Brings me back to the episode of two and half men, where Alan hires a prostitute and it pisses his ex wife off, who then moves out. I know it sucks man, trust me, been there. Just have to deal with it unfortunately. Try to go have some of your own fun, don’t dwell on it and be a good dad

Don’t help, helped mine for years, has done nothing good for me. Her life, she can manage it.

It’s going to suck for a while but just keep reminding yourself you deserve someone who loves you and chooses you. Why would you want to be with someone who chose another man over you? Bc trust me brother, I went back a few times and we “worked” on it, it fucking sucked. The entire time I walked on egg shells, embarrassed that I was even trying again and I could barely look myself in the mirror. Accept it, mourn it, go to therapy and move on. 🙏

It’s going to suck man but if you accept it over and focus on yourself, you will end up happy.

Don’t do what I did. I took her back, tried again and again for years. What ends up happening, you lose yourself. Once it’s over, it’s over. Accept it, get into therapy, get some hobbies, and move on. Trust me, MOVE ON.

Really? I didn’t think MDMA was that bad but wtf do I know.

Our agreement is already strict to where I could refuse her to even take him. I just don’t know wtf to do bc idk how bad it can get. Plus she makes little comments like regular life is boring, but she can stop whenever she wants etcc…idk man i never touched this crap

All depends where you live man, but 7 kids is a lot. You’re definitely going to pay alimony man, 20 years is a long time to be together. Some states have life time alimony when married that long. Just say you make $150k, paying $4k in child support plus probably another $2-4k in Alimony…money will be very tight. Get the best lawyer you can, idk what else to say.

And I thought I was a dumbass, Jesus dude really? She’s 53 with a bunch of kids, treats you like shit, divorce her while you have nothing and go enjoy your life.

I’ve offered her $3k to get out. She has no credit, no family and no one who would even let her stay.

What is best for him? That’s my issue. Do I keep pretending she is a good mom and there for him or do I let her fall on her face and move on

Enjoy brother.

Hard to argue against any of this. My son doesn’t care about the $, obviously. I wasn’t saying it to brag of its importance but to explain my situation. Part of me does like to be needed but I hate hate hate dealing with her after like an hour. I am just so used to it.

Oo I am 100% hurting her by doing so but she is the type of person who would watch the world burn. So I try to keep things normal for my son, but it gets harder day by day. Appreciate your comment!

lol sounds like a tool. Don’t worry man, it won’t last. Just protect your son, focus on yourself.

Ahh so you also ended up with a major red flag. My advice, get a legal custody agreement asap that the boys will live with you. The taking to Peru, I wouldn’t worry man, it won’t last lol just please don’t be a dumbass like me, when she comes running back, tell her to fuck off.

I doubt you listen to me but I absolutely love my job, it fulfills me, pays me more money than I need and still at the end of the day, I much rather be with my son than working. Trust me dude, NO job will ever fill your heart like your kid will. I come from nothing and I’ve had great moments in my life where I was so happy but you know what the happiest moment of my life has been? Watching my son score his first soccer goal and running straight towards me and jumped into my arms. That moment, wi…

I figured you would take offense to it but we all have feelings dude. You know how many nights I’ve laid alone depressed? A ton! But when I’m with my son, that all goes to the side. That’s what I mean by be a man with him, be there for him dude. It’s fucking hard but that boy deserves his father to be there 100%.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/24 01:24 AM
3

Idk how old your son is but I will say this as nicely as I can. You don’t think your son misses his dad when you’re not around? He probably looks forward to being with you and deserves your full attention. We all been there man, it sucks, but stop fucking with your time with your son. There is no magic answer that instantly stops those thoughts, the difference is, you don’t let those thoughts EVER affect your son. Go to therapy, work on yourself and be a man when it comes to your son.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/24 01:08 AM

Well if you’re legally divorced there is not much she can do. She already agreed to it and legally did it. Trust me, worry about yourself, she made a choice and that was life without you. Let her have that, because I promise if tables were turned, she wouldn’t give your ass a dollar.

I still find myself having no interest in any relationship lol I love my peace
/r/Divorce_Men16/11/24 02:24 AM

Divorce does suck but really? She wants to divorce you because your family likes trump? wtf is wrong with this world. I am betting there is more behind it than that, who gets divorced over a politician lol wtf
/r/Divorce_Men08/11/24 03:21 PM
10

WTF is right, you get a lawyer ASAP. Now I’m going to give you some advice that this forum gave me but I didn’t listen and I learned the hard way. It’s over, she is not the same person you married and you need to see that. Your lawyer will guide you, listen to them. DO NOT try to work it out together, don’t trust her and for your own sanity go to therapy before you do dumb shit.
/r/Divorce_Men27/10/24 11:39 AM

Perfect! Let her try to figure out a good schedule. I tried to force a schedule and in the end my son doesn’t even care to go with his mom, total waste of time.

