No one is shaming them But it provides you no out unless your husband is very rich and you will get a large sum in a divorce or you have inherited a lot of money. The spouse with a career will always make out.

Good job OP! From your history it seems like he was overall not caring about your needs during sex and getting lazy in the relationship too. Just curious if he knew porn was an issue for you?

Yea I get that. I guess I mean I’d listen to the other side of the argument if they did things to prevent them to begin with. But until that happens I’m not even willing to entertain them.

Idk I would be all for tightening up abortions if we put a great amount of effort into sexual education, consent laws, and free/subsidized birth control. I honestly think if we could get our shit together we could eliminate most abortions. But people who are anti choice really just want anti sex and that’s never going to happen

There was just an Idaho Republican senator (I think) that voted against early childhood things like daycare/education because it allowed for women to be out of the home when he felt Like they should be home with the child. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/idaho-early-education-bill-voted-against-mothers-home-child-care-1573413%3famp=1

Do people really have good casual sex? I guess I never have. I’m married but due to me knowing it wasn’t going to be good helped.

Does everyone notice how nearly every man Says “I would pound someone to the ground if they were a rapist/pedo/assaulted someone” and then it happens and so many dudes defend the criminal?? They have the hero complex until they want to get away with rape.

Yea my mom is def a pick me. Anything my dad says she goes with and I don’t remember him doing any childcare and he didn’t particularly like young children. However he did make plenty of money to pay for my mom to be a stay at home mom and never held money over her head or anything. I think it made me not want to be a mom though. I don’t really feel bad because she was a stay at home mom she was not a good housewife. Lol. Bad cook and the house was not kept clean, and even had hoarder tendencies…

Ha maybe! She actually Is super nice. I was at a fancy event I had no business being at and her and her friends were there. One of her friends drunk bumped into mine and she rushed over to apologize. But I also think she has a grip On his testicles. Lol

Personally I think it’s because women have such different types of men that are their preferred type. Just thinking about my group Of female friends, some Like super skinny and tall, others musicians and artists, so jocks/gym types.

Beth something. She is actually super nice/sweet. I think Howard’s grown up a lot and his followers hate him for how “good” he has become.

Tiktok has been ripping into John Meyer too for dating Taylor at 18/19
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/21 07:45 PM

Oh for sure. I just mean that he’s doing it for other motives which is LV
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/21 05:26 PM

I think this is a good point too. In this situation they are paying to make themselves feel good and it is helping to offset their other LVM qualities.

Luckily no guy has ever made me feel that way but I still felt the normal self confidence. While I don’t have a lot of confidence now, or maybe the normal amount. Lol, I just don’t care what other people think. I’m not sure what the switch was, but I became happy with myself and with my life. Now I am happiest when my friends are happy too.

Ugh I hate that I used to make fun of women. Now I go out of my way to empower them. I’ve started putting men down though which I don’t necessarily like but sometimes I can’t help it. I’m angry with them.

I love tik tok. There are actually a ton of creators out there like this. There is this one girl who is originally from Poland and her whole page is just encouraging men to be better. Pretty quickly it figures out what you like and dislike

Honesty saving money and not spending money for a day gives me a high. Like I feel like it’s a good day when I haven’t had to spend a dime. I will spend money on food, mentally that’s different. But really pizza is my go to. Stopping for a slice for a couple bucks is cheap.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/02/21 03:58 AM

Personally I think it’s both. I’ve seen a few of my friends get stuck on the bad boy emotionally abusive types. Generally they grow out of it but will date a HVM and they get bored. I’ve even seen where women think a dude doesn’t like them unless he’s being super Controlling and not letting her go out

Right how can you enjoy it knowing they aren’t into it? So weird
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/21 10:24 PM
44

Yea agreed. I mean the obvious answer is men need to be better. But the easier solution is to also have women not Put up with it. Because even though the answer is men need to change there is no solution unless women stop tolerating it. I think girls need to be taught more self worth in school/growing up so they recognize the signs of abusers and are better equipped to leave sooner

Fucking yes! This is an excellent point. Same with sexual assault. Like grabbing a girls ass or something. All men say they would never rape or sexually abuse, too many men have.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/02/21 05:39 PM

A HVM would never call himself and HVM

Well I don’t love that her life is in shambles. I’m actually happiest when all my friends are happy. Right now she is doing well. But I’ve had to have some tough love conversations and given her advice over the years. Just saying I never felt like her therapist or minded that she came to me to vent or look for advice.

