There is one good approach, you approach the center of the set, then touch both of them on the shoulders, they turn towards each other and you are behind them. That exactly what i did... only the blonde responded first followed by her bf. I will try to befriend the guy first next time. Thanks!

Thing was that i didn't know if the guy was with them or just hanging around creepily like the other dudes around there. but next time, if i do see such a situation, I'll be sure to open the guy first and they ask 'how they all know each other' - Thanks! my friend pulled the 'Hey are yo willing to make mistakes' line as a joke with a couple of girls who seemed they'd be up for a joke but overall unless a girl is really drunk and in the mood you're right, i dont think it'll work.

Thats a good point. I didnt want it to seem like i was battling my way through the crowd just to get to them, but my friend kept pushing me to try. I'll be careful to just hang around and have them notice my presence next time

Yea sorry, i guess i'm coming off as the 'Nice Person'. No i don't really go for direct complements to a girl, i often play with them or call them out on stuff.

i dont like pick-up lines either and usually do open with a "hi, (followed by some observation)" and while that works fine when girls are by themselves or in groups of twos, i find that approach difficult when girls are all gathered together in a set of 5 or 6 girls.

If they look friendly and open, a simple 'hi' usually works in my experience. Cool... so my question is... what do you say after the 'hi'. As in, you say 'hi', they reply with a 'hi'... then what? this is where i get stuck.

Thanks for the advise. So i may have messed it up but we'll see... I sent her a text at 11:50pm (a little late) last night. It was along on the lines of "cool meeting u, - insert funny story from night, followed by a canned question I later realized the canned question may have been a little odd but i guess we'll find out. At least i got to read up and learn about text game.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
