Who cares? It's not that impressive, most of the weight is carried by the lower leg anyway. It seems dangerous from a physics perspective too.

You should have called it quits after the first drink. She's not into you. Go ahead and try to set another date if you want, but I'll say 95% chance she ghosts.

I don't mind buying dinner or drinks on a date, provided they're reasonable. If she orders surf n turf or a crazy cocktail, I have called it out immediately. If she's a decent chick she'll be choosing something reasonable and along the same lines as you.

If he's been away from the gym for 6 months a beginner program is probably perfect to get back up to snuff.

Dude, if she's sick or just making excuses just hit up someone else and d ont worry about it. Why are you giving a plate Friday night anyway?

If you have to ask the question/make the post, you care too much about it. Since you care that much I wouldn't share. If you truly dgaf, then it doesn't matter and we wouldn't be discussing it. At work though, NEVER DISCLOSE INFORMATION LIKE THIS. You can let it be known that you have no problem getting dates or upgrading though.

Yea that's my real question too. Maybe another case of, "marriage and kids will fix our problems"?

With the deep voice, do you mumble? I have a deep voice too and with a little practice you can project and easily be heard in a lecture hall or any classroom. Remember you're not speaking high from your nose, it's low, from your gut.

You're doing better than most, you recognize that what you're doing isn't working. That's a rare quality. Next time you go on a date, if she doesn't go home with you, take 10min and replay it in your head. Try to think about what went well and what you can do better next time. It's important to reflect, but not while you're actually out on the date, then you have to be in the momemt.

Well a significant proportion wanted to have sex at least a couple times, a larger portion got as far as the girl in our Aziz story and some barely got on first base. The other half or so didn't work out for whatever reason with no significant physical contact or discomfort. At absolute worst less than 10 were less than pleased, mostly because I was not interested in going down on them, for varied reasons. So 2% of people ive been on dates with might be cunts. I'll take those odds, and in the la…

Because most people aren't cunts. I've been on more dates than I care to count (conservatively 500+) and not one has ended like this, or even 10% This level of crazy.

Heretic! There is no such thing as Netflix and just chil! Unsubscribe from Netflix asap! /s Was it because you weren't that interested? Because that's the only reason I'll watch the movie or not talk around it.

It's still accurate and the implicit way it addresses af/bb idea for guys is summed up in one term. Oneitis. It usually leads to a nasty divorce or breakup and TRP is there to help them avoid that pitfall and have a better relationship with women.

Bothered as in you don't enjoy them much? If so, I'm the same way brother. I won't say no, if that's the order of the day, but I'll probably progress after a bit to sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/18 08:28 PM

Naw, keep at it. You should probably screen the girls a bit better for potential to be an accused though. Avoid feminazis and their friend groups.

Why pick the bible? There are libraries of better material like the TRP reading list or the memoir's of famously successful leaders. Men like Eisenhower, Patton, Hal Moore etc.
/r/askTRP14/01/18 02:32 AM

Sure, there are lessons in the stories of the bible, but virtually none of them are unique to the bible. For those stories with value God need not be invoked, especially since most of his direct interventions were some insane punishment or meddling.

Ha. My grandfather is in his late 80s had his wife of 60+ years pass a couple years back. He gets untold amounts of attention from ALL the women in his retirement community and has a new girlfriend that he is extremely happy with. Why do you think SMV or sex drive dies with age? Seriously he gained like 10-20 years of youthful energy back when he started dating this woman.

You're doing far better than most, I wouldn't worry about it. You're a freshman at an elite university, you moved up several levels in your peer group, so you're no longer the biggest baddest guy in town. Keep doing what you're doing.

QI has determined that the author of the quote is not someone famous or ancient. It was crafted by a student, Kenneth John Freeman, for his Cambridge dissertation published in 1907. Freeman did not claim that the passage under analysis was a direct quotation of anyone; instead, he was presenting his own summary of the complaints directed against young people in ancient times. The words he used were later slightly altered to yield the modern version. In fact, more than one section of his thesis h…

So then you support being with the opposite, you dont cry about the odds of alimony (divorce rape?), you believe in providing for her, hell.. you believe in marriage right? I don't mind the point of view, I am just looking for a little more consistency in this rhetoric Marriage is typically defined as a lifelong commitment with no traditional provision for termination, what with, "til death do us part." It's a mixed bag, since many people who may have the disorder cope well enough or aren't interested in getting diagnosed, and people seeing behaviour that is associated with that condition assuming that their ex has BPD. Since other posters have mentioned bipolar vs BPD, I don't elaborate, but my general advice on Bipolar disorder is to avoid partnering with them. My father is bipolar/NPD and attempted to destroy our family after a 20 year marriage.

