I tried and failed spectacularly. Then I gained 12 lbs. of muscle, and all of a sudden everyone loved the way I dressed. Hmm, wonder why.

Do you think that every girl is capable of a vaginal orgasm with every partner? Reason I ask is that I remember one of my exes telling me she had never had multiple vaginal orgasms until she met me, and my current LTR can't orgasm unless she's playing with her clit. Everyone says not to worry about it, and frankly our sex life is amazing, but there's something in the back of my mind that has me thinking about your first bullet point, considering she said she's had vaginal orgasms with other guys…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/19 04:30 AM

But are there surefire ways to give every girl vaginal and ejaculative orgasms? I thought that was based on their individual anatomy.

Fucking asshole. Hate people that go recklessly fast down trails that will obviously have more people on them than a double black or something. That's why I still wear my race helmet even though I only ski for fun now.

Yeah. I basically I have everything I want in life, but the landscape of society is so bleak that I get no joy out of it, as I spend most of my time trying to think of how to stay ahead of the decay.

That's why Kellen Winslow, Jr. was all of a sudden wearing them and a suit in court when on trial for raping elderly women. His lawyer basically admitted it.

I had to gain 12 lbs. of muscle so I didn't look like a concentration camp survivor with my clothes on. All of a sudden, my eclectic sense of dress (colored skinny jeans) went from being gay to saying "they're so I can find them at the foot of your bed in the morning" and having it work. I didn't have to perfect every aspect of the conversation, as girls would be far more responsive and engaging. I went from getting a hug and pecks on the cheek with a text later saying "I had a good time, but I …

What the fuck? As an Indian guy, most Indian guys I knew were going after Indian girls or were so focused on their studies so that their parents wouldn't disown them that they didn't date and just waited for mommy and daddy to get them an Indian wife after they became a doctor. But I never see this obsession with white women that people keep talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/19 07:07 PM

Bahaha, what? All our parents' generation as males needed was to not be a serial killer and have a good job, and you'd find a wife. Now you need looks, money, and status just to have a fucking chance.

No. Women have always had these expectations of men. Now that religious and social constructs around sex and relationships have been changed, they can freely try to find someone that meets their needs.

Wasn't their fault I was short, skinny, and average facially. The only people I fault were the adults in my life growing up telling me I just needed to get a good job and show stability and I'd find a good wife. They fucking know better, but I guess you can't just tell a kid he's inferior genetically. I regret not having those lusty encounters when I was younger, because at least then I wouldn't have worried about whether I was being used for money, stability, and settling down. While the relati…

You are not expected to shave your body hair and no one really cares if you wear the same outfit all the time. Uh, yes you are. I've been mocked endlessly for having body hair that I have to have waxed routinely and as someone that grew up not financially well-off, you'll absolutely get blasted for being a scrub for wearing the some outfit all the time. You are not judged or shamed for being promiscuous. No, but you are judged for being a virgin/little experience. And being promiscuous for being…

That's the way I feel about it at this point. As long as I'm getting my needs met in and out of the bedroom, if she were to have a tryst outside of the relationship, I don't really think it would bother me.

There's a reason why our women's national team for soccer lost to a u-17 boys team. There's a reason why Dustin Johnson can bomb one 380 on demand and no woman on this planet can match that. This girl would legit die on the field.

That's not the point. Your example is a girl setting healthy boundaries based on her comfort level. The RP fear is that she did anal, facefucking, etc with prior guys willingly but tells you she's no longer like that.

Yeah, if it was something like the kid's parents were loaded or he had a nice car. But never just some random, average guy. High school is an outlier anyways before some girls truly discover their massive advantage in the dating game. /r/PurplePillDebate16/05/18 12:25 AM

The question is, do they because of social constraints (stigma on polyamory and sharing Chad, slut shaming, etc.) or because legitimately they find these male outliers sexually attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/18 06:58 PM
1

Only reason you dont see divorces at the rate in the occident is due to the stigma that comes with it. And yes, I hate when people say that arranged marriages have a higher rate of success. No, it's just the dissolving of a regular marriage doesn't come with threats of being disavowed by family, stoning, honor killings, or whatever other crazy shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/18 05:45 PM

Honestly, it's sickening how that gets thrown around like it's a cureall. My fellow brown friends in undergrad hardly had any social life at all, became doctors, and then got arranged marriages and people call that winning? I mean the girls are attractive, but I'm somehow doubting that they're having great sex lives. Maybe they are, or are cool with sexless marriages given they got that far in life without getting any in the first place, or something. But it's a slap in the face to incels. They …

White guys will always have a status advantage that Indian and Asian women will seek to exploit, even if their looks aren't on par. Indians have nothing except their salaries (after mommy and daddy forced them to become a doctor or engineer). I've been told several times "thank god you're not like Raj from The Big Bang Theory" on dates. Everyone thinks we're bumbling social autists. And that's not even getting into the fact that physically we are far more diminutive. And it's not just complainin…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/18 04:23 PM

Absolutely not. But there needs to be honesty and transparency about it. Girls can sleep with all the white Chads they want. The Indian and Asian guys should be aware that they're not actually winning the game when their girl settles for him at age 30. I've never had a problem with the way the game works. I've always have a problem with the way society lies about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/18 04:15 PM

Well, women don't rise above their nature to date short guys, ethnic guys, facially weak guys, etc. So which is it? A nature free-for-all, or we rise above it?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/18 04:09 PM

That's a social construct because males and continuing the family lineage and honor are far more important in those cultures.

For either procreating or moving you to a place where you were not culturally well-received. Neither were meant with malice, but, like it or not that's what it boils down to. My parents raised me in upstate NY and I went to an all-white high school as a Guyanese kid. Four of my five best friends are all 6'2" and white. The differences in the way we're treated in public and our dating lives (up until my late 20s where I somehow luckily put on weight, which made me attractive, and then I found my …

And surprise, surprise...OkCupid showed that Asian and Indian males were considered the least attractive. Outside of myself (as a first generation Guyanese-American), I seriously know no other brown guys that have succeeded in modern American dating. All of my brown friends were put in arranged marriages right after they became doctors, grew up in South Indian enclaves of NYC or Toronto and married girls of similar culture, or are incel. Hahahahaha, then explain the OkCupid statistics that show Indian and Asian males are considered the least attractive, and whites are considered the most, by far, to every race (except maybe black women, because if I remember correctly, they still found black men to be the most attractive).

