That sounds a lot like psychotherapy is gonna work on you better than PUA, do you live in a country with a decent health insurance?

Best functioning approach is body language. Read "Undercover Sex Signals" by Leil Lowndes.

When you wrote "They like me for who I am. Fuck Yeah!!" I had a broad smile on my face because I was happy for you and because that is one of the important turning points. Now you've set yourself free a bit :)
/r/seduction27/02/21 01:17 PM
3

Well have you tried being yourself instead of playing a role, playing on your nature instead of playing on technique, playing on honesty instead of "doing the soothing" and so on?
/r/seduction05/01/21 01:04 PM
1

I honestly think you are most likely following the wrong base approach in dealing with women and as a result you are getting all those hardly explainable and hard to deal with reactions when you get "dismantled" for your wrong base approach. If not, you might just be lacking the character to deal with women straight and understand them, which would be worse than wrong base assumptions.
/r/seduction05/01/21 12:13 PM

I'm really pleased that the "just be yourself" advice is finally sanely being processed in the community.

Get my book "Black Stripes Method by the Roaster" next month
/r/seduction04/01/21 05:11 AM
1

Well depends on your definition of flirting. It's basically a body language book after all.
/r/seduction27/12/20 09:53 AM
2

Well basically the text body of the book covers the whole body language from spotting to approaching, talking et cetera basically till the pull, but the really interesting part is the 26 preening signals (that used to be called ioi's in pickup, until some $&§$§&$ hijacked the term). I was answering the above post with a hint on this book, because with those preening signals, you have a conscious, logical and almost surefire way of detecting attraction in a woman before you even talk her up. This…
/r/seduction26/12/20 08:57 PM
2

Well not all "Ladies Men" are actually dumbfucks, and the issue you are tackling there ("only tells you his truth") is also true for a lot of pickup styles, because it's not completely new that Mystery Method works best for Mystery, just an example.
/r/seduction26/12/20 03:44 PM
13

Ahm if you want kind of a "map" of body language signals of attraction, read "Undercover Sex Signals" by Leil Lowndes. It's all in there.
/r/seduction26/12/20 03:40 PM
0

Ahm yeah, you definitely leveled up on jealous demenour in the process, whatever that says about your communication skills. But just between you and me, you do not have the slightest idea what charisma actually is, how character imprints work, how they are developed and instanciated for the individual and all these things. So in short, no one is against you giving people a communication training or whatnot, but don't tell people you can help them with their charisma, it's a) probably an outright…

I'm talking about the idea of "teaching charisma". Dude, you should really boil it a bit lower.
/r/seduction24/12/20 07:49 PM
1

If you've been "out of the business" for quite a while, you should maybe start with two books that are pretty much what guys start nowadays with if they have someone to give them the right introduction. It's "Models" by Mark Manson and "Fundamentals of Female Dynamics" by Michael Knight.
/r/seduction24/12/20 07:48 PM
1

Ahm I don't want to ruin your show, but your show should be ruined. Charisma stems from whats called character imprints in psychology, and those cannot be taught by coaching people, reading books or watching DVD sets. Actually, if you would teach them effectively, you would run your clients through traumas so harsh that calling it psychological violence would be an understatement. So honestly, I might be playing my life on "cheat codes" big time and you might not like that, give and take, but yo…
/r/seduction24/12/20 07:40 PM
2

Being basically a "schooled natural", I can just tell you that it's your character imprints and your psychosexual imprints. Imprints like that are not actually really learnable from a book, course or coach, so you either have natural skills or a dead end here.

oh whoops i repostet too fast, sorry for that. yeah it's actually about making women meet guys, but i'll just tell anita to make her own account and make her own posts / points about it :)

Honestly, because the whole idea of "getting girls" through cold approach is utter nonsense, because all you can archieve with it, without other measures, is that you act like one of those guys who tries to call tourists into shops so that they buy something, and because if you _should_ really learn to "plow" all your way through to sex with that method, you'll end up as a black page in the sexual history of the girl, just like as if you, as a tourist, got called into a shop, got lured into buyi…

No, it's just too "female logic" for you to get it. Tells a story... Edit: Look, you can follow a quadrizillion Gurus and "become someone new" every day if you want, and still not get girls. Or you can try to finally really understand this little gambit and get it done. I don't give a sh** if this gets downvoted, srsly. I care if people have any idea of the true circumstances.

