I don't care what one man from 1945 had to say. Things have demonstratably deterioted for men in the past decade or so.

Women were "financially emancipated" to do shit jobs because a lot had little work history or marketable skills. As stated in my post, the earnings gap has also plateaued, so to the extent that it was happening in the past it likely hasn't changed all that much in the past few decades.

And frankly there is data besides OLD, according to this research paper, about 30% of adult men in 2018 reported no partnered sexual activites in the past year compared to around 20% in 2009: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8604196/#:~:text=Frequencies%20of%20LCA%20Class%20membership%20for%20adolescent%20and%20adult%20participants%20in%20the%202009%20and%202018%20National%20Survey%20of%20Sexual%20Health%20and%20Relationships%20waves%2C%20presented%20by%20gender (Class 1 means no par…

Why should online dating be excluded? According to research from Stanford(that has been discussed here extensively) it is the most common way couples meet now. And that's not even including less commited relationships.

Is it more "messed up" than any other aesthetic preference?

American women have overwhelmingly been financially emancipated since at least the 90s. Female labor force participation and the earnings gap have both plateaued.

it’s more like i just want everyone to have a good life and live how they want, even if i want to live nothing like them I don't think most left-leaning women would disagree with that, except more devoted and outspoken feminists.

I think a lot of ethnic women have a huge chip on their shoulder when it comes to white female beauty. The only equivalent in men would probably be some asian guys being jealous of white guys, because of how common WMAF relationships are.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 11:21 PM

that's your opinion. The vast majority of people on this planet define "man", "woman", "gir", and "boy" based on biological sex. Only brain-dead western progressives validate transsexuals.

figures, it seems to me like women/gay men don't care about curves as much. for me personally she's like a 9 as well because i'm like you guys in that respect, but i think i'm in the minority among straight men. most value curves for the raw sex appeal. also her face is more masculine which is generally more "girl pretty" and not "guy pretty" IME

You don’t see the fact that attractive women get more attention, grace and effort put into pursuing them by men than unattractive women Probably, but whether it's the same men pursuing these women is more up to debate. And you only addressed the first half of my comment.

Source: "I made it up" Why are women evil when they do the same? I don't think giving less to your partner makes you a bad person but being a parasite does. And women are more likely, and able, to be parasitic towards less attractive men because you take advantage of their desperation.

You can put whatever you want in a prenup, doesn't mean courts will enforce it. And they almost never enforce any lifestyle/interpersonal related clauses in prenups like the ones you suggested.

Would you believe me and say oh sorry my bad or would you assume I was lying? Yes, if you said that law enforcement data is an accurate indication of the prevalence of sexual violence against women I would believe you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:05 PM
2

Those things generally aren't considered enforceable even if you put them in a prenup, at least not in the US.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:00 PM

I think women who make 40-60k wanting a man who makes at least as much as them have r more is completely reasonable. Reason: economy sucks shits expensive, and if you don’t wanna be on the struggle bus you need a reasonable HHI or at the very least not live in a HCOL area. Being a parasite is "reasonable" just because the economy sucks?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 06:59 PM

Your sample is far from representative. According to Pew, husbands are the sole or clear primary(>60% of household income) earner in around half of US marriages, even for childless married coupples. https://www.pewresearch.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/20/2023/04/st_2023.04.13_breadwinner-wives_03.png

Striking out "animal" is the important part here. Humans are different. Humans are animals. Animals are diverse, but humans are not fundamentally different from any other animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 06:41 PM
1

Those arguments are all factually correct and I would bet money that you accept them, at least when it comes to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 06:35 PM
2

All of those figures are from law enforcement data. Ironic considering how feminists like you consistently argue that most rapes aren't reported, that law enforrcement data underestimates the prevalence of rape, and rely on self-reported data when it comes to the prevalence of female victims. I wonder why those talking points go out the window when it's men in question.

