Most toxic people just benefit for calling them out on their behaviour. Never ever do that, so they cannot 'learn' and adapt their sick strategies

I amazed you know about FDS in your twenties. I wish I would have read about it. I am 40 though and FDS didn't exist yet 20 years ago. Other than that get wise with investments, you will probably need it at some point in the future.

I actually currently want to leave out men out of my life, since dating has lot of abusive potential. I focus on friends, as in mostly female people where you don't have to worry about all that dating stuff. This is a better place to learn healthy connections, I feel, with less potential of trauma. As a side rant, most of healthy relationships and dating will also start with something in common, common interests or friends, it's rarely just OLD. In OLD, it's very difficult to make yourself stand …

You story sounds exactly like mine, to the point. I grew up with a father that wasn't there and an extremely cold, freezer like mother. No siblings either and a very small family that has a lot of drama and mental illnesses involved. My mothers mother is a very toxic caregiver herself, so I understand where it's coming from, but I still cannot justify my mother's irresponsible actions, unlike you in some areas. I think each of us has a responsibility and she is neglecting it by not addressing he…

Interesting view. The consensus here is to wait 1-2 weeks max or a few days with a target date. I'm guilty of chatting way too long as well but I am a single mom and need to carefully choose with whom to arrange a date (essentially not wanting to waste my time, like you) However procrastinating this long can be viewed as disinterested as well which it probably is.

I don't think she is true jetset but some of her advice can be used with caution. I've been watching her videos but really get the gold digger vibes. Definitely no need to dress up all the time when you're out unless you're the duchess of York but even she rocks casual styles.

Sounds like my dating experience with OLD apps 😅 I found specific interest reddit groups really nice to find actually like minded people but you have to be specific what common interests are important to you. There are also Londoner reddit meet up groups you can place something in there (i'm not from LDN so dont remember off hand the group names)

As a woman for the same thing to opposite men. I tried to get to know them better because mystery about a person leaves room for imagination and that is almost always better than reality. Nowadays I really try to fall for the personality because a compatible personality almost always doesn't feel out of my league.

Well, no. I dated someone that followed the Muslim religion all the way through. He even had 7 marriages because he wouldn't have sex before marriage. Guess what, I knew his sex count 😂 That aside he was a very naive person and our world views clashed. So unless you are very religious too, I would stay away from it. But comparing him to the sex hungry men I meet OLD he was/is still a nice catch, just not for me. did he use religion to control women and justify his poly lifestyle? Hell yes. But t…

Elliott Scott on YouTube If you are in a oneitis/crush you don't want and want to hear the cold hard truth about him then tune into any of his videos please 😉 Corey Wayne is more targeted towards men but I like to listen to him occasionally. He does essentially teach men how to court and provide and satisfy which align with FDS principles so a message to male lurkers would be to listen to him.

Quality post as always on FDS. Been there done that with an emotionally unavailable man. I enjoyed it but he had other communication issues I couldn't stand. In the end I was glad not to have bonded for real since the attraction and hence the heartbreak would've been much bigger. Actually it can be an alternative if you just look for a FWB and can't have a relationship for whatever reason. It sure does keep you emotionally occupied but not as much as a FWB would. I have always been overaccomodating even when the person wasn't being that great because I figure no one is perfect and people are allowed to be less than stellar yet still have someone have their back. Be it, if you want to, but keep this a secret from others, specifically from your dating partner. You can show these traits to your kids 😉

This doormat attitude was probably the reason your bf lost attraction. Highly recommend watching Elliott Scott on YouTube too (specifically his attraction videos) I am in no way related to him I have leant a great deal from him myself.

Your emotions distort reality so wait until the cloud of distortion starts to clear up when you see him for what he really is. Once that has happened no urges to contact him will arise anymore. Should you have any urges to contact him, understand your worth.