/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/17 03:25 PM

Honestly, I've only had one casual sex encounter that was really great. Everything else was just meh. As you get to be more comfortable with your partner, you can try new things and you become more in tune with each other. Plus there's more passion and emotion involved. The only thing I really like about it is that it tells me I'm physically desirable enough for just sex, instead of some girl demanding a fully paid for dinner, endless entertainment, being 6th on the depth chart of her dating app…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/17 10:52 AM

I actually went on a date with a girl that was as close to aware of this without admitting it. She was explaining that she should be okay with her guy crying and in theory it doesn't bother her, but when it does happen she ends up being turned off by it.

Hormones, yes. GMOs that make the fruit yield more plentiful and similar changes, I'm okay with.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/17 08:50 PM

And women find a much smaller subset of men attractive than the other way around. Therefore it skews towards women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/17 08:48 PM
3

So you're saying that men and women have similar ease of access in the dating/sexual marketplace? Because that isn't even close to being true.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/17 08:32 PM
3

Here's the problem. As a shorter guy, even if I wow the socks off of some girl, I'm very replaceable. As soon as her friends say "ewww, dj10show is a bit short", all she has to do is fire up Tinder/Bumble and take her shot on finding a taller, better version of me. Relationships are becoming more and more disposable, and unless you're on top of the food chain, you're on very shaky ground these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/17 08:25 PM

even more average looking men have success I think this is becoming less and less true. And "game" doesn't do fuck all unless she finds you attractive. Its presence is not additive to your SMV as much as its absence is an extract.

As a west Indian guy that grew up in a white community, this is what I've noticed. Obviously most of us have features that make us pretty undesirable. Lack of height, small frames, skin tone. And then we could write an essay on cultural effects. I have seen one single Indian guy get married in a western dating sphere, and that was my most recent ex's brother-in-law. Every other Indian guy I know that is married has done so through the traditional Indian dating sphere. The women within a traditio…

The thing that people don't get is that they assume you're going to do whatever you want and she just has to deal with it. My last girlfriend had Celiac's, but also told me she likes when the guy is "leading" the relationship. As a captain, I don't fucking take her to Olive Garden, knowing full well she has Celiac's. It's alpha looks and some beta comfort traits sprinkled on top of a alpha personality. Beta looks doesn't even get your foot in the door. Pure alpha is too volatile. Alpha looks and a purely beta personality probably get you a relationship but it would be of lower quality than having the mindset to go with it.

Why is it wrong to want to live a life of balance that includes intimacy and sex? There's more to life then just writing genius computer code that makes your BOD millions of dollars.

I mean it won't make 400 lb. Leticia Landwhale wife material, but I'd take a plain Jane 10 times out of 10 that ran good "girl game" over Stacy. I agree with your last statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/17 04:11 PM

Yeah, whenever I overhear girls talking about their new squeeze, height is one of the first things mentioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/17 03:47 PM

There's no "attractive for a relationship". There's "attractive to sleep with" and then "personable enough to be in a relationship". The latter is additive to the former. Not a substitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/17 03:09 PM
1

It might as well be. It sucks because outside of the way girls feel about it, there's not a real disadvantage to it. I'm only 5'8" and just as athletic as my 6'2" friends, except for basketball. I won the one fight I got into in college via KO. But yet they still bring out the tropes of short guys being weaker, not being able to protect your S/O, having a small dick, etc. Women don't suffer from it at all. Short women are adored by all. Tall women complain that they have trouble dating, but that…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/17 03:06 PM

I noticed that if they were super short, to where you were a giant compared to them, it didn't matter. Or if they were near my height, they didn't care and were comfortable with it as long as you weren't a bitch. The ones that had a problem were in that middling range.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/17 03:04 PM

If they were to run some girl game, you'd be surprised at how you can mitigate looks to get a relationship

The men that aren't getting laid now aren't because they're afraid of the "system", it's that they're flat out not good enough to be found attractive. What is artifice about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/17 07:03 PM
2

Why are people still asking questions of how to get to a more traditional state? Money, religion, politics. All artificial constructs. As you eliminate them, you get closer to humans acting on their biological imperative. And once that happens, you're never going to get that genie back in the bottle.

Everyone says this. But until you're actually faced with the situation, you don't know. It's like when every girl says "I'd never use sex as a weapon or a manipulation tactic. Why would I punish myself by withholding sex from you?". But sure enough, it happens.

As someone of West Indian heritage, all I can say is I've only seen one brown guy successfully married that didn't do it through traditional Indian means, and in more of a western style of dating. Whether it's because we're all weak and scrawny, or we're somehow all socially maladapted, those are awful numbers.

My dad's an alpha badass at work, but got ran over by my BPD mom. Only reason I think they're still together is because my dad's retirement fund would get annihilated. At least the new grandkid causes them to at least be civil to one another these days. Red. My mom's the perfect example of why.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/17 10:22 PM

It was obvious to me as well, but if you're bottom of the barrel in looks yet somehow still kind of popular, people start asking why you're single/can't find a date to prom/etc. You tell them the truth that you're too ugly, and they come back with tropes of girls are the ones that appreciate personality, have more confidence, blah blah blah. And when you're a young teenager, you tend to listen to adults because age somehow supposedly equals wisdom or some shit.

Having played soccer and being in an engineering lab in grad school, I couldn't agree with you more, having seen both sides of the coin Some of those lab mates were fun as fuck to be around and party with, too.

