Sorry I'm late to the party but this resonated with me personally. I had very little success with girls before I found reddit and started reading /r/seduction. Had sex with 1 girl between the age of realizing that I wanted to bone girls and 19, and only a couple times. I started reading stuff in February or March of 2012, and first got to put it to the test in April. I was visiting a friend at another college and was at a party at his fraternity. I met a cute girl there and we really hit it off.…

I feel your pain man. A couple months ago I had a very busty, extremely attractive girl literally pressing herself up against me. I could have taken her home with me but didn't. I was put off a bit by her personality and slightly intimidated by the fact that she's kind of tall, but in retrospect I just should've gone for it. At a certain point though I just get tired of the routine of going out, getting drunk, and picking up random girls. The lack of emotional connection can be really unfulfilli…

Don't do anything. Pick your battles. This has the potential to cause a lot of harm and stress to you personally and you stand to gain very little if you succeed.

If you aren't worth her time then she should most definitely not be worth yours.

I disagree, I don't think you should tell her you're there to meet girls. That comes across as creepy and not authentic. You shouldn't waste your time doing something you aren't interested in just to meet more girls. If you're genuinely interested in taking a dance class, then do it. Otherwise, find ways to meet girls that are fun for you.

Worthwhile read. I don't totally agree, because your definition of attractiveness also affects how you categorize others and theirs affect how they categorize you. If anyone finds your overweight, acne-ridden, smelly guy physically attractive, then they are part of a tiny minority. I do see the truth to some of what you're saying though. I've noticed that I haven't changed as much as my definition of attractiveness has changed. The guys I saw getting girls in high school dressed like douchebags,…

There are 3 basic components: Psychological gender identity Physical gender Sexual orientation Transwomen are not biological women, and that matters to a lot of potential sexual partners. A biological woman could have hairy legs or a mustache and still be biologically female. If you have or once had a penis you're most likely biologically male, regardless of how you identify.

Venue change even if it's within the bar. My go-to bar has 5 different levels, so if I meet a girl on the karaoke level or the dance level I can take her to one of the quieter levels or the rooftop patio to isolate, escalate, and converse.

(I tend to rate 1 lower than most people) 1 lower than the ratings you read about in text posts on seddit? Those are some impressive visualization skills you have! All joking aside, this is a good post. I can also see how it applies to club/dancefloor game where conversation isn't really an option and communication is all about eye contact and body language.

I used to not be able to get a girl's number at all, and last Wednesday I number closed a blonde HB9 while blackout drunk. That's got to be the biggest indicator of my progress so far.

Layman speculation here, but I imagine it might be a good idea to stop having sex with her for as long as possible before you dump her.

Cliff's Notes version: Lead the way all night. Make venue changes as needed. Eye contact and nonverbal communication is key since you probably won't be able to hold down a conversation on the dancefloor. Start with basic kino right off the bat and escalate from there. Relax. You met a cool girl and are going to have an awesome night. Be outcome independent and focus on having the maximum possible amount of fun that you can.

Damn, I'm glad I'm not the only one. When I started at my sport 6 years ago I wasn't invested and didn't know how to apply myself, so nerves weren't a big deal. 6 years later and I have unbelievable nerves before every race because I'm actually in it to win it.

This is a good metaphor. Balance this theory of interacting with walking into the club like you own the place and turning some heads, and you've got it made.

Solid advice from the other commenters. I'd like to add though, what's keeping you from moving elsewhere? There are some places/situations where it's really difficult to have a consistent and fulfilling social life. I took a year off from college at 19, so all the kids my age were off at school and I was too young to hit the bars. It was difficult to build up a network then. Don't give up on school, but if you can transfer and find a place to live it's worth considering making a move.

While it's unlikely this will actually go anywhere Why stop there? You know what to do, and even if you don't you're competent and self-confident enough that I'm sure you can figure it out. Going in with a defeated attitude won't help you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained my friend.

I am quite a confident person, but ive never talked to complete strangers before. Bit of an oxymoron here? If you think you're confident now, just keep at it and see what happens. I was in your shoes in high school, what I thought was supreme self-confidence yet crippling shyness. I've come a long way since then. I still have plenty of room to improve beyond the introductions, but I'm rarely intimidated by talking to anyone new anymore. I'll be the first one in my group to talk to other groups.

Compliments can be useful in certain circumstances, you just don't want to flood her with them. You can also make it indirect. Comment on an interesting aspect of her appearance without saying that it's "beautiful".

