Honestly these days I don’t go out much! Im more of a street, book store, or coffee shop gamer. But If I do a bar, my strategy is fully smaller hotel bars only that don’t have too much activity, and I will scope the scene female to male ratio. In my mind ive eliminated 90% of the friction. It's a learned skill. With any skill, practice is necessary until it's effortless. Compliment them. Ask them questions they can reciprocate. Make it easy for them to talk to you. sometimes they are just as nervous as you.