It kind of is, by definition.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 06:37 PM

I don't think they "need" to be per se. But as I said, women interested in athletics want to be able to reasonably complete, so these organizations were created to fulfill that desire. It's the same reason why we don't have children competing against adults, why little league baseball exists, etc. Especially considering that women don't support women's sports (WNBA is a net negative and subsidized by the NBA) Well that's just one example. There are plenty of other women's sports.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 06:36 PM
2

It really wouldn't be, women would get stomped in the vast majority of them. It would be boring for men who want to see high level competition, and demoralizing for women seeing their sex get annihilated.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 06:32 PM
2

IMO it's not "unfair" per se for MtF transsexuals to compete against women, it wouldn't be unfair for normal men to do so either. They're playing by the same rules and if males win it's because they're simply more athletic, the fact that their advantages are sex-related are irrelevant, it's no different than any other biological/genetic advantage. But the purpose of women's sports is to give women a chance to reasonably compete, and a chance at winning, given their physical disadvantages. Withou…

There is no such thing as "objectively attractive". Beauty is a value judgement.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 02:37 PM

I think for most men it would depend on how attractive they are, to an extent. Same for women too honestly, but of course they are more discerning.

This subreddit is more about gender/ideological wars than male dating strategy. The self-identified RP guys may very well accept and/or practice all of the things you listed, except the last one obviously. But the intricacies of male dating strategy just aren't frequently discussed here.

What if the person they accused was one of your close friends or family members? When it comes to rape, the burden of proof to me is on the rapist to prove they didn’t rape How would you expect them to prove that? If I was alone in a bedroom with someone, with no one watching, and I made up an accusation that they touched my penis against my will, how are they supposed to exonerate themselves?

Whereas "I think our relationship has issues and we arent compatible sexually. If the situation doesnt improve I think it's best to break up" To me, the tone of this statement may be different but the substance is more or less the same. This would be universally understood to mean that they intend to break up if you keep refusing sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 01:57 AM

If they admit to rape, they get charged. Admitting that the physical act of intercourse happened is not "admitting rape". The suspect may very well, and probably did, claim it was consensual. Women who have been given date rape drugs can’t remember, either, do you feel unconscious women can’t be raped I didn't say that, did I? But the jury needs to understand if and how they were influenced by alcohol/drugs at the time of the alleged incident. Because that can affect their memory and recollectio…

"you have sex with me or I drop you off the side of the road at night/in a dangerous area/middle of nowhere where you cant get another ride" What about an ultimatum like "have sex with me or we're done"? Would you consider that coercion?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 01:15 AM
-2

So 25,000+ rape kits can sit untested? In how many of these cases did the suspect admit to the physical act of intercourse, rendering DNA testing redundant? or how much she drank? This is absolutely relevant, if they were drunk at the time they may not have an accurate and complete recollection of the events.

men are rape victims and false accusers too Considering how little public awareness there is of female-perpetrated sexual assault against men(well, except for statutory rape cases), I don't think an adult man would have much to gain from publicly accusing a woman of assaulting him. He's more likely to be laughed at. Also, an even bigger chunk of false accusations (not just of rape) are not as a result of intentional lying/deception - but as a result of fuzzy memory, mental illness or other facto…

I have to agree with feminists here that not every victim wants to file a criminal complaint. Most probably don't. The entire process is definitely taxing.

Do I think that it is in any way reasonable to call his action by the same word and punish with the same punishment as a stranger who intercepted a 16-year-old jogger in a dark alley and impregnated her against her will, while she was crying, trying to scratch his eyes out, and calling for mommy? - Absolutely not. I think this is a massive understatement. If all they did was "ask for sex twice"(unless you're leaving something out), there is absolutely nothing criminal and arguably nothing object…

The same few topics involving "what do women like", "man or bear", household division of labor, etc. are getting stale. It's time to spice things up.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 12:59 AM
4

I'm aware of that, but from what I've read monetary restitution is rare in sexual assault convictions. And if they were really after the bag, an lawsuit would be way easier due to the lower evidentiary burden.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 12:56 AM
4

