If he's very chill/relaxed and confident, with a deep voice. Small dick energy is a bit more hyperactive and you can pick up on some insecurities.

We shouldn't be mean to our friends who haven't yet started their journey, lord knows I spent many times crying to my bestie over some idiot exs before I found fds. We can be supportive and kind while someone is upset, and help them by offering advice etc. I know it's frustrating if your friend consistently makes bad choices but that's human. Think about how hard it was for you to apply all the rules of fds after reading the handbook and the posts, you can't be too annoyed at a friend who may no…

Dating men who have kids has never worked well for me. They always make it a point to tell me their kid comes first, like obviously?? I never ask them to put me first but they love putting me in my place like that for no reason. Then they have weird baggage with their ex where they either still love her and talk about her with some sadness, or they still love her and talk about her with bitterness or anger. She will also come before you buy they don't say that. I've not dated a man with kids who…

The only difference is he might pick someone who leaves at the first sign of abuse, so it never escalates and therefore you never think the new person suffered. Or he picks someone who is used to abuse and therefore doesn't make it a big deal and you never find out so it seems like he's not being abusive. But yea they don't change for anyone different.

I despise ed sheeran so much and he has this reputation of being such a sweetheart for his awful songs. Such as the song he wrote about Ellie Goulding, where they were fuck buddies and then gets so annoyed at her finding a different bf that he has to go write a song to try and paint her as the bad person. And I wasn't looking for a promise or commitment But it was never just fun, and I thought you were different

Why is it always pasta that they brag about being able to make? When I was 7 and turned vegetarian my mum taught me how to make a nice pasta sauce with lots of veggies in so that she didn't always have to cook something separate for me. As a 7 year old my pasta was better than this instant Mac n cheese shit 🤣

In my opinion, yes. He is risking his life to protect his country when he could so easily have saved himself or turned it over to Putin. He has protected his family and is trying to protect his citizens too, while not backing down. He is willing to die while defending his country. I am a full on fan-girl of Zelensky, he is everything a leader should be! Back in my pre fds days I went on a first date with a professional boxer who offered me a boxing lesson as the date. I'm into being active and fun sports so I agreed. I don't think I need to tell you that it was just an excuse for him to get too close too quick. Anyway, that's one insight. If your hobby is physical they probably think you'll get close to them during the lesson. If your hobby is knitting I doubt they'd be interested in a lesson.

Yes, I gained 20 lbs during my master's course and instead of saying to me "hey let's go for a run/the gym/let me cook you a healthy dinner for you to take to the lab so you don't have to get take away" he said "you've gained a lot of weight and I don't find you attractive anymore". He also said that he did me a favour by being blunt because if he hadn't then I would've continued to gain weight until I was about 600 lbs and couldn't move anymore. I'm guessing that by telling him she was pregnant she did want something more out of him. Like she says she didn't take his money for the termination, so why bother even telling him at all unless she wanted to keep him somehow. Also she says the condom broke and she was shocked to discover she was pregnant. Is it REALLY that shocking if the condom breaks? Did she not think to take the morning after pill? I don't think she wanted to terminate the pregnancy at all.

I started going to dance classes last summer, I do dancehall, twerk, and cheerography. It so happens that all the classes are female only (although all genders are welcome to join) and I've met some of the loveliest people ever from doing it. It's a great way to work out the stress after a workday, keep fit, improve flexibility, and I'm finally getting more confident in dancing. I'm so glad I joined them!

Ha I had an ex say the same to me when I found Badoo on his phone "oh it's just a chat site". I was mostly angry that he thought I would be so stupid not to Google what it was! I let him take me to dinner at my fave restaurant since we were on the way there when I saw the app on his phone, went back to his to make sure I had all my stuff, then left. Don't insult my intelligence like that, scrote.

I think looks related jokes are very classless and LV. People can't really help how they look, bar weight management, and even then, being overweight isn't the worst thing a person could be. You should only judge people on their characters. We should be acting better than LVM judging women on their perceived attractiveness or joking about their looks. The man in this photo has done nothing to deserve some of the nasty comments in this thread. It would be different if it was a photo of someone's …

I think that unless a man has proven to be LV, his image should not be used in a disparaging way. I didn't know who this is but commenters say he is an editor of Wikipedia and the reason he lives with his parents still is because he is their caregiver. A lot of judging on looks goes on here. I think we need to steer back to focusing on people's character.

Your comment made me realise, they've been together for SO long and she's celebrating the fact he acted so differently to her abusive ex? Surely by now she'd have realised what being in a relationship with her husband is like compared to an ex from almost ten years ago?

It's about the thought, not the money. An ex got me a teddy bear one birthday. I do not like teddy bears, I'm not a teddy bear person, I had even laughed at his mother having these teddies (tatty teddies I think they're called? The grey bear with a cutesy message). I spotted red flags very quickly and broke things off after date 2. I would have given chance after chance to them in the days before I found fds. I'm learning to trust my gut instinct too, if it feels off then it is off. I'm going to stay away from dating for a while, focusing on healing myself, overcoming my eating disorder, and levelling up in other ways. I won't be able to find a good partner if I'm so unhappy with my self and my life.

No, but I lived with one. One housemate, he was so neat and tidy and clean. His room was always spotless, when he cooked he wiped down counters and the hob. He would bleach the toilet, clean the bathroom sink, empty bins. He had his own plates and pans so he never had to use the shared ones. He was great to live with.