Dude I've been there, that's the point in life where it starts to work out for you. The next step you can take, is to learn to switch your mind off and do it completely from your guts. Learning mindfulness meditation is a quick and very good solution for that ;)

Just a little hint, read Undercover Sex Signals by Leil Lowndes, and you'll be able to tell upfront by her body language.
/r/seduction29/09/20 01:47 AM
1

Hi u/Survivingnthriving. Well this sub isn't exactly too high level to be honest. Most of the guys helping other guys out are just guys getting helped out by other guys, hehe. I agree that playing a role is a bad thing, but it can actually happen that what you learn from the community (well the overall one) ends up with you stopping to play roles, if you want so. Besides that, we have girls asking for advice, too, just not so many.
/r/seduction19/09/20 11:30 PM

Charisma. Then comes nothing for quite a while, and then comes confidence and such.

Well if I had only one Pickup Guide that I could read, I would retrospectively probably choose undercover sex signals by Leil Lowndes. Besides that, fundamentals of female dynamics is a good primer, too. the 3% man... well i hate the idea of ruining my sexual reputation among women, too much of this stuff doesn't reckon the female side of the equasion, just like too many feminists don't reckon the male side.

Can you hear the young guns screaming in the comments? I totally agree with you, being in the same situation, but this subreddit is sometimes full of immature answers...
/r/seduction01/04/20 01:01 AM

In general, to impress males (i.e. trigger them sexually) you need to use the visual impression they get from you, because that's where most of the triggers are (besides touch and everything really sexual). Like what they see of your body, the shape of it, the "round parts", also make up and how you do your hair, stuff like that. You can also break the touch barrier if you have a well chosen man, and nowadays talking up men is not really out of scope, too. You can put some research into how to s…

Terretorial Geistures, like marking your "ownership" by taking up more space.
/r/seduction29/03/20 11:28 PM
1

Terribly hard to tell without personally knowing you. Some females really are so attractive that most guys can't collect enough courage to try, or maybe you don't make the best of it. Remember that male attraction get's mostly triggered by visual cues if that is the case. And that "being totally natural" is male terrain, not female (which is also why say make-up works like a charm). Overall it's almost impossible to tell over a text-based medium.

the movie "Spread" (2009 or so)
/r/seduction23/03/20 02:22 AM
1

Well I always forget the exposure part, I was hitting venue after venue anyway when I got into pickup, so the exposure (volume) was never an issue for me.
/r/seduction21/03/20 12:59 PM
1

I have no idea why there is none, I've seen it several times in real life though. I actually don't care about it, I care about the truth. Edit: And to be honest, you should really stop trying to prove a point that does not help you in any way. Looks do NOT play the same role in attractiveness evaluation for most women as it does in men, end of the story. Gobble that up or go through your life in delusion, over and out.
/r/seduction20/03/20 11:01 PM
1

Did it ever cross your mind that this might as well serve to satisfy the viewers prejudice? On one hand, on the other hand, extremely charismatic people oftentimes but not always also have features like high testosterone levels and the corresponding chin line. Look, all this is what actually popped up to be much closer to the truth than the usual pickup folklore, and you should seriously consider what I have to say about this. Looks and Money are just societies comfortable excuse to the question…
/r/seduction20/03/20 10:39 PM
1

Look, if you go down that road furthermore, you'll find out that only around 5% of all women are sexually visually triggerable like 100% of us guys. The other 95% get triggered by the charisma (or character imprints) of a guy, for which they have elaborate detection mechanisms which seem to make extensive use of microgeistures and such, it's really not that easy like "look good, get the women" or "have money, get the women".
/r/seduction20/03/20 08:41 PM
1

Dude I was basically talking real life evidence. I knew a guy who went to the same venue as me, who probably flew through a windshield or was a heavy case of acne, I didn't ask but he was almost disfigured right in his face, and he had one hot babe after the other, just because there was 'something to him' which we call charisma or character.
/r/seduction20/03/20 08:37 PM
1

I don't have Videos, but I have real life experience that says pretty much the same thing. Only that it's basically character that you need, which you can use to generate that confidence.
/r/seduction20/03/20 08:08 PM

After 17 years in the game, I just boiled it down to signal reading, playing out my natural character and intuition, sounds easy but is actually a long road.
/r/seduction20/03/20 05:30 PM
3

Ahm yeah, another guy who got it. I'd still say that actually this seduction stuff is pretty cool, but most people get it wrong and sacrifice their natural personality on the altair of PUA, which is a recipe for backfiring.

