My ex of several years dipped out when my dog got cancer and I needed major surgery. Scrotes really reveal themselves when you need them the most.

My friends baby daddy did this. Got 50/50 custody and dumps them on his new gf.

She said she doesn't want the baby to grow up with the dad, so I'm guessing she's nervous about custody court?

I disagree about the "a man with a dog is a lonely man" part, but the rest is spot on. Some men are capable dog owners. Just not a lot of them.

Yes! This is wonderful advice. Absolutely agree. It's not as harmless as it may seem to hang around people like that.

I stopped watching a few seasons ago. At first, it seemed legitimate, but it has slowly allowed for higher and higher rates of more and more broken NVM to abuse already hurting women in various ways.

Most people who get high do not do so with any moderation. Once in a while, socially is fine... but not daily/weekly. I also wouldn't date someone who drinks regularly, either though.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/04/21 06:10 PM
33

That's not true. Him being a piece if trash has nothing to do with who you are. NVM are NVM regardless of who they're with. There's no magical behavior or woman who can make them not be NVM.

The should have never made it past the 2nd date. He never respected you. Do not hate yourself for "making him feel bad," he's fucking trash who has never been truly concerned about how he has made you feel. Now you know not to ignore red flags in the future. You've learned from this experience. Love yourself and take the lessons. 💗

I've faked it with almost every man I've been with out of feelings of necessity.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/21 09:01 PM
14

I can orgasm 2 to 3 times from PIV with my current partner, but I never have with anyone else. Ive only ever been with one other man who could make me orgasm even once in a session before my current partner. Every other gut I've ever been with has been totally unsuccessful. My current partner pays close attention to my body and is pretty entirely focused on me and how I'm feeling though. It's pretty amazing.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/21 01:54 PM

Im so sorry that your had this experience.

7

This.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/21 01:49 PM
312

Most women fake it. It's that simple. Edited to add: they do that because of dudes like your abusive ex. It's better to pretend to cum than to have a dude get pissed off/frustrated/hurt you emotionally and/or physically when you are at your most vulnerable, being intimate with him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/21 04:10 AM
42

Absolutely. Parties have moral ideals and many of those parties have ideals that include the dehumanization and objectification of women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/21 09:28 PM

It's your body releasing hormones to try to make you take back any male you can to reproduce. Never trust your "feelings" for a man when you're ovulating 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/03/21 12:38 AM
79

You're probably ovulating. No, seriously. When you ovulate your body releases all kinds of hormones that mess up your system, make you feel extra lonely, and make you think things are a good idea that aren't.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/21 03:44 PM
75

I think it's always an ok idea to support another woman, but don't make assumptions about why she's depressed (or even that she is) and don't get offended or personalize it if she isn't interested in being your friend.
/r/askFDS14/03/21 03:28 PM

Oh my God. That's.... I'm at a loss.

I sleep in my underwear. I don't like wearing pants. I live in a hot area. But ok, thanks for invalidating my experience and telling me that I'm wrong about my own personal feelings of comfort.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/21 12:29 AM
2

I mean, I wear booty shorts because they're comfortable. And regardless, the point is that just because a women likes these things, doesn't mean she's pandering to the patriarchy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/02/21 11:19 PM
4

I had a stalker when I was 13. In the beginning, the first time he hit me and started following me around, I was told by adults that "it means he likes you." Even after he showed up at my house unannounced and wouldn't leave AND TRIED TO LOCK ME IN MY BEDROOM WITH HIM my mother said he was "just cute and likes you." It wasn't until he stabbed my best friend for "getting between us" that she brought me to get a restraining order against him and press charges.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/02/21 06:34 PM
29

Well said. My only point on this is that things like pink and makeup and booty shorts are things that I genuinely enjoy and feel comfortable in - the fact that men sexualize them is on them, and while I will not wear them to a formal event, I also will not not like other girls myself out of things that I enjoy.