But at the end of the day I think 90% of people will make a judgement based on their relationship with the victim or the accused. I would be lying if I said this bias doesn't apply to me, but I do try my best to separate my personal attachments from judgement in interpersonal disputes between others. If a random girl I've met twice accuses a close male friend of mine who I trust, who's house I've been drink at, who I have been alone with for extended periods of time with etc Then yeah I'm believ…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 12:53 AM
5

Monetary gain is probably only applicable in cases where they sue the accused. Regret is something I haven't considered, but given the reaction to my last post I should have. It seems plausible that a woman may feel extreme regret/upset after consensual sex, especially if they were intoxicated or verbally pressured, and label the encounter "rape". Even though this isn't aligned with the legal definitions of rape/SA.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 12:49 AM
2

Gains are not necessarily financial. Someone may lie to get revenge, to cover up infidelity or premarital sex(especially in more conservative cultures), to gain an advantage in a custody dispute, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 12:44 AM

atheist but from a religious family This is odd. Why does the second part matter? a smoker <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 12:38 AM

That would mean the legal definition of consent remains. And what "legal definition" would you be referring to? I've cited actual case law of appeal court judges outlining legal guidelines re. intoxication and consent. You haven't. Why would it be a crime to drive drunk? Because your motor function is impaired, which makes you dangerous to others when driving a vehicle. I also can't go to work drunk. I would get struck off. Because your boss says so, probably because they think being drunk at wo…

Your note I initially showed the trial was thrown out due to an admin error the judge made. Trails are thrown out all the time due to admin errors that the judge made a mistake. As I said, these judges' mistakes don't mean the law has been overturned. And? What's your point? Why is this relevant? Rape which is sex without consent, is bad. And drunk people can be capable of consenting to sex. Legally, and ethically. We generally hold people responsible for other decisions they make while drunk, s…

but you clearly are concerned about how women view men who behave this way. Yes, I am concerned with people describing consensual sex as rape or sexual assault. It's different to merely dislike and look down on men who pursue drunk women, I don't care if you want to feel that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 10:51 PM
2

.08 ACL I have never, ever, seen a single instance where a court or a statute used the blood alcohol limit for driving to determine questions of intoxication and sexual consent. It's irrelevant. If you have any examples I'd love to see them, but I really doubt that you do. Because everything you're saying is so blatantly incorrect, that you're either making this all up or you read it from some pop culture/feminist source. And you're conflating what they think counts as "rape" or "sexual assault"…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 10:44 PM
1

You’re asking people not to judge you for certain actions just because they might be technically legal Where did I say this? Where did I even mention myself in this post? Not sure why you’d even want to have sex with women who don’t really want to have sex with you There are plenty of johns and sugar daddies on this planet, you should go ask them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 10:37 PM
2

Legally someone over the legal limit What "legal limit"? But LEGALLY coercion is classified as a form of sexual assault with a broad definition of what that entails. Coercion can be at gunpoint or it can be gradually waring down your boundaries (groomer behavior in some contexts.) Can you cite any statute or case law that defines the latter as sexual assault, for the purposes of criminal law?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 10:33 PM
2

that ignores the spirit of laws What is the "spirit of the law" here, to you? You cannot be considered to be making a free decision when drunk Why not? nor when being pressured into a decision. So long as you are reasonably able to decline, then why not? why do you want to have sex with someone who is anything less than 100% into it from a totally clear and sober-minded perspective Where did I say that?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 10:31 PM

I did not cite the trial decision by Judge Lenehan, I cited the appeal court decision. And the person who wrote that was a feminist law professor, with clear and obvious biases. Not a judge. Also, one judges discussion does not make the law. It doesn't, but the standard established in R. v. Al-Rawi was also accepted by the appeal courts in Ontario and Saskatchewan, and lower courts throughout the province. This is the prevailing and most recent standard throughout Canada. The Sexual Offences Act…

I think it’s pretty reckless to pay precisely zero attention to the body language of someone you are having sex with. I think it’s pretty reckless to have no awareness of your own body language and how it might make her feel forced to say ‘yes’. Then your personal definition of "reckless" behavior is substantially lower than the prevailing legal standards. In no court would not picking up on subtle and highly subjective facial expressions or body language be considered "reckless", especially in …

