That's her problem to figure out about job and home. Does she care about the kids and how it affects them being away from you? No she doesn't she is only worried about hee so don't let her take the kids

There is not such a thing of releasing anger. Accept your reality for now until you things change for the better

Just do you and share nothing. Stop over analyzing just have fun

Just go with the flow and remember if you are having a bad day it's just that. If you are done for real then remember it takes time to get used to your new reality

It's not his fault it's her fault. Accept it and move on

There is a reason why she gave you the kids willingly. If she was a nightmare during the marriage why would she be nice during the divorce. So yeah probably she has someone else but who gives a rats ass is not like it benefits you either way if she stays single or not. Just go with the flow you will get better it's just a bad day. Don't confront hee go about your day and do what you need to

Why is everyone that's going through these bad experience in their life is in such a hurry to immediately get better right away? I am glad you are doing all of these things but no guarantee that you somehow will forget or feel better about what you are going through. I would go about my day if I feel like shit than I feel like shit if I am having a ok day than just enjoy that day but at least I would not stress about not feeling better eventhough I am doing things to feel better. Just do what yo…

Why divorce?
/r/Divorce_Men14/09/23 11:29 PM

What I am saying is that there is no certain amount of time to wait before being with someone. Don't worry about rules of conventional wisdom just go with it if you want it.

/r/Divorce_Men02/09/23 09:30 PM

Whatever will happen will happen so don't put a lot of pressure on yourself. In the meantime it doesn't hurt for you to get ready like putting money aside and maybe consulting a lawyer

/r/Divorce_Men03/08/23 11:35 PM

Unfortunately yes it is manipulation of some sort. All the promises will not be kept and it will get worse. She won't be able to detach from you but also won't be able to stop herself to treat you like crap when she gets emotional and angry which I bet it's pretty often. It's hard to get away from this kind of a person
/r/Divorce_Men02/08/23 07:38 PM

You will never be able to get out and you will try and you won't be able to stay away for a long time. If you do get away you will be one of the few that did. Good luck

You have some great years in front of you and it sounds like no kids with her also you don't seem to have a problem with talking to other girls so move on. Your 30s will be shitty if you stay with her. You will know when the time is right so don't put a lot of pressure on yourself
/r/Divorce_Men16/07/23 01:35 PM

You are not even 30 so move the fuck on and live your life properly. You got time to play and to have a serious relationship later. Oh yeah don't get married again. There I'd people in here in their 50s and 60s they have to start over think about that because that's where you are headed
/r/Divorce_Men08/07/23 04:15 PM

Dude you move on. You have a child already so now you can have your child and your life. Get another business going fix your finances go date and fuck who you want and stop giving your credit card out

Just think past your vacation and being free part. Have you thought about what your day to day will be like by yourself? Also do you have a plan on how to be intimate with other people? I agree with one of the other posts don't divorce but do what you want including being with other people

You will end up cheating and divorcing. It doesn't seem like you can control yourself even if you wanted to. Do what you want in life just prepare to deal with the consequences. Feel bad for your husband but shit happens
/r/Divorce_Men04/06/23 11:37 PM
1

I don't understand why a of guys don't do this before divorcing. It's a great idea
/r/Divorce_Men01/06/23 10:49 PM
3

It sucks but I don't think there is anything you can do. If she cared about the kids and the family she would not be divorced and having a boyfriend.
/r/Divorce_Men01/06/23 03:18 PM
2

Hahaha good for you. A lot of other guys would have gone back
/r/Divorce_Men01/06/23 02:48 PM

Well said and I am sorry you had to experience this
/r/Divorce_Men01/06/23 02:44 PM

If men cheat they do it with women so yeah women cheat just as much and they get emotionally attached and break up the family

Don't feel embarrassed she should be

I think couples go to therapy because they want to come out as the person that was right and somehow the other person will straighten up
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 09:22 PM

Just take it day by day until it starts to fade. In the meantime try and keep busy hopefully date and try to do positive things
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 06:48 PM

The reason I ask is that if you did leave you don't have to pay rent I believe unless the judge makes you. You might want to ask your lawyer to see the best option but other than furniture nothing ties you to that place and yeah they can't kick you out
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 06:36 PM
2

Do you have a rental contract?

What you are experiencing is common. These kind of women don't know anything that keep a relationship calm everything with them is emotion. Sex is good ofcourse and the cooking and vacations but the day to day is terrible because they don't know how to deal with the day to day process. You need to think you are only 30 do you want a lifetime of this bull do you want to raise kids in this environment do you want to have a record because of this woman? It's like a drug if you can beat the urges yo…
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 12:10 PM

Oh man perfectly said
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 11:27 AM

All of the guys that want to divorce take the money out first these women don't play fair
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 02:00 AM

She wants her cake and her fat ass wants to eat it too. Stay on the path that you are on and get away from her
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 01:54 AM
3

That's why she does it. She gets to have you and she gets to do what she wants
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 01:37 AM
3

Of you stay away from her things will clear up. If she keeps staying with you she controls you
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 01:19 AM
5

Thats why I am telling him that he is lucky
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 01:18 AM

Than why let her stay? Get control of your life
/r/Divorce_Men30/05/23 12:01 AM

Take the 300k out of the account you brought that in so now take it back
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:50 PM

You need to stop fucking her that's what you need to do. She ll give you a disease
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:46 PM

Because in some sense he still wants her. They probably fuck too
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:44 PM

She needs professional help and maybe to be committed and watched over. Man this sucks for you
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:42 PM
2

I guess women hate losing control. I am sorry I hope you can have it resolved soon
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:40 PM
1

Why so long?
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:30 PM
6

Oh dude you are only 30. You are about to have some great years in front of you. You can accomplish lots of things and then in the mean time find that person that's all about you
/r/Divorce_Men29/05/23 11:29 PM

She sounds like every other woman that creates conflict with your family and will never admit to doing anything wrong. If you are young enough cut your loses

Hide them and stop stressing you are very young plenty of time for new memories

Insecure and controlling
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/23 08:38 PM

The dumbest reason to get divorced. Unless you are addicted but if not then it means nothing. She will do whatever she feels I don't think you can influence her decision so sit back and wait. Do you really want someone that controls you that much?
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/23 08:37 PM
6

At least you made the right decision by divorcing her. Also do yourself a favor and try not to find out anything about her
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/23 05:28 PM
2

Why are you buying her gifts when she is not even speaking to you? Don't try to make sense of her behavior just move on and take care of your kids
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/23 01:00 PM
2

Just try and be happy you owe that to yourself. When your kid grows up some more he will seek you out he is just in thar kind of age as far as your wife you said it separate bedrooms seems like everything is gone between you two

Just because of communication? That sounds like an bullshit excuse that she gave you. Women want their man to medicate themselves and go to therapy so they can hold it over you that something is wrong with you
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/23 02:34 PM
2

Man just go with the flow, too much thinking involved. She makes you happy and you don't have to marry her so be in the moment and enjoy it
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/23 02:03 PM
2

Counseling will not give you the answer or fix your marriage. If you leave you have a rough road ahead. If you divorce you will go through small ups and very big downs in the end you will be better without her if you can endure the heartache and if you have a plan for the future
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/23 01:55 PM
1

She doesn't want to talk to you for a big reason like she has someone in her ear telling her not to. Don't email her anything she can use against you but you can try to reach her through friends or family or go to her job like most women do.
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/23 01:30 PM
2

Sell the house and blow all that money on yourself and give her nothing and file for bankruptcy and she can go and fuck herself
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/23 01:14 PM

Fuck that sucks $4500 a month I don't even make that before taxes and she just gets that without lifting a finger. The alimony system sucks you didn't give birth to her you are not her father why should you pay alimony. Anyway I hope you don't have to pay it for a long time

/r/Divorce_Men22/05/23 02:18 PM

Don't stress about it even if you are focused on it when the time comes you will know. She will give plenty of opportunities to say fuck it I am out
/r/Divorce_Men22/05/23 01:36 PM
1

Why is she telling you everything and why are you asking? Does she get off on hurting you? Now my suggestion is that you start going out with someone younger and preferably someone that has no kids that will ease the pain and yeah kick that bitch out she isn't your wife anymore. Let her get fingered on the regular since that's what she wants
/r/Divorce_Men22/05/23 01:29 PM

All man pretty much used to be nomads and conquerors but women made them settle in the same place to help them raise and protect the children. Then they came up with marriage that gave women more and more security and control which women love especially the spiteful, entitled, lazy and mean spirited ones.

Whatever the reason is it doesn't matter anymore she has made a decision so what matters now is that you don't get screwed with alimony and custody
/r/Divorce_Men20/05/23 02:23 AM

Dude you are 33 start dating a 25 year old. You can upgrade she will be the one to downgrade she ll get a 50year old or worse
/r/Divorce_Men19/05/23 07:12 PM

Grownups don't have best friends. If she was your best friend it was only one sided. Deal with the situation in front of you v losing your best friend
/r/Divorce_Men19/05/23 01:10 PM

Why would you end up homeless you work and make 70k rent a place and move on if that's what you want. It doesn't look like you have kids and she makes more than you so no alimony. No property to separate so you are clear
/r/Divorce_Men19/05/23 02:01 AM
2

The reason you want her back is because she doesn't want you right now. 7 months married you can have an easier divorce than most. Hook up with some hot nurse to ease the pain. You are very young don't waste your youth by being sad over someone that clearly doesn't feel the same way about you
/r/Divorce_Men19/05/23 01:44 AM
1

Fuck her do what you want
/r/Divorce_Men18/05/23 07:59 PM
2

Stop fucking paying her bills. If you pay her bills for 5 years you will be bankrupt. Stop paying immediately fuck the credit you can build it up later
/r/Divorce_Men18/05/23 07:46 PM

Don't let her. Would she let you if you took them to your new woman's place?
/r/Divorce_Men18/05/23 07:31 PM
1

Think like a woman when it comes to divorce. File when ready and have her removed from the house. Don't confront her or she ll have you removed
/r/Divorce_Men18/05/23 07:22 PM
5

Then what? What happens when she gets a new boyfriend and he abuses your kids and you are not around?
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/23 09:32 PM
1

If you agree then don't waste money on a lawyer. Sounds pretty straightforward. Let her get her rv and call it a day. In Florida rarely alimony gets awarded
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/23 05:04 PM
1

Why are you wanting to divorce are there any other issues except that she doesn't want to work? You not only have to consider the financial hit but also your emotional well-being. At 59 do you know what your life will be like post divorce? So before making the decision consider everything and in the mean time start preparing just in case like put some money away
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/23 04:56 PM
-2

That's a fucked up thing to say. He is wanting to fight for 50% custody
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/23 12:58 PM
2

If you leave it should not be because of your inheritance it should be because that's the only solution of your situation. No matter what you hear from people you will do what you think is appropriate. I hope you have an idea on what your life will look like after divorce because if you don't you will regret the decision. Our minds play tricks on us where we kind of forget the bad times just remember the good times
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/23 12:54 PM
1

Don't move out especially if you own the home or even if you rent. You ll get stuck with double bills for a long time. Make her life a living hell and she can leave

Don't compromise if you feel is not right for you

/r/Divorce_Men15/05/23 11:31 AM

You are right it does reward the losers that have no self respect and take care of their own selves. Anyway if I was in that situation I would find a way to pay her nothing even if it means that I would off the grid
/r/Divorce_Men15/05/23 02:05 AM

Dude just go about your day everyday. Get up in the morning and do you and whatever you please. The only reason you feel this way is because she moved on. Remember you were getting divorced for a reason
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/23 03:03 PM

Buddy you just described the majority of the women out there. Just make sure to have an exit plan and also make sure you don't go back. The rest get a lawyer and let them guide you through it
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/23 04:07 PM

Just think that she is not worth it for you to go through this. It's your life and yours only

End it is not the solution. Move somewhere remote get a cash job and stop paying the bitch. 5k a month wtf. Live off the grid
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/23 01:51 PM

If she wants to separate you can't make her stay. Look after yourself and your kids and put on her to make the decision and keep looking forward
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/23 01:46 PM
2

Do you want to pay child support for 3 kids so you can get laid on the regular? You will need to consider everything including that someone else will raise your children
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/23 01:34 PM
4

Ask her and yourself what changed that all of a sudden she wants you back? Maybe she tried whats out there and didn't like it Maybe she is older and the quality of guys for her is not like you. Also more importantly how will she be for the future? Past behavior is a great predictor of the future
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/23 12:39 PM
1

