They murdered a baby/child (and brutally tortured and/or starved the child, if I recall correctly).

This is the correct answer. Moving out and lifting isn't going to help. And you don't need help. Crying is fine. Men can cry. Be strong when you need to, but you don't always need to be strong and tough.

Good for you! Try to go out to a few spots. Don't stick to one. Psychologically, when visiting a few places (think: coffee, ice cream, drinks, dinner, etc), it FEELS like like you've almost have had several dates. It helps out a lot. Pay for everything. And if/when she offers to pay, say, "maybe next time" or "this is on me. You can get ice cream next time :)". And you kind of already started setting up another date. Be yourself. Have fun. And good luck.

This article is great for people that have a tough time making friends, but not really for /r/seddit. More like a /r/introvert, if that exists. edit: RES filled it in for me. Looks like that exists.

people are going to say, "this works only if you're attractive". Not true, it works because you display confidence and it's out of the ordinary & unexpected

I have a gf now and have been out of the game for a while, but towards the end I've started using more direct approach. With proper confidence, I found this to work very well. Just go up to a girl and go, "Hey. I'm ____. You're the cutest girl ever, for real. Let's hang." Or whatever. And move from there. Strong eye contact is key. Or make it a hit and run type of thing. "Hey. You're so fucking cute. Let's get out for a drink sometime." Her (shocked): "Ummm. Okay(?)" You: "Cool, let me take your…

True. Lately I've favored direct approaches, so my line above is only good if that's what you're going for and usually when you don't have time to build rapport.
/r/seduction06/12/11 10:32 PM

I'd exclude the whole "gorgeous" line. It depends how you say it and the confidence you show. I used to use (got a gf now), "Hi, you're pretty much the cutest/most gorgeous girl ever. We should be friends / hang out / get drinks / whatever." and it worked all the time.

That's exactly how I imagine using it (and started to recently, thanks to this place)... to stop and look into their eyes, deeply, with a smile. To tell her her, with your eyes and smile, that you dig her... get her wondering if you like her.
/r/seduction16/11/11 03:58 AM

The only way this silence could backfire is if you are reading that they don't seem interested during your interaction. This makes a lot of sense. If you're leading a good/interesting/funny/insightful conversation, you control it and nothing can make it awkward. I'd imagine that creating a silence creates a great moment to look into her eyes and smile, almost like you're conveying to her that you dig her, and displaying confidence, like you know you already won her. If that makes sense.

Like they know you are that desirable and sense you are highly valued Yeah, that one. Girls know when you're confident, and that's the most attractive thing in the world. They will eye fuck you when they know that you walk tall, because they know you're desirable and highly valued.

I read this book recently and it helped a lot. Do something greate in life. Go for the hot girl, or for the promotion, or the raise.... or ask out that tirl you'v always wanted to. It will work one time, guaranted, and when it dose, you'lll never forget that feeling. And you will own it and know that you cna do anythiung. edit: I was hammered drunk when I wrote this. Do guys approach girls thinking, I want to be her friend? No. The only situation I could think of is if it's a friend of a friend and you're all out for drinks or something. But a completely random person that wants to be friends? Why? He doesn't even know you. So I'm gonna say, 95% of the time they're not looking for a simple friendship. To answer your question, I see this situation panning out... he says the "I just wanted to be friends" line, simply say "sorry" and walk away. Chances are if t…

".. why do girls ALWAYS think I'm hitting on them?! Just trying to make new friends." I like this. And agreed, if you do like the girl maybe you want to stick around instead of walking away - and you're so right - don't get pissed or be a dick about it. Just say no worries (however you want to word it) and continue with any conversation.
/r/seduction04/10/11 08:17 PM

"Sorry, I'm not interested" or even better, "Sorry, I have a boyfriend" If the guy isn't a fool or a douche, he'll simply say, "oh, no worries. cheers." and walk away.