The trial judge's error was not conducting an inquiry as to whether the complainant was in fact too drunk to consent. But the appeal court affirmed that drunk people may still have the capacity to consent, one of the main points of my post. And the guidelines they issued are roughly in line with what I described in the OP: [66] Therefore, a complainant lacks the requisite capacity to consent if the Crown establishes beyond a reasonable doubt that, for whatever reason, the complainant did not hav…

Idk man, it seems pretty reasonable to me If their sexual partner was outwardly expressing consent then how could you conclude that they didn't care about consent? We still charge people with manslaughter even when they ‘didn’t mean to hurt anyone’. Manslaughter also requires a degree of mens rea, either recklessness(involuntary manslaughter) or intention to harm that unintentionally results in death(voluntary manslaughter). Why don't you want to accept them? Because there are other definitions. And the definitions you provided don't align with the well ordinary definition of "coercion". That's because your entire post is about semantics. My post is about 1) The law on sexual assault and sexual consent 2) How we ought to understand the concept of consent Neither of which are semantic.

2 and 4 are ridiculous, touching is a fairly standard part human behavior, especially in intimate contexts. Staring is as well. Their intent was to have sex - regardless of whether or not their ‘partner’ consented It's unreasonable to draw this conclusion, especially if the fearful partner outwardly communicated consent.

I mean "sexual misconduct" is a very broad term, I don't think it should be introduced to this conversation. Cheating on your spouse is "sexual misconduct". Sleeping with your boss to try and get a promotion is "sexual misconduct".

Because pressuring someone into having sex is still vile, deplorable behavior Did I say otherwise? you're actually trying to slightly change the definitions in your OP (e.g. You say "in the absence of force, threats of violence, or confinement, one can reasonably continue to refuse the requests and/or extricate themselves from the situation", but all of those things very much fall under the definition of sexual coercion). I don't necessarily have to accept the definitions you provided. Some dict…

I live in Canada, and the case law here aligns with what I described in my post. Judges have generally ruled that intoxicated people are capable of consenting to sex so long as they are cognizant of what they're doing.

certain men who know this wouldn’t take advantage of the fact that they can use their size/body language I'm quite skinny and definitely weaker than the majority of men. I wonder if I could argue that any contract or exchange I enter into with a physically stronger man was actually "coerced" because of the disparity in strength. Correct, only in the sense that it would be a victim who had sex only because they were afraid. There’s no jail to get out of for them. You do know what a metaphor is, r…

Yes, it's difficult to argue because it's difficult to prove. It's difficult to argue because the legal bar is very high. You can't sign the contract correctly because you can't consent, that's the important feature here. No, disputes over the validity of a contract rarely hinge on "consent". There are many more conditions in addition to consent required for a legally valid contract such as capacity, consideration, conscionability. In the case of intoxication, a contract may be voided on the bas…

That is coercion. She said yes but what was the alternative. Stranded on the side of the road with a possible bear but at least not raped. The "alternative" could be to either call a cab, hitchhike, or walk. And the pertinent question shouldn't be what the consequences would be for her, but rather whether he has a right to do what is threatening to do. In this case, I think the owner of a car has the right to decide who gets to ride in it. When a doctor charges you for cancer treatment, is he "c…

Generally speaking being drunk while signing will not void a contract, it's very difficult to successfully argue that in court. And contracts are fundamentally different from sexual encounters in that enforcement of the contract requires action from the state, and that is entirely at the discretion of the state. The state can refuse to enforce a contract for any reason, whether statutory(some types of contracts are defined by statute as legally unenforceable) or common law. And the legal bar for…

If you “agree” to have sex out of fear, that’s not consent If they did not act in a way that would reasonably be known to instill fear, then they would be justified in assuming that you were freely consenting. "I was afraid" is not a legal get-out-of-jail free card, nor should it be.

