I think men think woman on a screen = pornstar which is why the apps are a mess

I guess it does come down to whether you received basic sex Ed, but I’m sure most people already know this. They’re not having anal because they think it’s lovely and safe let’s just put it that way

“HVM potential” is just a low value Male. Plus I’ve said this before, but most men are LVM. Then secondly to this most men are of low value to you. Even if there were only 100 HVM on the planet, you would only really need 5 throughout your lifetime as an absolute maximum (just imagining personality differences cultural differences and common interests which could set you apart from a high value man). There are different standards out here. There are probably medium value men of you like to tier …

I think just appreciate your worth in an objective sense as far as that can be healthy. Like even if there are moments where you feel bad about it, remember you’re still above his level no matter how high he was. I think you need to detach your worth from the guy, and don’t judge through comparing him to yourself, because I think that’s where the guilt is coming from.

What actually is an elite matchmaking service? Are you sure it’s not a scam? In my opinion dating apps aren’t really a great way to go. Someone did a post on it recently and its a really in depth academic analysis of why this stuff doesn’t always work. Plus who knows you better than you? Edit: not sure what happened in the comments here, but I guess I got tagged and then someone commented that I shouldn’t have been tagged pickmeisha, then that comment was removed and that person was banned? None of the above I mentioned are influencers. They work in fashion and they aren’t affiliated to brands (besides the ones I mentioned who are creative directors of brands - head designers). These people aren’t focused on editing because they’re artists themselves. A few I mentioned are street style photographers - it’s their career to take photos all over the world of the most incredibly dressed people who are just living their day to day lives. I think the point is, there is no “how to” for ae…

The situation here is obvious - he’s insecure and rubbish. You’re ahead of him in life besides the fact that you let this drag it so long. From what I read there is absolutely nothing appealing about this man. He is probably a narcissist - they struggle with feeling superior one second and feeling worthless the next. On the one hand you’re good for him because you’re better than him, and he aspires towards that. Despite your mental health struggles and whatever, you graduated and he didn’t. On t…

They’re raised so badly. I live with a guy who’s 19 and disgusting (university appartment). He genuinely eats ham cheese and soggy lettuce all day. He buys PRE MADE OMLETTES and pisses on the toilet seat. When I moved in and saw the state of the apartment I wanted to die. Since then he’s wayyy better, but stilll insanely gross. One day his mum comes to visit and I finally understand why he’s so gross. She was hoovering his room (he had never hoovered in 4 months), and he was standing outside the…

This happened to my mum. 33 year old psychopathic father who had an incredible career married 24 year old Woman, with no money, no career, no friends, and they moved to India. He slapped her in the first few months of the marriage. She “didn’t need to work”, and they had their first kid 9 months later. Still married after 34 years thanks to gaslighting. Yeah I think the girls point was actually that it’s easy for her to be wet - not that she’s literally “aroused all the time”. I think she just means it’s a natural reaction for her body and it’s not hard to achieve even if it’s someone who she hasn’t given much thought/ isn’t that attracted to. I honestly feel like the girl linking her account was just a plug. Maybe she needed more money, and she noticed the interest here. First of all it sounds like you might have an attitude to sex where you assume that sex takes away from being a high value woman. Sex has literally nothin to do with that. If you know you just want sex, then go for it. Flirt dress up and meet new guys in social situations. I understand the difficulty of casual dating however. There was a time (basically my whole life before now) where I just didn’t want a relationship. But also I didn’t want to hook up with guys who I could tell wanted a relatio…

Men like all boobs, they’re far too simple for any universal set of preferences . Seriously I’ve never heard a guy say he doesn’t like small boobs. I don’t know where all the “men like XYZ” stereotypes come from. If anything, men will probably take you less seriously.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/20 01:58 AM