You should get child support that's the agreement
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 03:08 PM
2

Do not leave. Once you are out you stay out and she controls everything
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 02:18 PM
3

Wow that's a lot there and you guys are having another kid. It's a tough situation. I personally would wait till the other kid is born and I would work on myself get a better job make sure not to drink put some money aside and work on yourself confidence
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 12:51 PM
1

Yeah women come back right away if they didn't have someone else. She left because she had him. It always sets you back once you find out the ex is seeing someone new. You got off easy no cs no alimony. Imagine if she was getting him gifts now with your alimony
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 10:59 AM
8

Don't catch an std. You are young live your life and find someone better eventually. These type of relationships don't work sex only makes you feel worse. The reason she left is that she probably had this other guy.
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 10:53 AM
0

Look do the test and get rid of any responsibility for that child as far as being in his life do what feels right to you if he is not yours. Move on from this bitch and start a real family at some point
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 10:14 AM
1

As long as they agree together and she honors it
/r/Divorce_Men08/05/23 05:39 PM
1

If you don't have kids and it doesn't look like you own the home get out now the verbal abuse will not get better plus you are the only one working
/r/Divorce_Men08/05/23 04:22 PM
1

Women need men but they figured a way through the institution of marriage how to use men even if they divorce. They are entitled to everything a man has worked is working for and will work for. So they set themselves up nicely for the future then they fuck other guys while using their man's money
/r/Divorce_Men08/05/23 03:45 PM
1

That's a good idea
/r/Divorce_Men08/05/23 12:46 PM
1

I hope you aren't doing because deep down you want her back
/r/Divorce_Men08/05/23 12:40 PM
5

Why be scared? You are divorcing nothing else to lose in that relationship. Step up and take care of you
/r/Divorce_Men08/05/23 12:23 PM
3

This is written by a woman
/r/Divorce_Men07/05/23 08:47 PM
1

Give her nothing. The property overseas she can't touch
/r/Divorce_Men06/05/23 07:31 PM
1

You got a fucked up situation on your hands. I would leave and make her believe it was her decision to have you leave so that she doesn't place a dv charge on you. If you leave don't ever go back. If you fight with her son you will be arrested so leave
/r/Divorce_Men06/05/23 06:38 PM
1

Do you have a plan of what life will be like for you after divorce? Realistic plans
/r/Divorce_Men06/05/23 02:39 PM
4

Good advice. He has to consider what being alone looks like at his age. Will he find someone else that's going to make him happier?
/r/Divorce_Men06/05/23 02:35 PM
3

Divorce. It doesn't look like you have a choice anyway she left. Keep the house and go for the throat fuck the therapy. You don't need therapy to set boundaries. Women should know you can't sext other people no therapy needed for that
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/23 08:25 PM
2

So obviously something is not right. If you feel it that's not right then go with it and change it if you can but like I said don't put a lot of pressure on yourself
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/23 04:29 PM
2

I wouldn't let her even in my parking space. The entitlement and control issues they have. She is an uber driver wtf is it with the high standards
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/23 01:00 PM
6

If you want to be happy and move on stop talking to her. If you want to not be happy keep talking and hope
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/23 12:41 PM
2

I am sorry I shouldn't have said that. It's a difficult time we have all been there. What makes us men is the ability to overcome tough situations. So don't put to much pressure on yourself and try and resolve your situation so that you don't stay in limbo. I am sure one way or another you will figure it out
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/23 02:10 AM
17

How do you know you have a high libido if you have had sex 20 times in 13 years? If you want to feel wanted then yeah you need to divorce. You can't make someone want you by talking about it. Would you want her to force herself to have sex with you? So the answer is clear leave or start having random sex
/r/Divorce_Men04/05/23 09:02 PM
2

She wants out also on top of the cheating. If she did not fuck that guy that night she wanted to. That's why she doesn't want children she wants out
/r/Divorce_Men04/05/23 02:22 PM
5

Honestly you have the right idea. I hope it helped
/r/Divorce_Men03/05/23 09:52 PM
1

There is no recover but if you fix your life with time the pain will lessen. Look to the future she wants to be with a gangster let her.
/r/Divorce_Men03/05/23 08:11 PM
7

Be yourself and live in the moment and don't compare relationships
/r/Divorce_Men02/05/23 08:16 PM
1

Do what you feel is right for you. At the time that the decisions get made they are the right decision no way for us to know if we will regret it. Do what's right for you now forget about her feelings or what the future looks like.
/r/Divorce_Men02/05/23 01:09 PM
2

Just don't do anything that you feel is not right for you right now. Don't give in to her demands
/r/Divorce_Men02/05/23 11:02 AM
1

Find someone that you can work with directly for the most part not someone that takes you forever to get a hold of. Ask questions on the amount of time that they will spend on your case plus see if they actually listen to you
/r/Divorce_Men01/05/23 02:50 PM
3

Go on a long driving trip and keep busy. Oh and start dating yourself
/r/Divorce_Men29/04/23 11:41 AM
3

You have one of those volatile marriages either you are fighting or making up. It's very hard te get away from that it takes mental strength. You go back most likely you will regret it plus she might not want you back and the rejection you won't handle well
/r/Divorce_Men27/04/23 06:03 PM
9

No such thing as a guy friend
/r/Divorce_Men26/04/23 12:47 PM
1

Man that sucks. I hope you have some family and friends to help you out
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/23 08:21 PM
4

They are the devil well said
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/23 08:19 PM
2

Yeah women say shit like that but actions show different. We can't control what life is going to be like sometimes. I always say what will will happen no matter what. You have a chance now to redo things
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 08:48 PM
2

You got to create another revenue stream. Put up some work upfront then you get another paycheck. A lot of people invest lots of mutual funds you can invest in. You have some time in your hands now make the best of it
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 08:31 PM
1

Look start by resting find a way to get some rest and some solid food. Your brain needs nutrients. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Take a little time and you will see things much clearer
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 08:25 PM
2

So take this as a sign. If you want kids and a family stop wasting time with her. It's a blessing in disguise
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 07:42 PM
2

If there was no alimony awarded to these women they would not divorce. They want what they want but don't want to work for it
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 07:38 PM
1

All relationships have some issues. Some people make it work but it takes 2 not just one making all the compromises
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 07:32 PM
1

Why didn't you kids with her?
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/23 07:30 PM
1

Why give a fuck now? Move the hell on and do good for you. If you keep thinking these thing you'll be stuck in misery for a long time
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/23 10:08 AM
1

Just divorce her and move on with your life and if you can pretend she doesn't exist
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/23 11:26 AM
7

There is always someone else
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/23 09:47 PM
3

Just don't marry this one
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/23 09:44 PM
1

This take the high road work on yourself bull will leave him sad and lonely
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/23 09:42 PM
1

Why the secrecy? If you want to divorce you tell her and do it
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/23 07:43 AM
2

You are describing almost all women with your post. That work on yourself advice not sure what it means. You are good the way you are. I would make sure to have someone else before separating. If you have someone else it will make the transition easier. If you just divorce after being with someone for so long your mind will play tricks on you. A lot of us struggle immensely because we weren't used to live alone for a long time. Women move on quickly and there is a reason for that
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/23 05:44 PM
2

You should be petty but be petty to that lying cheating bitch
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/23 11:01 AM
1

Reach out to your family and talk to them
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/23 10:51 AM
1

Run for your safety
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/23 10:49 AM
3

It seems like you are well off financially that's why she is suing you. It's bullshit and I hope the judge sees that. These women they can never have enough
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/23 07:59 AM
5

Focus on finding a place to live before worrying about a cheater
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/23 09:52 PM
2

Why is that so important to her? It sounds like a trap so be careful
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/23 09:50 PM
2

That 45k is gravy for her and her new life. The fairness for the divorce doesn't seem fake she wants to get our for a reason
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/23 09:48 PM
16

I agree this is tough to read. I hope she doesn't go back to him. She will save him in the long run if she doesn't go back to him
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 10:59 AM
3

It's not about her anxiety she just wants to control you. Look she is giving you a 2 hour a week permission wtf is that
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 07:58 AM
2

Do what a woman does get an emergency tro and kick her out of the house till you divorce
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/23 07:30 AM
1

You slide between her legs here and there and call it a day
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/23 11:58 AM
1

This is why some men cheat
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/23 08:06 AM
1

If she is not cheating and it's only the spending issues I would try and get that under control before you decide to divorce or not
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/23 08:04 AM
3

So the way you describe is that you will be much better off without her. Who wants thar kind of a person in their everyday life. Let the other dude deal with her he'll be posting on reddit soon enough
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/23 07:55 AM
0

Best to tell that lying cheating bitch what she is every morning when she wakes up
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/23 07:50 AM
3

Offer nothing. Ask for child support. Imagine if she had the kids you would have been screwed. Fuck that she deserves nothing especially since she treats the kids bad
/r/Divorce_Men29/01/23 06:42 AM
14

Women take 0 responsibility for any of their actions
/r/Divorce_Men28/01/23 09:33 AM
1

There is no real answer to your question. You just got to accept it and make a decision just like you do in day to day with the cooking and cleaning etc. You can try to understand but nothing will make sense. So you have all the information as you shared based on that information make a decision and move on with your life otherwise you will drive yourself crazy oh and yeah take care of yourself
/r/Divorce_Men27/01/23 08:52 AM
2

Let her go and keep the kids and everything else. DO NOT offer her 50 50 you will regret when she changes her mind later. You can't make someone want to do the right thing. Look after your daughters and keep your job. Let her go back home and she ll stay there for a month and run back to you
/r/Divorce_Men27/01/23 08:44 AM
2

Refuse alimony if you can. You don't need to offer her any alimony. Division of assets is tough but I believe alimony and cs is worse because it's on going
/r/Divorce_Men27/01/23 08:36 AM
1

He wants one of them bitches that have blown and have fucked everyone possible. He wants one them to raise his kids
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/23 09:40 AM
1

Best divorce you can have. She can't really get shit from you even cs or alimony payments will be minimal
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/23 09:24 AM
4

Dude unless you want to switch teams and are gay do not divorce this woman create your family and move forward don't be fucking stupid. Do you want a fucking narcissist that will ruin your life?
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/23 06:33 PM
3

My advice is for you to finally enjoy your peace and quiet and live a good quality life
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/23 09:08 AM
2

You can't be anyone else but yourself. It's exhausting trying to constantly please someone else. You don't need to please her and change yourself while she can just chill and be herself. This is what women do make you promise them a lot of things so they can hold it over you forever. Let her go if she comes back then you do it in your terms if that's what you want
/r/Divorce_Men22/01/23 07:17 PM
2

If you have considered suicide it is time for you to the fuck out of that marriage
/r/Divorce_Men22/01/23 07:12 PM
2

What happens if you go get that blue collar job? Can you go back to court and modify your alimony?
/r/Divorce_Men22/01/23 07:08 PM
1

Sometimes we have tunnel vision and we focus on splitting up and divorcing so make sure that's what you really want. Once you file then things get ugly there's no coming back
/r/Divorce_Men21/01/23 07:21 PM
1

That's the problem with dealing with a difficult ex not only you have to deal with the bullshit but you can't actually have a good relationship with your current partner. I would not share anything with current partner I would a least keep that part just for you and her not talking about your ex
/r/Divorce_Men21/01/23 09:45 AM
10

Record everything and get a different attorney. Is there a reason why you can't see your kids other rgan video? So she is after money since she wants you to pay fir for the internet surprise surprise
/r/Divorce_Men21/01/23 09:43 AM
7

I am sorry I don't mean to be an ass I understand that a lot of sacrifices are made from the men just that cheating is a big deal
/r/Divorce_Men20/01/23 06:16 PM
3

Other than having affairs you are a good damn husband. This made my day
/r/Divorce_Men20/01/23 06:11 PM
2

Look man you know your wife more than anyone. I am sure people change while divorcing but if you think you can have an amicable divorce go for it
/r/Divorce_Men20/01/23 10:12 AM
2

Lol
/r/Divorce_Men19/01/23 09:17 AM
1

Are you for real with this bullshit
/r/Divorce_Men19/01/23 09:17 AM
2

You are only 32 and you don't seem to have kids. You have time to do whatever you want. Good thing you are divorcing now v 10 years later. Enjoy your time and you can meet someone new at some point and enjoy life
/r/Divorce_Men19/01/23 08:07 AM
2

Take a breath and relax for a second. Go out and do something for yourself and the decision will be made. You have tunnel vision right now and the divorce thoughts are consuming you. You also got to think about what life will look like after divorce how do you plan on being happy? Can you live by yourself everyday? Do you plan on meeting someone new?

