well for a long time i wasnt sure as she made me feel like it was my fault for years. I never cheated on her i never laid a hand on her in anger,, although i have said some mean things but not as bad as i feel i got regularly. told my fault she cheated , i was deployed to Iraq, my fault she was with my best friend, I was working too much 2 separate instances, my fault she lied ,my fault she was so angry she threw things. if we were together right now it would probably be my fault she never took …

Good lord do not and I repeat DO NOT ! point out that what she may be accusing you of she is as bad of an offender than you if not worse . And of she say you never do anything for her or around the house if you start to point out the things you do. Then she isnt talking about that and you should know what she is refering to.

Even in no fault states proven infidelity can play a factor on how much spousal support one might have to pay also can have a bearing on the percent of marital funds they split and of joint money was used to fund the affair like gifts and hotel rooms but must be documented time stamped with pictures preferably but text messages bank statements and friends wife may already have a plan working

If she had found a place that was where she wanted at a price she wanted or somebody that allowed her to live with like she wants . She would already be gone . She wouldn't have said ill give you a chance she wouldn't give a good god damn about how you feel your pain or your financial burdens as long as it doesn’t effect her. She made a choice to tell you she wants a divorce. Then let her have the consequences that come with her choice

As i throw on the tinfoil hat for a miniute ...I read a book by A Ralph Epperson written in 1986? The last page of the of the introduction states that the governments plan on phasing out marriage by making divorces easier and pushing monogamy as old outdated that wifes should not be at home raising children and legalizing gay marriages and making the state raise our children and since it was written in 1986 and as i look around at todays world . and its not exactly a why but i can see truth to i…

On the same note ..if you did't want her to leave you shouldn't have been watching corn. . But Also you have no obligation to watch the children fact is when you got divorced you had no rights or even would have been given consideration of custody of them or visitation rights to them if she was a bad mother they would go to some distant relative like 3rd cousin twice removed before you got custody of the them even if you did want them .its hard enough for men to maintain custody or visitation of…

You can put that into your portion of the divorce decree that she take back her maiden name. The judge may or may not agree

Well most women once the divorce starts they will become so vindictive and evil that she will most likely force you to hate her before its over

When my wife 1st filed back in june 2024 i got an attorney and she told me to mount cameras in the common areas or choke points so i put a camera right next to the spare room door (my room now) it covered the hallway her door and my door even though it didnt look like it covered my door it did if i was standing in my doorway you could see my feet the tip of my toes so it covered my door her door the hallway was a main focus but she kept throwing a fit with her lawyer that I was like spying on he…

Get a small digital recorder and keep it in your pocket all the time familiarize your self with the power button and the record button just by the shape anytime she talks to you no mater what it is put your hand in your pocket and hit record when she is gone save it under the date and topic sounds like with in a week that topic will probably come up again and she will gaslight you just save that conversation don't show her what you recorded trying to prover her wrong it'll only get turned around…

If he is cheating on her then their marriage is already over she just hasn't been made aware yet at least if you told her may e that would give her the opportunity to make sure he gets what he should i have no sympathy for cheaters or abusers. Doesn't matter if they are the husband or the wife.
/r/Divorce_Men05/01/26 05:58 AM

I kinda disagree respectfully.. i dont think the op would be destroying any marriage i believe the cheaters have already done that he would just be providing the truth by shining the light on it.

Well either way you decide hope its something you can live with .. but 1 thing if he cheated with your wife just because he moved doesn't mean he stopped cheating. Its almost 100% that he just found someone else to take her place and his wife. Is sitting around wondering what she has done wrong and if she is going crazy with suspecting but has no proof. She may have suspected about your wife but he convinced her she was nuts and just a bad wife . The truth shouldn't be anything that one hides aw…

From my understanding Penn State University did a study of like 3,000 people 97% of women would rather go to jail than to admit fault and 11% of men would rather go to jail then take responsibility and admit fault to something they did and out of 20 years of marriage I could probably only count Maybe less than 30 times that my wife has apologized to me for anything even something as simple as forgetting something from the store she would things like say things like I guess you should have sent m…

Sex was the first thing to go ..then affection at all she would stop initiating any contact went kissing on the lips to forcing the cheek then the forehead then avoiding that at all the only time she would be anytime of affectionate was when she would want something or to do something significant. I could get an escort every other week and it would still be cheaper and less drama than my ex has cost me even while we were married . How many guys went weeks , months even years with no sex . And how much of your pay check did she take and spend on herselfn( lunch with her friends , coffee ,car payment, the mortgage if she were a roommate) plus the drama nagging that you aren't doing your part . Even though you work 12 hr days and supply everything . You could get an escort and m that seems l…

It seems like Women always ask for a separation even though they are in the same mindset as if they wanted the divorce the difference is during a separation they get to have all the benefits of being married without having to put the effort in they don't have to have sex with you they don't have to answer to you they get to stay out meet whoever they want they aren't actually trying to save their marriage in any way yet you are trying your hardest to win them back so you are putting in all the e…

This is exactly what i was going to suggest was a faraday bag then inside a safe .. under normal circumstances i would say its normal to give a kid a phone for flight emergencies like a missed layover or something but it sounds like she is just psyco. And just an attempt to control everything...she had to have been hell to live with..

Shake hands ?? Had it been me i would have told her that not too long ago what i wanted to do if i had the opportunity and alibi i wouldn't have to worry about it .. so acknowledging that we were in the same airspace and no cops were called and she should count it as a win

Hey all thanks for the words of encouragement sometimes a kind word can help get over a hump or out if a rut that has potential to be bad. I don't get down on my self often but when it happens its a fight and yeah this time of year is extremely more difficult i dont have alot of friends as im not from here my ex was fairly controlling (as in when they could see thru her they point out that she wasnt a nice person and she would already be driving a wedge so eventually i really didn't try to make …

No it definitely wasn't a healthy relationship. Its crazy you always think you would be able to see through manipulation and never fall to the gaslight game untill your so deep you have no clue how to save your self. Unfortunately i spent years telling myself i hanging in there for the kids and now that was probably a mistake.

I can see it if the guy cheated and there is proof or he was abusive . But we get screwed even when they choose and they cheat and they are abusive

Yes its cheating if you want to sleep with somebody else why bother with the separation just file and stop leading your spouse on hoping of reconciliation... its cruel

Can't trust her again. Just because she said he isn't in the picture doesn't mean she is the one who ended it. He could have ended it and and you are her trying to fall back and get comfortable again untill l she finds the next guy who makes her think he will save her.