"GET OFF THE INTERNET AND GAIN EXPERIENCE" is not a challenge, it's the assumption that the only, THE ONLY reason I hold the belief is because I don't have any experience (or sufficient experience). This is why I've put the disclaimer. Your response? - "Fuck your disclaimer". Well fuck your opinions. I have a kid and I've been through divorce. That's pretty par for the course on finding TRP. Being able to detect crazy is not a superpower nor is it particularly challenging with even a modicum of experience. GET OFF THE INTERNET AND GAIN EXPERIENCE. and fuck your disclaimer, its a weak cop-out. as for meeting both parties requirements for a successful relationship, the whole point of dating is to find out if you're compatible on a more serious level anyway, dont worry so much about it.

No. your perspective is equally relevant to mine within the context of this exchange. But in the context of what we're talking about, the female perspective is largely irrelevant. Had to fix the your, you're issue since you put it in italics.

Do you want to simply exist or do you want to be all that you can be? I know, it's cliched and ancient but you should get in shape for yourself and your own health more than for a woman. There's a Socrates quote about it somewhere. Once you're more active and eating more, your sex drive will likely return and you'll be far more interested. Try the couch to 5k & any of the 5x5 weightlifting programs for a month along with eating and sleeping well and report back.

This is why 1st dates or anything with a significant flake chance should be no greater than a 5min drive from your house. You say you're 5min away when she says she's close. No more problems with being stood up.

If you're not gaming her, does it matter in the slightest? seriously, you CAN apply TRP to most interaction, but you really shouldn't need to. simple answer: "I haven't found a keeper yet" or "she hasn't found me yet" its suitable vague and non-committal without crossing lines or risking any sort of HR complaint.

The reason TRP in particular objects to that settling down idea, is that a significant fraction of the users were the guy that she settled for, and ended up in unhappy deadbedroom marriages. Hardly surprising that want to avoid that fate a second time and make sure to pass the lesson along to others. To ensure taking the objective in an attack, strike positions that are undefended. To be certain of an impregnable defence, secure positions that the enemy will not attack. Thus when someone excels in attacking, the enemy does not know where to mount his defence; when someone excels at defence, the enemy does not know where to attack. Attraction is irrelevant to a discussion involving evolution. Making babies is what counts and attraction is not required. It is usually helpful and seen as beneficial, but it does appear that resources are not key to attraction, attitude and appearance are. Look at who is having the most kids, poorer people, cultures and countries. Resources almost seem to be selected against for reproductive success right now.

my experience pre-dates built in (good) voice chat in games. i'm talking vanilla WOW and BC (2006-2008) era. you didnt get voice until you were in a guild and at least somewhat trusted and by that point your gender did not matter.

parasite? no. Its just a different path. Benefit to men or women is utterly irrelevant in the face of natural selection, only survival and reproduction.

There's also no reason to bother with voice on games where you don't need it. COD is widely known as a cesspit for gaming. Similar experiences can be had with all MOBA games. It comes with the territory.

Dude, if you're going to call the emergent patriarchy natural selection, feminism appears to be merely the next emergent step in natural selection. Been there done that. Never got creepy PMs for being a female avatar in WOW. Of course I just played the game and didn't bother informing anyone if I was or was not actually a dude. If you are there to play 99.99+% of gamers don't care and assume you are a man anyway. I've been gaming with 3 online friends for 10 years now, one is female. It never made any difference in how we treat her.

Yea, that's just gaming. You will get trash talked, cussed out, hazed, insulted, demeaned. And your mother too. If you say something dumb or have an accent, take it up a notch. If you suck or are a noob, take it up 10x. Being a woman doesn't have much impact. Most women don't make it out of noob hazing.

No. I wont help you not have feelings, because it's not a bad thing. If you can maintain abundance mentality and a bit of dread you shouldn't have a problem regardless. I'll second this as someone who made the long walk to the counseling services center. I'll expand that you NEED to be careful and vett whoever you speak to, because the first woman i spoke with had me pegged as all sorts of fucked up, while the guy I ended up working with just gave me a couple tools (NO DRUGS, ideally) to manage my life and get my shit fixed. You and the red above you ought to consider the third path. Everyone at the party was black-out or brown-out drunk and horny and all of the involved parties consented to having enjoyable sex that no-one could clearly recall in the morning but for the evidence left behind (clothes strewn, condom wrappers etc). I had a partner where that was the case, we woke up and took a few minutes to sort out the end of the nights activities. No one was upset but I notice that the case never gets mentioned.