The women you’re talking about aren’t arguing that it’s a crime Plenty of people do mistakenly believe that it's a crime, actually. And if there’s an accepted legal framework that drunkenness does not equal consent From what I have read it's very unlikely to successfully a void a contract due to voluntary intoxication. "Sexual assault" is sometimes used as a euphemism for rape. Regardless, everything I said here is equally applicable to non-penetrative sexual acts. It's just that society pays substantially less attention to say, a drunk women making out with someone, vs. a drunk woman having intercourse with someone.

Um sounds like force to me. Legally it's not considered force, and when rape was defined as a crime requiring force, these types of situations did not meet the legal threshold for "rape". Darwinian evolution was broadly accepted decades before DNA sequencing. And even today much of evolutionary science does not rely on genetics, because 1) DNA doesn't preserve well in the fossil record 2) We have a poor understanding of how most genes express themselves in the phenotype, especially in other animals.

It would be more "equal" than one parent having absolutely no way to opt out of parenthood after conception. And most abortions today are medication abortions, all you do is swallow a pill. You make it see so dramatic.

Some food for thought, if so many people argue that women's role in reproduction is so critically important that they should be exempt from mandatory military service, then by that logic why shouldn't women be forced to reproduce? Especially if a country has been depopulated by war.

It's not racist in of itself but I'd wager it's correlated with other racist attitudes. And even if it's strictly because you don't find their features attractive, and not for other reasons, well that can still easily lead to racial bias because attractive people get treated better, in virtually all respects of life. Women call it "pretty privilege".

I don't think most progressives would argue that there's anything wrong with heterosexual men not being interested in MtFs. They would probably agree that anatomy/appearance is a valid preference, and affirm your right to pursue who you want, but if you were to characterize that attraction as anything other than "straight" or "heterosexual" they wouldn't like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 05:09 AM

Characterizing male attraction towards MtF transsexuals as anything other than "straight" IS implicitly questioning their female identity.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 04:48 AM

i think a man who is into a trans woman with a penis is more likely to be bi v a man who’s into a fully transitioned trans woman. Publicly saying this is very likely to get you cancelled for "transphobia" in current year.

Facial hair is a masculine trait, breasts are a feminine trait, etc. I initially wanted to say that sexual orientation is based on attraction to masculine/feminine physical traits but I didn't want to …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 04:37 AM

I think banning abortion likely wouldn't be too disruptive with free universal contraception. And at least in the US there'd likely be enough infant adoption demand for those who get unlucky. It's a shame Republican states haven't gone ahead and implemented this, would have definitely helped mitigate the outcry.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 04:32 AM

I go outside and I see the same indignance from Africans here, in Canada. And it's especially amusing because most of them are recent immigrants from Africa, they're more likely to have slavers in their family tree than slaves.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 04:27 AM

A normal woman with some masculine traits is still recognizably female. Now, say we have a biological male who identifies as a woman, but hasn't yet undergone any feminizing procedures or treatment. It would be fair to say that any man who finds this person sexually attractive probably shouldn't be considered heterosexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 04:08 AM

Classifying sexual orientation merely based on the self-identification of the individuals one is attracted to is a very narrow-minded perspective. Rather, most sex researchers who study this topic would affirm that sexual orientation is based on attraction to masculine/feminine traits.

The fact that women end up doing more housework even with earning more The vast majority of married women do not outearn their husbands. I find it very hard to sympathize with people who complain about "too much choice" when if they wanted to, they could easily fix that by taking a random smaller subset and choosing from that. You define fundamental parts of life as those necessary to the survival of the individual organism As someone who is interested in evolutionary biology, I don't see it that way. Depends on a number of factors, especially self-defense and mutual combat, both of which are not relevant to sexual assault cases. I will say injuries are more compelling evidence for physical assault than "rape kits" are for sexual assault, because people do not frequently consent to physical fighting to the point of injury. And in the limited circumstances they do it's often fairly obvious they did, such as in contact sports or in a bar fight with third party witnesses. Whereas people do frequ…

And many times men will opt not to because they've been conditioned since birth to avoid using force against women, even in self-defense. Not to mention the legal risks he subjects himself to. Who do you think the cops will believe if she complains to them?