I'm pretty sure it's the latter. I hate when people say it's a confidence thing, like girls have some sort of super saiyan radar that can determine your confidence from you not saying anything. I gained 12 lbs. of muscle 2 years ago, and the increase in attention and difference in treatment was disgustingly awesome. I say disgustingly, because it wasn't confidence as I was less secure than ever knowing that it was the muscles, not anything about me as an individual that was getting girls to jump…

Not as proportionally as men do. Women that stray from conventional attractiveness have it exponentially easier than guys that do.

Nope. The top guys would just get even more thin, attractive women. Being in shape isn't good enough for some men to succeed. I think it's more of your genetic markers and pheromones that matter. Hence why some fat guys can still pull and some thin guys are still shit out of luck.

OncleJulian. Yes, he was obsessed with Chad. But he lived near Hollywood, and having experienced some of that LA life myself, I empathized with where he was coming from. One of the biggest hoodwinks was Al Gore and the "carbon credit" industry. You can't just buy your way to carbon neutral. His home uses 20 times as much as a typical family home, yet carbon credit trading allows him to claim he's carbon neutral? Get the fuck out of here.

Except trail22 has admitted that his race and height are indeed things that make him less desirable. It becomes a clusterfuck when people try to lie and say that those traits don't matter and he just needs to work on his personality or they attack his character because he can't possibly be getting rejected based on physical traits alone.

That's weird. How long had you been dating? We dated for 3 months, but it was one of those things she mentioned to me at the beginning. Like "It's weird when my guy says 'I miss you'" So I just never said it. I guess if you think so. Best of luck! I don't claim that it's a surefire strategy. Hell, we still broke up. Thanks though! I hope we all find what we're looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/17 09:49 PM

That becomes a cost-benefit analysis of whether the sacrifice in comfort is worth it because of the value she brings to you. I had a great girl last year that brightened every aspect of my life. But she would cringe over stuff like saying "I miss you". It was worth it to keep that to myself because she made all aspects of my life better.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/17 09:38 PM
1

Of your sample size of like 10? Fair point. Understand for us average/below-average guys, we don't have half of the city to pick and choose from though. It's not no cost. The cost is second guessing every word you say, every action you take around her just so you won't lose her. This is also a fair point, and something that I struggled with in my last relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/17 09:22 PM

And if every girl responds similarly? What if not expressing every feeling you had to her didn't bother you and caused her to be closer to you? You're benefiting both her and yourself at no cost.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/17 09:13 PM

In terms of risk-taking, I'll put it this way. The first girl I ever wanted to dance with at a frat party, I was so scared of saying something stupid or cringeworthy. Well one of the points of being in a committed relationship is to only have sex with your significant other. If your significant other no longer wants to have sex with you (which is his/her prerogative), then the terms of the relationship have changed.

I think the point is that TRP focuses on the alpha traits that are attractive to women. Jimmy McEngineerson may be a super genius that develops a reliable aerospace technology that allows us to go to Mars, but that in and of itself won't be attractive to women (the money and status will be though).

They say you're a function of the 5 closest people in your life. 4 of those 5 people in my life are Chads. It doesn't take a rocket scientist (although I was one) to see the difference in the way girls perceive them versus me. Being threatened to the point of being emotionally and socially crippled? This is the one thing I could never resolve though. If she's attracted to you from the get go, she's going to want to fuck you and take any hint that you don't want to right away as you not finding her attractive. Honestly, my best companions as women came from those that I had sex with early (like 1-3 dates in). It was clear we both found each other attractive before gifts/vacations/anything else came into play. The worst was where I had to "earn" it, because then the hoops became smaller and m…

There is little else that made me feel worse than when I realized my first girlfriend only became really sexually receptive when we went out to fancy dinners/vacations/etc. I was like, how isn't this like being with a prostitute? The key is that they have to find you hot first. If you have the personality to go with it, then they're crazy about you. And then you get the best of both worlds, the hot, passionate fuck sessions and the slow, sensuous lovemaking. But you never get it the other way ar…

I would have never believed it until somehow gaining 12 lbs. of muscle made all the difference. Look at it from their perspective though. Your friend is a huge outlier. Not to mention, I've actually heard good-looking girls say they date down because the guy is easier to control and she won't have to worry about him cheating because he has little to no other options. Wouldn't you be skeptical of this? It would be like if someone just pulled up and dropped off a Ferrari at the driveway of your middle-class home.

Wasn't scarcity mentality artificially induced with religion and society promoting monogamy and virginity up until marriage? As I left for college, I noticed a lot of my friends' parents that I thought were in happy marriages immediately got divorced as soon as their kids left the nest. From what I've seen, it's when they get dumped, cheated on, or used by a high-level guy. Then they start questioning everything about themselves, because they know they're pretty, and yet their man didn't stay committed (independent of whose fault it is). But they don't care about whether their qualities are good enough for someone that doesn't match up to that guy that hurt them, they want to be able to get that guy or better next time.

Women would then have to enter in to relationships in which they were not really attracted to the guy if they desired companionship and intimacy, which more than likely will result in a dead bedroom scenario down the road, or be content with being single until one of the guys that fits their criterion becomes available, which as someone that just got into his 30s, I'm seeing a lot of that "just looking for a good guy" but their laundry list of traits is off the charts girls out there.

Not even from my own parents As someone with also a lack of praise from a parental figure, some advice I can offer is that firstly, love for yourself has to come from within. No, it won't guarantee that others will love you as a result, but it will provide a solid foundation for yourself so that you can love and be loved healthily. Without it, dysfunction and chaos will always follow. May you find peace with yourself and what you want out of life.

What I don't understand is that the person that gives him or herself freely and yet gets nothing in return and is taken advantage of is mocked for being naive about the way human nature really is. So if you're legitimately altruistic, you shouldn't care about whether you were taken advantage of, because that wasn't the reason behind your deeds. But very few people would be nonplussed by constantly being used.

I wrote a graduate paper on this concept when OKC and POF were just websites and pre-phone app, circa 2011. What if she doesn't blame anything on them, but just doesn't have a relationship with them because it was unhealthy?