I'm having my fill at this point but we aren't looking at individual we're looking at the statistics and the study you posted does not confirm your claim that casual sex participation is anything close to equal. It only shows that approximately equal numbers of men and women have had at least 1 casual encounter.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/17 07:57 PM

I didn't see anything on the subject, and the average will of course match (if we're excluding homosexual encounters) , I'm far more interested in seeing the distribution.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/17 06:59 PM

That only shows that men and women have had rough parity on having at least one casual sex encounter. It has no information on the frequency of sex or number of partners, which is far more interesting data.

There is no moral judgement or statement in my replies. Nature does not care if you are rich or poor, so long as you are successful at reproduction. If you want to make mate selection more important again, get rid of the welfare state.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/17 09:03 AM
4

Fuck the species, look after your lineage. As long as it survives, so does part of you. That's how evolution works. If her kids from whoever are successful enough to have kids of their own and their kids do the same and so on it's a win. It is utterly irrelevant if you like the guy or anything else. Reproductive success is it's own victory.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/17 07:50 AM
1

How did you come to this conclusion? You having a daughter is a reproductive win for you, and your new task in life regardless of the gender of your child is to set them up to be most successful at creating and raising their own families. Its the only form of immortality and leaving a true legacy that we have. If anything, having a daughter is a good thing, since TRP evo is always claiming that 100% of women reproduce and only 60% of men do.

wait for it. sounds like you're in your 20s or so. There is a generational trend in families, nations and cultures. lots of hard work across many generations leads to 'the greatest generation' which creates the empire, then following generations do not have any major struggles and become softer and more coddled until things fall apart. The US is currently rather coddled. this will end if there is an existential conflict where we need to make the hard choices to survive.

Ok, here's my advice on gaming women at loud as fuck live music events: Don't. If you're going to persist and want to hookup at music events, do it at rave type things where you can dance and get to kino exceptionally fast. People go to music shows less to meet people and more for the experience, from what I've seen. And you get the laundry list of basic questions because about 80% of posts on asktrp are from people who aren't doing the basics yet and/Or haven't read the sidebar.
/r/askTRP03/09/17 06:36 PM
1

Have you read the sidebar? Are you lifting? And making progress? Is this music show idea THE ONLY thing you want to try? Seriously, you're an engineer, you've got the cash and your life together. Leverage that, dress well and go to a bar, solo preferably because I guarantee your friends (esp if they are also engineers) will only slow you down and ruin your game.

You dumb motherfucker. I was in a very similar situation last year. Yes you get to babysit her for the weekend and pay for it, but it is a very small price to pay. ~1200 total. Edit: shit it was almost exactly a year ago.
/r/askTRP25/08/17 12:10 AM

Don't worry about it. 90+% of your friends are only friends of convience any way. When you move for work or college you won't see them again and that's ok. You need to follow your goals and not be slowed down or stopped by any means in the bucket. Bonus is if you're friends are better at one thing in any aspect than you is that you can and should learn everything you can from them.

That was, if you aren't willing to put in some hard work, why should we help You? 90% of the posters here already know the answer to their question, they just need confirmation and/or feedback. guys like she had previously dated and older wealthy men are two drastically different groups of people. people like attractive partners, wealth helps but true attraction cannot be negotiated with wealth.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/17 11:50 PM
1

alright, so its a valley or cliff instead of a wall. if we invert it for the sake of metaphor, there's a wall where the ease that was had in dating 'suddenly' disappears and instead its nearly impossible to find guys like she previously dated. Its only called a wall because TRP is overwhelmingly young men and someone used it as throwaway line only for it to catch on in TRP lore.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/17 04:07 AM
2

yea, the wall is not really about RMV, its mostly about kids. See typically, women who ride the CC still decide that they want kids around 30. Funnily that's also the age where the risk of birth defects, autism, downs etc skyrocket and she'll start to have trouble conceiving. This leads to women wanting to rush into a relationship with any remotely attractive man with options, who of course won't commit, which gives us the 'where have all the good men gone' posts. At 40 or 50 or whatever, the is…

Whatever I want. Sometimes we just meet at the bar and chat there, but it sounds like you're overtly trying to get to know them, so it feels like an interrogation. It should be lighter and more fun, like asking about where they've been on vacation and diving into that for awhile instead of crossing off a questionnaire. Here's where the neg comes in, because you can mess with them for wherever they've been or whatever they did on vacation. It takes practice