I think you're over-thinking it a bit. When I first started, I hit up the sidebar and the top posts of all time, and looked out for really good FR's to read (my man TofuTofu puts up some consistently killer stuff). Also, I've recently started watching videos of the pro-PUAs which have been invaluable to my developing game. Take a step back and start off simple. tape recorder Unnecessary in my opinion. So you aren't constantly focusing on your expression, focus on the root cause of the expression: what's going on in your head. I try to mentally undress her and think about the things I'll do to her if she gets lucky that night, and the end result is a confident, slightly mischievous smirk (hopefully not too cocky) while I maintain eye contact. You can add in some responsive, listening body language, like cocking your head to the side in confusion, a nod of agreement, eyebrows raised with surpri…

It was in the water for a pretty solid amount of time, so I don't think any amount of rice and alcohol could have fixed it. I'm really pleased that I got it back to that level of functionality, because I was able to extract 200+ contacts (aka type them out by hand on my new phone) that weren't saved on my SIM card. First off, major props to you for pulling this off without being able to communicate normally. I can't even imagine what that would be like. My quick take from reading this is that you're overthinking things a lot, and you don't seem to have a clear goal. I've been ENTJ without any changes since the first time I took one of those tests back in 2008 or 2009 as a sophomore in HS. I was probably an INTJ for most of my life before that and was just starting to become slightly extraverted. In my past year of self-improvement I've become dramatically more expressed in all 4 traits. Most notably, my E-I balance went from consistently hovering around 50-55% E to a solid 95% E. I'm also 6'6"/1.98, a bit skinnier than you at 190lbs/85kg. About 90% of the girls I hook up with are in the 5'1 to 5'6 range. You most definitely do not have to settle for a taller girl if you don't want to. Taller girls will definitely give you more interest right off the bat, but short girls love tall guys. It makes things a little trickier in bed but some of the most mind-blowing sex I've ever had was with a 4'11", 90lb gymnast. Only non-bedroom issues I've had with short girls are communica…

My motor skills were terrible, it took 4 years at my non-technical sport (rowing) before the overall athleticism gains ended up making me pretty good at coordination sports. Join an adult kickball league or softball league or something. Especially after you turn 21, because let's be real, those teams are just drinking teams that also enjoy sports on occasion. Besides, nobody really cares about winning or losing, they're just doing it for the fun and socialization. Or if you're in college, join a…

Dude, you're 20. You still have so much of your life ahead of you. I was chubby, awkward, had low self-esteem, and had zero success with women 6 years ago. In that time I found a sport, got in shape, invested a little money into clothing and keeping myself groomed, and started going out more to get more comfortable in social situations. Calibrate to your situation and mention it or joke about it if needed. Just don't let it affect your confidence at all. Last summer I got hit by a car one morning. I was covered in road rash, bruises, and had a massive bandage on my head where a large swathe of skin and hair got scraped off. I didn't let it affect my confidence (despite aching and having terrible concussion headaches) and I ended up hooking up with a pretty awesome girl 3 times that week.

Much easier to just tell the truth about it. I made up stories prior to losing it, and in retrospect it was pretty silly and I'm sure people knew I was full of it. Honestly, having sex for the first time is not this huge, life changing, profound, experience. It's just sex. If you play your cards right socially you'll get there eventually, so don't sweat it. For the longest time I tried really really hard to get laid and had no luck. When I relaxed and just focused on always having fun, I got lai…

I'm in it to improve my life. Through high school, although I did occasionally get lucky, I had very weak social skills. I had trouble even getting invited to places to socialize with girls outside of school. I blamed it on outside circumstances rather than taking responsibility myself. I had a life changing experience last summer where I was in a situation where I was extremely lucky to come out alive and relatively unscathed. That was a huge turning point in my life, because I realized that I …

Excellent post, couldn't have said it better myself. My entire existence prior to seddit was a series of oneitis after oneitis. To one in that situation, the idea that showering a girl with compliments and professing your deep feelings for her wouldn't seduce her seemed ludicrous, but after enough failures I realized that I was just being clingy and needy and driving potential relationships away. It's a vicious cycle, because it not only hurts your chances with the girl you have oneitis for, it …

Last summer, prior to finding seddit, I had multiple amazing hookups with a really awesome, beautiful girl. I think that the distinction still applies even in the case of relationships and marriages. If one person has much stronger feelings towards the other that aren't equally reciprocated, that relationship isn't particularly healthy.

