Which brings up the interesting question of "what is attraction?". One could argue that her learning of my alignment is in itself something that makes me attractive to her, because she now knows that I am up to give her something she wants. I tend to define attraction as any trait or action that makes a connection appealing. Which is why I caution others to never confuse overall attraction with physical attraction. One can have good looks and then when they open their mouths completely destroy a…

Numbers certainly help. The more shots you have the better. The good news is you don't necessarily need high numbers if you increase your skills in other areas. For example, reading body language. I used to be really bad at that. Now that I am better at it, I am able to pick up on the cues of girls who are interested in me. This allows me to focus on them instead of having to shotgun it like before.

True, the concept of being as upfront of possible is more to find the girls who are aligned with your interests. There is no point in being with someone if you two are on two different pages fundamentally about what you want. Case in point, one of my favorite stories to tell is a girl I met on OK Cupid. Great first date, we go out on a second one. At the end of the second date she tells me she just got out of a long relationship and she thought she was ready to date again but she wasn't and didn…

Can confirm. As someone who feels that he has punched above his weight, the biggest feedback I got from the girls I was with was that they appreciated me being upfront and honest about my intentions. Girls are fine with you telling them what you want so long as you are ok with the answer being no.

The way I see it. There isn't anything inherently wrong with you, otherwise you would never get that far. You might have a certain set of tendencies that are picked up after being with you for six months that these girls don't find compatible . That's not necessarily a bad thing because it's a filter to find those who really like you. If it's still concerning you, then you can do some self reflection to see if there is something that is making the filter too sensitive

Oh that's normal. I was thinking you were stuck at 2-3 months. There is no shame in letting something go post 6 months. That's about the time where you have figured each other out and if it's not a match it's best to move on because at that point you are just investing time you could be putting else where with a girl who really wants to be with you.

I think we would need a bit more information to give a better assessment. In my opinion the simplest way to go about it is to find out from the girls you are seeing what they are looking for. It's ok after the first few dates to voice your intentions and wants (in fact I think women find that very respectable) and to see if these wants align with the person you are with. If she is looking for the same thing, great! If not then at least you know and can now move on to the next girl to see if she …

This is really good advice. In the end the only thing you can control is you. I wasn't in too different position as you. I graduated college with only kissing I think one girl at most and I was a virgin. Believe me I know how that can severely wreck with your confidence and fill you with regret. I ended up losing my virginity at 23 and then had some more success with girls over the years by just making small changes (i.e dressing better, working out, getting more hobbies, etc...). Now I look bac…

Yea I figured that might be the best course of action at this point. Maybe let this go for a while and focus on this other girl.

Then you'll just have to keep playing the field. Like others have said it's best to just be upfront with the intentions. If anything the fact that you are willing to walk away will make them possibly want to reconsider. What IS important is that you make them feel good. You want them to have a reason to reconsider. If you are just making them feel average then they'll be ok with you walking away.

Right I mean call it whatever you want, the end result is still the same. You aren't giving off the vibe of attractiveness that a girl likes and wants to be around. I call it the friendzone merely because there isn't a better term for it currently and it's much easier to sum it up in one word than have to explain the total theory of it every time. One of the biggest changes I made for the better was being upfront about my wants and intentions. If a girl says she wants to be my friend I simply re…

Sometimes keeping it simple is the best option. With practice you will eventually find your own style that you like best for asking a girl out. In the meantime, go with the basics. Ask her what she will be doing on a certain day and if she is available ask if he would like to go out with you. As for what to do, keep it light. Find something that you can both do together and will keep you both active. That will help with any awkward pauses you have as you get to know each other better.

I did it once. I don't know if I could ever replicate it though because I was in a really good mood and I felt like I could do anything. I was walking in the mall with my friend and as I was passing a store I caught eye contact with the hot sales rep and normally I would look away. This one time though for some reason I decided to hold the look for just a bit longer and smile. Then I looked away. My friend though picked up on it and looked after me and said that he saw the girls face and she was…

I will freely admit that luck has played a part in all this. What is nice is that my skills have developed to the point where when these good opportunities come up I'm not fucking it up, which is what I used to do.

Like I said in the previous comment about firefly. I will add this though, make sure the question is genuine. Don't just ask a question for the sake of asking. Because more than likely she is going to ask you questions back, and if you have no clue what you are talking about it's going to be weird.

For me it was asking questions. That seemed to almost never fail. I may not have gotten dates out of all of them but I got at least a response 70%-80% of the time. I would usually look for something in the profile that we had in common and ask a question about it. So like if they are a fan of firefly I'd ask what their favorite character is.

I especially like point number 4. Remember everyone has their own style. Your goal is to find a style that works for you. If you need some guidelines in the beginning before your figure out your style then that's when you can do things such as the "wait 2 days" rule. Or maybe ask for some tips on where to take the girl etc... Just remember that this is just to get you started. You take these things and mold them into your own. Now when I am getting things set up with a girl I have my own approac…

Yea I used to do the following thing to for the exact reason the explained in the article. There is this irrational thought that pops up every time that if you don't hang around her she's going to find someone else. What this article does is put some nice logic on it. If you have done well in the beginning you've already put yourself out there. Doing your own thing at the party is almost a way of verifying your game. If you did well, she'll come to you. If she doesn't, no biggie. Tweak your game…

Exactly. What I have come to learn is that it's a little bit like Ayn Rand's theory of objectivism. She said it's good to help people as long as it's your choice and you aren't sacrificing yourself and your happiness for the benefit or happiness of others. It's the same thing here. If you want to be nice, be nice. Be you. The only thing to look out for is the feeling of unhappiness when you feel you are bending over backwards for someone. If that's happening it's time to take a deep look at the …

I remember when I used to be a "Nice Guy". It was very obvious in college I had no idea what I was doing and had no understanding of women. As a result I became a late bloomer and didn't really start getting it until around 23-24. But hey better late than never, and since then I have become much more secure and confident and the results are showing.

I think it's both. If you go back to the article you'll notice he does talk about how it depends on the mood of the girl. It could be that on that night the girl is feeling horny and even though she usually will be looking for something interesting, in that moment she's just looking for fun. If that happens then it would be no surprise she would jump in bed with a really hot guy who pushed the right buttons.