I text all the time and it works VERY well. I took some advice from here and added my own twists to some of these ideas. It's golden. People hate on texting - and that's only because they're doing it wrong.

Do them in that order as soon as you see her. : ) just kidding. I would make a point not to make it excessive - don't repeatedly talk about other women or guys for her. It'll make it obvious to her what you're doing (she's not stupid) and it'll make it uncomfortable for her. No kino is pretty key. PROTIP for everyone: to see a girl and to not turn it into a relationship, talk no more than twice a week and hang out no more than once.
/r/seduction22/09/11 04:04 AM
1

Sit perpendicular Yep. 45° angle. Protip: on a date, try to sit perpendicular to her, but also face her back to a wall and preferably facing the door. Our blood pressure and anxiety automatically goes up when our back is to a crowd. This helps keep her as comfortable as possible.

I agree w/ you. That's the only one I somewhat doubted too. Faking it till you make it is a simple way for people to get over fear of rejection. It doesn't matter what strategy you use to talk to women (or men), but it is important to get over the fear of it, no matter how you accomplish that.

Be honest. Tell her what happened and she'll probably offer to drive. If not, tell her you'll need to reschedule. Car problems happen to everyone. Stop caring about it so much; it's not a big deal. She's a person who's probably owned a car too - she'll understand.

Just watched it and loved it. I think that's a pretty good date movie. On the other hand, someone mentioned Edward Scisorhands because nothing happens for 45 mins. That's 45 mins of joking, teasing, flirting, etc. A movie like 500 Days will keep both of you interested in the movie, which can be boring.

Yep - coming off as nervous is the better way to describe it. I've built up a great ability to open up any set of people w/o any fear of rejection, but I still come off as nervous or whatever because I speak quickly and seem too excited. I definitely gotta work on that.

The whole bit about you promised kind of sub-communicates lower value. Double texting with the "or... no :`( screams beta. Yeah, I think you're right. I was wondering about the 'you promised' thing. Makes me sound kind of desperate. I used it just so I could say, "no, i made that up"... just to be funny, but it's one of those text that I sent and immediately went, "oh shit... cancel! fuck... too late". You're probably right. Most of this may be better after a couple dates.

I'm glad you're taking the criticism in grace, as I'm only trying to help. That's why I posted this... so I can see what I did wrong. I'm here for constructive criticism, so I appreciate it. The goal here isn't to make it obvious you are chasing her, but to leave her wondering if you are. This makes her think about you. I like that... makes sense. Nice. Thanks for the great criticism. You were obviously chasing her, rather than just interacting with her Is there a problem with that? As long as you do it confidently (and playfully*, like I like to), does it matter if she knows your intentions are to 'get' her? A lot of the phone numbers I get, I just go up to a girl and go, "Hey, I'm Dan. You're cute as hell... drinks thurday?". HB8 grabs me, and says "You should take your shirt off." It's on. I tell her maybe, after we smoke some weed. Why didn't you just go for it there? Were you trying to play it like you didn't care... hard to get? This doesn't really make sense to me. You were already in... take it when it's there. No?

This isn't so much about being yourself - it's more about having confidence. She was receptive and she called because you looked her in the eye and smiled. You were honest and confident. Bitches love confidence.

I haven't used it yet, but think it could be good... catching eye contact from across the bar and sticking your tongue out at her to tease her, kind of like this. Or even using this move if you want to get really wild. Always followed by a big smile and laugh. Then go up and say 'hi, I'm _______'. I think it shows that you're not boring, don't care about how you look (are confident, I guess), etc. What do you think? Yay or nay?

