/r/FeMRADebates is the only one I'm aware of with a vaguely similar theme as this one. There's also /r/PunchingMorpheus, which is quiet but often has some interesting discussion taking place. However, it was specifically created as a reaction to the popular /r/everymanshouldknow post about TRP, so it obviously has bias. Might be worth taking a look at /r/TiADiscussion, too.

Are you just looking for debate surrounding gender issues/dating, or is it more of a broad interest in all types of debate topics?

Until recently I would have said OneY. But they've changed their rules such that you pretty much have to agree with the mods /u/takeittorcirclejerk and /u/jess_than_three who, if you aren't familiar, are pretty radical SJWs.

/r/femradebates is a great debate forum for MRAs and feminists. The moderation is quite stringent but there quality of discussion there is really good. The mods should add it to the sidebar.

I'm promoting /r/equalrightsmovement whenever I get the chance. I'd like to hold structured debates geared toward identifying issues, then discussing them in a constructive manner. If enough people are interested, I'd like to take on a lot of the issues already being discussed here and hold debates on the individual topics, one at a time, with posting rules designed to keep the focus of discussion on point until a resolution has been reached. The idea is to start small, and build on what we learn as we go.

I think that's the biggest flaw of PPD. There is no focus. There are no rules to keep people on topic. Most threads will bring up an idea, and the discussion tends to be all over the place. As a result, any debates that are actually had within tend to get buried under all the noise making what could be learned an incoherent mess to outsiders.

If I can garner the interest of individuals who are interested in calm rational discussion who also care about equal rights, then I think we can actually get somewhere. So if this interests you then you're invited to take part. If you were going to take part, what is a topic for discussion you would like to see discussed first?