Honestly. I had it all figured out as a kid. I wish I didn't listen to all of the liars that said that the reasons my tall, white, shredded friends did exponentially better with women were solely due to confidence, and that you should be all lovey-dovey with the women you want to be with. Once I found TRP, there was no outward anger phase, just anger at myself for not believing what I knew in middle school.

I mean, I'm at peace with it. But moms are supposed to be all-doting and loving to their kids right? I feel like admitting that straight up to a potential significant other is saying "hey, my mom doesn't love my, why should you?" Anyway, I was shocked at her openness as she told me this on our first date, but while TRP would say bail, I'm glad I didn't as it gave me my best relationship ever to date.

As I got into my thirties, I'm noticing a lot of single girls that have admitted to having some sort of anxiety problems. Sure they may manage to stay in some shorter-term relationships, but they never last. Those types of mental disorders are on the rise, and notice how many girls are "winos". Code for drinking their problems away.

I think the kicker is that she includes the caveat that you cheat on her and fall in love with Hooters McSecretary, even though you personally would never cheat on a wife of such high quality.

I don't have a relationship with my mom and I don't really bring it up, because I know it makes me look awful to admit that. But when my last girlfriend told me that I would never have to meet her parents because she has no relationship with her, it struck me as super odd. But how can you hold something against her that you would have to hold against yourself? Especially something that may not even be his/her fault. I think that's something you have to take on a case-by-case basis. You hate your…

My mid-20s was full of that. Life of the party among guys and even girls when it was platonic. But complete autist mode when it came time to escalate. I guess 5'8" isn't short, but I'm definitely the runt of my close friends, and I've started to do pretty well for myself. I wish I could take this knowledge back to undergrad, because now that I know what the signs of attraction are and how to escalate, I realize I missed out on an awful lot haha.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/17 08:15 PM

The only, and I mean only thing I can think of, is if his description of himself is fairly accurate is that outside of height (which yes at 5'3" is a huge setback), is that he's not sexualizing his intentions enough. Whether that's because he doesn't know how to do it or because women are demonstrating that they would not be open to his advances, I cannot answer.

What if that level of attention she is craving is unrealistic?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/17 06:19 PM
2

This is interesting. So you have, let's assume, an attractive girl who is very much into you and wants to spend all her time with you, wants to talk to you all the time, is overly affectionate The one concern I have is that she may just be that needy for attention, not me as an individual, and I am just the vessel providing that for her. What happens if she gets bored one time and some other guy gives her that attention?

Maybe toxoplasmosis?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/17 05:47 PM
5

True, my ex had anxiety issues from being cheated on and they were exacerbated with a thyroid problem. So her neediness came from a place of trying to extinguish those anxiety-ladled thoughts. She never took it out on me, but we broke up, because in her words, "I could blame my exes for making me feel this way, but with you, I know I have a problem that I need to address because you've done everything right." Maybe she was lying, or wasn't attracted to me, who knows. But the relationship dynamic…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/17 05:47 PM
5

Because their neediness isn't something that you can just fill up like a water bottle. It keeps increasing and you keep giving until you have nothing left. I suppose your statement about not entering the woman's frame mitigates that to some degree. The other issue is that they may know it's unhealthy to be that needy and start resenting it. Although maybe that's her determining you are unworthy of her affection. Admittedly, my last relationship was like you describe but I am not of very high SMV…

I'm guessing he means that as society became more civilized, the traits you need to be successful have changed. However, biology does not account for this. So he is angry that you can be an intelligent inventor and still be deemed genetically inferior and unworthy of reproduction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/17 05:25 PM
2

I've actually thought about this. There's obviously genotype and phenotype. What if the outliers such as attractive, short men that somehow slay/skinny band druggies/club DJs/etc. actually do have "superior" genotypes but due to the environment (poor nutrition growing up, drugs in adolescence, etc.) they are in, do not look phenotypically "superior"? Girls would then be attracted to their "superior" genetics despite it making no sense on the surface.

Even the field reports (which for the most part I doubt) I thought most of it was hogwash, until I gained 12 lbs. of muscle and some of the stories I have now are equally outrageous. And I'm still not even that attractive. So I can only imagine what a true good-looking guy's reality is like, and given the stories of my Chadillac friends from playing sports, I actually can believe some of the more outlandish tales.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/17 02:38 PM

Does it? Because I chose to add 12 lbs. of muscle solely for women when I already was pretty ripped, and all that happened was that they wanted to fuck me, even though I was even more insecure knowing that it was just looks that got me all the new attention.

If she wants a relationship and for the guy to actually be nuts about her, she needs to play SOMEWHAT hard to get in the early stages. This is only one anecdote, but I provide a counterpoint. I wouldn't say you're a gold digger. In fact that's what I'm hoping for in a wife, as I do not want daycare/after-school programs to be responsible for raising my children. I'd say men would be more reluctant to enter such an arrangement because they are taking all of the financial risk in the case of a divorce. But you would be sacrificing your self-sufficiency to be financially dependent on your spouse. So it's not like you're not risking anything either.

I'm 5'8" but most of my best friends are 6'+. I'll check that out after work. I did it at a friend's wedding where I was supposed to be attending with my girlfriend, but we broke up the month before and I was still sad about it. The hilarious thing about it is that I had girls hanging on me, until I couldn't stop sniffling like an extra in a Kleenex commercial and it gave me away. I've been shocked at some of the girls I've gone out with that have said they didn't get any at home because their S/O was addicted to porn. And these girls were in good shape, hit the gym, would try to initiate sexy times, etc. I mean, it's possible that they were outright cunts at home, or something else, but still. I wouldn't go as far as saying she only has purposes for being a mom and wife. Her purpose is whatever she wants it to be. And if anything she's more aware of the gender dynamics than most females. 5'8", don't really have a preference, been with girls 4'11" up to 5'9". I've never been intimidated by height, because I was the shortest, skinniest guy on every high school sports team and you have to not let that shit bother you if you want to compete. That being said, there is something about a girl having to get on her tip toes to kiss you or her craning her neck to rest her chin on your shoulder. Or maybe she's the one who got away. I don't know how important it is, but it certainly does matter. The OkCupid study backed that up. It's not the history. I couldn't care less about who a girl has been with others before me. In modern times, realistically expecting a virgin/very low n-count woman past college isn't plausible. I believe that relationships in general will go the way of the dodo. Those that are of high value, as many have noticed, will pair off early. Girls are now free to chase Chad, and from what I've noticed, are content being single/or sharing him rather than finding a lower-value male for themselves. The top humans will reproduce and everyone else will be alone/short-term relationships/flings.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/17 05:40 PM