/r/seduction05/03/20 03:40 AM

Well you are asking the most difficult and complex question first, which is in a way smart, but probably also a bit misleading for you. First about all, if you have a look at how this community developed, it really started off a bit like "faking your way into her pants" style, and actually that does leave a bitter taste in the mouth for most women. Also, I don't know how this works out in your country, but in my country, cold approach daygame is pretty much so hard against the social norm that s…

That's zLibrary. Well basically, it's perfectly legal to post that link, it's actually downloading a rawcopy if you download the pdf, but i never heared of anyone getting in trouble because of doing that, and you'll get a perfectly fine and virus free pdf.

The best way to break through this, is actually to learn mindfulness meditation. This will get you rid of way more problems than you can probably imagine right now. There's a book called "Tranquil Mind" by Rob Nairn (not the terribly expensive collectors thing on amazon, you should be able to get it for like 10 bucks or so). It's the best introduction I know. Worked great for me!
/r/seduction31/01/20 05:33 AM

Going out alone is like the total goto solution for anyone who doesn't get out of his comfort zone, because if you don't have anyone there to do chody stuff, you're forced to have interactions with the other people, even if it's just for learning how to socialize better. Thumbs up.

Oh dear, that sounds like rationally you have a mindjob, but deep down you feel something. I can flirt well, but I just do it from the guts. But maybe there's some books on the topic that can help you... Arden Leighs Pickup Guide for females maybe Link or maybe just a good communication training with NLP. Also, believe it or not, I found Flirting for Dummies :D Besides that, you should ask the females in here for support more, like from my experience, the crazy stuff is that the whole equasion l…

I'd not say everything is black or white. Pickup has some very shady corners, like any other discipline, say psychology (look at your TV ads if you don't believe me), or physics (atom bombs? srsly?) or any other discipline. I just don't like people painting it all black in the mainstream media.

/r/seduction26/01/20 02:52 AM

Yeah I had some similar experiences. It was about that the concept of value is hopelessly useless in seduction, whereas the concept of charisma or character is actually useful, because that determines if what you say or do is perceived as "valuable" in a Tylerish sense. Honestly, they don't care if you have a better conception of it or not, if they're right or wrong, as long as they can do their thing and, first and foremost, cash in for it. Guess they want value :) Edit: thats actually only a s…

Ahm yeah, especially the hair play and the head turn. But in general, if you want to get good at reading ioi's, read "undercover sex signals" by leil lowndes.
/r/seduction23/01/20 07:07 AM

Well the initial assessment of attractiveness of a female mostly works over visual cues for us guys. Most females assess the charisma of a guy first. So from the getgo, you should have your visual impression in shape (i know feminists don't like that, but it's the truth and it seems to be genetically caused). Your character mostly accounts for your likeability for us guys. In addition to that, one of the other commenters said you should make him feel like he's seducing you, that is actually a go…

Well you're on the right track. Besides that, the guy who invented the whole "alpha exemplar" thing had to draw back his initial study of wolves which was based on observation. There are no real alpha-animals, but there's something we call an alpha-trait which can take many different forms. But besides that, people tell you that "be yourself" is bad advice because they want to sell you their advice. If you start following them through, you'll wear a "Tyler mask" basically (or any other PUA guru)…

For the inner part, have you tried mindfulness meditation? That helps a lot to deal with negative thought spirals and such. That's what I say all the time. The idea that you can learn seduction just by doing one daygame cold approach after the other is just flawed, I mean why should you? Also, it seems pretty much like the whole thing may work in areas in the US where anybody talks to everyone else on the street anyway, but it doesn't as soon as there is any social distance involved. From one German guy to the other, try to get to know people in social spots, warm up the leads before you try to seduce them, and try…

Maybe you should follow all that advice until you know what it means to wear a mask so you can finally drop all masks you instinctively wear when talking to girls. You both have a point, this guy got it figured pretty well, and you have a harder route until you learn to let go. But it's not as much about what you NEED to do to get a woman, it's more about what you really don't need to do but actually do all the time. Edit: Probably without realizing...