Oh don't worry I am not missing a single one of these cowards. I enjoy seeing them falling for the free lunch trap. None of these guys got in an actual date with me and I am thankful not to have wasted my time. There are men who don't do DTR before having met. I certainly don't bring up this subject in the OLD chat where this takes place. In fact I am thinking to make this one of my dating strategies, also when I look for something more substantial. Take some time off for yourself. Take care for yourself and curate your hobbies. Distance creates opportunity to miss one another. I have been very interested in learning strategies on how to rise attraction. Elliott Scott on YT calls himself an attraction coach, for example. It seems your bf has a lot of base attraction for you, otherwise you wouldnt be together, isn't it? See if you find ways to make yourself more attractive to him. Attraction, at least how I understand it, is not just through…

A lot of men use OLD apps as free sex / free prostitution apps. Just look on how many of them get sexual immediately. I had some men even questioning me about sexual practices I do, essentially like going to a hooker.

I like to judge based on the Instagram following. It's not the only thing but it's a crucial piece of the puzzle. Haha, only sad thing is if they don't have IG. Some men have told me my ig is boring because I don't show my face/body (read:tits and arse). How simple can they be? A good IG is if he mainly follows his friends IMO (healthy mix of males and females)

I appreciate Instagram but I am using it for art inspiration being a visual art creator myself. It's not bad in general but there are very few people who use it this or in a similar way (can also be for travel accounts or space or anything non sexual really)

It's horrible. I don't advocate ghosting but sometimes it's for your own good. 2 months ago, a man couldn't take my rejection and blamed it on online communication and how things would be different in person. So I met him, mainly because we have common friends and guess what his online communication was no different from real communication.

Dating in a different culture is very difficult because not all principles can be applied. As far I know japan is a very closed society and they don't like to mix with foreigners so it might not even be your looks. I would just enjoy life and your studies 😉

I was dating a 44 year old male who exclusively followed Russian tit and arse accounts on Instagram. He turned out sadistic, perverted and tried to coerce me sexually. Stay away, the following and people you follow on Instagram is a good indicator of one's personality.

I don't want a relationship means either I am already in a relationship and not telling you I have some mental issues in regards to women I am looking to pay back, MGTOW men for example I am a predator I am looking for free sex instead of going to a hooker I question you, does any of these reasons make it worthwhile spending any more energy on him?

As a survivor of narcissitic abuse, I cannot tell to the women reading this how true all of this is. Keep this in mind when talking to anybody out there. My narcissitic ex has highlighted multiple times quite blatantly on how easy of a victim I am because I don't have family around me.

Did he stop entirely or just the frequency went down? It's always easier said than done especially for these things. Another strategy that has worked well for me is starting to suck (something he said in the past he didn't like and then actually do it)

Just cut through to reality that you have nothing to lose. You are in an unhappy fwb and it's unlikely that this is ever going to change. In fact you staying in this fwb will make you a LVW in his eyes (and yours too, if you are being honest about it) Try to find closure with him in whatever way it works for you. Closure is key to overcome oneitis but you can't always expect it. Calling him blatantly out on his bs (if there is any) helps too. Focus on his negative points and look how likely it w…

This is a good advice - Focus on his bad points this has been my main cure for oneitis. Also cutting realistically through his bs helps. Another strategy that has been tried on me but I never have is actually freak out and insult him so he doesn't come back - it's a safe way out since you have told him the ugly truth about him and you know there will be no contact ever.

I'm going for an unpopular opinion as well and I think 2-3 times per week where you have an interactive session with is OK. I had a daily texter recently and it ruined all the beauty of it.

This 👆 I have met so many emotionally unavailable men or men that aren't even single what's the point of OLD the amount of actual men wanting to date is close to 0. It's more a free sex app for men and that's how they use it.

Wait he is talking about sucking your clit before you had sex? Wait he is waiting to text you after 2 dates 1 week? Dudette, no - next him. His interest has died off within a matter of 2 weeks or so. This behavior is acceptable when you're like 1-2 months in but even then it's not the best.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/12/19 12:51 PM

I agree with this strategy gives him opportunity to wonder. I thought you have died is a bit offensive. That aside I currently don't think one week of no texting is bad but maybe that's just me.

