So I've never had a boyfriend, never kissed, held a guys hand or hugged any guy. It sounds weird but I am very proud of it so far in a way. Prior to finding FDS I used to feel like I missed out on having a "normal" teenage experience and then became a pickme and asked a guy out. He had a gf at the time so he rejected me. I cringe every day as to why I did what I did, but looking back on it now it led me to where I am today, no longer a pickme. So now I just really need advice. On one hand I want to experience dating but at the same time I don't feel ready for it because I barely have any time: school, internships, clubs, sports and gym, hanging out with friends and family, and I don't think I can fit dating on top of that. I want to find a HVM but sadly at my age there are barely any, I always get asked out by random creepy LVM on campus and my friends always say, "but why?? he was so cute!" and I know I'm not ready for a relationship yet my biological needs say otherwise lol. I just want to find a good guy and be proper friends and go through all the proper steps of dating, you know? Experience my first kiss, be asked out in a romantic way, hug him when I feel down, have a genuine friendship. I don't want to swipe on Tinder excessively to sort through LVM, which is what my friends do. I guess my question is, should I just put off dating until my late 20's? Reject guys until I'm truly ready? But how will I know what is the right time? I don't want to waste my first-everything's on someone I'm not going to marry. But I don't want to be that one weird 28 year old kissless virgin either. It's arbitrary and sad that society puts so much emphasis on these things, but be damned if you sleep around, damned if you don't. I should stop now I'm just rambling lol I'm just so happy and grateful I found vindicta, FDS and pinkpillfeminism!! <3