Defining it as feeling creeped out is not helpful. Creepy: something that makes you uncomfortable is more useful and what I use. Making people uncomfortable or 'creeped out' has no impact on the reality of TRP.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/17 08:06 PM
1

Depends on the fight. If they don't it's not out of any desire to pull punches, it's fear of retribution from the other guys friends. It's not out of nobility.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/17 07:51 PM
1

Read it. Still nothing to do with pulling punches. Most people are not going to do grevious bodily harm with a punch or kick. Most fights aren't continued past cuts and bruises, maybe broken bones. Things that we can recover from and carry low risk of death due to modern medicine.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/17 05:28 PM
3

That has nothing to do with pulling punches. Animals (like men) tend to avoid fights they know they cannot win. If they think they have a good chance they will risk fighting, especially for a mate. Sounds exactly how most men act, especially when drinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/17 04:39 PM
1

Really? Perhaps a better example would be MMA where they enforce weight classes with the goal of having an equal fight. It usually ends up that way, creating an exciting match to watch but both fighters end up exhausted and often a little bloody. Phyrric victories are common. The opposite of that was Ronda Rouseys career up until the Holm fight. Rousey had yet to have a decent opponent and quickly and decisively defeated all previous opponents without getting hit much in return.

Level of violence.. appropriate or equal response..? Wtf is this Bullshit. If you find yourself in a fight abiding by those guidelines or moral high ground is a great way to lose badly. Example: If you bring a knife to a knife fight you're going to get cut. You never want to be in a fair fight, that usually results in a phyrric victory at best.

It's very easy to get addicted and many people who wake up used to play too much. To the extent that they take it like alcoholics anonymous and stay 100% away from it. If you can maintain it in a healthy fashion there is no harm but if you have trouble controlling it, 100% off is safer. Also it can chew up vast amounts of time, which can be detrimental to other goals.

Like the other poster said, imagine you were always talking to 6 year olds. It gets very boring very quickly, which isn't always a bad thing as far as TRP goes but it is frequently frustrating.

Yea no. I'm just short of your benchmark and I remember 1 occasion where that happened. Call it 1%, for the purposes of this discussion it is negligible.

Nope. Existential dread motivated the nation(Men and women) during WWII. Now there is no threat and people get lazy because they can.

Instead of a marginal victory he got a decisive win. The law is an absurdity in this case. Do not instigate physical violence if you can't take a hit.

So now she is presenting a valid threat but it is irrelevant? I know you are OK with him defending himself, but you're arguing about how hard he should have hit. If you have occasion to throw a real strike, there is no reason to hold back. This doesn't mean you throw a haymaker (risky heavy strike), you do what you can with the opportunity afforded.

/r/PussyPassDenied20/12/16 01:32 PM

Its a fight, all bets are off. the massive strength disparity means he could have hit at 50% and still done serious damage. If you've ever been in a serious fight you would know that theres no such thing as holding back, its more primal than that.

she started a fight while hopelessly outclassed. the result is surprising to no-one with half a brain. Once a fight is on, there is no good reason to hold back, you're fighting and if you're not fighting with everything you have, then you should just run.

The world is wonderful right now and there is no reason to think we have destroyed the world. It is changing, sure but that's normal and natural, maybe we are the harbingers of the next mass extinction, so what? I swam in school, 1500m in one go is A LONG DISTANCE. Swimming is exhausting compared with running or biking. Swimming the English channel is on par with climbing Everest, rather than a sporting or competitive event. The goal is surviving the trip rather than going for time. agnostic and gnostic are knowledge claims, atheist and theist are claims about god. For example, i am an agnostic atheist. I reject all god claims that have been presented to me for a lack of evidence, however i don't claim to have knowledge that gods do not exist. http://i.imgur.com/cMFcRJz.png
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 10:26 PM

Atheism is a lack of belief in God or gods not a belief that there is no god or supernatural creatures. Though the supernatural is almost unreal by definition - if anything supernatural measurably interacted with our world, it would simply be an (as yet) unexplained natural phenomena. Its a rejection of all god claims presented, not a claim that none can exist.

