How about 3 skinny guys in wheel chairs trying the same thing?

I'm no expert, but I'm going to disagree. If you get enough numbers, eventually one is going to turn into a date.

What do you do when you're listening?

Coffee shops, mostly.

What do you think about opening with the question, "Do you have any constructive criticism of my set?"
/r/seduction04/10/11 04:35 AM

That works, I'll try that. Thanks.

talk anyway That is very disrespectful. I think it's difficult for someone who hasn't tried stand up to understand. If I'm on stage and two people are talking to each other during my set, it's a distraction to me and my audience. If it's too disruptive, I'm going to call them out on it and tell them to cut it out. If they don't, or heckle me in response, I'm going to try to get the audience on my side to shun and humiliate the two people. If this isn't making sense, maybe Louis CK can explain it…

How do you meet girls when it's rude to talk to anyone?
/r/seduction03/10/11 07:05 PM

In code you can deprecate apis and say, "use this one instead". Is there a way we can do that with the word "neg"? We have to figure out a better word for it.

When I try doing this, 90% of the girls don't even notice my existence. I'm not saying this as a "forever alone" kind of thing. They just are thinking about other things or looking in another direction or don't notice me for whatever reason. Your message implies that 95/100 will give you the opportunity to make eye contact. My experience is the opposite. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just a fact everyone leaves out?

That's a shock to me. The porn suggests otherwise. I thought the average japanese girl was kinky.

That depends. If you want to meet her again on another day, I usually stop with them wanting more and talk to them a lot longer. That helps prevent buyer's remorse.

I wonder if you could use the same trick on okcupid somehow. Perhaps give yourself awards from really beautiful females that say, "the perfect date".

I asked a guy and a girl if they would have sex with their own clone.

Learn about STDs that condoms don't protect against?

Do you have sex with multiple women while you're doing this? I don't know about you, but I really worry about STDs and I would want to know if the woman I'm dating is having sex with other guys.

That's cool. But how do you hang out at a bookstore all day without looking like a creep trying to pick up chicks? I've done it before but I don't go too often because I don't want the staff recognizing me as, "that guy".

I only know what fluff means related to porn. But, it sounds like it means small talk. Is this a pick up term?

Don't listen to these people. Guys and girls go to the mall when they need new clothes, want to watch a movie, need to buy a book, want to eat, etc. There's even bars at most malls I've been to. In other words, almost every demographic goes to the mall. I see no difference between a mall and a crowded sidewalk. All types will be walking through it and it's a perfectly fine place to day game.

I know you're right and I'm doing it wrong. I was at a bar talking to a girl and she would not stop playing with her hair. It made it so easy to continue talking to her and kino because I knew she was into me. Now every time I talk to a girl, I look to see if they're playing with their hair as a sign to "keep doing what you're doing". I don't like it.

It makes it a little easier since you don't have to figure out their interests to relate. If you run out of things to say, always fall back to a reddit related question you keep in the back of your mind.

I hit rock bottom with okc. I realized I put in so much energy to settle with a girl who I consider a 5. I started following seddit advice, starting with talking to everyone (the foundation of everything IMHO, but what do I know?). I've been doing great, IMO. On one hand, I've changed my life to become Yes-Man. I had my whole week planned before it started. A volunteering on Monday, going to a bar on Tuesday, etc. Thursday and Friday I have dates with two different people. I'm terrified they'll …

This is EXACTLY what I thought the first time I went to a bar solo. After about 8 times you don't really notice anymore. I actually forgot that I even had that impression until your post reminded me of it. I've only been practicing pick up for 4 months. Also it doesn't hurt that I made some friends that aren't even as close to attractive jocks physically and still K/#/F close at least one girl each night we go out.
/r/seduction16/06/11 06:27 AM

That could work :) I guess we're both agreed that I should have attempted to stick around. Since working on this, I've always had a problem ejecting early. I'm so self conscious about "am I bothering these people?" that I'm constantly looking for queues to eject. Good news is I've been ejecting a little later the longer I work on PU. 30 days ago I'd leave almost immediately after my opener. Now I got up to 3 minutes with two HBs.