A lot of females seem to have trouble accepting the prevalence of female-perpetrated sexual assault whenever I cite the statistics, because they don't think women can physically overpower men. And while this is true most of the time, that's not necessary for sexual assault. If you ignore someone's clear refusal that's sexual assault, and women often do just that. Men have been conditioned since birth to refrain from using force against women, and risk severe legal consequences for doing so, even…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 02:11 AM

The CDC NISVS has found that rates of American men being "made-to-penetrate" within the past year are anywhere between 60-100% of the rates of American women being "raped", depending on the year. And this is with their flawed survey definitions that rely on "force" which is not a necessary component of SA, and which realistically women are far less likely to use. And I don't think IPV is a result of sexual desire, but for what it's worth there's a lot of research to suggest that women are as phy…

If it really is posted here constantly then linking it should be easy for you. Otherwise, well, a lot of Pew articles get posted here so I have no idea which one you are talking about. Also, if that data is on the actual prevalence of significant age gaps, that's not great evidence regarding attraction since there are other factors that inhibit these types of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 02:39 AM

Very few younger women are sexually attracted to older men, it’s as niche as any fetish and like all fetishes: there is something problematic behind it deviations from the norm. Do you have any data to support this?

Yes, older women tend to prioritize raising children over their careers. The closing of the "wage gap" has basically stagnated over the past two decades. I don't see it closing significantly more unless men are subject to intense pressure to do more housework and childcare(likely while still contributing the majority of household income) or sex-based affirmative action hiring grows substantially.

Even the 'bad' humanities degrees lead to higher pay. Is the relationship necessarily causal? And as I said already, does this account for oppurtunity cost and the cost of tuition? Humans are often described by paleoanthropologist as "neotenous" compared to other great apes for example, humans generally have smaller jaws, human males have much smaller canines, etc. And human females are more "neotenous" than human males, having larger foreheads for instance, and smaller jaws, etc.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to teach people not to have sex when they’re wasted or when their partner is wasted. This is different from labelling it as sexual assault. If they don’t remember it in the morning, they might have been raped - and they wouldn’t remember that. I think it's more important to teach that just because you don't remember it doesn't mean you didn't consent at the time.

Colleges are doing society a huge disservice by teaching that drunk people cannot consent to sex. Common law jurisdictions have generally reached a legal consensus that someone would have to be intoxicated to the point of unconsciousness or something close to that for them to be considered incapable of consent. In Canada where I live, the accepted standard is that if someone is lucid, understands that they are having sex in the moment, and willingly participates, then it was consensual. Someone …

bruh She said that Jerry should get over it and that he likely caused her to cheat. That’s when I snapped. I told my girlfriend she was gross and disgusting for saying that, after Jerry had treated her like a sister since day 1. Then I told her I was disappointed in her as a person and her mom (who died before we met) would also be disappointed in her. She has no values as a human and it’s no surprise she couldn’t make it in medical school. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

slight discomfort. That's one hell of an understatement. I've been hit by lots of women God damn. And women here still refuse to believe that more often than not, they're the ones instigating violence 🙄. You can do what you want, but men should never feel obliged to hold back if their partner starts hitting them. A swift knock to the head is the simplest and safest way to end it, and she'd be no worse for wear.

People call out the deaths of innocent black men because they happen disproportionately more than with white men. And black women. Cops aren’t often in a standoff with women to begin with, and that’s the main reason people don’t bring up the male part. And why don't cops confront women as much? There’s such a disproportionately larger amount of men in those extreme situations Many of these killings didn't involve any "extreme situations", like Eric Garner(arrested because they thought he was sel…

Did any of them drop a nuclear bomb? No? Exactly. The US killed a few hundred thousand Japanese civilians in their bombing campaign. The Japs murdered MILLIONS of civilians in Asia in their campaigns and occupations. What does that have to do with the atrocities and rape white people committed? They did that of their own free will. I'll spell it out for you then: were African kings and warlords not committing similar atrocities when they captured and sold slaves to European slave traders? Yes, there is a great comparison to be made here actually! Prejudice is dangerous, especially if those people holding it certain positions of power. If a woman is fearful of and prejudiced towards men, what do you think might happen if she decides to become a police officer, and has to deal with men on a daily basis, many of whom will be dangerous, without it being obvious which ones? As if it's not happening already anyways(with cops of both sexes). Those cops who shot those black men were fear…