What guilt?? Before she met you were you providing for her no you weren't so now that you are divorcing you have 0 obligations to her. Once she starts talking to you about you being responsible for her just hang up
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/23 02:02 PM
1

You are wrong to make that comment. Would you be ok with your partner talking to her ex all the time? Have some common sense
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/23 10:43 AM
2

No I would not be ok with that. It seems like he is still emotionally attached to her. Either he cuts her off or you cut him off.
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/23 10:40 AM
2

Make your plan protect yourself and file for divorce. You ain't got to tell her shit
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/23 07:56 AM

Having a clear head is better

The cat loves you now for getting rid of your ex
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/23 07:50 AM

Nope
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/23 07:45 AM

How did you two meet? What made you marry her? Other than financially what kind future do you see with her? Even if you divorce her now you will regret it anyway especially if everything is going good
/r/Divorce_Men17/01/23 07:45 AM

Force your to do good things for yourself even changing your wardrobe or going out or go on vacation and tell yourself that how life it's supposed to be doing nice things for yourself
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/23 11:18 AM
2

All men when it comes to their relationships should think more with their dick and not worry much about these women's emotional issues
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/23 11:15 AM
6

Just know this guys that if you move forward with your life and make a better life than before they will struggle more than we do. Women hate the man that shows little emotion when they separate and the man that is happy with his choices
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/23 11:11 AM
2

Stop giving her excuses for her post trauma. Fuck that I know it hurts because she is already talking to someone but move on dude she will not change and things will get worse for you
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/23 09:40 AM
3

I would walk away even if she had a magical pussy. She is not even fucking you just drop the divorce news on her lap and let her scramble and find another man to take care of her bullshit and deal with her kids. Get out now before she ruins you worse financially
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/23 09:37 AM
0

No you won't feel like this forever you will be much better. The rest of your life is what you make it. You don't want another woman now but you will and you will find someone better for you
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/23 09:32 AM
1

You being alone in that house will be your new reality and you will get used to it. You as the rest of us will go through the steps and stages but eventually you will be better off
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/23 09:30 AM

Hopefully you won't get screwed to bad financially since you don't have any kids with her. It seems like you have to start over again but you will be better off
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/23 09:27 AM
1

Isn't that exciting to you not knowing what life looks like? You are young you get a second shot at having a better life now. Just do the right things for yourself and life will be much better
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/23 09:22 AM

Teach them to contact you and the police if necessary. Teach them about their own safety
/r/Divorce_Men14/01/23 07:46 PM

Ain't that some shit he has more access to your kids than his own. That being said I don't think you can make her do anything. Hopefully when you drop your kids off you can meet him but you are in a no win situation so be careful. This is what men have to deal with the courts say hey a stranger has more access to your kids than you do
/r/Divorce_Men14/01/23 07:45 PM

All these women are the same
/r/Divorce_Men13/01/23 12:08 PM

Women give you plenty of chances to just drop the news. Just wait till she goes nuts on you and drop the D word
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 11:47 PM

If it feels normal then it's normal. You want to be close to your kids then do it and after the divorce you will have your share of the custody
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 09:06 PM

She had it planned out that's why she moved you out of state. Look out for yourself and your kids because your wife is gone. It sucks but you can't make her want you. It doesn't matter if it's fair or not. Go through this divorce and move on with your life. It sucks because you are in a place all by yourself but you are a man and a man takes care of everything

Most states are no fault so she shouldn't be able to have an advantage because you stepped out of the marriage. Get a lawyer and go for what's yours
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 07:39 PM

It should be pretty straightforward split the house and move on
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 07:29 PM

Tell her to take all her animals and get the fuck out. You ll be better off without so many animals in the house
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 07:25 PM

I would prefer surrogacy and raise my kids my way and yes they would be my kids and my kids only

Married man should have never gotten married if they wanted to accumulate wealth
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 06:47 PM

Isn't that amazing that he has been raising her kids for a long time and she treats him badly. She should be treating like a king to show appreciation
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 06:38 PM

Good advice
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 06:36 PM

I would ask what is she willing to do to make it work? Also she can't want the marriage but blame you and treat you badly
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 06:34 PM

Raise your kids and be a good dad that's important. They got to keep you pretty busy. Imagine if she took the kids and you had no wife and no kids and no money

Sounds like you have a good wife. Why fuck that up?
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/23 09:59 AM

Life will happen for you and you won't be able to control a lot of it. Marriage doesn't have to ruin your life. Be with someone that just wants to be with you the rest works itself out
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/23 09:55 AM
1

How about you don't put so much pressure on yourself and live your life. If she wants divorce then fuck it divorce her ass but in the meantime just be in the moment and live your life
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/23 09:48 AM
1

Be safe above all. Get a place for the time being and after that take the neccessary steps to get away from her. It sounds like you don't have any kids so you should stay way from her
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/23 09:25 AM
2

The way you describe it is that even if there were no fights with lack of intimacy why stay in that relationship why not just divorce and look for someone new and better. Your marriage will not get better so get out now. One of these days you will be arrested
/r/Divorce_Men10/01/23 10:38 AM
3

It sounds like your divorce could be a lot simpler than most. Not married for long and no children together plus you had your home prior to getting married. If you file now you might have minimal expenses
/r/Divorce_Men10/01/23 09:01 AM

You will go through these down moments especially once everything is finalizing. Just remember she cheated she would do it again given the chance. You are much better off

Other than going out and having fun what else do you plan to do with your life? Going out it's fun and all but you coming home to a empty house it's not fun. Can't you have your wife and go out on your own and then go home to her?
/r/Divorce_Men08/01/23 03:46 PM
3

I would not divorce till she finds a job. You will get screwed with alimony. Force her hand don't give her money for anything. Pay the house bills and nothing else. Let her figure out her cellphone her personal expenses and hopefully she ll go and get a job
/r/Divorce_Men08/01/23 08:31 AM

He is back with his ex probably or he really is not that into you

/r/Divorce_Men07/01/23 05:29 PM

Let her pay for it
/r/Divorce_Men07/01/23 02:13 PM

You can't make this shit up honestly. Why is this man in your house? Tell that bitch to take him and go train somewhere else for good and never come back. Why are you paying him? Unreal what some people put up with. Sorry man nothing against you but don't let her push you around like this
/r/Divorce_Men07/01/23 08:17 AM
1

I know you are in the middle of some absolute bullshit right now but breathe and stick to your plan. Keep fighting and don't give up. Be selfish and emotionless when it comes to making your decisions. It will be over at some point. Go take a walk do some shopping make some food. Take a small break.
/r/Divorce_Men06/01/23 08:51 AM

You are trying to make sense of it while she is just chilling and being herself by doing whatever she wants
/r/Divorce_Men05/01/23 07:59 AM

Treat the situation like a bad employee and ask where does she think she stands in the marriage without contributing
/r/Divorce_Men05/01/23 07:52 AM

Don't get robbed
/r/Divorce_Men05/01/23 07:30 AM

/r/Divorce_Men04/01/23 06:45 PM
3

Take a page out of her book and start working less too. You can get a doctor's note too and the alimony payment will be less. A lifetime of alimony is insane so maybe you need to take some drastic measures
/r/Divorce_Men04/01/23 08:31 AM
3

It's the fucking lawyers that love that family law money
/r/Divorce_Men03/01/23 08:18 PM

Oh wow man I am sorry. You make some painful but true points. We do tie our lives together and then it's hard to see a future without the other person
/r/Divorce_Men03/01/23 03:55 PM

You are still young you can have it all again and next time you will be protected
/r/Divorce_Men03/01/23 08:14 AM

Why do you want to stay friends? Why are you divorcing? It seems like you want to keep her in your life for some reason but also you want to split. Make that's what you want otherwise you will regret splitting up
/r/Divorce_Men02/01/23 09:15 AM
2

It seems like you only have one problem which is custody, because looks like you have made up your mind about the divorce.
/r/Divorce_Men01/01/23 04:58 PM

Wtf she gets 4 different attorneys and she is asking for you to pay the fees? I would look at her attorneys and say hey good luck collecting from me
/r/Divorce_Men31/12/22 10:27 PM
16

You get your life back. Live it your way
/r/Divorce_Men31/12/22 10:23 PM
1

Small price to pay since she doesn't want alimony
/r/Divorce_Men31/12/22 06:23 PM
7

Go for what you want. Don't even discuss it with her. If I was you I would go for primary and really fuck with her head
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/22 09:01 PM
1

Give her nothing and tell her you need the money for when you create a new family with a new woman
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/22 06:06 PM
12

Get a lawyer asap. If she doesn't lie apparently she steals. Oh and if she has not gotten her citizenship I would definitely not help her there either
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/22 11:08 AM
1

When your insurance renewal comes up take her off of it and just have insurance for you and your kids only
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/22 06:40 AM
5

Now you have to go and spend money to defend yourself because she wants to lie. What kind laws are these? Women would do anything to get free shit everywhere they can even lie and fabricate all kinds of shit. Good luck and don't give her a fucking thing
/r/Divorce_Men30/12/22 06:36 AM

Don't get into a fight and get a DV charge also don't bring anyone new to the house
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 08:11 PM

/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 07:07 PM

I am curious about your decision if you really are going to leave?
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 06:56 PM
2

You can move back to the states and build your life. At least she won't ruin you financially
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 06:51 PM
11

You now have to find new purpose and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Find someone that's loyal
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 05:36 PM
17

Can't make this shit up. Good lord a whole bunch of drama that results being sued and divorced. Cut your loses and move on it sounds like you don't have kids together. Even if you reconciled you won't forget the cheating
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 05:31 PM
15

When a woman has made her mind up she gets stuck on it. If she is telling you she is done all you can do is to let her go. If she at some point wants to come back that's when you got to make a tough decision. Right now just tell her "whatever you want "
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 03:08 PM

It's probably a hack
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 10:39 AM

Congratulations and enjoy your new life. All of a sudden everything is possible again and you can have whatever you want without worrying about someone else trying to make you miserable. Before marriage we have hopes and dreams now you have that make the best of it for yourself
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 09:50 AM

All the fights and arguments that lead to us divorcing keep us focused on the negatives and after comes the divorce and then we focus on the divorce to get it over with. After the divorce is final and we no longer have to deal with it we reflect and seem to forget those bad feelings that got us divorced. You will feel bad sometimes now but you have to find something else to focus on in oder to move forward. A lot of people start dating or pick up a ton of hobbies to keep busy. Cut contact direct…
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 09:47 AM

Looks like you got a lot going on kid ex and new relationship on top of your career that's a lot to juggle. Just as you feel a little jealous she probably feels the same. It could be way worse she could be the only one dating and that would suck much worse. As far as your new relationship enjoy and don't make it your end all be all. Be careful and slow down some
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 08:12 AM
7

It's her new man telling her to do that. She probably got one of the jealous ones that drives her crazy
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 09:48 PM

That's why it might be worth it for him to wait. He can learn from your experience
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 05:00 PM

That comment is right good for you that you didn't go and do something stupid like getting married
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 08:55 AM
2

You might want to wait a couple of years and your oldest will be 18 plus during this time you can make some moves to start stashing some cash away and be better prepared for divorce. Why are wanting to divorce anyway?
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 08:49 AM
1

It's because we take the moral high ground. When women complain about us literally to everyone they are setting the ground work to always make us look like the bad guy but in fact they are the bad ones. People should see right through their bullshit. Women are insecure as shit and they feel better by talking bad about everyone else and the husband gets the worst of it. If a woman really married someone horrible doesn't it make her look stupid for making a bad choice?
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 08:26 AM
2

It's not about being selfish I believe if you get some things to go your way you might not feel as bad later plus you don't want to get stuck with payments for years to come or lose everything you have worked for
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 08:16 AM

Heart disease and other health issues aside, the problem with drinking is that once it wears off it will make you feel worse than before. I hope it's a short term coping mechanism you are using. Don't let you ex know that you are drinking she might use it against you
/r/Divorce_Men28/12/22 08:13 AM

It's the memories and other financial and emotional investments. People always say that because they in their mind if they made a different choice or had chosen someone else the outcome would be what they hoped for

When you get divorced you are like you you were in your 20s just have fun with no expectations, so keep meeting new people until you find someone that feels right. You got nothing to lose really have fun and if you find someone nice you know what to do