My ex is a nurse, honestly I just keep my son 5 days a week. He goes with her every other weekend. 7 days is way too much time for me to not see my son. Take all the time you can, trust me you won’t regret it
/r/Divorce_Men23/10/24 12:45 AM
3

Time man....it took time to get used to being in a the house alone. I actually sold our home and bought a new one just to make it less weird lol Total waste of money but I was happier after. Don't even bother trying to understand her, my ex has been through loser after loser and I never understand why she would choose that life over what she had.

Sadly the only ones you will have a say about is your biological kids man. I know it hurts, trust me dude I lost my step son from my life as well. Focus on things in your control or you will drive yourself insane. Time will help, be a good dad and move forward.
/r/Divorce_Men15/09/24 02:14 PM

No matter what happens or who she dates, you’re their dad. Trust me, I have been in the step dad role and I am now separated and my son is with her on weekends. No matter what I did for my step son, his dad was number 1! Be a good dad, enjoy your life man.

First off, I am sorry man, it fucking hurts. You don't know me but go ahead and look at my postings, I have been dealing with ex drama for 2 years, TRYING to fix it, trying to get her back. We had moments back together, saying I love you, working on things. It never works out though, something always comes up, its sucks bro. Even when we were together, it felt different, I felt on egg shells constantly, trying not to make her angry or hoping she finally realized I was enough. It took me a while …

Our agreement is already done and went through court. I went beyond it to help her so she can spend time with our son.

Same boat man…mine ex was a disaster and is just a fucked up person.
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 01:47 AM

She’s hopefully getting a new job that makes decent $ but she has done a lot of damage. Can’t imagine her doing the court route lol just venting
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 01:26 AM

Clearly! 2 years of free rent for her and her dumbass bf. All trying to make sure my son was ok there and could see her. My son hates going there now and now she does this crap? She will regret all this bs
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 01:24 AM

FACTS, she went too far today after everything I have done to pull this crap. She’s on her own
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 01:22 AM

Take your time man, I am in the same boat. We dealt with a lot of shit and now have peace. Enjoy your kids and your life, the rest will fall in place.

Honestly, I enjoy the time with my son. She’s not here ruining the moments. Enjoy it man, some guys don’t even get access to their kids these days. F’d up world we live in.

Personally, I could never move away from my son. I don’t care what anyone gives me, he’s only young once. I think you would regret this and he would be very upset. Not worth it in my opinion.

First off, I am sorry man. I know it must be devastating and to raise a child for 5 years who you thought was your own is just awful. Hire an attorney asap and file for divorce asap. As for your daughter, she biologically is not yours but I am assuming you are the only dad she knows. To her, you are her father. She didn’t do anything to deserve this situation, try to remember that with your next move. I can’t tell you to stick it out bc idk if I would but you should not just abandon her. She is …

Dude who gives a crap lol you make almost half a million dollars and he doesn’t work lol who gives a crap if he’s taller or younger or better looking, that shit will get old real fast. I have been in your shoes, move on man and stop worrying about your “replacement”
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/23 02:18 PM
4

Don’t you believe that crap about being friends man. Trust me, she just wants out and fast. Stay in that house until the divorce is final. Get a good lawyer and make sure you get at least 50-50 custody of your kids. Seems like she won’t have time to be a parent by herself, make sure you put your kids first here. Also, sorry man. I know the pain you’re going through, it sucks. Things do get better. Good luck!
/r/Divorce_Men03/12/23 12:51 PM

Listen to me man, I was soft as hell on my ex for the first 8 months . I was nice, gave into a lot, helped her. Guess what? She walked all over me for 8 months, treats me like shit, said I never helped her. Finally I said f that, hit the gym, focused on myself and my son. Never felt better, f her. Move on.
/r/Divorce_Men21/09/23 04:42 PM

Dude relax, I know it sucks. Sit back and laugh man, this is the guy she replaces you with? LMAO a loser. Be a good dad and stop worrying about her situation, unless it becomes dangerous to your kids.
/r/Divorce_Men06/09/23 11:54 PM

Lol she texts me about wanting my D all the time. Sends nude pics, texts me right after I get done lol I have a ton of proof. Honestly, I just want to move on and stop being a “simp” idc if she marries that dude.

/r/Divorce_Men18/08/23 12:10 PM

Wow she is a shitty person for using the kids. I have people who have to hurt the kids in order to hurt their spouse.

Honestly I still am not there lol but I act like I don’t give a fuck and I just been hitting the gym, spending time with my son. Helps a lot man, don’t let her shit bring you down.

Thissssss….dude, do not even think about ending your life over a woman. Go to therapy, work on yourself and be there for your kid! Stop this bullshit, I know it hurts to see her move on but you really going to end your life and leave your kid over it? If you think you’re “worthless” then change that shit. Start therapy, work on yourself and just enjoy the life you have bc trust me there are a ton of people who would switch shoes with you.

I am sorry to say this while you’re already upset but you will regret this decision. Your kids will also notice you not being around, this is something you can never undo once you choose this path. Obviously you need a new therapist and you need to man up. I’m sorry to say it but dude, you’re abandoning your kids. You say it’s best for them but that’s BS, it’s best for YOU. It’s easier for YOU, your kids losing their father is NOT better for them. Go find a new therapist, stop the BS and be ther…