The only reason I'm alive is because sadly, monogamy existed for so long, and every man gained access to a woman. This has been my thought as well. Social constructs allowed men who would have never reproduced in a natural hierarchy to do so, and as marriage and monogamy are dying and online apps make Chad as easy to obtain as your groceries, we're quickly going to be correcting a market imbalance.

Looks are the universal key to all doors. Without them, you have to work a lot harder even if what you have on the inside is pre…

All it takes is confidence to attract somebody Are you serious? Your physical being has no role in attracting women?

The thing is the guys that are going to be using this technology are guys that are not getting any as is. It's not like Chad is going to replace his girls with some robot. The guys you want to fuck/be in a relationship with will not remove themselves from the marketplace, because they're still the same ones that are desired.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/17 02:17 PM

Fair enough, I did rush to conclusions. I did the same with putting on 15+ lbs. of muscle and learning how to sexualize my conversations with women. I guess when I hear anecdotes such as yours, I get frustrated that my ceiling is lower than I thought it was. But being better than you were yesterday is always a pursuit worth traveling.

I do, and honestly it started with a research paper I did in grad school that led me to finding TRP and this sub. I judge every interaction on who is the alpha and beta participant, wonder if that happy couple is really happy, seeing a guy with a chiseled jaw and thinking about what type of girls he's going back to. It completely changed my worldview from those of individuals with their own hopes and dreams to people just following biology, like a gigantic artificial intelligence environment.

we wish we had real male role models who would explain this to us, instead of rappers. This is a huge point. As a hip-hop kid from the time I got my first portable CD player in high school, you hear about the nature of women through 'Pac, Biggie, Jay-Z, etc. And you think, well they're gangbangers, maybe it's just the class of women that they're hanging around with. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Incorrect. My Chad friends had my back during the darkest time of my life when some of my own family did not. They had no tangible benefit to do so, as I was a broken down Pinto of a non-Chad that brought them no benefit with my presence. But they did so anyways. I actually had a huge talk about this with one of them, and he was simply aghast at the fact I thought our friendship was based on transactional cost and them keeping me around to feel superior.

Part of TRP's initial support for Trump was that they thought Trump going to legalize prostitution & start an immigration program bringing in women only, while deporting illegal men. That's the second time I've heard of this theory on this sub, and yet Googling "trump immigration policy women only" just talks about the women that have been deported under Trump.

Yes and no. It's been enlightening and depressing all at the same time. I wrote the paper back in 2011 before Tinder was a thing, and I postulated that an app that would make good looking men widely available and not restricted to geographical constraints would create a huge disconnect in the dating spectrum. I basically could have invented Tinder and became rich, but the research sent me into a bout of depression instead.

My parents are Guyanese and I was born in upstate NY as a Catholic, so I don't have a typical Indian upbringing. However, my parents did push academics over everything and made sure I always had more than I needed (car at 16, etc.) It paid off with a full ride to undergrad, but I was so athletically and socially stunted when I arrived on campus. That's very true. I grew up in an all white-suburban community, and my two favorite sports are soccer and golf which are not Indian favorites at all. So all of my friends ended up being white and I was a party boy in college, which a lot of Indian people don't participate in. I understand dating apps operate in a different environment from real life interaction, but my 6'3", very attractive friend tossed me his phone because he didn't know what to say to his Tinder matches. I agree that if we don't, society will decay. But how is that uprising going to happen? Women are still fighting for more and more privileges, and the elite men aren't going to give up their disproportionate amount of money, women, and power willingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/17 07:27 PM

But we're in a society that is going more and more away from monogamous norms.

Okay, and if we don't play their game, then we go from not having enough resources to compete to having none at all. Short of all of the average folk opting out, what recourse do they really have?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/17 06:12 PM

Because the men in power have everything they could ever want at their disposal. Women, money, power. They have no incentive to help out the common man. What they do is commoditize the rare chance to climb into their good ole boys club, and we fall for it hook, line, and sinker with becoming wage slaves, buying products we don't need or even can't afford, and competing amongst ourselves for their table scraps.

I've been the same way, and I have no idea how old you are, but I will say eventually placing all of your self worth on competing with your peers cracks the facade until it collapses. You have to find things that make you happy without requiring external validation from others . Not to say that competition and wanting to be the best is bad, but it can't be your sole motivation for everything.

I think it depends on where you are on the totem pole when you discover it. If you're a good-looking guy that discovers TRP and realizes he has to work on his social skills and does so, he won't have much to say in the negative. My personal experience is that I realized I'm much less attractive than I thought, and I'm having to deal with the thought that finding a sustainable LTR and having kids, which were things that I envisioned, are likely not on the cards for me. Yeah. In my situations, the girls have treated me like their world for a bit, but then they open up about their emotional problems, being cheated on, having anxiety, past boyfrends that were needy, assholes, etc. and it's either that they're expecting a wild roller coaster ride that they're not going to get from me, or they were never attracted to me in the first place. It just seems weird to give that much of yourself to someone you find not attractive.