What you need to do is listen to that little voice in the back of your head. You already know what the right thing to do is just man up and go to your partner and voice it out. We don't have to make mature manly decisions 24 hour of every day but when time comes you need to step up and say and do what you think it's right. You posted in this sub for a reason, you already knew the answers you would get so walk up to partner and say hell no I am not getting married and sign a bad contract as long …

Listen to this. All men need to do the smart thing and protect themselves just as women take care of themselves by demanding marriage. Good for you I love hearing stories like this

Everything that I control in my life works because I do what's required and it works out. Now on the other hand marriage you can do all the proper steps and bend over backwards and then some and it doesn't work because the other party is unreasonable and has no clue most of the time. So if you want to love you can if you want a family make sure that you are in charge otherwise someone else will raise your kids because if the laws that are in place. You got one life to live don't compromise shit …

Well a lot of boys get raised by single mothers that their entire lives tell them that men are shit. Every time my mom had an issue with my dad she unloaded on me on how messed up he was and how men are just horrible creatures. My dad has been a slave to her needs and 45 years she still treats him like shit

Women really achieve a lot in life. They get to try and fail at a lot of different things. They try different careers different hobbies try to be a housewife try to be a good mother and most of them fail at pretty much everything. They really enjoy a lot more freedom than man ever do. They get to do what they when they want. In the end they find out that still they are not happy and leave the marriage and still get rewarded by the courts. All of these things happen because of us men. We get scre…

Depending on your age some testosterone replacement therapy would do wonders for in many different ways. You will feel like you were in your 20s. And stop telling you new woman that you are having issues because of the old one. If I got a new woman in my life that could not perform for me because of her ex I would feel like shit. So do everything you can to get out of this funk

Live your life your way. When we are children we want to grow up and have freedom then once we grow up we have this woman that we call wife that we support financially emotionally telling us what to do or not do. We get up in the morning and we have to abide by everyone else's rules. Speeding rules work policies and then wife's rules and demands when are we really free when we die. Fuck that do what you want live your life as you only have one

Don't say I don't give a fuck and use your head. 3 kids and alimony unless you have a unlimited supply of money. You will get screwed and your new relationship will not survive if you can't support it
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 12:36 PM

Run run run
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 12:23 PM

And women get alimony and cs and it counts as income if she wants to apply for credit but she pays zero taxes. The lawmakers that came up with these laws must have a bunch of pussies
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 12:18 PM
1

Is she paying you cs? If she isn't then how dare she ask for money? Since you have temporary full custody that should not change. You are running out of money but you got to make it work for now and it will be over
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:35 AM
2

I don't live in Canada but honestly how dare she tell you not to go to your home where your stuff as and you pay the bills. I would personally go there and get whatever I want. The audacity of these women is unreal no matter the situation they just like to control everything. Fuck that go get your shit
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:31 AM
2

Everyone reacts different to big changes. I am not sure what would be ideal reaction for you? Anyway she is probably doing what's best for her as you should do what's best for you. You are divorcing so start training yourself not to worry about her and what she is doing
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:14 AM

No have a family and cohabitate v getting married and have the state in your relationship. Why can't he just find someone that wants to be with him unconditionally
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 10:49 PM

Good for you that finished your degree. Lots of similar stories to yours and mine but we live and we learn
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 08:42 PM

I understand it is tough but you owe it to yourself to be in a good place. As long as you try and move forward and build a better life you hopefully will feel much better. She was someone you used to know and nothing else
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 08:11 PM

I hope young guys are reading this
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 07:44 PM

I get it we get fed a bunch of bullshit on what we are supposed to be like from society and the wife and everyone else. I know he is being a good man but she is screwing him over purely because she wants what she wants and she doesn't want to have to do anything about it. As you stated she is someone you used to know and that's about it. He gets left with nothing his kid gone and money gone. Who is going to pick up the pieces for him? What would she do to him if he didn't pay her?
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 07:01 PM
3

Good for you sounds like you know what you want
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 04:52 PM
2

You are right . Same happened to me. She said it was for to feel secure but she didn't give a shit about my security. I should be good enough to be with without demands
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 04:22 PM
5

These women they get their man but don't know how to keep him. She is lucky to have you she just doesn't know it
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:42 PM
6

That's true it does. I think once a woman gets married she feels more in power and control. With having more control the expectations are higher sometimes the expectations are unreasonable and can't be easily achieved
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:01 PM
4

Oh wow. I hope you guys are doing good now
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 12:47 PM

Ideas yeah you take control of the finances and stop trying to deal with her
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:54 AM
3

3k in cs 1k in spousal support and u pay more for her expenses and now she wants in writing that you don't see your child. Are you out of your fucking mind? You will not see that kid again but you are on the hook for monthly payments. How can you be in this position mentally? What has she done to you?
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:52 AM
1

She is giving you no choice really so divorce her a d get custody of your daughter so she can have a chance at life
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:42 AM
1

I hope you are not paying for the one you adapted. If you are then go and give up your rights for the adapted one so hopefully you don't have to pay. Wtf she should be appreciative that you took care of her kid instead she wants more money
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:38 AM
11

She turns off your phone because she is doing some shit behind your back. I thought you military guys don't put up with this kind of behavior. Cut both of the phone lines. Go and open 1 just for you. Stop paying rent and let her get kicked out while you get your own place. Give her nothing and start saving your money separately from now till you leave he ass
/r/Divorce_Men19/12/22 01:32 AM
2

Good for her. Most man have to beg for it
/r/Divorce_Men18/12/22 04:06 PM

Either you file or you don't. It doesn't matter if she backs off for now. You have all the information that you need so it's just a matter of making a decision

Do something drastic if you want change. Good luck

/r/Divorce_Men18/12/22 11:44 AM

Forget about alpha or beta just focus on the solution moving for yourself and your kids. If you decide to divorce don't just file to show her make sure that you make some moves beforehand and then file. If you are handling all the bills now it will work against u in court. Take time and try to see what's the best for you now and what the future looks like with or without your wife. Know that everything thar she says it's mostly a lie
/r/Divorce_Men18/12/22 11:35 AM
3

That's perfectly said. Women get thought to get married for their security. We need to teach the young men to protect themselves from marriage for their security
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 09:35 AM
7

I hate to hear stories like this. Women don't even think about the child's best interest. A child should not grow up without a father. Situations always change so hang in there and take care of yourself
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 09:27 AM
2

Well you are moving forward now
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 01:08 AM

I am sorry man this really sucks
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 01:07 AM
5

Yeah you will never see that kid again if you let her leave
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 12:36 AM
3

Wow what a fucked up situation. I can't believe we fuck these women and try to make the wives they are fucking broken
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 12:30 AM
4

A fucked person does that. What a fucking bitch honestly. Wtf is wrong with her? Did she find someone new is that why she is doing this to you? How can an attorney reschedule so many court appearances? You should find out where the daycare is and go there and see her and also take her home. When there is no custody set either one of the parents can have the child
/r/Divorce_Men17/12/22 12:23 AM
1

Give her an amount that you think is fair. Also if you give her this much now you will get stuck because she ll use it in court against you. Keep track of everything you give her so she doesn't get you for back pay. College fund is fucking bullshit she just wants to leave you with nothing. Fuck that give her the bare minimum until it gets settled in court. These women want to control you your entire life. Whatever you give she gives the same amount if you give her 300 she ll have to put 300 also
/r/Divorce_Men16/12/22 06:05 PM
3

Give us your story if you people to reply
/r/Divorce_Men16/12/22 09:37 AM
1

How the fuck did you agree with that to begin with? If you appeal you need a good reason for them to modify like a big drop in your income. Quit and work a cash job then appeal. This is insane 70% of your income wtf was that judge thinking? Quit your job and start draining the retirement funds for yourself
/r/Divorce_Men16/12/22 09:35 AM
1

Keep pressing her and she might cave and sign
/r/Divorce_Men16/12/22 09:30 AM
1

You are only focused on what you can have with the new one, you are not thinking on what you will lose with your wife emotionally and financially. 40 years of memories and I don't know how easy it will be for you to not think about all of that. Plus you never know what's on the other side if you end up moving in with the new one. It's a gamble
/r/Divorce_Men16/12/22 09:28 AM
9

That's why I would not include my wife or ex now in my immediate family because you have your in your family then you don't. She did you a favor and left you with your real family your kids. Let that other guy deal with her now. She ll be a wanderer for the rest of her life now. Enjoy your kids they are at a good age and enjoy your peace and quiet at home.
/r/Divorce_Men16/12/22 08:55 AM
2

I say consider everything and get some real information. Canada is the closest way of living to the US. I think the hardest thing is that you might get home sick and miss any family you have here. It really might be tough to never return so if you really want to leave make sure you have exhausted every other way
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 10:44 PM
2

Yeah with him cs and alimony might be modified higher he is only going to make more money. As far as being a every other weekend father it's up to him. I don't think you should judge and say cowardly he sounds like a good man that doesn't want to be screwed by a fucked up system
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 10:40 PM
4

These legal system will not let him be a father. What kind of bullshit is it that he has to give up 50% of his income and try to move forward for himself. So how is he supposed to be in another relationship while he is paying alimony to his ex? Or is his life now supposed to be a servant to her because she wanted to divorce him but needs his money indefinitely. He only has one life to live but because of this legal system and a fucked up ex he needs to struggle answer these questions
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 10:33 PM

He said he would send money to the child read the post
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 10:23 PM

You live and you learn
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 02:15 PM
1

I am sorry this happened to you and your kids man, but you are showing what a man really is. Everyone thinks they are the man but people like you show it when it counts. I would say the best of luck but when you fight like you the outcome will be much better than someone that stops fighting
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 11:53 AM
3

Stories like this make just want to just hire a surrogate to have kids with so I know for sure that they will be raised properly
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 10:58 AM
4

Run
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 09:10 PM
6

That's an insane amount of alimony. That really sucks
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 08:36 PM
1

What is the lawyer's role in all of this? Also can't you request another cfi someone who will actually care and listen and see the evidence? Now that she is out of the home can you file for full custody and then maybe the judge will listen to the recordings?
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 08:34 PM
2

I am not sure how often you post but you will do everyone a favor if you post often. I agree with everything you said
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 07:50 PM
2

You are right obviously all of us got divorced for a reason not to put up with their crap anymore so people that don't agree with your comments maybe should have never gotten divorced
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 07:29 PM
2

Finally someone that really gets it. You should post more and people should listen and apply
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 07:23 PM

Lol
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 12:33 PM

She is still finding ways to treat you like you are married. I would make some flash cards that say suck a fat one you miserable bitch and hand it to her everytime she criticizes you
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 09:37 AM
1

People that are thinking about getting married need to read stories like this and then make a decision
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 09:30 AM
2

I read your story and it is insane that you had to go through that. You are probably the strongest guy I have ran across. I think a lot of people need to read your story
/r/Divorce_Men14/12/22 09:23 AM
1

She is doing it to control you and piss you off. Also she wants to gather info to use it in the divorce. Start stealing her mail and take her shoes too and throw them up on the fucking power lines so she can see them everyday
/r/Divorce_Men13/12/22 09:45 PM
9

Yes do this and don't give a fuck about her. She left plus she wants money too these fucking women
/r/Divorce_Men13/12/22 09:37 PM
5

He isn't the dirtbag she is. You and your friends leaving bad reviews does nothing. Maybe you can pretend for a while that she doesn't exist any longer. Start dating or do something else to help you through the process
/r/Divorce_Men13/12/22 10:01 AM
1

Sometimes we get fixated on doing something and it stresses us out. You really don't have to do anything at all, but if you want to try it out and be near family do so. Anything we change in life it takes getting used to it especially once we get older so if you decide to move after the first few weeks you need to patient and not look back otherwise you will end up going back. If you decide to move do it for other reasons not to feel better from a divorce, that being said now you are free do wha…
/r/Divorce_Men13/12/22 08:14 AM

Women lie all the time in court and they have their husbands arrested and thrown out and make insane statements like rape and abuse then they get proven wrong and 0 accountability.
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 10:11 PM
1

That's not the only 2 reasons why he doesn't want to leave. You have to be sure that you want a divorce otherwise don't file. It looks like you are not ready. Maybe you can fix your marriage. Good luck
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 10:08 PM
5

If she is really a narc no matter what you agree to she will probably find something else that she will drive you crazy. She can't let go that's all she has left to have control over you so yeah set a trial date and never talk to her after the divorce
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 10:00 PM
2