BS. Once you find your Basal metabolic rate (BMR) which you can estimate (±100) if your weight is stable, its trivial to set a caloric goal that will guarantee weight loss. BMR + calories burned working out - 500 = weight loss of 0.5 - 1lb per week i put in a range because a quick search indicated that 1lb fat will run between 3500-7000cal for humans to lose, due to other factors. even if we haven't sorted out every detail, the conservation of energy still applies.

assume that any given behavioural and physical trait is a variable, that gives you a vector of n traits [a b c... n], each of which has some value associated with it. From there, TRP informally has created an objective function which heavily favors youth, beauty and fitness where high values are better. f(age, fitness, beauty, ... n) = 10xage + 8xfitness + 8xbeauty + ...+1xn if we can descibe the behaviour of ±1 sigma of the highest scoring group, we'll capture 68% of the most attractive women t…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution if we capture 1 standard deviation (68%) in how women behave, that leaves plenty of room for your personal bias to assume the opposite. TRP works by using a model that describes enough of the population of women to be useful with the (somewhat exessive) use of AWALT, which I maintain is mostly due to the pendulum of views swinging too far from "everyone is a special snowflake" Honestly most people are easily predictable. Say with a dozen variable…

I'm honestly fucking tired of this "DONT TALK ABOUT TRP" bullshit. I've RPed my brother, my best friend and virtually all the guys i know will agree with me on the basics, leave the implementation to them however.

You dont need to try every method when you find one that works well enough to become the dominant method on the planet. Hell, perhaps others were tried, then they got conquered and in this case exterminated and enslaved by the stronger, more successful patriarchy

Im not quite sure what you mean when you reference B.O.B. likr that, but a big theme in the show is how much everyone was NOT disposable, and that they despised replacements until they proved themselves as survivors and demonstrated value to the team. Which is accurate, the most dangerous job in WWII wasnt infantry, it was being an infantrymans replacement. i have 2 things for this: you're absolutely right. when the need gets dire, none of that matters, the draft is liable to get extended all the way 18 (maybe 16) to 55 and allow for waivers on most if not all of the issues listed. Additionally, wartime rationing could solve some of the obesity issues. Alternatively, "prep" schools (read: fat camp) could drum some of the obese into acceptable shape for service, also, fat shaming would be socially encouraged.

Do you know how hard it would be to find a legitimate example of two people, one male one female, where they were equal in all other aspects EXCEPT for their sex? wat. The debate is anything a man can do a woman can do just as well. We aren't talking averages. the example we've been discussing is the skill of tennis players across gender lines, with the best (admitedly 2 points) data indicating the top 20 (and rising at the time) women could only compete with top 600 men

Evolution has instilled in all higher life forms several more basal urges that motivate us to survive and populate, proto-humans included. But mankind received a different gift than other animals. We didn't receive brute strength, we didn't receive extreme libidos; instead, we received intelligence and a distinct nurturing tendency to protect the few offspring that we produce. Evolution doesn't work that way. Nothing is gifted/instilled/received. It is all a function of what works well enough + …

well if you want to make culture out to be part of it, you need a culture that does things differently to make it stick, otherwise its a claim with no evidence or worse, evidence against it.

Career goals are influenced by culture. I doubt many women wanted to become doctors in 1900, but today nearly half of med school students are women. lawrence brought it up. As far as the former USSR goes, they went through feminism rather quickly as part of communism as far as i understand, they needed to after losing nearly an entire generation of young men, we saw no surge of female engineers then either.

For other cultures, look for female engineers coming out of the former USSR, china, japan, SE asia, the middle east, africa... Its even rarer there AFAIK (possible exception for japan/asia, but nowhere near enough to overtake men)

First off, to clear some confusion: It's gotten worse in certain STEM fields, but for the most part close to half of the people graduating from a STEM field are women. Women are the majority in biology (it's a simple and popular pre-med major) and social sciences (yes, they count as STEM according to the NSF, making it official). They just mostly leave natural sciences (chem being an exception), engineering, and computer science alone. Talk about redefining the term to make the numbers look bett…

There is No overpopulation problem. Earth could easily sustain 20 billion. What we see with the rise of everything you listed is genetic mutations that are not being weeded out because we have eliminated most of our selection pressures, allowing almost everyone the ability to pass on their genes. This is actually good for humanity because the variety will (hopefully) ensure that enough mutations will be useful when we reach the next population bottleneck (<100,000)

no. You started your claim with "a guy from TRP" I replied, referring still to the same "guy from TRP", NOT WOMEN. A man can reach that count with dedication and effort. A woman can do that in a month with almost 0 effort (source, i know one who did). A man in LTR has changed where he puts effort and energy from finding/fucking new women to spending time with/enjoying the company of 1 woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/15 05:00 PM

So a guy from TRP who fucked lets say 25 women, many at the same time who know nothing of one another decides to get married. I'll take things that require effort and dedication to craft for 800 alex. Also, it doesn't take much to hit that level without any overlap between partners. Is he going to be loyal? If so, what changed? He Chose to get married of his own accord and has the experience to judge whether the woman will be a suitable wife for him.