Depends. A lot of the time I'll run into someone I went to high school or college with when out with friends during weekends. I'll flirt, get their number and set up a drink date. I try to make it very casual. "It's great to see you - it's been too long." She'll agree and I'll say, "Let's fix that. How about drinks next week?". It usually works. If I'm into the person, I'll make a point to get her out every other week or so. Like I said, I stay in 3 days a week (do gym after work, then chill), d…

I'll bite. I'm a web & graphic designer at a medium sized manufacturing company. Into computers, so have a few nerdy tendencies, but you wouldn't know by looking at or talking to me. I dress well, have a ton of friends (none of whom are nerdy) and usually have a girl that I'm seeing or working on. Not trying to brag or sound douchey, but I sort of have too many friends. This helped a lot, thanks man... and good work w/ the classmate. I said this in my other comment, but I focused on pick-up this weekend for my first time in a while. Friday, open up two 8-9s and did okay. They were gorgeous, nothing came of it, but they were into me. Even had 2 random dudes tell me, "wow man, that was awesome" afterwards. Bring a popsicle next time. Or just say hi and introduce yourself. Ask her what class she has and what professor. If she likes it, etc. Now you have topics of conversation to run with. "Oh, I took that class last semester. I hope your teacher's better than mine was." etc etc etc. Then ask her if she'd like a bite of your popsicle and as she leans in to get it, switch the popsicle out for your cock. BJ-close in 30 seconds. Alpha as fuck.

Why not? In the context, it's fine. Her: "Let me pay, you paid last time." You: "No, don't worry about it. I got this." Many times, she'll insist... Her: "Come on. Let me." You: "Alright, I'll cover this and you get the ice cream." Her: "Ice cream?" You: "Yep, there's a great place down the street." ...

You're being a dick. You should try smiling and tease him rather than just belittle him. Relevant to this and the conversation: People often mix up playful teasing and being an asshole. Negging doesn't mean "be an asshole", it usually involves making a sarcastic back-handed comment, but smiling so that she knows you're not being serious.

My ex got me a bottle of Armani Mania cologne. The next day in class and random chick behind me leaned over into my neck and told me that I smelled amazing. The day after, at a bar, a female friend told me that I smell like an orgasm while moaning into my ear. I never go out without wearing it. It's all about being subtle though - I definitely don't overdue it. That's a mistake.

A lot of people here are texting haters, but I almost always text first if I get someone's number and it works out very well for me. To me, it's more comfortable for them and gives you more time to come up with smooth responses.

number close = you get her phone number there's also kiss-closes and fuck-closes (there's another name for fuck closes, but I forget) HB8 = hot babe, an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Those aren't really explained in the sidebar, so I thought I'd help out.
/r/seduction07/12/10 09:59 PM

Yep. Time constraints are to make her feel like you're not there to bother her. If she thinks that you won't be there long and you plan on leaving soon, she'll be less threatened by your approach. Once you build report, time constraints don't apply.

the further you stretch it out, results in a more powerful 'snap' when you two finally do give into your carnal desires for each other And this is a beautiful thing! Also, the guys in the video posted in here (mystery kino video), they seem to let the girl think that they're not interested. I don't like that. I let them know I'm interested, but act like I'll still leave (even though they probably know I wouldn't give up that easily). But it's more playful that way. Act like I don't really care, …

Great advice. I like pushing them away if a girl cracks a joke/negs me. It's strange, but the more you push them away, the closer they get to you. Or if you neg them and they go, "ohhh, we're done" (jokingly), I'll push them away and say "later!". Yeah - I see your point. If you get rejected, don't take it the wrong way. That kiss can still happen. I think I just pictured the scene differently in my head. I pictured a guy leaning and and going, "come on, just one kiss", over and over. That's desperate and needy. There definitely is a difference. A girl has rejected a kiss from me on more than one occasion. A few of those occasions I've ended up sleeping w/ that same girl that night.