It sucks but that really is the reality
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 09:55 PM
2

Don't give her any money and let her struggle then record everything and use it in court to get custody of your kids
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 09:53 PM
4

If you want to drive her crazy then yeah 0 contact
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 09:04 PM
3

I would definitely not say fuck you to anything. If she is fishing give her nothing other than what's on the table. I don't think her affair will help you. Sucks for your son but you need to look after him especially with the drinking. You need to play the patient game and definitely get spousal support
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 04:48 PM
4

You are 28 wtf were you doing getting married in the first place? Get out now. 6 months into the marriage and already in marriage counseling if that's not a huge red flag I don't what is. No kids probably no assets to spilt so run and then run and don't stop running until she can't find you ever
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 02:22 PM
6

Even better do it fuck be petty fuck the high road
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 10:04 AM
2

Looks like you have a good plan. Hopefully you don't have to pay for her too while going through divorce. Also Hopefully no alimony other than that it looks like you are in the clear
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 09:06 AM
3

It's common this does happen. In my opinion she most likely tried moving on but can't seem to replace you so instead of saying that she wants to be in your life. I would say no to that if you want to move on yourself
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 09:04 AM
1

Why not find out by actually asking her or just find out in other ways and then make a decision
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 09:00 AM
6

I have heard the 50 50 but in some cases it definitely doesn't make sense. I wonder if you can stop paying for a few things like cell phone and may cable I don't know how courts can enforce that? We are nothing to these courts just a fucking number. I think men should fucking sue the judges for making these kinds of decisions with people's lives
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 08:54 AM
5

There is a success story. Guilty why fuck that just have fun
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 08:43 AM
23

It sucks but women always have a plan when they ask for divorce. Try to think of it this way she is doing you a favor if you spend another 10 years with her and she kept lying and cheating on you it would have been worse. Now my advice is gym or whatever workout but the best thing you can do is go get laid as much as possible. Go back to the appartment and take the rest of the condoms she used one you can use the rest
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 08:40 AM
2

Obviously this is the wrong and the right place to talk about marriage lol. The best legal advice you can get is from an attorney. I am sure the attorney that drafts your prenup can probably include the house in it too. It's good that you are trying to protect yourself but a lot can happen during marriage that after so many years the prenup won't protect everything. It looks like she is pushing for marriage as most women do but my advice is to what feels right to you. I personally wouldn't get m…
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 08:34 AM
4

How can you allow her to take your American citizen kids abroad? Wtf how can she legally do that?
/r/Divorce_Men10/12/22 11:02 PM
2

Looks like it's more than just not wanting kids out of wedlock. So you want to get married again it looks like. What difference does it make if you have a marriage contract before having kids? It won't make a difference the kids will come out the same, it might even be better because their mommy will behave better if she doesn't have the option to get alimony
/r/Divorce_Men10/12/22 10:24 PM
7

It's not the phone it's the doubt that you have to leave or not after so long. People that file don't think about the phone and the wife finding out. Looks like you are not ready yet. Also you might want to have a plan before you drop divorce papers on her lap and then she kicks you out
/r/Divorce_Men10/12/22 04:50 PM
1

It will be tough. Think about all the shit we go through in life this is probably the only thing we can't manage marriage but you will get through it. At least your expenses won't be double
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 05:02 PM
1

Why are you divorcing? Also why are you the one moving out? Stay at home and let her move out otherwise you will be paying for both homes and yeah take the furniture and whatever else you can
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 09:11 AM
1

Another few years? I would give it 6 months and if there is no improvement I would leave and file for full custody. In the mean time move assets around especially since you make more
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 08:54 AM
1

You don't have to agree with her. Go for 50 50. As far as raising the girls just be yourself you can't be any other way
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 08:47 AM
1

Love hearing stories like this when men just don't fold and give up because that's how it is
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 08:43 AM
1

Already doing that with mine. Nothing to be gained from the man if he signs that marriage contract or it should be called bankruptcy contract. I told my son if a woman wants you then it marriage should not be demanded and if he does get married to sign a prenup
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 08:40 AM
3

She should pay you child support
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 08:36 AM

Dude fuck that as long as you can keep your job I would fuck the best looking ones
/r/Divorce_Men09/12/22 08:27 AM

You can but you better be right if you pull that trigger. You got to document the right way that is acceptable by the court
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 02:58 PM

No bjs no and sex twice a month and stays like a rock. Your wife is like trying to start a car with a dead battery
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 07:33 AM

I would not keep discussing her new situation with someone else if you want the feeling to remain, also I would try and move on myself with dating or having a great time in some other manner
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 07:17 AM
1

You are not going to win with the way its set up there really is no reprimand for her. Like it was said in another post you can go back to court and spend a bunch of money and really achieve nothing, but can you take them for a trip at some point and make up your time?
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 07:11 AM

Live in the moment and enjoy it. If you end up divorcing then deal with it then, but for now you are having a great time enjoy it

Where is she from? She will raise your child there that kid will not know her father. The child support you give her she will use for whatever not the child. Also if you really love your child how is it ok to not be around
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 08:42 AM

DO NOT leave your home. Also if you can don't let her in
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 08:38 AM

Or go off the grid for a while and give her nothing and build a new life somewhere else. I know it sounds crazy but wtf you got to pay alimony because of a stupid paper that you signed. It's 2022 when it comes to divorce things have gotten worse. We worry about the environment and animals and protect trees and everything fucking thing else but we screw good men in court, take his family away take his finances and his dignity because he chose to do the right thing and marry someone. Now she gets …

My ex used to do that take things that she thought were important to me and keep them from me. It is a control thing that they do. They want you to react and do something stupid so they can use it to their advantage. Another thing that my ex wanted was to take control of my house because she thought it would make me behave better. It is all fucking stupid. Some of these women are so fucking dumb in the way that they think about living their life. Even during the relationship they can get anythin…

I agree with all of your points. You already have your family your kids are your family not the wife which is the ex wife now. Sex you can get without any commitment which is a word that I hate. I have a lot of friends that are married too and yeah everyone of them have to ask permission or make up a reason why they can't do certain things. I at least can try different things for my life I can actually have dreams and different passions.

Nah don't say fuck it. You should get the best deal of a fucked up situation that is divorce. So be an adult and be patient. If you have a good job and make a ton of money that's different but if you are like most man that works hard don't say fuck it

You only have one life to live. If you are unhappy you need to change it. What waits for you On the other side you never know but if you live your life in a safe way you will be better. Sometimes the unknown is exciting versus you know exactly what will happen with what you have now. Alimony sucks but do some research to find out how much it would be. You owe it to yourself to change things if you are unhappy. I personally have been divorced and did not regret it. I am 42 and and I have already …

In Florida alimony is only awarded rarely and if the wife works no matter the income usually there is no alimony but you never know in court. If you are thinking about divorce you need to prepare from now. Cut your expenses move money around research how much alimony you would pay with a lower income. Don't let her scare you with alimony

Don't feel guilty about it if you can get her to sign it then go for it. Yep you definitely have to protect yourself. The post nup it works and there is nothing wrong with having one. Women have the entire legal system that protects them when they divorce

I hate hearing stories like this, but I am glad you fought and cleared the charges. How do you rape your wife wtf

Well if he gets married again because of that reason chances are that he ll get divorced again
/r/Divorce_Men04/12/22 06:18 PM

Yeah fuck 50 50 you should get 100, and fuck the lawyer for playing it low key. If the situation was reversed you would be in jail

Looks like you got a bunch of advice on the last post. Think of it this way if you save her now what will you get out it? Try and negotiate some don't just go and save her. She can't have her cake and eat it too multiple times over. She could have been dissent and you would not get divorced and your kid could have both parents. As many others have said stay the course and let her figure her own stuff out
/r/Divorce_Men04/12/22 10:41 AM

Depending on your state you should ok financially if she makes 4 times what you make. As far her being a bully don't let her if she threatens you with divorce then divorce her. It sounds like you are a good father continue being a good father. Your daughter is important she has your DNA your wife is not related to you. So divorce her and focus on yourself and your daughter and eventually find someone better for yourself. We can't reason with these women that don't want to be reasoned with. I hea…

Your best chance is for her to drop the charges. You can fight it but you might lose. If I was you I would keep it cool with her and see if she will drop the charges. Negotiate with her if you have to in order not to get convicted. Swallow your pride for now

Man how old are you?
/r/Divorce_Men03/12/22 01:13 PM

How about you stop worrying about everything and just be in the moment. Oh and you are young too just have fun. Stop thinking with your head and start thinking with your dick instead

He doesn't seem sure about it
/r/Divorce_Men02/12/22 03:30 PM

So from your explanation it looks like you are screwed either way keep her or leave her. You won't be able to let go of the resentment but also I can see that you will be miserable if you split from her. You can't really change on how your relationship started, also you created this fucked up dynamic that she gets to be her and you have to be her slave. You might need some professional help on how to deal with this
/r/Divorce_Men02/12/22 09:06 AM
2

Why not gaslight her instead. Start treating her like she treats you. What will she do divorce you. So just give it right back to her. If you want to get laid go and get it somewhere else and don't even worry about having sex with her
/r/Divorce_Men01/12/22 07:31 PM

Live in the moment and enjoy it. Good for you that you were able to move on. Now at least you know what to do if things change later
/r/Divorce_Men01/12/22 09:10 AM

So she has you where she wants you. Women know their men. She leaves you and gets to be with another man but still gets support from you in many different ways insurance emotional financial. Wtf is wrong with you people that allow these women to do this? Cut her ass off and ignore her if you want her back. She gets to cook and do all other things for a new man and fucks you over. Let her run away run the fuck away

If you end up getting screwed with alimony and child support it's going to be tough on you. Also you working in the citi might work against you for custody. If you file be prepared for the mental strain that you might have to go through. When people are married for a long time even if the marriage is not good they still miss it after they divorce. I would suggest that you start acting in a way that makes you happy at home not the way you're acting now. She wants dinner she can order it she wants…

You should get half of your savings as long as she doesn't blow it. She is probably going to use it for the divorce so she can screw you some more. You know what drives me crazy when guys are not proactive. Most of us know the divorce is coming but we take 0 steps before it gets filed. Women on the other hand have no problem to do anything they want to screw us from stealing the family money lie to the kids lie to the judge and lie to the cops. As far as custody it depends on your case and your …

She lawyered up right did you find a lawyer? Does she know about these two inheritances? If she doesn't then don't volunteer any info. If you paid the power bill with it does she know that? Also I hope you went and changed it now so the payment can go out of a different account. As far as I know power bills or water bills you don't have to bring to the court house with

Why can't you file to her removed from the house? Tell your lawyer to not just respond to whatever she is doing but to actually come up with some ways beneficial to you. Also if you get removed I would contribute 0 financially to her, no paying for the home no paying for any of the bills. If you have to get out because she wants to be king of the castle then she can fucking handle it. So this is what happens to most men in domestic cases. They get hit and then they somehow feel guilty that she has nowhere to go. There is not perfect case scenario for you to make sure that this situation will be good On all ends. She ll figure it out on her own. At some point you will be back with her unless she doesn't want you anymore. No matter what you hear in here or from your friends you will take her back again and she will hit you again and next you will get arrested and she will keep …

There is lots of changes you can make with the schedule. Your ex can change her schedule too. If she finds someone new I ll bet she will change her work schedule. So look out for you and your kids. One of the reasons that you got divorced for is that you have a better life for yourself
/r/Divorce_Men30/11/22 08:47 AM
3

You go through ups and downs in life marriage and apparently divorce just take in stride and do your daily routine for now. You ll have a lot of different feelings for a while moving forward. After a while if you feel happier and you are in a better spot in your life you ll look back as you made the right decision so work on being happier you owe that to yourself
/r/Divorce_Men30/11/22 08:33 AM
1

I think it depends on the person and stage of your life
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 09:11 PM
6

This is the wrong place to ask that. Why are you considering it? Is she putting pressure on you? A woman should want to be with you with or without marriage. If she is a good woman go ahead and do it but put a few protections in place first
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 08:48 PM
8

So this is what a woman would do . Empty bank account Open new secret bank account Change 401k contributions Up her spending Get a tro in some cases Have you thrown out of your home Change the locks Won't let you see the kids File for temporary cs Go an a smear campaign Remove valuables from the house and put them somewhere secret Of course Change all the passwords These are a few things I could remember
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 04:29 PM
5