Haha idk. I think I’ve maybe always been that way? I don’t have a lot of friends but the ones I do have I have been friends with for ten plus years and it’s not a close proximity thing. That being said I have definitely had friendship that are circumstances, and those fizzle out but I kind of know it will. But I’ve definitely had friends where their life is constantly in shambles and I am the sounding board, but I never mind it the way other people seem to. I do honestly not like talking about m…

Join groups for hobbies you like and let the friendships happen naturally. Or get a puppy. But honestly I’ve been wanting to be friends with our neighbors for years. I’ve lived here five years. Lol. We talk here and their and they are the popular ones of the neighborhood. Husband wanted to invite them for dinner and drinks but i felt it was too much and forced. Personally I think the problem is people don’t understand how bad porn is. I know I didn’t. In my 20s I never had a problem with it and thought it was liberating for women on a very basic level. Even men watching it once in a while I didn’t see a problem with it. I didn’t know anyone addicted and it was never even a thought or concern in any of my relationships. It wasn’t until a good friend of mine was like “porn is so horrible”, and I was confused because we are both liberal and don’t consider…

I see a lot of those types of videos On tiktok. I honestly think it’s a great platform and the good far outweighs the bad. It could be the types of videos I’ve watch or people I follow, but overall it’s way more positive than other social media apps. Overall the comments are positive and encouraging and supportive which I find refreshing.

Luckily I only know one. But she had it set for life in great career and financially. Now she works part time at a library and receptionist at a dentist. She had two ex husbands fuck her over. It is tough, I used to be like that because on a really basic level I don’t have a problem with porn. And then I did research on the industry and how it’s harmful towards women and also the type of porn being harmful towards men and women. I don’t think most people know how harmful it really is, so it becomes a insecurity issue with most couples.

It’s sad but I think most scrote guys rather lose a girl to another guy, than lose a girl for her deciding to stay single. Edit: just went on the red pill to feel angry and idk, but this was the first comment: “ Even as a short and older (34) male, I'm still not even a choice for women. It's ridic with the amount of women I see on Match who are my age or older and STILL single, looking for that dude that doesn't exist for them anymore and hasn't for years.” 🤮

Yep!! And it’s such a time suck. I also hate the shit food and beer that goes with it. I used to not mind the playoffs or when my Team I liked was playing. It slowly became an all day Sunday, Monday night and Thursday night thing. Became way too much, and my team sucks so last season I cut it out cold turkey. Now I’ll watch like the last 5 Mins or have it on in the background while I’m on Reddit.

I kinda took it as a compliment. Like you are a HVW so you will attract all the men and unfortunately you will need to sift out the LVM. But I don’t know much about dating.

Ugh it’s so true. Most women have a reason for being “crazy”, I tell people there is always a reason. But it’s so true that most crazy dudes that something bad will happen. I had a friend who had an abusive bf and she told the mother and the mother said she just had to accept it and the dad was also like that sometimes. Choking and holding down to not let her leave. It was really scary. Also stalked her at work. I’m glad she got out of it but it took her a while.

Lol the life lesson thing, it’s exactly what is happening now with corona. So many of them “I thought it was no big deal until I got it, don’t be like me and please wear a mask”, like really you couldn’t comprehend it was a big deal before?!

Yes a lot of coats do require dry cleaning. My every day jacket I wear In the winter I can throw in the wash. One of those puffy jackets. And then you are supposed to throw them in the drier to puff it back up. So that’s easy. The ones you don’t are wool type coats. Like peacoats, those need to be dry cleaned. But I rarely use those so I only get it dry cleaned once a year. The biggest thing for me is fur, so I use a lint roller a lot.