Can't really give you any specific advice other than calibrating your behavior to the particular girl. Some girls have pretty set standards that aren't going to budge for any guy. Others are more flexible. Let me share my example: About a month ago I had my first ever random ONS, and right before we got down to business she told me that she'd never had random sex before (she didn't know that I was the same way). Ok so let me get this straight, the girl is interested in HB9/10s boyfriend, and you're interested in HB9/10, right? Keep in mind that this is how you approach the situation, but you've got to ask yourself about whether breaking them up is the right thing to do. HB10 usually refers to someone who is extremely high value in addition to attractive (i.e. a model, actress, etc.). The girl that you have virtually no chance of meeting let alone picking up. The most attractive/high value girls that I actually interact with are HB9s. There is a subset of seduction known as boyfriend destroyers. It's an ethical gray area and I recommend you tread with caution. It does sound like she's into you, but don't pull out the bf destroyers until you have good reason to b…

Initially they were defensive and said that it was the advice that the doctors gave them. Way I see it it can't really hurt to meet her, doesn't sound like you have any major reservations to consider. Best case it's a potential hookup, worst case you can friendzone her. There was a good thread on friendzoning girls recently, I'll try to track it down. Edit: can't find it. Pretty simple though, just talk to her in language you use with your bros. I've never really consciously thought about this. I'm just drawn to certain people and go from there. Excellent. What would you do if I kissed you? That's more like it. Instead of asking meekly for her permission you're confidently dangling it in front of her and letting her imagination run wild. If you're already comfortable going in for the goodbye kiss you know you both want, pull off that same move earlier in the night. The faster you escalate things the further you can get at the end of the night. Granted, when I was 16 I had yet to kiss a girl, so you're already doing pretty well.

Dances in high school would usually run from 8 to 11, and I would literally count down every minute until I could escape that hell. Now, I have fun with it. Sounds like your looks did all of the work for you. Closing yourself off like you did with the "why the fuck am I here" look is going to severely limit your opportunities, decrease your social proof and lower your value. Rather than ask to kiss her you should've just…

Text her infrequently. When you do text her, make it something that somehow uniquely connects to when the two of you met, like referencing a joke you made that she liked or something like that. The goal here is to keep her memory fresh on your high-value qualities that attracted her to you in the first place.

Another excellent post, I totally agree. The way I see it, I can be as choosy as I want with girls. So I take the HB scale very literally and primarily go after girls that I consider high value. Looks are important, but I like that most girls I have sex with are girls that I am dating or that I would date were it not impossible for some reason or another. Random sex is fun and a nice step up from jacking off alone in bed, but I love developing an actual connection with someone, however fleeting …

What's stopping you from moving out of the very small town? And age shouldn't stop you. Some girls care, and some don't. Don't assume that they'll flock to the 28 year olds. Last Saturday I got rejected by a 24 year old for being too young (almost 20) and then had 4 super hot 22ish year old girls all over me ignoring a couple of pretty good looking late 20s/early 30s guys later that same night. The more high value and awesome you make yourself, the less they will care.

Awesome dude, keep at it! Be careful with the missions though, focus on having a great time and good stuff will happen. I went out so many nights set on hooking up with a girl, and would come home disappointed. I got inside my head and didn't go out to anything other than small get-togethers with my close friends. Started reading seddit in March, went out to a real party for the first time in months just a few weeks ago in April, and within 4 hours was in bed with a really cool girl who I'd met …

Great writeup! Do you have a way you differentiate between girls that are just not interested versus those that are just doing what this girl was doing, i.e. playing hard to get? Or do you just proceed as normal either way?

When I worked retail I flirted a bit with female customers, but I was selling expensive things and bonused based on how many expensive things I sold. It sounds like this was more the girl and her own rules than anything. If she really doesn't have sex unless she's in a relationship, she might not do it no matter what. She clearly wanted to though. Did you get her off when you were going down on her and fingering her? When I do that, it almost always ends any LMR and I get the full f-close. Generally speaking, my goal is to have her begging me to fuck her before I go in.

If you get good at making eye contact while listening to others, you'll notice that when speaking their eyes will actually move and are a noticeable part of their body language. For example, when I'm trying to recall a piece of information to repeat in conversation I've noticed that I'll tilt my chin up slightly and train my eyes upward. When you're driving home a crucial point you should definitely make eye contact, but let your eyes wander as you speak. When listening, however, hold eye contac…

I would caution against using alcohol as a crutch, and I would caution against going after a girl because she's drunk and easy. It can remove inhibitions, but if you aren't careful you look like a moron. Find a way that works for you to remove those inhibitions without alcohol. I often drink when at events like these, but I never go beyond what I consider a moderate buzz, where I'm nice and relaxed but haven't completely lost my inhibitions or ability to speak clearly. I second this with reservations. It's a great exercise of self-control, but I don't think that it's a good idea to refrain from masturbating completely. Your body needs to get off every couple weeks at minimum to refresh the stuff down there. I used this to cut back from daily to twice a week.