But you will have the kids 50 50 so the expenses are 50 50 . You ll pay child support plus have the kids 50% of the time and she wants alimony wtf. Shame on you for being successful and making more money that's what the courts are saying with their bullshit decisions
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 04:22 PM
7

It's 50 50 custody the cs should be symbolic at best. Alimony sucks man. I hope u won't give her the house now you better fight now. She ll take the house and alimony and cs and soon have a new man in there. So make this divorce a living hell for her so that way you don't get screwed as much. What kind of bullshit is it that the custody is 50 50 and you have to pay her child support wtf is it with these courts
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 03:49 PM
3

Oh very simple you say nothing if she is picking them up everyday doing you a favor pretty much. If the kids are old enough they can handle it with the mom
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 08:16 AM
3

Your family is you kids. We get fed this notion that the wife is part of our family which is a load of crap. Blood family is your family. Take care of yourself and your kids and try to move on. Most wives always focus on them before and during the marriage they don't really care about anyone else. The ones that really care don't get divorced. Struggle through this and with time you ll move on one way or another
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 08:14 AM
1

Depends if there is anything valuable. If there is just couches and beds don't worry like it was said in a previous post get a credit you need new stuff anyway
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 08:08 AM
6

Therapy is bullshit especially for you being that young. Uncontested divorce is the best way to go. Don't stress to much you have your whole life in front of you. If you marry again we will see you again in this sub lol
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 08:03 AM
8

Let her get triggered as long there is no fake domestic violence called fuck it stay there be stoic and maybe she ll move out. Put some cameras if needed. But that's your house do not give up your house
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 08:01 AM
2

Play some fucking offense. Record all of these fake accusations and go get an attorney to go to court with and sue her ass. These women have some fucking balls
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 07:56 AM
1

So yeah there is your answer. Turn her in and see if you can recover anything
/r/Divorce_Men29/11/22 07:13 AM
3

If you will have 50 50 custody why is one of your expenses child support? Looks like you have everything figured out and I hope she agrees to it. A whole year of living separate with separate bills it's a waste. Avoiding the lawyer fees is a great idea. I hope a lot of couples would do that so they can be left with more. Recession on the other hand is not for sure but yeah join a firm you will need consistent income as long as that doesn't affect the Financials in the divorce. Good luck
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 10:30 PM
1

So thats fine that you are giving her these things but it should all be documented plus anything you give for the kid should be documented. When things change in her life she might change too so better be protected. It would be a good idea to have an agreement signed if you are going to give her money monthly plus set visitations too
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 10:22 PM
1

You can collaborate as long as you get what's fair plus custody if that's best for the kids. I am all for being collaborative but don't forget the main goal is to get what's important to you. Even if you collaborate she still isn't going to be your wife anymore
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 10:14 PM
-2

Why is she trying to do that? Is there something you are not giving her?
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 10:11 PM
1

None of them are or the good ones don't get divorced. Women make no fucking sense be glad that you are rid of her
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 05:35 PM
2

So if you have a lawyer he should go after it. There are a lot of steps to be followed and the lawyer should know
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 05:22 PM
1

Do you have a acceptable home can you provide a better life than she can? So essentially is the child going to be better of with you than her? Also can you push her to break and agree to your terms? I knew my ex all I needed was to stay consistent and keep pushing until she gave up all the things that I wanted
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 04:34 PM
27

If she is a good woman ( which nowadays is rare) you can't talk to her about taking a trip so you can try it out. As far as sleeping with other women it's not all that exciting after a few times. If you don't want a family than go be single. We always want what we can't have
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 03:55 PM
2

Is your wife not working? If she isn't than you can negotiate it in court but I would not offer anything upfront
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 03:50 PM
1

Well if she is an alcoholic see if she will sign whatever in the divorce so you get the kids and your legal bills are not that bad. Make sure to take the kids or they are screwed and will end up in foster care. If you convince her to sign them over you are good then.
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 03:44 PM
1

Keep bugging the shit out of her just like she would do to you and she ll think twice before doing it again. As far as how do you get over the feeling on how you married someone like her the answer is at the time you married her you thought that the situation you are in now would not happen. Plus if you didn't marry her you probably would have regretted that too so move forward until you don't give a fuck about her
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 03:30 PM
1

Make her ass act crazy in court and prove that the boyfriend is being bad to the kids and you have a chance. What kind of a loser is he btw. Anyway you know she is crazy just prove it, and for God's sake stop putting yourself in a bad spot that you could get arrested again.
/r/Divorce_Men28/11/22 03:21 PM

Do you have to pay alimony in NC I thought you didn't only in rare cases? I am in FL and it's not an alimony state

/r/Divorce_Men27/11/22 07:56 AM

Ok I get it now but are you going for full custody? If not then she can't keep you from seeing your kids especially if you are being treated. Lots of people have mental health issues that they deal with, hell women have more than men and they still get custody. You are being treated so I don't see how she can get sole custody. Women have control issues that's why she is doing it
/r/Divorce_Men27/11/22 07:52 AM
1

Don't file until you have all your stuff in place. Also if you own shares pre ipo then you should just give her half at the price that you purchased them. She can't predict what those shares could be worth no one can.
/r/Divorce_Men27/11/22 07:49 AM

Obviously your lawyer knows best but this is from a previous relationship 7 years ago how can she use this against you now. I hate this bullshit that we gave to go through and these judges are pro women. Now the question is why does she want to use these texts? What does she want?
/r/Divorce_Men27/11/22 07:47 AM

Women are ruthless. Why would your ex still keep the messages and also why would that impact your case now? Women say shit all the time time to the husband they are divorcing and still get what they want in court. I would tell my lawyer to gear up for a fight
/r/Divorce_Men27/11/22 07:40 AM

There are your answers you can accomplish all of these things while improving as a man. We can always be the best version of ourselves. You can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped. Why are you thinking about divorce? If you are worried about her as a parent go for full custody and get a cheaper place to live in. You also won't have her to spend your money so you don't need 3 jobs. Have all of these docs in a row before you divorce so when you separate you are in a good place

Be patient and keep the main goal in mind which is to be in your kids life. Ignoring her might be the best advice you can't win with facts. Push you lawyer to do better keep the pressure on your lawyer. In the mean time work a little more if you need money and it will also keep you busy. If you think you can be safe moving back in do it. Keep safe and don't get any domestic abuse crap in your record. Once you divorce it will get better.

It's just another day take it that way. When you get your kids celebrate with them. In the mean time keep busy

Wow that's a lot to go through honestly. It seems like if she just followed your lead both of you would have a much better life. I give a lot of guys credit when they see things clearly and pull the plug early in the relationship and don't go back anymore. I bet you if she didn't get a payout from the divorce she would have been more cooperative. These women don't understand what a good thing looks like. Sometimes I feel sorry for them that their brains are the way they are. They create drama an…

You can always open a trust for each one of the kids and you can set it up to cover everything that you are concerned with. As far as what she does I don't think you have a say so. Have a living will too if needed
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 07:48 PM

She might file and put an ad out on you and if they don't find you she can still divorce you and get everything she wants
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 11:56 AM

Use this info against her. Have your attorney file to have her removed from the home she is the one fabricating stuff. Don't be on defense go offense she can leave the home if she feels unsafe. Wtf these women will do anything to get what they want
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 11:28 AM
4

I agree. Most man go with what's already been set give up your stuff sign any kind of alimony pay any kind of child support and the mess up their future that way. They get in so deep that it will take a lifetime to recover and women move on to another relationship with the man's money and these men are treated like shit afterwards too. I wish I could shake these people awake
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 11:19 AM

Women know that men will give up a lot for freedom so they go after everything and most of us fold and walk away from everything. I fought tooth and nail and she only got her own stuff. The audacity of that woman was insane asking for everything that wasn't hers. She didn't even like my stuff but just wanted to bury me. I was calm and kept repeating no no no. She got insanely mad and only got her stuff
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 11:13 AM

Hopefully other people read this too and realize that it does get better
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 11:07 AM

She probably has a new man in her life and is hiding you from him. It's weird why some people do things that don't make sense. If you have set visitations why even communicate just see your kid and the rest of the time she doesn't exist
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 10:43 AM

It seems that financially you might come out ok. Especially with no kids. Have you thought what you would do afterwards when you are divorced? Most people struggle with the decision they made. If you know what you want and how to achieve it then go for it life is short Especially when you have regrets. You will have a lot of time in your hands so really you need to find ways to keep busy with things that make your day to day life better
/r/Divorce_Men19/11/22 08:20 AM

A lot of people have a hard time admitting certain things that make them look bad and she probably thinks it might make her look bad in divorce. Also probably she doesn't want to completely shut the door between you. A lot of people that divorce get back together sometimes

The reason I think that you are posting here is because you already seem to have doubts. I am also assuming she is pushing for marriage or is demanding marriage. My advice is to cohabitate and see how she responds. We as men even when we cohabitate we take care of our responsibilities as husbands. So why marry? Plus consider your age and what you are trying to accomplish in life and is she going to help you or be in your way. If you want kids there are lots of options you don't need to get marri…

Have you guys even talked about divorce? If you have then you can sit down and discuss it. I think once she gets a lawyer she will change her mind on a lot of things. I do believe to go after what you want there is no prize to be gained by being nice. Alimony changes everything and that really sucks for the man. Hopefully you have thought about what your life would look like after the divorce financially. In my opinion do not get divorced until you have a good plan be patient and try to think ab…

My advice is to fight and do your part then once it's out of your hands then there is nothing you can do. These judges are rude and throw men under the bus I understand but fight
/r/Divorce_Men16/11/22 04:22 PM
10

Fight for what you want. Don't move out and don't give 50 50. Do not break because she is putting pressure on you. Tell your attorney not to budge at all
/r/Divorce_Men16/11/22 04:14 PM

Don't leave your home. Be steady don't fight or argue and cut her off financially don't try to appease her. She won't be nicer to you if you are nice to her. This really sucks that guys go through this shit. Just like in relationships when women go nuts and become abusive and cheat and become unbearable we can either leave or put up with it. If men did those things we get penalized severely. This false bullshit charges that women put on better be true and they should suffer consequences for that. So man go to court and have to fight a bullshit charge and after they prove its not true women are oh well and walk away with no problem I had my ex a long …

You might give it a bit more time. No infidelity no abuse you might want to give it another 6 months. Child support alimony might wreck you financially. At least give it enough time to have a good plan. Plus who would get custody?
/r/Divorce_Men15/11/22 10:41 PM

Do you have any kids? What is your ages? How bad would the divorce be financially for you?
/r/Divorce_Men15/11/22 10:35 PM

You definitely can. I would go for full custody and that might come down to 50 50 but you need to fight and not concede. Women don't give up when they want something. So you go toe to toe in mediation and court. If your attorney tells you to give up fire his ass. Put yourself in a favorable position with housing and job and whatever is required

I believe all men should not marry. They should create a family cohabitate and live the family life but not sign the man destroying contract that is marriage. You can always set up legal documents to protect your family just in case. My advice to you is to concentrate on yourself first and your kids. Date have fun create friendships and go on trips and yes exercise regularly. Fear of being by yourself forever don't worry about that just live in the moment in the end we will all be alone anyways.…

Just think long term do you want her in your kid's life? If you do then let her but if you don't cut all communications. She does have rights anyway and think about your kid

/r/Divorce_Men13/11/22 06:13 PM

/r/Divorce_Men13/11/22 12:34 PM

Why wait to file it doesn't matter how old your son is. You want to see your partner's true color let her see you dating also if she dated how would that be for you. You can go and fuck someone else but it better be just that
/r/Divorce_Men13/11/22 07:46 AM
1

Maybe just Maybe give a few doses of her own medicine. Start calling and harrasing her and her family. Make her feel guilty and call her names you don't live with her so fuck it why not start treating her like crap too what do you really have to lose be a phone tough guy
/r/Divorce_Men11/11/22 03:08 PM
1

Don't tell anyone
/r/Divorce_Men11/11/22 03:03 PM

Collect as much info as possible about what's going on at home and give to the lawyer and let him decide what he can use. And yes go for full custody
/r/Divorce_Men11/11/22 02:57 PM
2

When the pressure of marriage is off people are generally nicer because they can be themselves. She might just want to be by herself for a while. That's why dating is fun no pressure. Just see her if you want and if you don't want to don't see her. Don't stress to much or put pressure on yourself like you really need to make a move
/r/Divorce_Men11/11/22 02:47 PM
2