Every time, in my opinion, that I've dated a girl "out of my league", she's had some form of low self-esteem, anxiety, or personality trait that causes the relationship to implode. As a guy with red pill leanings, I have no idea whether to think that those traits lead someone to date a guy less attractive then them so they don't get hurt, but then bail when they realize they're not attracted to you or if relationships with these people are neigh impossible regardless of who the guy is, but even …

How am I above average? I'm literally below average in weight/height, have the most undesirable race, and have a boy-ish looking face. I get shot down for being too skinny all the time. Thin (~135 lbs), but chiseled. Brown skin, brown eyes, bald. Only 5'8", weak jawline, tiny hands and feet. My one saving grace is dope facial hair.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 02:26 PM
2

Uh, a 7/10 is above average, so you are at least somewhat good looking. But if you can approach, be a good conversationalist, come off as natural and not creepy or desperate etc, there isn't much else to "learn" That's my thought too. Some people think that there's a magic retort you can use on her that will cause her to fall for you, but it's really just what you said.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 02:22 PM

The core of game is just going out, approaching, getting logistics, (seeing if the girl CAN even fuck or if she's the designated driver, leaving with her boyfriend to the airport to go to her mother's funeral in 15 minutes) staying the interaction as long as possible, trying to pull, etc. That is game? That's common fucking sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 01:57 PM

Generally, epic transition cases like yours are where the guy is good looking and either doesn't know it or just fails to know how to properly escalate. Once you get that down, it's fish in a barrel. Without the good looks, your escalating would have you in those creepy copypastas.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 01:45 PM

I've never once seen a guy charm a girl's pants off when the initial signs of attraction weren't all there (laughing at everything, constantly touching his arms, blushing, etc). What I have seen is when the girl is fully into the guy, he goes full autist mode and wrecks it. As a brown guy that has dated a few white chicks, it basically boils down to white guys thinking you're "stealing their women" and that because you are of an inferior race, she has no standards if she's sleeping with you. I actually found a different corollary when I was with these girls, in that I was treated with extra respect because I must have had something going for me to land the "prized white girl".

Actually, it's just a sign that your hair follicles have a higher sensitivity to DHT. Honestly, it helped me, because I have a boy-ish face, and going bald combined with a beard helped me "ruggedize" my face. I used to have Cristiano Ronaldo-type hair, and literally only one girl has said I looked better with hair than without. Although the rest could have been frauding, I suppose.

Seeing as how a fish can only really be a meal or a pet, and human/fish communication is fairly limited in scope, you really wouldn't have any idea as to what constitutes the internal thought processes of the fish. In a relationship, you can develop feelings based on the external applications of your significant other's behavior, but short of pulling some sort of The 6th Day nonsense, you don't actually experience the inner being of his or her person. All you develop are emotional/verbal/physica…

I went out-of-state to college with the same girl I took to senior prom, as we had happened to meet at an orientation and lived in adjacent school districts. I chased soley after her freshman year, while bitching that I wasn't having any success with girls while my friends were hooking up and dating. Looking back, guess who missed out on an awful lot of really obvious opportunities his freshman year?

I wouldn't consider those "nuclear". I've seen rejections where the girl literally runs to another guy to strike up conversation in order to explicitly show she's not interested.

The best were the assumptions that were made of me. I had only been with 3 girls up until the ripped phase. And then every girl I hooked up with/dated insinuated that I was a player/slept with tons of girls/wouldn't find them attractive enough to stay around.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/17 08:29 PM

Same. The biggest light bulb was when one of my girl friends explicitly told me "notice how you won't feel the pressure to say the perfect thing anymore, because you look so much better." It was outrageous.

Based on what I've read, isn't it always the man's fault, regardless of who cheats? Obviously if the man cheats himself, then it's his fault for not holding himself to the promise of monogamy that he made. But if the woman steps out, it's because he didn't satisfy her, was bad in bed, didn't have her coffee ready at 5:07 am, etc. If the man is leading the relationship, doesn't he also bear the fault for when it tanks?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/17 03:28 PM
1

Nope. Agree with everything you said.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/17 02:13 PM
2

I was being sarcastic, but from what I've seen, the people that are polygamous in nature are either ashamed or know that their partner will not approve of such an arrangement, so he or she keeps it hidden and cheats instead so that the relationship is preserved, but yet can still sleep around.

Agreed, but especially when it comes to evaluating looks (which I have very little of), everyone all of a sudden resorts to trope, pacifist bullshit. So all of a sudden you have yourself saying that looks matter a lot, and everyone else telling you it doesn't. And you want to believe them because they're successful in dating, but you realize that you're only missing one thing that they're not. TRP beat that into me.

For me, it was so obvious because I was basically at the bottom of the SMP totem pole growing up. So I would try to do all of these things that my much more good looking friends would do, and it would backfire in my face. Once I found TRP, the anger phase wasn't even at the world and the way it worked, it was at the people that straight up lied to my face about it. A lot of my angst growing up was knowing that I needed to work on myself to get on my peers' level, but also knowing that the advice…

Could you make the argument that Tinder provides an accurate representation as to the minimum physical standards to enter the SMP, and you still need to cultivate personality and other traits to go with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/17 02:47 AM
1

Firstly, I completely agree with what you said. It's not assuming that people with that similar characteristic will be attracted, it's playing the odds that the people without that characteristic will not. You're not going to tell a fat man/woman that they are going to land a fit partner. You either tell them to aim for someone with a similar body type or to lose the weight and get in shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/17 02:34 AM
1

What I meant by my phrasing is that a lot of in-shape shorter guys thought (myself included up through undergrad) would find a shorter in-shape girl. We didn't realize that height was going to disqualify us from the SMP altogether or relegate us to fatties. That right there is a huge wake up call that some struggle to deal with.

Agreed. But let's use that 5'3" Asian kid that supposedly has all of those physical accomplishments on his resume. I'm sure he thought his equivalent was just a similarly height disadvantaged woman. Turns out, it's nobody at all. It's that type of scenario that has a lot of guys offended, I think.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/17 09:55 PM

I understand that. But if that Chad decides to dip his dick into her, all of a sudden she's gonna hold out for him.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/17 09:47 PM

I guess the "offense" comes when guys don't get their "looks match". I know a lot of guys I talked to were thinking they can find someone of similar "/10" range. But when 2s can hook Chads, they're disappointed to find out they never stood a chance from the beginning.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/17 01:25 AM

The way I look at it is that sexual compatibility is the most important thing. Not to say personality and common interests don't matter for LTRs because they do. But if we got along great and did cool things together, but didn't see eye to eye on sex, we could be friends and still do all that fun stuff without the having to be unhappily monogamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/17 06:36 PM

I flip it. We split in the beginning stages of dating, and then if I want to treat her later on in the relationship, it's my prerogative to do so. And those moments are always well received.