Biting your lip can improve attraction in a certain light, but if you are actually biting at your lip and leaving it torn up, rough, and bloody, then it's probably unattractive. Those habits are hard to break, I actually caught myself unconsciously playing with my fingers just now. Go down on her. Look to /r/sex for guidance on this, or check out this explanation. Do this until she gets off. If she's open to sex she'll be begging you to fuck her by this point. If she didn't previously feel she's ready then she might beg you to fuck her anyways. If you do end up doing it, be very slow and careful because the actual penetration is likely going to be painful for her (although also pleasurable).

Definitely, it looks like our skills/weaknesses are pretty complementary. Unfortunately I'm pretty far from the Bay Area, but if your travels ever take you to the DC area definitely hit me up. As for SD, I spent last year there before I came out of my shell and learned out how to interact well with girls, so I unfortunately missed an opportunity to have a lot of fun with a lot more beautiful women. Hopefully I'll go back someday and get a chance to redeem myself.

Don't friend her on facebook. Just trust me, it's a bad idea. Your call whether to attempt to proceed, but honestly you're probably better moving on. Check your company's policies on office dating (and sexual harassment) before you do anything beyond very casual flirting. Last thing you want is to hurt your position at your job and then find out she was just trying to use you. Once you're sure that you can safely proceed, you can go ahead and ask her out.

Fascinating read. I've thought about similar issues before and this was an interesting perspective. I don't think there's a specific fix here. Just keep slowly improving yourself in whatever ways you deem necessary - clothes, grooming, fitness, etc. - so you feel you're always presenting the best possible version of yourself. When you're doing that, the confidence comes a lot easier.

My strongest point in night-game right now is club/party game where I start on the side of the dancefloor and can actually talk to people. 1) This is awesome. see 4) 2) If you take charge early she'll usually be really into listening to your every word in the thick of it. One way you can respond to being told what to do is by teasing her with it. So if she tells you to lick her nipples, get as close as you can to licking her nipples and then back off and focus elsewhere. Repeat a couple times and then finally do it with vigor. For not really doing kino this is an excellent outcome. You were carrying the date on just your personality/charisma, and you still managed to do really well. I'm not sure if what you were doing would necessarily be considered negging (as I understand that's more of an insult disguised as a compliment, ie "Oh I love your hair, is that your natural color?"), more just teasing, but it seemed to work out really well. Fair enough, I see where you're coming from. I'm still not sure we should read so far into it, because we obviously can't know all the details just from reading. I'm biased because most (okay... all) of my game prior to discovering seddit was fairly successful but always over multiple dates, but I still think it's important to read the girl on that decision. This past weekend I had my first ONS, and I didn't expect it to be so easy and hadn't really thought that far ahead. We had great conversation but I definitely should have taken her out …

Keep in mind that nobody knows each other, and that there's going to be a lot of introductions and talk about jobs, education, generic stuff. Don't be the generic guy. One I tried recently at a college party where I knew nobody was to be a CIA agent. I sent girls on secret missions to bring me alcohol, and said shit like "The United States of America thanks you for your service." It worked pretty well for me that night (lots of interested girls, ended up f-closing the hottest one) and in the fut…

IMO since you're looking for more than just a one-night stand with this girl it may be to your benefit to have held off on sex. Still leaves some mystery and intrigue in the relationship that will make it that much better when you guys do end up doing it a few dates down the line. It can work out the other way too, but that's just my $0.02. Get her going and then don't have sex the first night and she will be imagining it nonstop until the next date. Well played man, keep the FRs coming.

Exactly. A lot of guys love the super plastic look but that's a huge turn off for me personally. I go for the fair skinned, short brunettes, not too big up top, which is not what you usually see in porn. It's all subjective.

I had a wonderful post-sex conversation this weekend. She told me about her passions and dreams while we looked out her high-rise window over the lit up city at night. Awesome.

Ah, a fellow user of the 0-2 scale, just under a different guise. My buddies and I used this at my old college, which had an unfortunate reputation for a lack of hot girls. 0 = would not fuck 1 = would fuck drunk 2 = would fuck sober Occasionally guys would add a + or -, but that's all you need. If you aren't immediately able to categorize a girl by one of these 3 numbers, then she's probably a 1.

When you see the group of girls all dressed up and ready to go out, do an exaggerated eyebrow raise and say: "Just to be clear, the plan is to go back to your place later and have a massive orgy, right?" If you can work that line in to your night you'll be a champion.