I’m not too sure about the status part. I wouldn’t date a guy who couldn’t build a legacy, or help me give my kids the privileges I had growing up at a minimum. I get that statistically this means my ideal guy is also privileged. But sometimes people have been dealt a shitty hand of cards, and they work past it and grow better. Plus, while the stereotype is that low socioeconomic status people grow up in broken homes, I can tell you that the other side of the spectrum is seriously fucked up but …

Men act like women trap them into co parenting. Yet men are overwhelmingly represented in the role of ABSENTEE FATHER 🤔 very similar to how the same men complain about gold diggers. Most of the time they’re broke and deluded - seriously who wants their pennies. Also I’m cringing at the apparent lack of biological knowledge. I’m not sure why, maybe it’s a cultural thing (seeing as most reddit users are from the US) but most of Reddit people have whack ideas. It’s usually the men but the women on pages like two X chromosomes are so so ignorant.

If you don’t feel like you can talk about your dating ideas, then you’re probably not really friends. You don’t have to join them when they go out trying to get with guys. You can express how you feel about it just as it is. I think there really is a generational difference from people right now in their 20s vs people in their 30s, but at least in my friend group, we all pretty much share the same dating strategy which is “men are trash/dating is boring”. I’m the same. But I don’t think I’m too picky, because it’s not really a problem to only like a few people. It makes things much easier for you if you narrow your responses. You could save a lot of time by not going on those tinder dates. If you only felt attraction to one or two out of 60+, then you probably need to be more selective before you get on the date, so pay attention with messaging and check pictures more carefully

Absolutely 100% agreed. Good manners and respect are at the core of any good relationship. If you don’t know how to reciprocate the relationship is going to fail for sure. Plus if I was constantly being gifted but never return the gift it would feel weird like a payment for the relationship or something. That’s much riskier territory in my opinion

Yeah I would still never date a guy who earned considerably less than me. I still want to date a wealthy guy - this advice is actually coming from me being the product of a marriage between a very wealthy man and a woman who thought she’d won the lottery. I think a lot of people here don’t have dating issues but general people skill issues. People need to be honest about what friendship means. People with shallow or surface level friendships, fake friends, and no role models are the people who end up in disastrous relationships. Fake friends stand up for you in public whether you’re present or absent. Don’t disappear in times of need - illness sadness, grief, etc Are more than just good company Don’t discuss you when you’re not there Don’t make f…

I feel like it’s not worth it. You can just use Facebook and social media. LinkedIn is another one. You don’t need to pay $36 dollars a year just to find out if they’re not lying. If you have suspicions don’t date them. Otherwise brush up on your FBI skills. Seriously ladies spend wisely, that could have been some nice makeup, or nails

It’s sad that most people aren’t taught this growing up, and I’m glad I always did what I loved. I think it’s partly to do with me just not caring about what other people think, but seriously it pays off when it comes to self esteem andbidentity. If you have things you live in your life, you won’t settle for someone who doesn’t bring you as much joy

I don’t think you should idealise cocktail party moments. It’s quite fantastical and unrealistic to dream up perfect scenarios. While I do like some of Shallon’s videos and I think she’s hilarious, she doesn’t practice what she preaches (if you’re up to date, she tried to convince herself to take back her 25 yr old boyfriend who cheated on her with a subscriber), and she is a self acclaimed narcissist (she said her therapist told her). This title is “pickmeisha” behaviour! There should be no fear involved first of all. You need to date calmly with a clear head. I’ve seen a lot of posts like this about people getting nervous or jittery about meeting a “HVM”. Let me tell you “HVM” basically don’t exist. You need to look for what they mean to you, and you find that out by getting to know them. You can’t really assume a guy is high value at an early stage, even if you can suss out the low value guys. I think your too focused on the labels instead of what they mean. Being a “high value woman” just means you have self respect. You can become a “hvw” in a split decision. However if you truly were naive before and truly were a pivkmeisha, then you probably will find that after you transition, your boyfriend might seem less appealing

I don’t think gifting a guy once in a while is wrong - you can’t tell from a picture what he does for her. He might treat her every day. Actually I think it’s healthy to return gifts just as generic manners. So many responses to this post are attacking his appearance just because he received a gift 🤔

Maybe date through mutual friends. I’m 20 and the dating apps are the same at any age range I think, with the only difference being there are more young people. I haven’t used the apps for a year and I don’t think I ever will again. They’re just boring.