Uhm you need to realize that an IOI is actually a genetically induced body language item of a female, there's 26 of those. If you want to know them, read Undercover Sex Signals by Leil Lowndes. I would guess it was also the RSD guys who rebranded the term IOI into generally a woman giving you signs of interest in any different way. Originally, it was 26 body language items that females use to signal interest in a guy they see anywhere, and also for the most part, completely unconscious of it. I …
/r/seduction05/01/20 05:03 AM
2

Sounds very intriguing, but it's actually bullshit. Learn to read IOIs as good as you can, and if you're even mildly attractive, you don't need to worry much about it. Tyler's base argument was that watching for IOI's makes you needy for IOI's and in turn you stop to get those, and that's why he went that route. I started watching for IOI's many years ago, I also went through the phase that I was needy for them, didn't change anything about it. Tyler got it all wrong another time, end of story.

Just read Undercover Sex Signals by Leil Lowndes and watch the ioi shit for yourself, it's pretty insane stuff, and I think the RSD guys started telling people to ignore something that is very important. Not true after reading one scientific psychology book after the other for about a decade, are you freaking kidding me? You can't call anything a fact in a science like psychology if the studies and control studies that have been done, don't fill half a library due to the nature of the topic at hand. You are just prone to the most basic mistake in thinking about seduction and sexual attraction - the mistake is that it must work similar for the other gender, just in a version fitted to the other g…

Womens attraction triggers are mostly over character imprints (commonly called charisma), but there's still like 5% or so who are mainly visually triggerable (most of them are tomboys) so there's an exception to that rule. The issue might be more or less about girls who are too young to even have figured what turns them on in guys, stuff like that.

Dude, if you have a theoretical framework in your head, you need to let it sink in by letting it grind along reality, so you need to try to put the framework to work and see where you get and learn from that. No grinding, no learning, no results.

True. But there's still the perspective to make your own version of what the seduction community teaches you, a version that is executable while you're still yourself. Basically just finding your own ways of putting yourself to work in regards of seducing women. I just want to tell you that now you've seen the issue, you can already see that this is the only feasible way of doing that. You learned a lot of ways how people made that work for themselves, now make a version that works for you, the …

I'm seventeen years in the game, and this GeeseCTM guy basically got it figured. Edit: When you start building your own stuff based on your own character, stuff starts to really work out, but it's a long road until you can do that, especially since we have a lot of magic pills to swallow on that road. That's the point you get to when you're stubborn enough to really pull it off. Edit 2: Okay let me explain it a bit from my viewpoint on this. What you come across after putting so many years int…

A usual therapeutical tool against anxiety is dezensitation, which means that you gradually take greater "risks" and by that slowly get over the fear. If someone has extreme fear of heights, you'd put the person on something 20cm high, then maybe 30 or 40cm, then on a stool and so on, and the fear slowly gets controllable. Some people do that (in the case of fear of height) with a VR headset. So you went out alone, socialized a bit and nobody ate you alive, so all you need is to slowly and gradu…

Okay as a guy, let me like take your perspective a bit. I would honestly say it strongly depends on the man material you have available, since in some way, it's also how strong you filter. If you can afford to filter strong (eg you have good material available) then it actually makes sense.

That, and you might want to learn how to read body language. That usually helps people on the spectrum a lot to not miss social cues like flirting. Gave a whole bunch of that sort of material to some and had great responses.

Okay first about all, Approaching isn't everything (although often taught otherwise). You need Theory and Praxis. Also, first about all, doing daygame approaches sucks badly, because it almost always leads to rejection, and almost never leads to sex, and if it does, it's probably some girl who slept with half the city anyway (yuck, stds). So first about all, do more nightgame, it's way easier. Second, refine your approach. Look for body language IOI's (read undercover sex signals by leil lowndes…

Ah those thoughts are more a catalyst for your bad feelings about the breakup. You probably just read this stuff at the wrong point in time. Nothing speaks against seeing a psychologist though. I've seen it quite often that directly after a breakup, seduction advice can just hurt you. You should first get over it to the degree that you stopped playing blame me - blame her in your mind, and then get at it again.

I think you're somewhat confusing being authentic and talking about your feelings. There's a bit of an overlap there, but it's actually not really the same concept. Think about that for a second. There's a difference between "hey seeing you talk with this guy makes me angry" and a direct expression of anger, although we're talking about bad feelings here. At the same time, saying "I'm happy with you" is not the same thing than a possible direct expression of that happiness, like say cooking her …

Okay I usually post this when girls ask questions like that. You should get your hands on some of the few good seduction books for women, and besides that, there is some books written for both genders. If you're a nerd and need something more scientific, look into evolutionary psychology which also has a lot of knowledge about mating strategies. If you don't care much for scientifically backed stuff, but want a good communication training, then there's some good nlp books out there.