It's curious how you keep dodging the question. Do you or do you not think it's acceptable to profile individuals based on race, on the basis that some racial groups are substantially more likely to commit violence than others? Moreover, the FBI crime data I've seen also indicates that black women are similarly likely to be criminal as white men, and substantially more likely to be criminal than Asian men. Race in many cases is as strong of a predictor as sex.

though I'm sure you're aware some violent nutbar Homeless NYC crackheads are about as far from representative of the average man as you can get. All things that could have curbed aggression like this.

This is true, but the vast majority of male violence is directed towards other men and when you look at violence between the sexes, especially IPV and sexual violence(things feminists focus on and often portray as strongly gendered), there's a lot more parity. Women are definitely more likely be victimized by a man than another woman, but unfortunately they often ignore/downplay the fact that men are also quite likely to be victimized by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 12:49 AM

If fearing men is "statistically valid" then so is fearing black people. I think some metrics indicate that black women are even more likely to be criminal than white men.

In 55% of marriages, the husband is the sole or primary breadwinner. A majority, but a slim one. 48% of wives with at least a bachelor's make as much (33%) or more (19%) than their husbands. Where did you get these figures from?

I disagree, a SAHM mom is much more free than the average 9-5 on-site job because you're constantly being monitored. Even if you have no work to do you have to make an effort to look busy. And IME(being at home with my mom and little brother) it's mostly just watching the kid while they do their own thing. My friend that makes 6 figures with 2 kids and a stay at home wife told us that although he doesn't think a stay at home mom is the hardest job like some people claim, it's sure as hell harder…

It is acknowledged. Not from what I've seen. It's simply not equal to the labor/ time/ effort put in by his partner. Value is normative. By any logical, reasonable metric, a cost benefit analysis will always show that a partner working a paid job full time (35-42 hours per week) is not contributing as much worth to the relationship as a partner doing the domestic labor and primary parenting. I've believed for a while now that women have evolved behavioral drives to try and extract as much as possible from their male sexual/romantic partners. This was traditionally understandable(somewhat) given the evolutionary context, where raising human offspring required extreme maternal investment. The speaker views neck beards and rednecks negatively, but not because of the beard or the sunburned neck. It is about attitude, lifestyle and world views that are commonly associated with the terms. They chose "neckbeard" for a reason, because they consider it to be an example of poor grooming and partially attribute their lack of success with women to it.

I don't doubt that there are social/professional consequences for women for showing armpit hair but it's rarely explicit. The research is right there, if you're willfully blind to it then there's nothing I can say that will change your mind.

Your personal preferences on what makes a man desirable are irrelevant to this topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 03:25 AM

The incel wiki contains plenty of research to support their beliefs, if you're asking to see the evidence it's all there. Their critics have jack shit.

Men are significantly less commitment-oriented than women are. I think you struggle to empathize with the opposite sex. Even some women though, are increasingly rejecting marriage and motherhood.

Good thing the world doesn't revolve around you then. Many decent guys in their 30s and 40s are unmarried by choice 🤷‍♂️

People still go to malls?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 01:55 AM

Oh, do actions have effects over the internet? What's your point in asking this? So, a world where there is little accountability or consequences reflects reality? Discussions are more likely to be truthful in an environment where people are less afraid of consequences for what they say.

I didn't say anything about desirable older guys being undesirable in their youth.

Bullshit and cope. Desirable people can choose to delay marriage/commitment or reject it altogether.

Everything you wrote is the perfect explanation of why many single, desirable, older guys go for younger women. Do desirable, single, older women exist? Maybe, but they aren't very common.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 01:20 AM

So? The fact remains that the internet is words, not actions. Words can indicate actions and behavior. If someone states that they behave a certain way or have a certain preference, I would give them the benefit of the doubt unless they have an incentive to lie(which is frankly a lot of the time). And there are plenty of studies published on the internet that support incels claims about women, studies that examine both womens words and their actions. And you can’t punch anyone through a screen, …

Counter evidence to the evidence being presented by incels to support their worldview. If you're claiming that they're "cherry-picking" evidence(excluding/ignoring a large amount of evidence that contradicts their claims) you need to provide examples of the evidence being excluded.