Happened to me as well only thing you can do now is be careful about the signs he might be in a relationship.

Same here, he tried to harm our son (he could have died) and his goal was to make it look like it was my fault. Til this day I cannot prove it, it's horrifying. Once you see the narcissist you can't unsee and they know it. I know I have never loved this man but I really wonder how he could hide this side for so long. Considering he is a foreigner here, he really knows how to terrorize me through officials. I am hoping to be escape from here soon.

Corey Wayne is a strong advocate of this message. Your life is based on the quality of your relationships and I couldn't agree more. That's why we should put our greatest efforts into people we like to hang around with, literally our life is dependent on it. Coming out of narcissitic abuse I have lost at least a decade in my life, my full 30ies and I try to choose wisely from now on.

Jesus it sounds soo similar what I am going through this is a prime example of narcissistic abuse. Nowadays I am actually loving it if a guy shows some 'weaknesses' such as 420 or any other legally enforceable small issues since these are the sincere guys, my ex husband tried to stay as clean as possible legally and now I know why. All of my other exes have been a bit like that he was the first sober acting guy I was with and it's a huge mistake! Because there is a reason behind why they are lik…

I dated multiple (2-3) guys who even didn't hide their SO on social media but this is far more dangerous. All girls should get the horrific OLD experience in order to see what's really going on in the world and what cheating signs they should look out for if in a relationship. Why do we women even want to get in relationships with these men?? It's an illusion. People who deleted their tinder profile after a short period : cheaters guaranteed.

These people can play on you for years without showing their true self that's why mystery is a very dangerous thing to be attracted to. I was with a guy who got aroused if the partner was not liking the sexual acts so by definition got off of rape like situations and covered it under the bdsm term/dominant. In bdsm everything is consentual and scenes are agreed upon beforehand. I ghosted him eventually since talking to him had no effect but we all know that. This male mind was just sick trying to justify their perversions.

And don't ask too many questions about his professional achievements it may come off gold digger like and any information on this will also not benefit you at his stage of dating. I actually find sharing interests and hobbies very useful for finding out how much you have in common. The more you have in common the easier is to paint future scenarios in his head. For example I would love to visit the ice hockey finals if you both are into ice hockey. And boom he will think of you as the only female he is able to do that with 😁

This is actually about how to create and maintain mystery, the male pickup community has some of this info as well. I think it's a useful tool and it builds attraction. Oversharing is NOT BUILDING ATTRACTION Another useful tool to build attraction is to plant scenarios in his head (I want to do yxz with you...) knowing his desires and likes.

About 2 weeks ago I dumped an fwb that tried to threaten me to leave if I don't do some sex practices (very sick ones) he wanted me to do. Despite me saying no multiple times. He got jealous at someone I talked to online and apparently I did more for the other guy than for the fwb. Play it against them if you can so that they see they have competition! Maybe it's because I work in a male dominated field that I am comfortable listening to guys. I objectively haven't seen them saying anything that would go against my principles - so far. Contrary to that, Shallon has said in a recent video that women need to be good in bed and good cooks and that's all it takes to be a good girlfriend shocked me quite a bit. I just know when I initiate more I'm more into it and both in the relationship know it. I prefer to reciprocate instead and show my interest this way. It makes me feel confident in my natural feminine. I just got out of a FWB with no feelings where he made suggestions that made me feel in the masculine / like a man and it's a huge turn off for me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/19 06:16 PM

I am not convinced and not a fan of this strategy but what I can tell this definitely cannot be applied in any OLD scenario and no work scenario either. Once you have matched with a guy OLD there is no excuse he didn't know you were into him. Initiating has made me feel icky in the past about myself and this has an effect on confidence. It made me even feel icky when I made a counter offer to meet the next day (for the initial date)