1) Honestly, there are sane arguments for NLP still, but there's an issue with the whole way to lead it in that it touches on things that are pretty toxic for most readers, that's why I'd like to skip on this point. 2) First, every news show knows that it's very easily possible to hammer home a point you're making by just quoting what supports the points you want to make, and leave out anything else. Look, it's terribly totally not about what your clothes cost. As a man, the clothes you wear should be a (succesfull) display of your good personality traits. Okay I hope you don't mind if I go a bit into the psychobabble here. The main issue is, that the initial assassment of attractivity works totally different for men and women (or more like, in 75% of all cases). Men INITIALLY assess the attractiveness of women mainly by optical cues, and women have a whole wood of antennas for charisma. The thing is, like with ostrich feathers, they have mechanisms so that those antennas can't be cheated, and these mechanisms actually also manifest in a total hos…

If you want a girl you don't even know, you best slowly turn it into a warm approach by repeated exposure, which is much closer to social circle game than to cold approach pickup. Sounds a bit like you're still trying to play roles to get girls, or at least try to hard. Play the following role when trying to get a girl: the real you. Girls do not react well if you are trying to make them like you. They react to seeing your real character. 1) try going to real raves, people are much easier to talk to there 2) I don't know if you did that, but go alone or you will always default to hanging out with your buddies, which will keep you from getting to know people 3) You need to think in sets. Usually, theres 2-4 people in a bunch. If you have a 4 set with 2 females and 2 guys, start to talk to the less attractive female, work your way to the more attractive female, and don't forget to befriend the whole set (also the guys) or they will…

Okay I'm cutting it short here. The idea to use acting skills to get women is not exactly new, it's actually probably the oldest idea around. In short, you don't. Now take it like a man and come up with something different.
/r/seduction06/05/19 12:32 AM
4

Well you already pretend to know things you dont, look, if you dont want to learn from experienced people, then go for the girls.
/r/seduction06/05/19 12:04 AM
2

I'm in this seduction / PUA thing since 17 years, and no I don't suffer nice guy syndrome. It's just that you are terribly inexperienced and if you don't get advice that reinforces your existing beliefs, you react pissed. Well, how far did your existing beliefs get you up to now? In the end, the guy is right who gets the lay.
/r/seduction05/05/19 11:36 PM

Then go out and try it out. If you don't want to learn from other people, learn from reality.

Its not hard to understand, it just doesn't work that way.
/r/seduction05/05/19 10:50 PM

Just honestly, you're basically creating your own barriers. You kind of try to categorize and logitize yourself out of the game basically. There's like a quadrizillion ways this could happen. Also, rest assured that your acting skills won't be as good as you thought. Also, girls have a way better social sensorium than guys, so fooling yourself into their pants won't work because your betrayal would need to be way better than their sensorium, which is literarily impossible. Yet, of course you can…
/r/seduction05/05/19 10:48 PM

You need to work with their eyes basically. Girls crave character and personality, and guys go visual impression first. So give the guys something to look at, be a littlebit touchy, and also try to "tap into a different stream" of people, other locations, other types of events.
/r/seduction05/05/19 08:59 PM

Well I'm usually a pretty chilled out guy, too, but I sure have a nightclub mode if you want so. Comes from basically me liking the idea of going to nightclubs long before i started with stuff like reading seduction manuals. I just like to go to those places naturally, and that's how it should be. I don't like the whole idea of people going to nightclubs solely for the purpose of picking up girls, nightclubs are amusement places, you're supposed to like the idea or not go there. That's also what…

Uhm you actually can't learn real natural game from DVD Sets or books (or bootcamps or coaches or forums), but when you develop some of it (which can happen), you get stuff exactly like that. Like you don't feel like you do anything different, but suddenly you get all the ioi's and all the attention. If that's the case, you should also notice harsh changes in interaction outcomes. Lol no 100% here. Pandora's box is sort of a "type teaching" in regards to women and their mating behavior. I think that type teaching isn't like "serious research" in any way. Hi u/LunaTheFerret, I'm just curious if you actually know that, besides the mainstream stuff, there's guys who actually base their stuff on authenticity, and try to proceed with things like meditation and self-dev ("be the best version of yourself that you can be"), also getting their shit handled so that kind of as a second gain, they become more attractive partners, flings or whatever they're out for. I'm one of them.