Do you feel it has the opposite effect when you go direct during day game? It takes so much balls to it pull off then.

I meant they can get the vaccine, not you. Why is this post being downvoted?
/r/seduction14/06/11 11:37 PM

Isn't there a vaccine for that now? Also, can't you give someone HPV through any form of physical contact?

What's the Elbo Room? Is that a club, a bar, a restaurant, a coffee shop? Because if it's one of the first two, I thought you're supposed to use indirect game. I always liked (the idea of) direct game better though. Maybe I'll try that myself tonight in a bar I plan on going to.

How can you be sure this is good advice? I'd rather trust someone's advice that's in the same boat as me (ie: straight male).

Well, you don't have be specific, I just need a general strategy. How do you avoid offending the non-target? That's the part I don't understand.

I figure every girl I try to open that rejects me is like her. I just didn't observe long enough to notice. You'd have to be crazy to reject me ;)

What would you have done if you didn't have a wingman? I ask because I often go solo and don't know what to say to sets of multiple people.

Man, 20 months for 10 lays? Seems kind of low to me. How often do you go out and "practice"? Edit: Wasn't trying to be negative. I should have left it at, "How often do you go out and "practice"?

I think once I get comfortable using direct openers, it'll be more like that. With those 20 seconds I was trying to figure out if she was with a boyfriend. What do you do when you hit on a girl on accident and her bf is in visible or audio range? That scenario terrifies me.
/r/seduction12/06/11 03:56 AM

Where do you usually do it? I used to go around in my bookstore/grocery store/target, but i'm worried of being known by the workers as that dude who just comes in to talk to strangers so I always buy something when I go in. If I start using direct openers on girls there, I'm worried I'll be thrown out once the employees notice that I keep hitting on the patrons. I have a couple of busy malls in my area but the annoying thing is they only seem to be busy on weekends and fridays. I would practice …

And yet, I want to make sure I understand it completely. I assume in the "like a boss" frame it means he texted back to get details and in the second to last one she doesn't reply? The last one is the main point of the comic. He doesn't give a fuck if she doesn't reply?

So, there are 3 videos here that you can see at the top. This is a link to the first one. I have a feeling this is old but if it's not I hope it helps someone. It helped me. Here are some observations I have that I'd like comments on: How legit are these two guys? Should I take their advice with a grain of salt or do they know their shit? They run right up to the girl from behind and say hello face-to-face. That seems to go against what I've heard from other threads here. I'd suspect it to give …

Do you usually remember their name when you reopen? I think I'd forget if I opened 3+.
/r/seduction09/06/11 11:36 PM

Always exchange names and do a handshake if able. I've heard other mPUAs disagree with this. They say you should wait until they ask for your name and you can take it as a big IOI. Also, if you pre-open a ton of people you'd need to have an amazing memory to say, "Hi <name>" to them later. What's your justification for this step?

Here's how it came up for me. I met her at food trucks. Saw massive attraction, didn't number close because I was a pussy that week. Next time I saw her she remembered me after I said hello. All signs of attraction lost but got her number (I should have striked when the iron was hot). Asked her out on a date via text and she said, "maybe". I precanceled her because I knew she would flake on me. Told her I'm busy. She was fine with that of course. I figured I'd ask her if she just wants to meet a…

I'd rather date someone who's not poor and not a charity case. I plan to pay for the first date, but I don't want to set up the expectation.

Seriously. But on the other hand, girls love a sense of humor. It's a fine line when you play it online. Fortunately, I've been improving my IRL game so I barely give a shit about this. She was an HB8, but I see HB8s at the bar every time I go. 3 months ago I would have been kicking myself about this.

Someone break this down for me so I can learn from it. I figure this was a shit test and I failed massively: her: you take all your girls there im sure sweeetie What are some ways to pass it?

Whenever I get a number, I always say thanks and split before checking if it's legit. I figure if she gives me a fake one and I find out right in front of her, it'll be a world of awkward for us both. Of course this attitude assumes she's not attracted to me so I think it's the wrong thing to do. Can someone rationalize sticking around to test it?

It wasn't a music festival and it wasn't too loud to talk. It was a food festival. I'll edit the description, thanks.