Stay home and don't budge if she doesn't want you anymore she can move out. Men like solutions women want solutions but don't want to sacrifice anything so they make it miserable for us to move out and keep paying for the expenses. Stay there ignore her and keep asking her to move out
/r/Divorce_Men11/11/22 02:23 PM

When needed take some instacart or doordash orders see if you can find some work from home also like answering customer service calls for triple A. Get some extra cash when needed

It sounds like you want your pound of flesh by getting some revenge. I don't think it's about helping with the divorce. If you want to catch let her feel comfortable for a bit so she can let her guard down and then start your investigation
/r/Divorce_Men10/11/22 11:28 PM

Not wrong at all she tries to keep you around that way too so she can feel like she has you still in her life. I suggest you not only ignore her but start seeing other women too so when the messages stop you hit her with that too

You have 3 boys be a dad and teach them right. They will get manipulated and angry let them. They are young and they will learn its ok for them to act out just make sure they know you love them and keep doing what it is that you think it's important don't worry to much about the ex.
/r/Divorce_Men10/11/22 08:17 AM

/r/Divorce_Men09/11/22 05:23 AM

Man this is some eye opening shit. I bet women would not get divorced if they were not incentivized to do so. Good luck to have them sign a prenup even though they are the ones pushing for marriage. I had a friend of mine that supported his girlfriend and her 2 kids not his and she would not sign a prenup unless he put in there that she would get a substantial amount if they divorced. He wanted kids so she threatened to have her tubes tied unless he changed it and she was ultra aggressive with h…

That's insane. Because you were a good man to her you get penalized. Now she gets to feel good about herself because of a piece of paper. No wonder my ex kept pushing for marriage. They get control during and after the marriage. I hope that everyone reads stuff like this and doesn't get married. It should be good enough to just be in a relationship v signing a contract that screws you over

8k a month spousal support wtf why does she deserve that especially no kids? I don't understand these laws. If u are divorcing why is she entitled to your money she needs to make her own. I would move out of the country or go off the grid and pay her nothing. No wonder she wants divorce she is set now. Sorry man I feel for you
/r/Divorce_Men08/11/22 02:19 PM
1

Looks like you have already done a lot of preparation. That's a good thing especially financially. Not sure what kind of custody you are looking for but hopefully it goes your way. Have you thought about what your life would be like after you are divorced? That might be something to work on also. I know most people focus on getting out because of a bad situation but there are a lot of people that don't know how to cope afterwards. Just a thought
/r/Divorce_Men07/11/22 02:45 PM

Yeah don't allow your kid to leave. Where does she want to take the kid to?
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 10:19 PM

Better be careful you might come home and the locks might be changed. Try to have some money aside just in case. When shit goes bad it's all the way bad and women don't care they want to see you suffer
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 10:09 PM
2

You are absolutely right you only have one life and happiness is what matters. What sucks the most is that there is this other person that thinks that they have a say so over your life just because you married them.
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 10:06 PM
1

You only have one life you should live it your way but marriage doesn't allow that . Even if you divorce you are still on the hook with alimony and child support so you got to work to work your ass off to support someone that treated you like shit. Fuck the system that most likely was created by stupid men because some women were nagging them
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:59 PM
1

Better yet if you have options just have fun and stop worrying about commitment
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:50 PM
2

These divorce laws are such bullshit honestly no wonder women initiate divorce more than men they make out like a champ. I just recently split up because I refused to get married. I wanted the relationship but why push for marriage we lived together and we could have just been together but she put her foot down and wanted marriage so we split
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:47 PM
1

It's in the lawyer's best interest for you to divorce now vs later
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:43 PM
1

Well be patient and start putting money away don't just leave and make your life worse financially. Start hiding some money oh and yeah force her to work and pay for herself from now. Just do you and stop paying for some stuff. When it comes to divorce fight to pay low alimony or not pay at all. Alimony is a stupid fucking law
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:40 PM
1

Why do you have to pay alimony? Didn't she gave a job?
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:33 PM

Why aren't you seeing anyone new? That might help make things easier
/r/Divorce_Men06/11/22 09:12 PM

Then most likely you are safe. She can't claim that she contributed to the property really after you got married. She might ask but I wouldn't bend on that
/r/Divorce_Men05/11/22 11:30 PM
3

How long were you married for? Also depends on the state but the length of marriage does matter.
/r/Divorce_Men05/11/22 11:27 PM

You should be able to open a custody case as long as you didn't sign anything over to her only
/r/Divorce_Men05/11/22 08:00 PM

Fucking women can't trust them. Is she seeing anyone? And can you go to court now?

Why wasn't custody set during the divorce?
/r/Divorce_Men05/11/22 07:42 PM

Just live your life stop stressing about telling or not telling plus you just met this person. And also stop worrying about your ex and her boyfriend even if she dated a looser why do you give a shit. Go on dates and have fun stop thinking so much. Be a man and think with your little head instead of the big one

/r/Divorce_Men03/11/22 10:49 AM

Once a cheater always a cheater. Man raise your kids and make them good human beings. Kids that grow up with their dad do much better. Life is about family and your family are your kids a cheating wife is not your family
/r/Divorce_Men01/11/22 06:26 PM
2

I say think of what she did. In this world that we live in do you really want someone that is confused do you want this person teaching your kids what life is about? Another question is would you consider being with her is she didn't come back begging you? Why is that we fall for these women want like we want to be needed like somehow that will make them act right since we feel that we saved them once they started begging
/r/Divorce_Men01/11/22 02:26 PM
2

I would do what women do. I would get a tro change the locks and make her life miserable. Let her jump through the hoops like they make men jump through. And oh yeah file for a divorce after you have a solid plan in place
/r/Divorce_Men01/11/22 04:01 AM
2

She stopped because you are entitled to half of it. She is putting money away already. See if you can do the same
/r/Divorce_Men01/11/22 03:55 AM
3

She did you a favor by filing. Now you get this done and move forward and have a blast. Let her live with her decision
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 08:00 PM

Why are you divorcing?
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 07:10 PM

Look man I don't want to make it sound easy. If you keep dwelling on things you can't have anymore it will make it worse. As far as you being fat you can control that to a certain degree
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 06:32 PM
2

Fuck that go hug someone new
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 05:48 PM

Good for you man. Finally someone that is moving forward. You are right just companionship should be good and that's the way it should be. Instead signing a contract to be imprisoned by
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 05:47 PM

Do not leave your home especially if you want to have your kids. Plus if you leave you might never get it back. She will not feel any empathy for you leaving she ll use that in court to get custody. Never ever leave your home
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 01:38 PM
3

In my opinion the best way is to move forward with your life. You have the career and hobbies now go out and have fun even date why not. Create as much distance as possible with your ex. Once the divorce is done I would eliminate any kind of unnecessary communication. Go on a trip get some fun toys like a boat if you can it will be all yours now anyway. My point is start having fun and yeah get as much female attention as possible
/r/Divorce_Men30/10/22 11:34 PM
1

Why wait for her school would she do the same for you. Oh the whole thing I was drunk kissing someone is bullshit. Get the divorce asap as long that's what you want
/r/Divorce_Men29/10/22 12:10 AM
5

Why are answering her messages you divorced her right. You need to stand your ground. Are we men or they are. Fuck these women that think they run shit. She showed up with her boyfriend fuck him too. Tell him how you used to fuck her and ask him if she tastes like your dick. Be a fucking man and show her that she is a nobody anymore women hate that. Grow some balls Sorry but that sounds like a bunch of bullshit.
/r/Divorce_Men28/10/22 08:57 PM
3

Hey listen looks like you are a good man. I am usually for working things out but at some point when you deal with infidelity and other big issues it's not worth it. Fight for your kid and your stuff move on and find someone else and live your life your way
/r/Divorce_Men28/10/22 04:19 PM

Looks like both of you don't want to get divorced. It seems that you are waiting each other out to see who will break first and cave about the decision of children
/r/Divorce_Men27/10/22 08:23 PM
2

Sounds like you are both not ready to split. This is one way for her to keep you close. If you see no future with her better cut ties. A lot of couples don't want to split but they are tired of the bullshit so a lot of cohabitate at least for a while.
/r/Divorce_Men26/10/22 10:36 AM

If you get divorced is that better for you and your kids? Think of it that way. Maybe you should be home mire often and help in other ways other than just financially. I say before you divorce make to have done everything in your end to make things right

Breaking it casually with a bipolar person it's not a good idea either
/r/Divorce_Men22/10/22 04:17 PM
1

Have you guys separated before? Is all the money together? House is that rent or own? Have thought about any kind of alimony? Put a few things in order before you leave. Plus when you deal with a woman like that she will give plenty of opportunities to break the news to her. Wait till you have a big argument and say you want out
/r/Divorce_Men22/10/22 02:19 PM
2

Your answer is in you comment
/r/Divorce_Men21/10/22 01:38 PM

It doesn't have to be unknown. Make a plan before you divorce. What will your life look like when you are divorced? Will you find someone else if so start looking now so you have an idea
/r/Divorce_Men18/10/22 11:42 PM
3

Ok make sure that being divorced is better for you
/r/Divorce_Men18/10/22 11:38 PM
3

What happened why did she change her mind? How can you ensure that moving forward things will be better? Let's say you divorce have you thought what your life will be like without your family? Have you thought about the financial implications that the divorce will have on with child support and alimony? I would personally think about all of these things before making a decision
/r/Divorce_Men18/10/22 07:38 PM
1

Who is pushing the issue to introduce the kids you or her?
/r/Divorce_Men18/10/22 01:49 PM

Fuck no she won't. Women are cutthroat and they won't give a fuck about you. The minute they realize that they can't take from you anymore they are done with you
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/22 10:42 PM
6

Do not agree to anything. Why does she think she automatically is entitled to half. Give her nothing
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/22 05:49 PM
2

If you go down that path you are headed the wrong way. Women always have a plan so you make a plan and move forward stop thinking about what if
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/22 12:11 AM

If you have a lawyer you can overturn that I don't see why not. Virtual visits wtf that is your child

Why is there a restraining order to begin with?
/r/Divorce_Men16/10/22 03:23 PM

Exactly there is really no reason to get married. Women are the ones that push for marriage and the are the ones that want to get divorced so don't marry them
/r/Divorce_Men15/10/22 09:09 AM
10

Get an attorney to help you with this. If that kid doesn't have you in his life that kid is going to struggle. Go after it don't wait
/r/Divorce_Men13/10/22 11:01 PM
2

This is pretty much perfect advice. I would just add in to have a plan for after the divorce about your personal life and how you would make friends or find someone or have hobbies because if you don't you might end up lost way worse
/r/Divorce_Men12/10/22 10:24 PM

Exactly convince her to get out. Keep asking her to and she will break. Don't leave your house or she ll get a restraining order and you won't see your kid either plus you might get ordered to keep paying for the house

Yeah I hope he doesn't fall for it otherwise he is for a lot of heartache

Just be tough and be you and be smart. Women have a strong will to win even if it hurts them in the end. Don't stress to much and move forward with your plan.
/r/Divorce_Men11/10/22 03:16 PM

At least she is the one that left. I would definitely stay in the house. You still have your kids and focus on that. You are hurting right now because she is probably not showing any feelings towards you and moved out but give it time. It doesn't matter if she gets what's coming to her it won't ease your pain. Just go about your business and day by day it will get easier and when she decides to come back remember these feelings and stay strong

Women have this way of making you feel that you owe them. Most women are nice to everyone else except their man the one that actually takes care of them. I would personally not accept alimony if my ex wife wanted to pay me but women want to get your last dollar and leave you broke or in debt. The only female that I would feel responsible for would be my daughter
/r/Divorce_Men10/10/22 09:33 AM

I think guys get confused sometimes once you are divorced she isn't your wife anymore. Don't feel like you owe her anything it doesn't matter the circumstances. If you pay her alimony what is she going to do for you while you give her this money. Is she going to help you out in any kind of way. No she will get on with her life get a new man while you still pay her. Keep the alimony money and make a new life for yourself and your kids
/r/Divorce_Men10/10/22 08:20 AM
5

Perfectly said. Honestly the only way to argue with a woman is to not make just throw shit out there. I think guys should not get married anymore because that might keep these women in check. They are incentivized to get divorced especially when they get alimony. Guys should have relationships but don't sign that marriage contract. Also women are the ones pushing for marriage anyway
/r/Divorce_Men08/10/22 07:47 PM

Finally somebody with some good news. Good for him
/r/Divorce_Men07/10/22 07:37 PM