I think I’m right in saying, he’s not a jackass he’s a child. If you ever date a younger guy, expect him to lack emotional immaturity. It’s a totally fair assumption especially if he’s a teenager/young adult. I’m not shaming you for going younger, but there are some realities d younger guys. Even myself as a 20 year old am reluctant to date guys my age, because they’re just not here mentally.

I’ve never even heard the term plate. Why is he comparing himself to historical figures. I do appreciate how brutal poverty is. Seriously if you’re in a bad financial position and you have no family, speaking from experience, it can get really bad really quickly. It can also cause a lot of psychological damage. However, I think this man has some serious issues. He sounds like a narcissist and sociopath.

THIS - I’m saying this because this is how my father won over my mother. It’s a take as old as time, just because he’s rich or a director or a CEO doesn’t mean he’s high value. I can literally give a bulletproof mount guide to wealthy sleazy men. They’re not the same as working class/middle class dusties at all.

I hate to say this, but he does sound a little creepy. He’s trying to do all the power moves. He hardly knows you and he basically bought you whatever you wanted. Even if he’s extremely generous, that level of generosity isn’t really appropriate for early days dating context. Or maybe I misread? How long have you known him. Edit: Okay I just read the other comments. Yep - Don’t be naive about money.

I have OCD, and I love it when t comes to dating because it makes me hypervigilant and super judgemental and it’s an absolute dealbreaker. You can tell from someone’s room whether they have a life routine or not and whether they’re consistent. That said there are many reasons why a person might want to split living arrangements. Could be wardrobe space, lighting, heating, ventilation, and even OCD.

I think your words show it all. Your more focused on how he’s perceived by others instead of how you see him. What does “highly desired” even mean. Do you highly desire him, or do you think you should since most people do. You’re making out that it’s an honour that he has his attention on you. Flip it over, there’s a reason he’s interested in you. Popularity is not a metric for quality. Secondly, consider the possibility that you didn’t “mess up” your past experiences. I’ve never had a boyfriend either (well not since I was a teenager and that doesn’t really count as a real relationship) and I’m okay with it. I really have to say, the guy should be the first person in the relationship to buy you a gift or any kind of gift like experience. If he hasn’t done that yet, then the woman should not be going around giving gifts. Seriously ladies, womanhood is expensive, spend it on yourself. Get a nice eyeshadow palette for yourself.

Oh also I don’t really think people are low value OR high value. Some people are middle ground. And if you behave in a low value way to anyone at all, even if it’s a cashier, waitress or your mom when no one is looking, you’re a low value person. Anyone who tries to find low value people on tinder for fun is a low value person, who doesn’t understand respect and also doesn’t understand that you can find high quality casual sex.

I think pretty much everyone on tinder is low quality besides a few people who haven’t yet realised. I know the men there are low quality, but I also don’t understand how some girls I know continue to go back to tinder over and over again when it’s clear that the chances of meeting a guy who’s smart and not creepy are close to zero. I wouldn’t say “low quality people” but I think it’s just people with low standards. Even if you just want a hookup, you’d want it to be with a guy with a Brain beca…

That’s also true, breaking down the traits is really important because a lot of pick Meishas think they were chosen by high value men because they were high value.

A lot of guys think this is a compliment to women, thanks to the well established lie that women are weak, dependent and vulnerable and men are protectors and providers. This is really common, I’ve had a guy try to convince me that the condom didn’t matter. I’m not sure their reptilian brains thought through the entire process of unprotected sex ending in a child, but I think they felt like it’s a great way to start a relationship, since girls in relationships eventually have unprotected sex due to birth control.