Judging a woman for the way she chooses to portray herself, especially when she's communicating important and FDS aligned ideas isn't cool
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/02/21 07:11 PM
22

Her thing is that she's a "bimbo." She's plays up the bimbo stereotype while holding men accountable and valuing other women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/02/21 05:53 PM

Absolutely.
/r/askFDS22/02/21 12:25 AM

You'll be sad for a while. Remember that your mourning the loss of what you thought you had and the future you were planning, not the man who let you down.
/r/askFDS13/02/21 02:08 AM
3

I didn't say it fights against any of those things. And nobody said anything about judging by how much someone spends. But you do you, I see that you're ~not like other girls~
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 06:17 PM
2

... why can't you get married with poor credit? Why haven't you sought assistance in repairing your credit over the past 6 years?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 06:15 PM
7

You deserve more. Don't fall for the sunken cost fallacy. Just because you've spent years with this man doesn't mean you need to send years more with him, too.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 03:56 PM

You mean your ex-bf? Yet? What, you're not worth it to him yet?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 03:54 PM

It's a holiday about appreciating women. In a patriarchal society, we shouldn't feel bad about having one day that is primarily about having someone we love and trust treat us like we're extra special and worth more than our patriarchal, colonial, capitalist society tells us we are. And if the man that you're with isn't about that, he isn't worth it. Have higher standards.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 03:53 PM

Yes!!! Order a special meal. Buy yourself a new piece of jewelry. Go for a scenic walk somewhere beautiful. (And if you're in a relationship, dump the motherfucker.)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 03:51 PM

There is literally no planet in which a 42 year old who lives with his mom and has only been sober for a year is a HVM. And I say this as an addict whose been sober for 7 years. Addicts CAN recover and become HV, but you arent even supposed to consider starting to date until AT LEAST the one year mark. I personally waited 5. Thats how long it takes to rebuild yourself and become stable instead of replacing one addiction with another and becoming codependent and/or toxic. You've got enough red fl…

I'd give a little leeway because of the current global situation. Maybe it hasn't occurred to him that video chatting is possible, but he knows in pertain dating is not. I would mention it to him and add it to your profile for future matches.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/11/20 02:00 PM

"He's been so accommodating about my PTSD.." This is basic human decency, not a reason to stay in an unfulfilling relationship with a man who does not prioritize you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/11/20 01:58 PM

You need to reread the handbook and REALLY consider if your boyfriend is a HVM.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/11/20 05:06 PM

I think building a circle of supportive women to be friends with can provide a lot of external validation. While you should never need that in order to be confident, having female friends who hype you up definitely feels nice. Its also helpful when I'm playing with my style and want feedback, and helps me feel confident in expanding my comfort zone.
/r/askFDS08/11/20 03:05 PM

Yeah, that's not a man I would ever trust or want to be involved with. I'm sorry that happened to you, it must have been traumatic and terrifying.

... did you miss the part where I said power couple? I didn't suggest rolling over and being submissive. The whole point if being a HVW is to be strong and independent and be able to lead as well. Why a strong and capable woman wouldnt want to be with a man who has those qualities as well is beyond me, but you do you sis. Edit to add: It says warlord. Lead a community. Not lead you. Communities need leaders. You're welcome to go off and do it alone, though!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/11/20 01:55 AM
19

Whether or not someone has tattoos doesn't automatically demonstrate the kind of person they are. And you're missing the point. The point is to not date a man who can't take care of you and lead when the world falls apart.

No, I've done it on other posts and been met with gratitude.

Gross he sounds needy and insecure. That's definitely not a HVM.

"Are you seeing anyone else?" "Anyone else? This is a first date, I haven't even decided if I'm seeing you yet! Hahahaha" Or "How many guys are you seeing?" "I'm not sure what you're asking me, but it feels kind of invasive." (If he pushes, thats major red flag) Edited for formatting.

This is important. A nice bouquet from a florist is something that I appreciate and that costs a fair amount. Why did he choose blue roses? I also think he could have done better and put in more effort, but a week is a short period of time. Was there also a nice dinner involved?

/r/askFDS17/10/20 02:39 AM

6 to 8 months of exclusivity seems reasonable to me. Every relationship is different, though. For me, if I haven't heard it in that time frame, I'd leave. I don't want to be a forver girlfriend, and if a man doesn't know in that time frame hes unlikely to be able to meet my expectations for engagement in about 3 years, anyway.
