I don't really think that, a priori, you should be placed in the friends zone. Many of my female friends know their boyfriends because they were friends of their flatmates, so you have a chance.

I'd say, kino a lot and make sexual innuendos about how they should not get drunk because they could end up in the wrong bed (yours) and they might like it... something like that

Talk to your roommate. Ask her how she'd feel about you making a move. If she's NOT COOL WITH IT then it could be a massive mistake if you pulled it off anyway. Getting on the wrong side of a roommate is the worst idea. Especially if she's a girl.

If you're going for a more meaningful take and it might turn into a relationship you could still go for it.. that'd be about the only justification.

If she says yes then just make advances. Give her a little wink before you drop your line and tell them your bed is warm and welcoming.. or cook a meal with one of them. Taste stuff.. share opinions..

Bottom line is.. your roommate will be straight up with you if you do the same. She's likely to tell her friends you're single and looking if you flag it up.. that's half the legwork done.