That's good. Compare it to situations you have already been in. Compare it to knowledge you already read / have. Imagine real life situations where you actually use what you learned. Imagine you and a girl, with you using exactly what you read as an example. In general, the more levels your "inner processing" of the material has, the more it will stick. This is a simplification of scientific psychological concepts, if it's in anyway necessary, I can look up the original studies.
/r/seduction29/01/19 11:23 PM

If you can say exactly that to an attractive girl in real life, you got it down.

Ahm yep, I can only agree. My gateway to this state (from the state you wrote about) was actually accepting the "paradoxical reality" like ozzy wrote in "the physical game". Lots of girls manage to juggle paradoxical realities all the time, so you can learn to be not needy while still basically wanting to close. That's not actually the state I ended up with, it was just the "gateway" that got me to where I am. If you want to know more about it, read the book.

Mindfulness meditation helps a lot. You can learn to flush stuff off your mind way quicker with it. It's what a lot of guys get to after a long way through painful experiences. If you want to know where those fears come from, in my opinion, evolutionary psychology has the best explanations for such. 1) When we were still living in tribes, the big alpha guy was claiming most of the females, and if you "cold approached" one of his females (or several), you might have gotten your head beaten in with a big rock and 2) If you approached one of the females or several, and fucked it up hard, they could gossip about you while basically collecting berries, and this could ruin…

Overthinking and overanalyzing is a common issue, pretty happy to see it happens to females, too. First, usually the information that is communicated is plain and simple what you initially understand, and usually not so much more. You can't derive much from just text. If you try, you end up in a maze that is as big as your mind makes it, and usually doesn't lead anywhere. Your rational mind will just play tricks on you, and people fall into that trap because something inside of them tells them t…

There are some apps that basically make you implement a token economy for yourself. You make a list of behaviors you want to exhibit, like approach a girl or whatnot, and each time you managed to do it, you click on it and acquire some points (tokens) in the app, and you also define rewards for yourself (5 points a huge latte macciato, 10 points ...) so that you train yourself into the behaviors you want with a reward system.

Okay first about all, working on your physicality is a great thing to do, men are mostly turned on by what they visually see of you. So all the stuff on your list is definitely gonna play out for you. Besides that, for the flirting part you basically don't need to reinvent the wheel. There's a few books you should have read, and you should probably follow the work of people like Arden Leigh (fPUA). Some links: https://www.amazon.com/Introducing-NLP-Psychological-Understanding-Neuro-Linguistic/…

Uhm I'm in Germany, and I must say that our reality is that we have a wild mixture. I've seen anything between terribly high standards with huge bitch shield searching for mister right and so easy to get that you almost have it sticking in before you get to know her name. Actually, the latter one is usually a bad choice, because those also tend to be the major distribution hubs of std's and all kinds of stuff you don't want to have, and there's a lot more downsides to it.

Going to raves alone will force you much more to talk ppl up and stuff like that. Can only recommend it. More often than not, having friends or a wing with me was basically what was holding me back, so just go and see where you get, you'll like it :)

First about all, going to a therapist to deal with the childhood stuff would be a good idea if you have decent healthcare in your country. Second, you have the anonymity of the internet here, and you tried it the honest route. In response, people were starting to point you directions. No one feels offended by honesty. The other side of the transaction is that you don't need to live through the pressure of keeping a web of lies intact, and that you didn't have to sneak around forever to get simpl…

Well I immediately see one step you should definitely take. It will make the addiction of the senses better, while still making you better in Pickup and also giving you more peace of mind. You should learn mindfulness meditation. It's not really hard, and you should be able to learn it from a book (seek one of the many titles). In terms of Internet addiction, I'd just say you should learn to channel it in a way that is really beneficial for you. In regards of Porn addiction, you should start t…

Ah well in my case, I read my first seduction book and introducing nlp, and somehow it just had that spark in it for me that I wanted to know all about it. Add some teutonic thoroughness, and along the way I consumed so much Pickup / Seduction / Body Language et cetera books and also read through any important work on several topics in Psychology that it pretty much corresponds to a major in psychology. I don't want to brag more than that, but it really depends of WHY you dive into this. Is it b…