I wouldn't have guessed you were a newbie from reading that! I'm fairly new to it as well and you came across as a seasoned pro. Writing it the next day is the best, when I wrote up my FR for Thursday night earlier today I read it and could not stop thinking about what a boss I was. Phenomenal ego boost.

Dude, this is awesome. My dance floor game could definitely use some improvement (I'm definitely more experience with the conversation/dance on the outside type of game). You have some great techniques here that I will definitely implement.

I really like having her give her number to your buddy, that's a great way of framing yourself as running the show, because you are running the show.

If you look around at the guys that are picking up girls, they are for the most part a pretty average representation of genetic features. I think my nose is too big, my ears are kind of small, my head is big, my skin is pretty pale and dry and burns easily. I'm too skinny for my liking, I don't really know what to do with my hair other than keep it in a buzz cut, and the list goes on. And you know what? I don't give a fuck. I can't control that, but I can dress well to emphasize my good features…

Haha sorry if it was a bit lengthy, I wanted to write everything out for self-analysis purposes. Thanks for reading!

Hate to say it but you may have cockblocked yourself more than anything. Try to resist the urge to smoke while you're in social situations because it at best has a neutral impression and far more likely gives a very negative impression. And let's be real, if your definition of success for the night would be making out with a super drunk girl that is on the verge of throwing up, you might want to up your standards a bit.

It can be very addictive if used improperly. I never take more than the single-pill recommended dosage, and I don't take it every day to avoid forming habits. Only side effects I've encountered are dry mouth and a decreased appetite.

Fish oils are awesome too. I mainly avoid the over-processed synthetic stuff, natural supplements like fish oils are great.

Methylphenidate is Ritalin. I take Concerta brand 54mg extended release. If you just tell your doctor you're having focus problems you should be able to get a referral to a psychiatrist who can prescribe it to you, it's pretty easy as the diagnosis is just based on questions. A lot of people like Adderall (mix of amphetamine salts) as well. If you don't want to get a prescription the highest dosage extended release pills usually go for around $5-$6 a pop for 12 hours of solid focus.

Not to brag, but I'm also one of the most healthy people you'll ever meet (at least according to the test results from my last doctor's visit). I agree with you that drugs are often better than plain nutrition, I take prescription methylphenidate to help focus at school. But I'm interested to hear what's working for you. What supplements do you take and for what purpose?

It's not even that they have negative effects for me, I just don't really see a huge benefit when using them and they aren't cheap!

Honestly, if you just focus on eating a good diet (lots of variety, mostly all-natural and unprocessed) then you may not really need workout supplements. The only exercise specific supplement I take is extra protein. A regular Clif bar before every workout (8g) and a Clif Builder's bar (20g protein) afterwards, and I hydrate using Accelerade (electrolyte beverage with 5g protein per 16oz water bottle). I also take extra vitamin C & D every day to make sure I'm exceeding my DV. Check out /r/fitne…

Just be straightforward. Last week I went to the doctor's office to get some tests done. The nurse helping me out was pretty attractive, and she had really beautiful ice-blue eyes. I just couldn't get over how incredible her eyes were. After a little medical talking I interrupted and said, "I'm sure you get this all the time, but your eyes are absolutely stunning." She blushed, thanked me, moved on. She had a big ol' rock on her ring finger so I don't think she was available either way, so I fig…

You definitely can change. I was pretty depressed and negative about myself at times, thought about suicide but fortunately never got serious about it. The worst times for me were when I had made the physical changes and gotten in really good shape, but was still doing poorly socially. Before, I could blame my failures on my being overweight, but even though I was confident about my appearance I was still struggling to make friends. Going to a therapist and being able to actually talk about my p…

Hey OP, I felt the same way as you for a long time. I was painfully shy as a younger child, only freely talking with people I knew really well. I was pretty chubby and insecure about my appearance in middle school. For much of high school I had zero social interaction outside of school. Over time I've started to get over it though. For me it was all about taking it in steps. I started with improving my diet in 7th and 8th grades. Started exercising heavily in 9th. Started putting myself in more …

White, long-haired brunette. Pretty face is crucial. Nice ass is preferable. Short to average height. Athletic or at the very least active. Intellectual but also funny.

I've started reading your posts in the past few days and you've inspired me to completely change how I interact with people. This is by far the best. A lot of the PUA stuff on here is intimidating to get into, but your posts are really accessible and easy to understand. So simple, but such crucial advice. Thanks for doing what you do!