It’s a no-brainer that (gay people) should have the right to marry, but I also think equally that it’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist… It went to garbage real quick from here on. The government should not have marriage. The churches and people can do whatever they like. People should be able to "partner" and gain insurance or other health/death/financial benefits but each contract should be individually written by each couple, including conditions/terms of separat…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 03:53 PM

Some people actually believe in marriage. Divorce is seen by most men as an admission of failure in some form and best avoided for numerous reasons if it can be saved. From the FRs and LTR FR posts I've seen, it appears that explicit dread is a stalling tactic, but implicit dread, like joining a social group or working out or any real effort to improve/enrich yourself outside of career/marriage is enough to re-calibrate the relationship to a more acceptable level.

Why would he want to admit failure and defeat instead of "trying to fix things"?

Because they were fairly social in their early years or joined intensely social fraternities that created a wealth of opportunity. Or they appear fit and well dressed and you assume the rest without actually investigating further The rest is playing catch up on what works socially instead of having to spend years in the field trying to figure these same things out.

TRP Men, do you think that certain "nice guys" underestimated the importance of "appearance" and "presence" and used "being nice" as the "bad guy" because it's easier to blame women than it is to "lift" or "groom" or care about style and how you look? duhhhhhhh. Thats why the first piece of advice on TRP is to lift and the second is to dress better. /r/PurplePillDebate23/01/15 09:52 PM

I'm not sure how others do it, but for me there is very little pre-game, 0 in the moment game (its internal and natural or its not), and a decent amount of post-game review. In the moment, you take the shot, you don't have time to setup (much) and plan out the shot and then look at how it went.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/15 06:59 PM
1

Wait, you think I make the approach as an experiment to test something? No, the experiment is run on the fly and the analysis comes later, what worked, what didn't what should I do differently next time.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/15 03:59 PM
1

So you reject a working (though obviously incomplete) model because it makes interactions more predictable? I mean go ahead, I won't try to stop you but it seems like you're going about it randomly and enjoying a roller coaster flight of unpredictable results where I'm in the pilots seat choosing where I want to go and how to handle everything. Alright, I think the problem we are having is differing or inconsistent judging of attractiveness. I feel like I haven't done a good job explaining the model, but its not purely based off what someone looks like, so the score you (and everyone who hasn't talked to him) give can only be based on what you see. After that you have to actually interact and re-evaluate, which is where game comes into play (use as desired). Iterate over time and you can watch the scores converge and a relationship for…

irrelevant. The fact that it is even an option is enough to keep it in the light. it has become part of pop culture and it has become the folk cure for alcoholism. Its self sustaining, and there are enough people who see it as an easy fix for their problems and one in which they don't have to admit fault or take responsibility. Its heaven for people who don't want to do the research or try to be responsible.

Biology doesn't give a fuck. Its a 100% a case of whatever works, and if enough older women have lucky mutations such that their offspring are perfectly healthy, we may see a noticeable increase in the (healthy) fertility window.... in 100 generations.

There is a great scene in "we were soldiers" regarding hesitiation, it was durong training when they were unloading from helicopters. Hal Moore walks up to a helicopter coming in and grabs the lt onboard yelling "BAM, YOUR OFFICER IS DEAD WHAT DO YOU DO?" The fguy next to him hesitates and gets shoved back, "He's dead, what do you do?" The next guy finally replies "get off the chopper" while jumping out. If my only friends who lifted didn't live 300 miles away. I was back lifting with them + my brother over the holidays and they spotted a few form issues on bench that my trainer completely ignored. I haven't made any friends interested enough in fitness to commit to a lifting plan that is schedule compatible with work. The new plan is to skype periodically with my buddy who does lift like hulk and stay on track that way.

Underlying problems - maybe jealousy to her 1-year old brother. Yet she adores him. Stated out loud several times she loves only him in our family actually. I don't have kids, but there's an ongoing(?) saga of a horrible roommate/hamburglar that may serve as a warning sign.