I've been on plenty of dates and I consider myself a pretty down-to-earth, nice and funny guy. No dates have ever 'gone wrong'. The worst that's happened is we don't find anything good to talk about and it's quiet/awkward. Or she's a crazy bitch. I always open building doors, etc. 2 doors, she's getting the 2nd one. I was more concerned about car doors. I feel like on a first or second date, doing the whole car door thing may be too much - like I'm trying too hard. (Also, I always opened the doo…

Beginners / Introverts: please do this beginner step. It's tough at first - nearly impossible - but once you start doing it, it gets easier and more comfortable. Step out of your comfort zone and do it. Someone on reddit once said something along the lines of, "you'll find happiness at the edge of your comfort zone". This is so true. I hope you guys can get out there and do it. It could be the best decision of your life. PS, OP, I LOVE this idea and hope it gains traction.

Your suggestions are great, but I don't see why it's gotta be at a club. I do fine with women, but I'll never go to a dance club to pick them up because I hate dance clubs. Why would I go out to a place I hate to do this when I can go to a bar I'd enjoy and accomplish the same thing? Either way, I love the 'assignment' idea and hope it sticks.

Maybe oversized is exagerated, but I'd wear something like these or these. I have a beach house, so I'm at house parties during the day all the time during the summer weekends, and girls always ask to wear them. I tell them something stupid like, "sure, but I look totally sexy in them, so you only have 4 minutes and I want them back" with a smile. And it always sparks longer conversation.

Yeah, if that's your style, fine, but doing something more subtle works too. I use oversized aviator sunglasses and they seem to work well (girls ask to wear them all the time and it always sparks conversation).

He is. He's also one of the most known PUAs out there. That's Mystery.

"I've never lived closer to danger, but I've never felt safer. I've never felt more confident, and people could spot it from a mile away. And as for this, the violence? I gotta be honest - it grew on me. Once you've taken a few punches and realize you're not made of glass, you don't feel alive unless you're pushing yourself as far as you can go." Ignore extreme peacocking. You don't need to look like this to get girls. Peacock if you'd like, but you can be more subtle about it. It doesn't require ridiculous furry hats.

Thanks! Here's what clothes/gym did do - it gave me more confidence. It gave me the confidence to talk to better looking girls. Beforehand I could do great with lesser-attractive girls but fail w/ HBs. Now I'll talk to the hottest girl at the bar with no problem. It also gave me confidence to touch them more and to ask for their phone number, etc. So although it's not 100% why I started winning more, it was the first stepping block towards it (for me at least).

Point taken. I used to be a lot heavier into seduction and have read many materials, so I do have a good grasp on more internal factors (displaying confidence, dhv, body language, kino, voice projection, negging or being playful, etc). So you're right - my recent success hasn't been 100% due clothing and losing some weight.

That site's blocked (I'll check it out later) and I don't have time to read his blog at work, so I apologize if I didn't answer his question. I recently took the above advice and have done nothing else to learn seduction techniques. I wear better-fitting clothes and lost 15lbs the past 2 months. I feel great and I've been pulling phone numbers like hell this summer. It's awesome. Now I just gotta wait for the right one to come around...

Hit the gym and buy better fitting clothes. Auto-confidence ++ Clothes: take a look at how the men's shirts fit here. It's probably a size or two smaller than the current shirt you're wearing. Go buy a few shirts that fit more like you see in this image. Gym: go there. edit: spelling

I love getting negged by a girl. It shows that they're funny and have a good personality. To me, it's a complete turn on.

Tits / Ass / Face is about all a woman has to attract a man. I disagree. This past weekend I was talking to a girl that I wasn't particularly attracted to, at all. But she was nice and we chatted for a while. Anyway, we built a great report and we're going out on Thurs. I can't wait. Sidenote: I'm outgoing. I talk to people. Get phone numbers, but almost never call. This is one of the first people that seems worth calling in a long time. tl;dr: looks are certainly important, but it's not 100% ab…

if the bf had strong game THEN THESE WOMEN WOULD NOT TALK TO ME !! It has nothing to do with their bf having game. They talk to you either because: 1) they're just friendly people 2) they're unhappy in their relationship. And if that's the case, no one with think you're a bastard for being a catalyst in their breakup process. She's wanted to do it for a long time and he probably sucks.