The problem is you are still young and trying to prove yourself. Most people in corporate America don’t put in 100% effort. How do your boss and coworkers perceive you now? If they respect you and acknowledge you are Doing a good job, then start forcing yourself to take care of you. Meaning do your best and be dedicated for a set amount of hours and then you are done. Same with taking a lunch break. Just do it. The same shit is going to be there when you get back. What are they going to do? Fire…

I personally don’t find most men interesting. Like they are kinda surface level. Like my husband will talk to his friends and it’s nothing really deep if that makes sense. Like fart jokes or talking about trucks or sports. I can’t really relate to that. Idk I never really learned how to talk to most guys, especially the macho into sports types. However the guys I do make friends with easily tend to have a shit ton of friends, both male and female

This is the main reason I am not having children. Obviously I don’t really want them either. But I hate how it always defaults back to the mom. I think out of six couples we are friends with the mom and dad are only equal on one of them, and he was the one that really wanted kids.

Also people with kids... it starts young! I remember being in elementary school and the girls (including me) giving in to whatever the boys wanted to attention. The biggest one I remember is snacks and candy. Those dam boys were always putting on the charm and asking for the extra snacks and candy and the girls gave it to them. Never did they offer their stuff. Same with homework, girls always were offering to share their homework with them to get their attention or to make them like them.

Totally agree! Luckily my husband learned to cook from her because he was interested and wanted to. He’s awesome in the kitchen. But yea his mom makes jabs at me here and there for not doing enough. It’s weird though because I 100% don’t mind. And sometimes I’ll even go along with her and it’s funny to watch her head kinda spin about it. I also only see her a few times a year so that could be why to.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/10/20 06:54 PM

Yep my husband grew up with his mom keeping the house clean, cooking dinner and working. She didn’t stop until an hour before bed where she would watch a show on tv. I’ve heard it so many times from him. I’ve made it clear that is NOT me and he should feel sorry for his mother, even though knowing her I think she enjoys it since she gets validation from it. I think it finally got through to him when we hired cleaning professionals that he complained still didn’t do a good enough job.

While I don’t disagree that chicken cutlets aren’t that hard to make, people are picky about them. My husband uses two different types of breadcrumbs and specific brands. His mom taught him and he has tweaked is a bit and now that argue over who makes them better. Also living in the mid west, 9 times out of 10 when you get them at a deli they are dried out and too thick.

I think maybe because it doesn’t have to do with him? Like it’s her favorite food and he took a lot of time to make it perfect. I love my husbands chicken cutlets too but he loves them just as much. Also I don’t cook, so I do below bare minimum and it’s awesome.

As anyone else gotten more bothered by sex scenes in movies and tv shows? 99.9% of the time it is dude bangs chick and the moment he is done the sex is done. Why is this a thing? I can’t even remember any time I have seen where the girl actually gets off. The only times I can think of it is when it’s a comedy and it’s over the top her orgasming. This is great and also her comment is so rude to her son! Like yea typically men didn’t do a lot of the baby/kid stuff but I think most men enjoy it in the sense that they are being equal and want to be a part of their kids lives. So I feel bad for him that his mom had such low expectations.

Every time my husband says “we should do laundry today” and I say “ok you can do it.” I feel a little bit like my ancestors are clapping for me in their grave!

I was just having this convo with a friend that yes men do get raped and yes it is traumatic and horrible. But men aren’t getting raped by walking down a street at night and held at gun point and raped and left for pretty much dead. Women don’t do that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/08/20 12:11 AM

It’s such a lie too, most parents get 50/50 unless the child is super young and breast feeding. I e even known abusive dudes with records to get 50/50. So if they don’t have 50/50 they aren’t trying hard enough or secretly don’t want it
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/08/20 02:27 PM

Also if you have any lawyer friends...

Lol well considering he didn’t actually say date... jk. But yea I’d say you dodged a bullet
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/07/20 06:59 PM

Honestly I think it’s a red flag when dudes propose within a year. Both people I know that did this wound up divorced because the dude became abusive right after the marriage. It’s like they knew they could play in cool for a short time and then lock it down quick so they can be themselves and it’s harder to leave. I guess maybe longer engagements should be a thing.