Probably not porn star sex because porn stars aren't average Actually, I've found that as long as the girl does actually find you attractive, you do get that porn star sex. At 5'6 and relatively lean You've definitely got broader shoulders than me, lookin' good /nohomo Sounds like... This is my biggest fear. I realistically understand that I will never have 4-5 girls to choose from at any given time. You hit it right on the head in that I either have awful luck, or my personality is damaged to the point where I attract these types of people. I agree with your point about my friends having more looks, but the women I've attracted haven't been mundane. The girl I can…

I did start incorporating deadlifts into my weightlifting routine, which helped me get bigger, but I wasn't cycling tren or anything haha. What I've noticed is that in my college years, girls would only be on the pill if they were in a relationship, but it seems that more girls are on birth control now even in between relationships.

Has anyone considered how birth control affects this? I've read studies that show women on hormonal birth control tend to consider more "beta" looking faces to be attractive. It's something that piqued my curiosity because as I turned 30, I went from pretty much getting no interest to having a pretty decent sex life including relationships and ONS, but the one thing I noticed was that every girl but 1 was on birth control of some sort (IUD/pill). And before someone hollers BB, these girls never …

Pretty much, which is why I made the conscious decision to not ever have a stash of my own after this experience. If I'm at a party and a friend has some, I'll probably imbibe, but having a supply of my own would just take me down a bad road.

I did it for the first time ever while I was out and about the day before a friend's wedding out-of-state a few months ago. The feeling you get while you're on it is phenomenal. Everyone made it sound like you'd become the Incredible Hulk with the way they described the DGAF feeling, but to me it just felt like I had my own little ego bubble and everyone's mundane bullshit just bounced right off of it. Having my last two relationships end suddenly, even after the girl has made unrequited comments on my confidence, socializing abilities, activities that drive my life without needing her around 24/7, and bedroom skills makes me think that I'll never have the physical attributes necessary to make an LTR successful. Knowing what girls truly desire physically, I can't blame them for wanting the personality traits of me but in the 6'+ frames of my better-looking friends.

I don't know what to tell you... I can only go off of what my girl friends have told me, and that it's literally that I'm too skinny and give off that "makes me feel fat" vibe. Empirically you'd pair off well with another college graduate female. And those are the girls I've been dating. Although the first 2 were massive gold diggers. This sounds like hyperbole. They say you're a function of your 5 closest friends. When I was living in Arizona, those friends were 6'4", 6'3", 6'2"x2, and 5'8". Wh…

I'm not saying she has infinite options for successful relationships. I'm saying she has infinite options to try to replace you. If I eat a half of a grapefruit, which is good but not the best grapefruit I've ever had, am I more likely to continue eating the grapefruit to completion if I have a stockpile of 3 of them or 3000? This is a fair assumption. But having talked to the girls I've dated off of it, it's generally that work takes any socializing away M-F, we're mostly over the bar scene, and our friends are all married, some have kids. They seem like they live normal lives. But I'm 31 and have been dating girls from 26-32, so maybe that's an indicator that we've all been doing it wrong, if we're all single at this age.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/17 09:24 PM
1

That's a good question, and one that I ponder when we talk about the current struggles of dating. Every girl I've known that was single was on some sort of dating app. Even if I land a date with them through an in-person interaction, they always have an online dating horror story to share for laughs.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/17 09:11 PM
1

Well, I feel like you're a lot like me then, where our genetics place us right on the Mendoza line, so our behaviors and actions can be the make-or-break differentiator. A lot of cases on TRP, I sadly say, seem like the lost causes to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/17 08:46 PM
2

Here's the problem with you saying the internet doesn't equal the real world. It's completely changed dating dynamics, because if she's on the fence about you after the first date, she no longer has to give you the benefit of the doubt for a second date, because she has infinite options now. She's no longer restricted to whom she runs into during the course of her day. It absolutely does matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/17 08:14 PM
1

Can you learn to be that guy though? I feel like there's either something innate inside of you that makes you that guy or not. The "learning" of behaviors/traits/etc. are just what makes the rest of the relationship higher quality.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/17 07:18 PM
1

The one thing that always confused me is that they say it matters whether the act comes from a position of power or a position of supplication. How the hell would anyone be able to tell in a situation such as tipping, short of tapping directly into the person's brain?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/17 06:52 PM
2

Actually, I'll entertain what she's saying here. If she is willing to be as open sexually as she was with the other guys, I actually would agree wholeheartedly with protecting herself by waiting and feeling the guy's other attributes out. But she won't be. And that's where the feeling of getting secondhand goods comes from.

If you think TRP is going to help ugly 5'4" Indian nerds get anything they want I have a bridge to sell you This last part is what people jumping in don't fully understand. Because women couldn't work and had to depend on a husband to provide resources, combined with religion shaming premarital sex, this led to genetic combinations of offspring that would have never happened naturally. Your intelligence will cause you as an individual to survive and in modern society even thrive, but it does not necessarily guarantee success in reproduction. Having been both an honors student and an athlete, I can say the "stupid, weak, loser" good looking man really doesn't exist. The good looking ones are athletic and popular. And studies have shown that intelligence after a certain threshold actually has a negative correlation with sexual success.

Good looks give you more chances for reproduction and survival. They also open the door for you to do more with your intelligence, athleticism, benevolence, etc. So they could be good for humanity, depending on how individuals chose to harness them. I don't think it's a one or the other question.

