That’s the issue. I have tried. I have no family left. No help from any one. I’ve contacted several realtors but with no luck. Everything and I’m everything revolves around credit. My ex destroyed mine. I’ve been trying to fix my credit the best I can but it’s costly and time consuming. The divorce cost me over 75k.

Have 2 kids and 2 dogs. Unfortunately I don’t think that will work.

She slept with my brother for 3 years, kept it a 12 year secret. Had to do paternity tests on both of my daughters. Have no idea why she is the one mad. I should be furious but I’m not. I’m actually quite relieved.

Marriage is a prison. Divorce is my way out. I go to the gym and I’m trying to get back into an old hobby. Definitely want to stay out of real prison.

No value. Still going through divorce and yeah, she added no value. All I need is myself and my daughters.

Wow! I had to do a paternity test on my 2 kids because of her cheating. Both conceptions were during that time line. Luckily both are mine.

Wrote him off and working on the divorce now. Not in jail because I have 2 daughters.

Same here. Cold has hell. She cheated on me with my brother. I’m keeping whatever self respect and dignity I have left. She took enough from me. Enjoyed my high and went back to my movie.

Thanks for the advice. I already started with the gym and therapy. Plus the chiropractor to final handle that pain. I’ll look into the massage.

No dating for me. No way. Not after what she put me through. Months of therapy and I’m finally starting to see everything better. Starting to feel like me.

Divorce Attorney! Fast! In the middle of a divorce myself. Fair warning, it’s not easy and not cheap depending on circumstances. I’m 4 months in at 12k so far and not even to mediation yet. My situation is quite unique. She had a 3 year affair with my brother, kept it a 13 year secret, allowed me to chose him as the godfather to my oldest and the best man at the wedding. Oh, and both daughters were conceived during the affair. I had to do paternity tests on them. Luckily it came back as good new…

Sounds exactly like my stbx

Still in the process of divorce but my stbx is the same way. She has violated the standing order multiple times and hates that I follow it exactly. Says they shouldn’t apply to her because she is the one that filed yet she is the one that had the affair.

I live in Florida. I will look those laws up. Thanks for the info.

Actually it’s all the opposite. She started working when she filed. She just got a promotion and a raise. The gap is minimal. I know about the formula. Lawyer has been very honest and no surprises for me but there will be for her. I already carry the insurance so no change there. And the courts already stated it’s going to be 50/50. And actually she is the abuser. Like I said all the opposite. Never judge before you know the facts. So yes it is different. But I appreciate the “support”.

Lucky for me I live in a 50/50 state. She only gets child support which is extremely minimal. The state will automatically award 50/50 shared custody. She is responsible for her financial stuff when she gets the kids and I’m financially responsible while I have them. Anything additional is shared financially 50/50. She is not entitled to alimony (new laws helped with that). The courts/state is very strict with that regardless what happened between the two of us.

Only thing she is getting is child support. New laws prevent her from getting alimony.

I assure you it’s very true and it’s hell! Therapy twice a week. The pain, anxiety, depression, PTSD. It’s real. The paternity test is gonna be scary.

I do believe my story should be heard. I will consult with my lawyer and get back to you. Still in the middle of the divorce so I have to be careful.

I agree!!!
/r/Divorce_Men14/08/23 02:23 PM

Correct. But doing a paternity test and still choosing to be there Dad after knowing will go a long way especially if she knew and withheld that info from me.

Therapy twice a week is help but it’s still hard.

Already have the lawyer. Working on the paternity test.

Nope. She wants the house, the truck, the kids, child support and six different types of alimony.

I haven’t talked to my biological father in almost 10 years and my mother in almost 2 years. Already have a great attorney that is going to crush her. Paternity test is ordered.

The state I live in, It’s a split everything 50/50 no fault state. No alimony. Custody is 50/50 and assets are 50/50. She is working and has to pay her own legal fees.

No remorse. It’s all about the money to her.

That’s only some of it. Ended up with PTSD from everything. She was also abusive, attacked me and even came at me with a certain sharp object. I never reported it because she had another affair with a sheriff. How do I report that and have them believe me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
