock climbing, whatever it is. As long as your out talking to new people. Never feel sorry for yourself, don't compare yourself to o…

Surround yourself with friends, hobbies, and family. If it's your first or first few times getting rejected, it will hurt. And that's ok, because everyone feels the same. The ones who do not let rejection get to them are the ones that have openly accepted it time and time again using the same technique I mentioned. Your life isn't defined by rejection, but by your family, friends, hobbies, and career. So go do those things, and make sure you are just a little better than the day before.

Seduction is Just want to say, careful here. Seduction is different for everyone because everyone has different goals. Some people want to get married, others want a life filled with sexual experiences and obtain emotional connection elsewhere. It isn't just one way. The only thing it isn't is manipulating women, which does not necessarily mean that is what happened to have a one night stand.

Great advice. One thing to add: don't buy an ice cream! Go buy some fresh veggies and chicken and eat a healthy meal you made from scratch. Keep the positivity going. You are now approaching more girls than the average guy, healthier than the average guy, cook better than the average guy, and are closer to achieving your goals than the average guy. Positive change breeds more positive change, and the same with the opposite.

She wanted to bang you. Always assume attraction. Why do you think it was a joke? Give yourself more respect than that. Get that mindset out of your head. Walk into her god damn house with your dick out ready to bang this chick with the most confidence you can, and if at the very last minute it's all a ruse then fuck her. But I doubt anyone would waste their time with such a long, elaborate plan to barely embarrass you for 5 seconds.

Sounds like you're thinking about it too much. If I met girls that said "you have to buy her a drink" I would do what you did and make a witty comment, but if they kept pushing it or if the situation "spiraled down", welp they are not the girls I want to chill with. On to the next. If you don't usually buy girls drinks but now want to just to play a game, by all means try it. But I've never found buying a drink to be positive unless we are already both having a great time. Giving them a drink fo…

How do you do that? People never ask me anything about myself, so I always end up just interrogating them and they still don't know who I am by the end of the night. For me I don't wait for questions to talk about myself and open up. Dive right in once you find the opportunity. How do you find it? Just one example of many: Say she's talking about how she's the middle child (surface level, i.e acquaintances with you) and then stops. Not much to go with here right? Open up and immediately talk abo…

I find it better to open up first. It gives the other person or people in the conversation a sense of security knowing someone else was vulnerable first, so they don't have to take the higher risk of judgement. People are just as scared to talk to me as I am to them, so it's best to be your most vulnerable self and throw all of your greatness and flaws out there to be judged, then let the other person have the choice to bridge that connection. And if they don't like you then so what. You practic…

Great post. I do agree that you should be comfortable around beautiful women, but I remember when I started out and I read tips like that. It made me get in my head even more saying "oh shit I need to act cool and comfortable" when I actually was around beautiful girls. That became a problem. You should be comfortable around everyone! Beautiful girls, ugly girls, sketchy strangers, good friends, your boss...everybody!

Really good advice from the top comments. Some other things to take away: I fucked up You're admitting your mistakes. As long as you try to better yourself, you will be more successful than 75% of other men. Am I a retard? Do I belong on 4chan? No. Drop your ego and relax. Understand that this is not the last time you will fuck up. You won't fuck up the same way, but you'll fuck up in different ways. The key is to be comfortable with your ignorance and morph each failure into a lesson plan. Guys…

Man it's like you're me. My relationship just ended yesterday for the same exact reason. After also lurking on seddit for so long, I learned a lot on how to game, but I took it too far. It came to the point where I was very invested in our sexual relationship, but I was never there for her emotionally. Even though I thought I did, I rarely sent positive messages her way, basically IOIs for her (compliments, small gifts, spontaneous outings, etc.). It completely ruined our relationship and I feel…

Do cardio to cut down your body fat... Studies have shown that lifting weights can actually burn the same, if not more, amounts of body fat. So, the cool part is cardio isn't really required, it's just there for an extra benefit. IMO, lifting is the perfect tool. You build muscle definition while getting rid of body fat at the same time.