If you eat organs as well, animal flesh provides the vast majority of essential macro and micro nutrients. And you don't need to eat a large amount of plant food to obtain enough essential micronutrients. A single chili pepper for instance, meets the RDA for Vitamin C. The purported health risks of red meat and saturated fat have been greatly exaggerated, and research generally doesn't account for things like cooking method (some research suggests it's specifically high heat cooking of red meat …

By the same logic African-Americans are "Schrodingers criminals" because of their disproportionate perpetration of crime. And Muslims are "Schrodingers terrorists" because of their disproportionate perpetration of and support for terrorism. But somehow profiling groups is only acceptable when it comes to one group: men.

Acting repulsed/disgusted is significantly less bad than calling someone a creep, perv, predator, etc. It doesn't matter if you think they're a "creep" in your head, it's the labels that cause harm.

He didn't' say that she was ugly, he said that he didn't find her body attractive. If you're not attracted to your partner anymore for whatever reason, to the point where it's significantly impacting your relationship, the only way forward is honesty.

The gym is primarily for building muscle, not losing weight. Even for a lot of women now these days.

Astrology, like all other religion, is dumb. But at least the adherents of traditional religions can be excused to an extent since most were brainwashed from birth. Women and astrology is just pure, unadulterated, retardation.

It was all based on a lie. Not by the kid, sure, but a lie all the same. Bonds are not invincible and can be broken. but they clearly have none for the kid Not wanting to raise a kid that's not yours doesn't mean you don't empathize or sympathize. Raising a kid is a big burden. If I were in that situation I would rather start fresh.

The first one isn't about men, it's about women, saying that they will have options if they're not fat. I've never seen it used to suggest that not being fat is enough for most/all men to be interested. The second one can reasonably be interpreted as a broad generalization, as opposed to an absolute statement.

Neither of those things implies that selective men do not exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 09:17 AM

I don't think unconditional love truly exists, or if it does its incredibly rare. Most people have a threshold for what actions they would accept from their loved ones. How many mothers do you think would love a child that hated them and treated them like garbage from birth?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 09:15 AM
6

That shit would fuck up any one. It would. Unfortunately you can't force people to feel affection for a child. I think men are much less inclined towards alloparenting than women are, so raising a child that's not theirs is difficult to accept. Hell, some men don't even want to raise kids that ARE theirs. It sounds fucked up but in most mammals, males do not care for offspring at all. Blood doesn’t need to make family. Maybe not to you, others disagree. Why do you think so many couples with fert…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 09:13 AM

Solution: Get that test! Be upfront about your desire for it way before you have kids. No need. You can do it yourself by swabbing the kid's cheek and sending it in for testing.

I don't give a shit if women internally feel that ugly men are creepy for daring to approach them, I'm not the thought police. But it's pure evil when they ruin lives by publicly labelling them as creeps and predators.

Sometimes a white lie can make sense, like if she asks you what you think of her outfit. Not here though, per OP's description he was losing attraction to her and not initiating sex, the relationship is at stake. The only way forward is to tell the truth and see if they can work it out, or break up if they can't.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 09:00 AM

Realistically many guys don't care or at least can't afford to be that picky. And it's incredibly easy for women to lie/downplay it. the desirable Stacy that mogged girls like me and turned you down isn't suffering! In what world? """Pickmes""" are good for us. Who the hell wouldn't want a girl that's highly agreeable, prioritizes you, and shares your interests?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 07:52 AM

Pick me behavior is more than just “cringe;” it harms other people due to selfishness. The only way your could characterize that as harmful is if you think you're entitled to a certain amount of time and attention from your friends. To me, criticizing your friends for prioritizing other things over you seems very narcissistic and selfish. They're your friend, not your conjoined twin. They have their own life.
