Thank you, I will try to apply some of this. Letting rejections roll off is tricky, because faking it is hard. My emotions feel real, even if I keep trying to tell myself not to take this seriously, treat it like a video game, etc. You could say the same thing to a person putting a gun to his head, but real is real. I'm sure it's not easy to trick yourself to think the gun is fake, when you know the gun is real.

No, I would not have enjoyed myself if I hit on girls because it's always a very stressful experience. I'm too nervous about that. I'm always happier just doing my own thing. I used to think that there was no hope. We seemed to be so tied up in sexism. On a side note, I hope that we can deprecate the term "bad guy" to describe anyone who is bad or the enemy. Not that the term itself is the end of the world, it's that generally when someone seeks to discover the identity of a criminal, people assume it's a guy and use phrases such as, "we're going to catch this bastard, he isn't going to get away with it" or "we'll find out who he is".

I was listening to a show on NPR about the price of circumcision being high at one hospital vs another. They had the sound byte of a doctor performing the procedure, the baby crying, and him saying, "there we go, that wasn't so bad was it?" and it bothered me deeply and made me sad that the baby's rights were never considered. And the show didn't even bother to bring it up. :(

The shirt is gender neutral. There is no mention of male or female. Even if it was sold in one department, it could apply to men saying those things or women saying those things. So this doesn't really bother me at all. Stuff like this that leaves it up to my interpretation is fine.