So read the lyrics for the first time and laughed because they are amazing. Then looked her up on Wikipedia to see who she married... “ Twain met producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange...They were married on December 28, 1993 and had a son, Eja (pronounced "Asia"), in August 2001.[115] On May 15, 2008, it was announced that Twain and Lange were separating after Lange allegedly had an affair with Twain's best friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud.[67][68][116][117] Their divorce was finalized on June 9, 2010.[1…

Omg! That sounds horrible. We are lucky that we both have good paying consistent jobs but his spending habits still sometimes irk me. Gotten a lot better in the last few years. I’m the type of person that If I don’t have money for something then I don’t get it. Where he is the type that borrows money or uses the credit card. It’s more the lack of self control I guwss
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/07/20 06:36 PM

Haha right! In my case my husband was def the “financial burden”. Never saved and just spent whatever on whatever. I was always frugal and a penny pincher. We’ve both helped each other, but it was tough and still can be.

Yep I never understand how people can be SAH partners. It would give me huge anxiety to rely on someone for both our lives. I also feel like it’s insane pressure on the other person too. As much as I hate working, I would hate the alternative more.

Yes! I’ve had this theory for years after seeing it happen over and over. My theory is that most women in their 20s early 30s want to settle down and get married and have kids because they have been brainwashed their whole lives and because they think they are mature because let’s face it they are way more mature than men at that age. They also are still young and in secure and beg these men to marry them. Ok then they get married and they grow and find themselves and get tired of the bullshit t…

Honestly laundry really isn’t a big deal. I prefer to do it separately. Husband and I have separate laundry baskets and when mine is full I take it to throw in a load of laundry. When his is full he does the same To be fair as a young girl when my dad would ask me to help me in the yard I definitely did the above tactic. Lol.

Honestly I’m a huge food/restaurant person and I would have no clue where to go right now. All the restaurants in our area on google say closed for dine-in, I’ve heard it’s a glitch with google? Idk. Unless I follow them on Instagram, which is like one or two I have no idea what is going on. However he could’ve said let me figure out what is open and I’ll get back to you.

Yep then they all bitch about how they can never get 50/50 custody. My sister works for a Law form for family law specifically for men. If a man wants 50/50 they will get it. Most men don’t want it. It’s gross.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/05/20 05:33 PM

I’ve heard gay guys do this. Like before a date they will do an enema so that he is totally cleaned out and not eat for a while before. Not sure how true this is.

If you want messed up story look up what happened to nikki addimando. There is a new law in NY state that would absolve her. Basically saying if you kill someone due to abuse and you are found guilty then they can give a reduced sentence or something. However the republican judge was too scared to use it since it would be the first case of it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newyorker.com/news/dispatch/when-can-a-woman-who-kills-her-abuser-claim-self-defense/amp

thanks for the reply! he has never held that type of stuff against me or even mentioned it. Just my own observations about myself. if anything i think he helps my motivation. ive always been pretty lazy when it comes to chores or getting stuff done. honestly because i am lazy when it comes to a lot of things and not the typical housewife, no kids, blah blah. He is the one that cooks, is actually a really great cook, grocery shops, does the fix it projects, etc. i dont keep the house as clean and as organized as he would like. to be fair he does a lot of HVM things, and to be completely honest i dont act like a HVF (not sure if thats totally accurate) most of the time. but a foot rub does sound nice. i think someone mentioned it the other day that a lot of men are on a spectrum.

i know he doesnt cheat. there are many reasons why i know, but i know he doesnt. im definitely not jealous either, my initial response was to laugh, and for other reasons i dont want to get into. More just disappointment.

Yep! I’m so proud of her! It was so sad watching this super strong both physically and mentally person be beaten down by men. I remember when she first started dating her HVM and her and I went to happy hour she was like “it’s weird he doesn’t blow up my phone demanding when I’ll be home and isn’t checking up on me 24/7, he must not be that into me.” And I’m like no he’s just normal and isn’t a controlling freak!

I have a few friends that have “daddy issues” and it’s interesting that they all fit the same pattern. I think there is some deep rooted shit that women experience when they don’t have that prominent male figure in their life and I’d argue their mother is just as much to blame in most date the same shitty type of people over and over while they are growing up. I have a few friends That have the option of dating the HVM but over and over they pick the LVM and are confused when it doesn’t work. I …

For me the real problem with football is the amount of games. As a female I honestly enjoy one game per week of the team I like. My husband also shared the same interest. What happened was that it turned into ALL day Sunday and then Monday and then Thursday. That’s 20 hours a week of football. way too much! Now I hate it and my team sucks.
