There are 3 primary ingredients to gaining control over your life and control is what dominance really is. You should seek to have all three ingredients in abundance at the same time. Here they are in order of importance:

Health Time Wealth

You should play your life like a chess game where the goal is to eliminate the positions of people who control (dominate) you. Parents, landlords, government officials, bosses, bankers, tax collectors and women etc.

The goal is to be fit mentally and physically and know that you are the one who rules your life. If you can control yourself you can control others which is what an alpha is, a natural leader too powerful for people to stand up against and too intelligent for them to understand his moves.

We speak of women here way too much, they reality is that it has nothing to do with women it's all about you and building yourself up and then using your position to build up the people around you. There are a ton of cheap tricks you can learn to manipulate people to a certain extent but there will never be a trick that fixes your life without you putting in the effort.

Good luck!

I think it's different for everybody. It depends on which internal demons you have to slay. The way I see it, it all comes down to how much you want to change. I'd say you should focus on small steps. Don't expect anything big immediately. After a while you'll start seeing results, especially when you compare yourself to your earlier self. People will start noticing you're different to. The more progress you make, the more thirsty for change you become (at least that's how it is for me).

For me it was easy. I was already lifting, and I had years of management and negotiation experience, so I had the skill sets needed and a strong frame to fall back on. I pretty much just had to unlearn the blue pill conditioning and internalize the red pill truths; don't take what she says seriously, don't listen to what she says, be dominant, etc.

The hardest thing for me was to learn funny A&A responses.

If you ask yourself "how quickly can I become fit and an assertive negotiator" then that isn't far off on how long it will take you to become alpha. If you're fat and spineless, it will take a lot longer than if you're fit, confident and charming.

A&A responses?

I remember your name. what happened to "this'll be the hottest girl I'll get with" if you didn't fuck up the text. I bet you fucked up the text, but I hope I'm wrong.

Yee of little faith.... I just wrote back a couple hours later "from tinder". she apologized saying she had to go out of town for her cousin that passed that week (after we set the date). Whether it was bullshit or not, I quickly moved on, and isn't that what TRP is about?

[–]itsxeno 1 points1 points1 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Wise to next. That excuse was bullshit. If it were legit, she would have offered a reschedule.

[–]RedPillN00B0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

I nexted her the moment i got the text. I figured if she wants to hang she will contact me

Agree and amplify. It's laid out literally 10 minutes of reading into the main sub's sidebar.

It depends.

I had Alpha characteristics throughout my entire life however due to how I was raised (hyper traditional islamic family) a lot of those traits were curbed and I had to understand how to utilize them again. Once I went through monk mode (this was before I found TRP) the transition was relatively quickly. I think my mental state and perspective on life turned around in about 5 months. Now, 4 years later I've refined a lot of what I've learned. I always practice, I'm always improving, and I'm putting significantly less stress on myself. I have learned to truly enjoy where I am and what I do.

Adjust, analyze, adapt. It's a constant cycle of self improvement and I learn something new everyday. Even from guys here who claim to only have started RP for a handful of months. Biggest thing you need to learn is to check your ego.

It's as hard as you make it. You're reprogramming your thinking so it doesn't happen overnight.

[–]PemBayliss 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Better questions are:

1) How difficult is it to go from where I am to my "best"?

2) How did you transition from where you were to your "best"?

Some men aren't ever going to be "alpha" in the sense that they're slaying pussy left and right. Most men won't, in fact. What most men CAN do is maximize themselves and improve themselves so they can get the most of what they can from life, which for most of them is one woman who fucks them and decent jobs that pay them well.

The most a man can improve himself is between 1 and 3 SMV points, and that's with lifting, weight loss, fitness training, overall physical appearance improvement, skills attainment, working at peak capacity, and overall personal experience improvement.

A male 3 is never going to become a male 9. A male 3 is never going to go from incel to banging supermodels. That is not going to happen. But that male 3 can get to 5 or 6, get a good job, and get a woman or two who bang him.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

3 SMV is definitely not true in the slightest.

A 2/3 can make himself a 7/8.

There are guys who go from 300 pounds (of fat) at 6'3 to 200 pounds of muscle and that right there is 3/4 SMV.

Don't forget to add in fixing up your game, removing acne, getting an awesome haircut, and getting involved with various organizations outside your job. Those can total another 2/3

If you start off at the literal bottom you can climb all the way to the top.

[–]MarvelousWhale0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Mostly sound, but I would refute the amount of SMV a male can improve, what was the name of that fat disgusting hairy dude who is famous for bangin young broads in pornos?

He is the equivalent of a 3 but his wealth and attitude is able to compensate.

You'd be surprised what is attainable by a man with ambition and attitude.

[–]PemBayliss 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Ron Jeremy? Lulz.

You do realize, don't you, that they're actors?

[–]MarvelousWhale1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

All I know is that dick is in that pussy and if that's what some guys look for in an alpha, well... I'd call that slaying that cooch left and right anyday.

[–]SkepticalMusk2 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Might know a bit about that. I transition from alpha to beta every few times a week. I can be the most confident guy in the room (no kidding I'm loud when happy) to most awkward person in the world the next day.

I literally reprogram my thinking by giving myself fake confidence, I'd make up fake stories and have my friends think I'm some sort of bad ass then I thrive off the image. I can't ever be confident without feeling superior to someone first, whether I get them to believe I'm some sort of bad ass or if I physically intimidate someone. Then it wears out and everyone asks what the fuck happened to me.

Guess thats what happens when someone naturally alpha lives in beta conditions for most of his life.

[–]dj10show0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It confirmed what I was already thinking but socially conditioned not to express, so pretty easy

[–]machimus0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Depends. Your prior experiences, which may prime you to accept the ideas, your openmindedness, your "wake up calls", your situational role models.

My transition was pretty natural, it was fairly miserable for awhile while I got over the angst, but it was totally worth it. The final step is forgiving yourself for not knowing when you were younger. It was not your fault.

[–]DeucesCracked0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

First you have to be in a social situation where such distinctions are relevant, such as an imprisoned wolf pack, which is where the tier system was originally observed. It doesn't really translate to a modern civilized society. If you were to rush a fraternity, join the military or go to prison it would be. Then it would be very difficult and also quit dangerous. Luckily it's not necessary and frankly unattractive to most females for a man to act like a paranoid animal. Men who attempt to be 'alpha' are usually seen as desperate, overbearing and egotistical. They attract insecure and manipulative females.

Anyway good luck

[–]Dr_Van_Nosstrand0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It isn't something that can be measured in terms of conventional difficulty on a relative scale.

It's a mindset my friend. You can become an alpha right now after reading this post. Becoming an alpha starts with the immediate belief that you are an alpha. You may not have the physical body attributes to let others know immediately upon sight of you, and you may not have the material items you might believe will help dictate your alpha posture to the rest of the civilized world.

It's about believing in yourself and that you, and you alone, are in complete control of your destiny.

Believe that you are master of your own domain. Believe that you are a winner in everything you do. Believe that success will come to you because you know you are putting the hard work required for such success. Believe that all of life's offerings which you desire are there for you today, or that they will be there tomorrow. Believe that you own any room you walk into and will ever walk into. Believe that any woman you may desire is achievable, but that your happiness is not dependent upon your achievement of said woman.

Above all else, you must simply believe in yourself. Believe that your happiness is not dependent upon any other single person, place, entity, thing, or tangible object in this universe other than what is already inside you. True happiness comes from within.

That is what it takes to become an alpha.

I wish I could give you a step by step formula but my friend, let me tell you plainly and without such flare that there is no formula.

There is an alpha already inside you. Let him into the world.