The modern sexual marketplace is nature's way of correcting the fact that women have extremely outdated selection criteria due to marriage, monogamy, patriarchy. Will they opt out completely, or take the one chance they may ever get with a washed up Sorority Slut Suzie? That's the mill…

We're going to be going back to our primal roots where only the true genetic alpha males will get to reproduce/enjoy sex. Girls would rather be single than date/fuck someone on their level that isn't in the top 20%.

I have no idea. The only PUA stuff I subjected myself to was Neil Strauss' "The Game", and the only real lessons I got out of it were be valuable and be confident. The rest was a joke in my opinion. Even if they knew, it wouldn't be in their best interests to tell their clientele, lest they stop paying exorbitant amounts of money for those bootcamps.
/r/TheRedPill01/04/16 03:02 AM

And that's why those gurus make bank, because they convince those short guys they just need PUA techniques to get the same success. Really, game just makes sure you don't fuck up with girls that have already found you attractive.

Bingo. Everyone rooting for the return to Marriage 1.0 is hoping for an artificial supply of abundance. We're returning to our primal roots.

Dude, I think we need to start accepting that "game" and confidence just helps you not shoot yourself in the foot with girls that do find you attractive. It doesn't make you more attractive. Look at that 400 response thread on TRP when a girl flat out admitted 6'3" guys get her going just based on looks.

Why wouldn't she want to turn AF into AB? You get all the tingles from being alpha and access to his resources, rather than someone you're not even turned on by.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/16 04:31 PM
1

AB would be settling down for the purpose of having kids and a family with a well-vetted partner, while AF would be keeping high value women in your life but cutting them free if they demonstrate being non-congruent to your goals, correct? BF is way better than being BF, but I'm struggling to figure out what I need to make that jump into the AX categories. I was going to do an asktrp post on it, so I think I'll write one later this afternoon.

/u/abdada and Rossi mention a intersect called Beta Fucks, where you're not friendzoned but she's also not going to try to force commitment on you like she tries to turn her alpha into the unicorn Alpha Bucks. My 18-month TRP journey finally has increased my SMV in the last 3 months to where I've been scoring, but I noticed that the dynamic has closely resembled the Beta Fucks phenomenon. Realistically, is that the best us short brahs can hope for?

Given that women would still be hypergamous, women would then choose their partners based on the top 20% of looks alone. Charisma, charm, game wouldn't make a difference if everybody had it. What you are saying is 100% fundamentally correct. But here's the thing, I always thought being short was not ideal but not necessarily insurmountable if you had a lot of other things going for you. But in reality, you don't even get a chance to demonstrate what else you have going for you, and this is for a lot of girls. It's like when you think only some girls are sluts or are monkey branchers at first, until you realize that it is their inherent nature.

Actually it's even worse, IMO. She "took a break", banged Blizerian and then DeLuca got back together with her and found his phone number in her phone and texted it. Then the shitstorm unleashed. So that's what they mean by "we need some time apart".

I know when I was looking at having my doctor prescribe it, she said it was possible for ED to be a side-effect of it for some people but it was reversible if you stopped taking it. Right when I was about to pull the trigger, we found a Swedish study that said that it could potentially be irreversible, and I noped the fuck out of there. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/merck-warned-europe-that-propecia-causes-sexual-problems-but-not-the-us/

The purpose of the post wasn't to cry about height. It was to foster a discussion on how Tinder/OKC/POF has corresponded with a seemingly exponential rise in difficulty in breaking into the SMP if you have lower SMV. I used the paper to give myself some academic credence, although admittedly they are all Red Pill tenets, and cited my 6.5 years of college as to why I felt this way.

Honestly I get called cute a lot, and I grew out a dope beard, which both guys and girls can't stop picking at, but I get no matches in my home city. But I actually get a decent amount of matches when I'm on vacay. I'm an Android user, and I have heard of it being pretty buggy. Like I'll be given profiles from Philly but I'm not there at all. I deleted my profile, and the app and will revisit it soon. The one problem is that I have a lot of action photos that I'd love to use of hiking/soccer/gol…

Tinder hasn't been a great boon for me, as I think I may be facially busted, but you're right. The few times I have gotten matches, it's been hookup city the first night. I'm just saying plating, STRs, and LTRs may be impossible for me and my vertically challenged/not facially aesthetic brahs.

The argument to that will be to pull in person where you can run game and let your personality show through, provided it's on point. However, I'm thinking that because she knows she's got the whole city on her phone, because let's face it unless you're a whale, you're probably matching with every guy, she is now even more willing to dismiss you than even a few years ago when Tinder wasn't around. The dating realm has really been turned upside down in just the last 3 years even.

I understand that if you were to go beta, even with your physical traits, you would get torched eventually. But given similar personalities, you would completely serve me in terms of pulling. That's not because I am an inferior person, but at 5'8"/137/brown skin/bald/brown eyes, women will view me as such initially. Now, here's where my premise enters. Ok, story time. You suck in bed or have no game, you got needy or its just bad timing. One of these at least, maybe more. You were attractive enough physically to get her into bed once, her words mean nothing remember, look at her actions. Yeah, when I use "hook up" I mean we do everything but sex. So I'm clearly having issues navigating LMR and that's a big negative on my game. Tall guys would brazenly hit on my fiancee at the time because "she deserved a real man." The correct response is to give no fucks and judge her response. But even if she doesn't do anything that night, or the next night, or the night after, eventually she starts wondering why all the tall guys are going AMOG on you and thinks she can do better. I witnessed it first hand. So even if she's not accepting drinks, giving out her number, dancing with them, or just talking, it erodes her view of you. …

But yes, I haven't been very successful in navigating LMR. Beta bux is a personality type. This had me thinking. What if it's not 20%, but a certain blend of male attributes that just so happen to ascribe to 20% of the male populus at the moment? So girls are throwing themselves at the group of men which possess these traits which we consider the top 20%. Well if it keeps devolving, is it possible that top 20% becomes the top 12>10>8%, and the Chad Thundercocks become Chadius Maxus Thundercockus Rex. So instead of harems, they just literally get everything.