Okay in regards of proven research, most of what we can say for sure comes from evolutionary psychology, and honestly, that is not terribly much "actionable" knowledge. If you want a comparison of Pickup advice and Psychology, you could read "Psychology of Seduction: Seduce Women Using Evolutionary and Social Psychology" by Jesse James, or go for "Evolutionary Psychology" by David M. Buss directly (which will take quite some time to read). Besides that, there's a bunch of smaller scientific book…

Ah yeah, I've encountered quite some guys for whom it is best to give them like 2 or max 3 books, let them learn to implement that, and they're totally fine and good to go... So you have some point there. Yet, some guys (that includes me) need to tackle a lot of stuff first. It took me terribly long after what happened in pickup in the past to get back into authenticity mode, and that is basically the point of models. So that speaks for the book, too. Yet, the whole idea gets tackled in the othe…

Just honestly, I'm 39m, and my experience is that once you are past like 35 or so, you take some more steps in regards of getting real mature and knowing how to handle females, also the younger girls get much more easy to get, you can just do a lot more with them... so basically, if that's a kink, then there's tons of kinky girls out there :)

There is no such thing as a "subconscious". What's that supposed to be, somewhere under the conscious like a submarine? It's called unconscious ffs. Also, if you want to really dive into this, read "Introducing NLP" and not this crappy post.

Basically, from where you are, consume tons of Pickup / Seduction Material until you find Stuff or Guru's that really are your piece of cake (that match your personality / personal preferences as closely as it can get), then consume all of that. After that, put it all into practise and find your own style (sorry, short routes are usually just marketing deception).

Whoa, that's pretty much modern Pickup in short. If I might fill in a missing link, a reason why girls shit-test, is that they are just playing the teasing game back because they know it works on them, so guys, don't misinterpret this.

You need to try out what works for you. Basically, night game is easier, and going out alone is usually a good idea. But hey, it's about what works for you, not about what works for me. In the beginning, get yourself some solid material, like dvd sets or books if you can't afford those, and follow them through (you need to try to apply this, or it won't work, and you won't know whats your piece of cake). Besides that, what /u/GAndGMethod said, don't learn game from freaking reddit or some trashy…

Honestly, I am pretty much against turning people into approach machines, because of such "results". I'm honestly out in the woods because I don't know much about those sorts of limitations. In general, I'd say you should maybe look for girls that are in an age where they don't like "stalk the wild boys" so much, but seek for something safe and commited, that would at least be the logical conclusion from the modes you describe that work best for you.
/r/seduction04/09/18 02:19 PM
2

After a LTR, you usually first play bame me - blame the girl - blame me and that yadda yadda, then you run around for a while being pretty women-incompatible (either "i can't do it anymore" or "fuck all those bitches"), and after that, you slowly start to open yourself again. you seem to be in the second phase, and I'm not sure anyone here can erase the relationship from your mind, so you should have some patience with yourself. Usually, this falls back in place if you take some time.

You're right on that part, although the metaphor has a point where it breaks (like any metaphor). But to stay inside the metaphor, that "just be yourself" thing is a bit like telling the white belt to "be like water". Given that you're actually doing jeet-kune do (heh), this is probably not helpful for him. Yet, on a higher level, it can be an extraordinary epiphany, that's why I don't like it when people brush it off. Besides that, if you start jeet-kune do, and your first goal would be under…

No offense, but there's some flaws in that. First about all, the advice "just be yourself" is sound advice, but if you crack down on it with the rational part of your brain, it's a piece of shit advice. To put it this way, if you can just stay who you naturally are while being confronted with a smoking hot woman, not putting on some mask or playing a role, or have your confidence shrink away, you can quickly see how that is actually smoking hot behavior from a female perspective. A good poin…

I wouldn't even label myself a sincere feminist, although I can understand why you think so. It's just that there's quite some utterings from females about what females want and search for, that are uncomfortable but accurate, and from my experiences, "fighting the laws of nature" so to say, is pretty much pointless.

Well you could say that there were three "waves" in Pickup. 1) Scripted Dialogues 2) Natural Game / Inner Game 3) "Be the best Version of yourself" It's an oversimplification, because there's still stuff like social circle game and whatnot, but its a good outline. If you got material from Phase 1, you got something outdated. besides that, what /u/OutsideRemote said, you need to find the stuff that fits your personality, and that means you got to dig a lot and try out a lot.

That given, on the other hand, the basic idea is that it's obviously pretty hard to go out of an approach without gathering some hints on what you did right and wrong, and it's basically that little bit of information you are supposed to work on.
