Guys,

So I'm a good looking dude (not trying to sound pretentious) and am rather decent at approaching girls at bars but either i or the chick seems to loose interest in the conversation which are pretty generic tbh...

I always wind down to the boring "where do u live/work/do?" type questions. sometimes we find common ground, but more often than not, its pretty boring. I do usually try and have her talk about herself as much as possible but i run out of questions when their replies lead nowhere

I would love some advise/reading material on topics and behavioral actions which would sharply peak her interest in me once the conversation has already begun.