As far as advantages for good-looking guys, I don't think that online dating gives them that much of an advantage. When you meet a girl, you still have to talk to her for a long time before getting anywhere. nooopee. You may be missing a bit, but these old rules are very probably referring to the man taking his bastards into his household to be raised, as a bastard, in his home. Women living on their own was nearly unheard of so it would support Homo homini lupus's point that child support is a new invention. And all this is contingent upon the man admitting that it is his bastard.

Movies for this situation... anything with a soundtrack you enjoy. Personally LOTR is long enough to get 2 or 3 rounds in with some amusment/battles between them and a soundtrack to make everything epic. TRON: Legacy has that fantastic Daft Punk soundtrack which is amazing for sex. The transformers movies have decent soundtracks but too many explosions/screaming to be good for this application. Star Wars, the new star trek, anything with a good score.

Eh. fair. It sounds like you are claiming that TRP is the truth so poor phrasing on my part, but my point stands. Its unlikely we are wrong on the "what" because we can observe it, but the "why" is mostly a black box for now. So we could still be wrong and are almost certainly wrong about some aspects, but the model works well enough for enough people, right now.

To be eliminated from the dating prospects pool on something that the aspirant is in control of (ie weight but not proportion) is a pretty clear indication that you don't accept that choice and don't want to have a relationship with someone who made it. It is a move down on their place in your social circle. I was aware of that when I signed up and well aware of that now. I lacked discipline and good tracking of my workouts. BP does have those tools, its actually Red pill that lacks them. Look at the (typically great) BP advice given on /r/relationships. How did those BP people get those kinds of insights (particularly, when to dump someone and when to fight for them), if BP doesnt have the tools? Red pill on the other hand explicitly tells you to dump and move on from a girl who isnt "giving you what you need" (aka sex whenever you want it). This rules out most women, leaving only the very rare high-libedo women an…

Hitler could have won if he concentrated on Moscow OR on Stalingrad and the oil fields beyond, not both though and not without creating a dangerous salient either way. History is a much closer thing than the history books portray, another example; on D-day Omaha beach (see iconic scene in saving private ryan) was about 5min from being abandoned as a lost cause, when a pair of destroyers made a gun run and a few tanks made it ashore to push inland.

BP doesn't have the tools (aside from gut instinct) to correctly identify women like that. I did take the TRP route, it wasn't particularly satisfying. Meh. I still keep looking for a decent person, finding one is tougher than I anticipated, being religious would make it easier... (they DQ me for not being religious).

I'm not sure I want to go all in on the details. for now the short version: She feels romance is gone, leaves well off guy and takes kid. She wants to party and slut it up after about 10min with her (she came over for drinks) I notice shes litterally following the redpill script to the letter, qualifying to me, sharing her past exploits as an attempt to make herself appealing, talking about her (honestly dismal) future and how she still expects to find a hot rich guy. She had previously admitted…

The parts of TRP that arent just "universal good advice anyone could give you", work but only on a self-selecting subset of damaged women. This appears to be rather true. I had a rather enlightening/disturbing experience this weekend. It literally went down following the redpill script word for word. And TBH it wasn't really that great.

By the way, that's why people say that you're sexist. You're the first ones to cry misandry whenever someone points out that 90% of rapes are perpetrated by men ("Not ALL men are like that!), but the second a stat comes out that decries women it's "Red-Pill Truth". I don't think TRP has ever denied that a majority of rapes are perpetrated by men, however that is still a vanishingly small number of men committing these violent crimes so "not all men are like that" applies. The behavior of women a…

Hmm, I would say I disagree with the sometimes accompanied follow up that its easier for a "9" to be awful though. What do you mean by this? as in a 9 can get away with being a terrible person or otherwise rude to peoples faces? It occurred to me that you may not mean it as a personal attack, when discussing theory it may be more appropriate to avoid the usage of "you". As for the points model, I figured it was understood that the 10 point scale is only really applied to looks, because it is a surface assessment that all men can make quickly and use in discussion separate from personality. So that 6/10 looks is LTR material by being a 9/10 or 10/10 in personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/14 11:25 PM
1

Whats the point though? whats the purpose? where are you going? Why are you doing it if there is no goal? /s
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/14 10:58 PM
2

well that was a quick jump to a personal attack. Regardless, my self evaluation is irrelevant, the model holds true, women are the gatekeepers of sex and men for commitment. If a 9 is excessively bitchy or annoying or w/e its not worth the trouble. If a 9 is loyal and both parties needs are met, happiness can abound. The problem is finding suitable LTR characteristics in a 9 under 30. IE not out partying 4 nights a week.

