I got into it actively 2 years ago because I was getting laid like once a year after college. I sub'ed here, read Models, No More Mr Nice Guy, signed up for Mark Manson's course and did all the exercises. I've been working out, went to r/malefashionadvice and started dressing sharp, started socializing more and got into some hobbies, and I have a crazy successful career. I also started doing NoFap which has had some great effects on my motivation and confidence. I still don't have as active of a…

How do you safely and discretely hire a prostitute? I've never heard any great advice on how to do it while avoiding legal trouble.

I'm going to find the balls to do this next time it happens to me because I know there are guys like you fighting the good fight too.

As a related story: I'm a South Asian, I met an Indian girl at a party the other week who told me flat out over text message: "I don't date Indian guys". I've already gone through the RP anger stage but this really pissed me off anyway.

So you've been at it for 10 years? I've been working on seddit-style self improvement for 2 years now and it's kind of demotivating when you see people post about how much success they have after a month.

I paid for Mark Manson's online course as well as Simple 30. They're both good but it depends on which of the two fits your style better -- do you want to be more like Mark or the Simple 30 guys? In general though, I'd recommend Mark's course over the other stuff.

Woah, sorry I wasn't dismissing the book or even the post. I think it's all important and good stuff, just incomplete.

I think committing to practice is a great idea, but a week is probably not long enough. Try committing to a month of doing it every day or 6 months of doing it every weekend instead, and don't be hard on yourself if you don't see immediate progress -- if you're 21 years old then it took you 21 years to become who you are now, you're not going to significantly change in 1 week.

How do you "just get an abundance of girls"? Even if you're just trying to be friends with them.

Mark Manson actually has a good post on this, I forgot what he calls it but basically for people like you and me what works better than "just do it" is gradually desensitizing yourself to social anxieties. Here's an example: make eye contact with 5 people every day smile at 5 people every day smile at 5 girls every day say "how are you doin?" to every cashier you checkout with For some people, this is the right amount of difficulty to start with and it's easy to gradually increase the challenges…

not a large sample size to go off of, but the one time I had a girl do the same thing it was definitely a soft rejection

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