Wow. Women are cutthroat I am glad you are fighting back
/r/Divorce_Men07/10/22 12:14 AM

I had a controlling ex. The way I put pressure on her was to constantly ask for something that I wanted just by texting or calling her. You got to do to them the same they do to us. So if you are allowed call her keep bugging her.
/r/Divorce_Men06/10/22 08:05 PM
2

I think the reason she is not signing is because that's one of last things she has control over. Once she signs she no longer has any control.
/r/Divorce_Men06/10/22 07:54 PM

Why are you divorcing?
/r/Divorce_Men06/10/22 07:11 PM
1

Why not go for full custody if you are already taking care of her. As far as the home you might have refi to give her the money.
/r/Divorce_Men06/10/22 12:02 AM
1

There is no perfect answer. If you go back if that's even an option most likely you will regret it. Not sure why you split up to begin with but obviously something went wrong. I don't think it's about healing. This happens to a lot of they end up having regret. Fuck it I say date both if you can and you will know which one to chose
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 11:54 PM
3

My advice is to think a few steps ahead. What will your life look like without the family? Do you have a plan? Will you be happy being by yourself? A lot of guys focus on getting out and want peace and quiet but think past that. Think about your kid and the visitations think about future relationships and what will they look like at this point in your life. I say just be you in the mean time and if it goes to divorce then Nothing you can do
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 08:47 PM
3

If she is a good parent you say nothing and have no right to say anything. If she is a shitty parent you something but that won't fix anything
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 02:49 PM
2

He has doubts that's why he reached out to men that have been divorced
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 02:14 AM
2

This sounds like solid advice. I would even start fucking seeing other women on the side now
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 02:12 AM
2

And during the 3 years have a plan. Start stashing some money away slowly see if you can sell the house so she doesn't get to stay in it. Cut her off slowly from now and when you finally file don't concede fight until you don't get screwed as bad. This spousal support is a bunch of fucking bullshit wtf you're supporting her now once the marriage is over its fucking done
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 02:11 AM
2

Yep agreed
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 11:46 PM
3

Potential alimony might the issue. Check your options and talk to an attorney. I would go for full custody since she doesn't earn anything. You can also get an attorney she might not be able to afford one. Also she wants to hit and humiliate you I would fucking cut her off on the money that's coming in make all the financial decisions yourself. The balls that these women have
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 10:51 PM
10

If she wants to be with you there is no reason yo have a contract in place. You ll also find out if she really wants to be with you if she does then marriage should not be a must. Also this the wrong place to ask advice for marriage lol. Most of have been burned before.
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 08:34 PM

You say goodbye by remembering why you divorced and by moving forward. If you think that there a proper way to do it so you don't feel like shit you are mistaken. Just move forward

/r/Divorce_Men29/09/22 01:45 AM

Something has to change with these bullshit laws about alimony
/r/Divorce_Men27/09/22 01:04 AM

Awesome someone played it nicely. How dare these courts award alimony like it is deserved by these women. They push to get married and then push to divorce and get awarded wtf
/r/Divorce_Men27/09/22 01:03 AM
3

I would never leave the house if he can swing it he needs to make her leave that's a good start. If he files he needs to get an attorney at the time of filing
/r/Divorce_Men26/09/22 11:40 PM
8

My question is that why is the marriage required to move forward? You should be able to be with someone just because you want to be with them what's with the requirement
/r/Divorce_Men26/09/22 09:53 PM
2

She can't take your kids and move. You cab get a court order to stop that or file for joint custody or since you are the breadwinner you file to take the kids
/r/Divorce_Men25/09/22 07:31 PM
2

That sucks. The institution of marriage should be abolished. I think women invented it
/r/Divorce_Men25/09/22 07:22 PM
3

These women they just want to take take and give nothing in return. Somehow their brains are preconditioned that they are responsible for nothing and we as men have to take care of them and if they don't get what they want they make it sound like the world will end. I would recommend that you get as much info as needed and play it smart before you get stuck with a huge payment for life. If it was me I would quit my job. You can always get another job after the divorce but you can't get rid of th…
/r/Divorce_Men25/09/22 06:58 PM

Depends in the state that you are in. I am in Florida and alimony is rare here
/r/Divorce_Men25/09/22 06:35 PM
2

When you go to court they won't care about your deal. Your best bet is to get her to work now then go to court to divorce. If she doesn't want to you might want to consider quitting work yourself for a bit to force her to work
/r/Divorce_Men25/09/22 05:03 PM
5

3 times per week you got a good deal. The rest of the time enjoy yourself and do things that make you happy. There is a reason you got divorced try and enjoy it
/r/Divorce_Men24/09/22 07:48 PM
5

You are not damaged goods. If you date don't talk about your divorce just enjoy the time with your dates. If she doesn't compromise you don't compromise either go after it and be patient she ll break. You are the man not her. Since when did women become stronger than men
/r/Divorce_Men24/09/22 03:38 AM
10

Do not leave your house do not offer her help with rent. She want to leave and do whatever with whoever she can figure out her own stuff. These women want what they want but want to rake the man that takes care of them and love them through the hot coals. She will go and find out on how it really is on her own. Fuck that you sit in your home and don't leave don't wait for the divorce to be final sit in your home and conced to nothing
/r/Divorce_Men23/09/22 03:28 PM
1

I think all men should not get married any longer. We can have relationships but not get married. I think this way we can abolish the institution of marriage. It's a trap to give women the license to be empowered to fuck shit up.
/r/Divorce_Men22/09/22 05:28 PM
6

These women will never get it
/r/Divorce_Men22/09/22 02:27 AM
15

They are all delusional. They reside in different planet in their minds. If you stay in the same house you ll have the same issues but after the divorce she ll use the excuse that she can bring whoever over when she wants
/r/Divorce_Men22/09/22 01:46 AM
2

Definitely wait on the new truck but why do we as men have a need to go offer 50% would a woman offer us 50%? I would definitely not offer anything let her fight if she has the money to pay her attorney. Honestly I would not go into it offering anything she is not your wife or friend anymore. She is a person that is getting away from you she should not get anything except what she earned and came into the relationship with
/r/Divorce_Men21/09/22 11:23 PM
1

This is bullshit. You have to deal with all of this because she wasn't happy anymore and wanted divorce
/r/Divorce_Men21/09/22 10:02 PM
3

Wtf this law about alimony is bullshit. Honestly just go off the grid and pat her nothing. They deserve nothing after you are divorced who makes these fucking laws wtf
/r/Divorce_Men21/09/22 08:21 PM
2

You accept the mood swings you won't be able to control them. Keep looking ahead and start doing things to keep busy. Don't let her guild you and mess up your day.
/r/Divorce_Men21/09/22 02:21 PM
3

Yeah definitely sell the home in this market. Let her go find a home and living arrangements on her own then she can relax in it
/r/Divorce_Men20/09/22 01:09 AM
5

Moved forward
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/22 11:26 PM
3

You got to move forward she has that's why she seems happy. If you get her back she will make miserable again. If you hate your appartment work on getting another one. Go online dating to keep busy and get your mind off of her. Stop following her and having the visual of her being happy
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/22 10:27 PM
8

A family should not have to go through that kind of experience. I feel that for the most part the harmony of a family depends on the woman's happiness. If she ain't happy everything gets ruined family finances friendships
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/22 06:20 PM
10

These courts they really don't give a shit. They say they act in the best interest of the child but they are full of shit. In the end the kids lose and get stuck with the parent that can't even provide
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/22 06:14 PM
4

Fuck that they are your kids. Be with them so they can learn from you on how to be proper human beings. They are only getting older they will know the truth. Women are cutthroat when it comes to hating their man.
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/22 03:10 PM
3

If your boys are teenagers contact them yourself and see them. You can contact them through social media or call or go to their school. No law prohibits you. As far as court you never know. These judges favor women instead looking at the facts
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/22 02:08 PM
2

Women will break if you put pressure on them
/r/Divorce_Men16/09/22 03:33 PM
2

Stick to your plan don't be discouraged by the nonsense that she might bring up. Women just say shit they don't make sense. The point is for you to get 50 50. Remember what gets set now it will be pretty much till they are adults. Stick to your points or looks like you have everything you need to get 50%.
/r/Divorce_Men16/09/22 03:33 PM
3

Could have not said it better myself
/r/Divorce_Men11/09/22 03:50 PM
6

Sound like a lot of women out there. Run and let someone else deal with her bullshit. Or you can give her a taste of her own medicine and make miserable like ignore her women hate that shit attack her comments and belittle her and see how she feels. Women do like assholes
/r/Divorce_Men11/09/22 03:21 PM
1

If she gets pressured she ll have to prove it how it got lost. Did she file a police report or somehow it vanished a nice expensive painting how convenient
/r/Divorce_Men08/09/22 12:17 AM
1

I am not sure if you can she also might have moved it but you can negotiate during mediation
/r/Divorce_Men07/09/22 11:14 PM
4

Attack her at her job so she ll think twice before messing with you again. Get a restraining order and also every time she makes false allegations and it costs you money with the lawyer sue her civilly for the money she is costing you
/r/Divorce_Men07/09/22 06:52 PM
4

It sucks but no one will pull you out of this. Lots of us have gone through some of this shit but do it for you and you only. She is taking care of what she needs to
/r/Divorce_Men07/09/22 02:55 AM
2

Lol awesome
/r/Divorce_Men05/09/22 11:37 PM
4

Good for you. I wish people posted more stories like this
/r/Divorce_Men05/09/22 11:31 PM

Totally agree she has a plan. You just need to fight back and attack her beliefs so she ll think twice about bugging you. Also make sure to build your own exit plan
/r/Divorce_Men05/09/22 02:59 PM
1

It works like that when women lock their man out of their own house
/r/Divorce_Men03/09/22 11:43 PM
2

Let her go and while she is gone get a tro change the locks. Go to court and get a court order to bring the kids back and in the mean time you keep the house while she can go figure out where to live
/r/Divorce_Men03/09/22 07:35 PM
3

Trust your gut if it doesn't feel right get out. If you can't be yourself get out if you don't see yourself with this person to be happy get out
/r/Divorce_Men03/09/22 02:28 PM

When I went thru with my breakup I had all the information I needed to make a decision no therapist can fix someone like my ex. We go to therapy just to appease the wife but deep down we know that we are right
/r/Divorce_Men01/09/22 06:53 PM

We are handicapped when it comes to arguing with women because we have a need to make sense. They don't care about making sense
/r/Divorce_Men31/08/22 06:06 PM
5

My advice is to go through the motions of the divorce mediation etc but don't give up easy for the important things just because that's the way it is that women get what they want. Fight for your things
/r/Divorce_Men29/08/22 12:58 AM
6

Put it this way it's your life now and the possibilities are endless just like before
/r/Divorce_Men28/08/22 10:43 PM
3

I would stay the course screw the tro. Look at it long term. Tro does not take away your kids
/r/Divorce_Men26/08/22 02:47 PM
1

Look at your options but if you leave the house you are never getting back in. Let her leave if possible so you can stay in your house. As far as what she says to the kid you can't control that
/r/Divorce_Men12/08/22 02:02 PM
4

Perfectly said. My advice is to take it day by day. Try to do different things and stay busy. Life is a state of mind. If you can find some strength to move forward it will help. If I was you I would do a driving trip for a few days. Driving keeps you busy and see different things
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 11:47 PM
2

Depends on your situation but when I decided to divorce a while back I removed my direct deposit and started getting a paper check which I cashed and put some aside plus changed my contribution to my 401k to less and changed my car these are a few things that I did but my divorce took time. Also I was veery adamant about not bending in mediation because I knew my ex would give up once she got frustrated
/r/Divorce_Men05/08/22 07:49 PM
1

I agree
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/22 09:32 PM
1

If you decide to divorce don't do it right now. Plan it out the best way financially. See if you can move some assets around slowly without telling her so it's not part of the settlement in the divorce. As far as alimony that sucks but at least you can hide some other money
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/22 06:29 PM
3

We as guys sometimes play the appeasing role and try to calm things down so eventually they will leave us be. Women on the other hand (not all of them) are on the attack in every which way. If I was you I would get a restraining order and get a good attorney so she would also get really nothing in the divorce
/r/Divorce_Men29/07/22 06:22 PM

Damn if you get married damn if you don't. I have read some horror stories. People really go through some real bad times financially and emotionally with divorces. You would think 20 years of marriage would at least be remembered for good times too. I am sorry you are going through this

I agree. Thank you
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 08:27 PM

I believe there is a bit of that too