since I do not believe life has any meaning regardless of whether or not I reproduce Then go ahead and stop eating, lay down and get it over with. Why do you need an end goal or purpose? Is the journey itself not reward enough? For billions of years it has been more than enough to lead (NOT INEVITABLY) to you and I having this discussion. The harsh reality is that you are not special, we are not special, our species is not particularly special, our planet is fairly unremarkable and orbiting an i…

Really? Its more of a pragmatic approach that the "9/10" is going to be so constantly bombarded with attention that she wont be satisfied with exclusively your attention. She is also likely to be spoiled by all her friends (orbiters). The sweet 6 is far more likely to retain things that make them attractive for LTRs, namely honesty, loyalty and stability. For example, if a girl lists her instagram on tinder, shes automatically disqualified as a serious prospect because she is a validation whore.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/14 10:28 PM
1

so? you might as well just lay down and die then.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/14 10:07 PM
1

So there isn't competition to reproduce? Or competition to raise successful offspring? There are certainly winners and losers, look to the people with plenty of resources that are idolized by the rest of us for winners and the street corners for the losers. Your sex drive and the pleasure you get from sex exist entirely to encourage you to produce offspring and ensure the next generation. Sex was literally winning until contraception was invented and made widely available.

They aren't particularly high, I am attracted to a fairly large swath of women, but finding one who I actually want to be with for an extended period is much more difficult. If your interests consist of "travel" and "partying" you have nothing to offer other than a lifetime of misery if i don't deliver on those whims. Which I wouldn't because while I do like to travel, it is a luxury that is not high on my priority list.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/14 09:41 PM

Enjoy your Darwin award then. I wonder how history will remember feminism, a large swath of women who became so "liberated" that they forgo child bearing and allow the more submissive, traditional women/cultures to thrive until their attitudes die out. Like it or not, life is a competition, with the programmed end goal of you passing on your genes to the next generation. Choosing not to do so represents a failure of the highest order. (this applies to both men and women)

Here's how I would write the same sentiments: I can do pretty much anything I want: lose or gain weight, hike for mile after mile, day after day through all sorts of environments, lift 100+kg, repress my own hunger and thirst, stay awake and alert through around a week to a few months of stressful sleeplessness, hold onto physical memories for swift attacks and easy crafting, stand and move on through illness and pain... Yes, but it sounds like you think of your body almost as a distinct entity from your mind, though your body is the vessel of the mind. You say "my body" or "your body" instead of "I" and "you". Its a short step from there to absolve the mind of any guilt from the actions of the body.

No. You're saying that the context is irrelevant. i am offering a thought experiment to demonstrate that the contrary is true.

when you define acceptable sexual behavior, you project what you think is acceptable rather than what people enjoy doing.

Do you even value a priori logic? Science is fine, but if you can't think, imagine, or intuit, then you are a slave to anyone who slaps the label of science on whatever they parse from the rubbish. While this is true, a priori logic and intuition are not to be trusted entirely as they are very often wrong, especially on more complex subjects. But in the absence of good evidence, we make do with it.

I don't need to read it. The context doesn't matter. The messages are bad enough that the context cannot in anyway justify the message. Really, so is there any context in which suicide is a good thing? I'm not even talking about being offered suicide as the easy way out of resigning or a punishment.

Its not fallacious when you have the evidence/research available. Do you have evidence showing a contrary position.

Because this sub is your debating ground, not the main TRP sub.

Have you seen the BDSM community and some of the shenanigans they pull, entirely consenting?

Things I care about: His descriptions of logical fallacies are generally correct Things I don't care about: he injects pro-feminist and progressive arguments throughout the video in an attempt to explain fallacies and argue vs a "strawman" When describing logically fallacies it pays to pick arguments that are popular with viewer and that are easy to stawman, so his choices make sense. I was trying to avoid linking to a wiki of logical fallacies, because they turn into walls of text, but for thos…

SJW's and Feminists tend to strawman beyond belief (on reddit especially, purple pill debate sub), they tend to shut up when you call attention to the ludicrous leaps of logic they make. Its just like feeding the hamster, you can't let their ludicrous questions and strawmen catch you off-guard, redirect and force them to explain their logic. Also, for the unitiated, a brief intro to logical fallacies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qb-h0sXkH4

You're a natural and are happy. You have no need for TRP. Hell I only looked into it when it explained much of the confusion I had for why women did some of the things they do, I'm ever the curious one and that gave me the answers I needed to improve my "game", actually pretty significantly.