I ask customers to call me back if they don't hear from me. My work is super busy and stressful and I can't always respond to everyone when I say I can, particularly if it's an issue I have to ask a colleague about. I say "if you don't hear from me by 2pm please give me a call back". So far everyone has been understanding. But this is the thing, we all feel like we are the most important people and we are entitled to be remembered, but the reality is that other people, especially service people,…

I move guys I'm interested in to the archived because I'm the type of person who expects instant responses and my anxiety kicks in too much if I don't get them, I also respond instantly if I see a message. This helps me because everyone has a life, I can check on the archived chats when I want to, and reply leisurely without looking too keen. If a guys pissing you off then obviously block and delete, this tip isn't about that.

If you're messaging on WhatsApp, move the conversation to Archived. That way you don't get notified that he has replied, you only see a response when you go check. Its helpful if you want to stay unbothered about his frequency of replying.

It's only if your personality is pickme or codependent to the point you'd stay with an abuser that you should work on it. So traits that aren't ideal anyway. I definitely have work to do, but I no longer think of my "cool girl" traits as a good thing anymore, thanks to FDS helping me put two and two together and realising why I attract such LVM.

Probably boredom and easy access to women. My ex did it in a shopping centre and had to patrol round, got to know a lot of the women working in shops (this is how we met). On my break I'd see him in other shops talking to sales girls and I was just toooo idiotic to see anything wrong with that. They have the confidence to speak to women they like, as they perceive themselves to have authority. Also a lot of women find this "strong, protective, uniformed" type very attractive.

Vetting before a first date - schedule it to be on a worknight, or a night you'd have to be home sort of early. If he just wants a bang he's gonna moan and try to get you to reschedule to a night you don't have work the next day "so you can relax and won't be so tired in work". If he's not just after sex, then the prospect of ending the night early won't bother him.

I went to two female GPS with breathing difficulties and they both said "it's probably anxiety" I said "it's not anxiety, anxiety is much different" "how do you know?" they asked, "because I've had anxiety for 15 years and I know what it feels like?" "Oh. Well we can't find anything wrong with you so these breathing difficulties must be in your head, isn't that comforting?" "Um No! In what way would that be comforting, I couldn't breathe last night!" They had no answer but referred me to a speci…

My dad acts so soft with his cat it's so sweet. His cat was wary of me for a long time and dad always says to the cat "be nice to her, that's my daughter!" He's always been soft with our pets but I see it more with this cat because this cat has taken ages to warm to me or my mum so dad was his sole companion lol

Same for me, he believed if men disappeared from earth tomorrow we women would only last a couple of months without them because whos going to do manly things like drive hgvs full of food mland stuff. I was like "driving a lorry is only a little bit more complicated than driving a car" (my female driving instructor also taught hgv and bus drivers). I have fat hands and fingers, wear a big ring size compared to my friends, one of my thumbs is bigger than the other (I think from when a feral kitten bit me when I rescued him, little shit is now the cuddliest thing ever lol) and I'm a bit self conscious of them. One thing I do to protect myself is to make my walk more manly. Like don't swing my hips as much, hold my arms stiffer and a bit bigger (as though I'm holding something under each one). I always tend to look pissed off too (because I am) but it's good because people don't approach me since I look like I'm ready to snap. They are some subtle ways to put men off.

Men want you to treat them the way they treat you. I'm naturally submissive, domestic, people pleasing (urgh codependency). You'd think I'd have my pick of boyfriends. Nope, no one actually wants that. Lol if he's toxic then you be toxic right back. Be indifferent, treat him like an option. I have no advice on if he's not toxic since I've never been with one 🤣

Maybe do something more romantic and they'll feel more like a potential girlfriend to you" and since then, now that things are opening up here, they've been going on better dates and connecting better with the women.

Your college friends will be your lifelong friends. I'm 31 and have done an undergraduate at 18 and am still very close to my friends from that time (or as close as you can be when you live in different countries), and have done a master's at 28 where my class was about 7 years younger than me, but I'm still close to a lot of the girls from there too. College introduces you to so many new interesting people, you'll soon wonder what you saw in the highschool friends.

I definitely used to think I woupd be less insecure dating a chubby guy. All the "fit" guys I dated eventually said I was too fat and they weren't attracted to me anymore. Never try to change a man, he won't, he's comfortable with who he is and if you don't like aspects about him then that's a you problem, find someone else or learn to live with it. I used to go to a women's only gym. It was really nice. Some of the pt's were men but they were comfortable to be around. In my current gym I am too self conscious to do things like squats. I know probably no one is looking, but at least in a women's gym I am sure that no one is looking.

My experiences: Before I went vegan (I was veggie) I dated this guy who turned vegan from meat eater after date one. I felt like he did it to one up me. He then would berate me for not being vegan. I turned vegan after getting out of that, I think I was staying veggie out of spite to him haha anyway, point being he was an ass about it, always wore shorts and a beanie, and never had money. He's married to someone else now. A vegan guy I went on one date with. He showed up with bath bombs from a f…

I knew a girl who had dark bruises on her face because she and her new bf were into him punching her in sexual scenarios. She did seem to genuinely enjoy it (she told us many times how proud she was of her bruises and how much of a turn on it was to feel his power) anyway it obviously turned into proper abuse/domestic violence. She only left when he did it in anger in front of their baby. She had a lot of issues from stepfather abuse and stuff. She seems like she's doing better now but we're not…

Two nobodies from the last season of UK love island. She was awful, he was ok. They lasted like a week? before being voted off. The first half of this movie is SO interesting, watching him gaslight her and get mad at her when she said "oh you never mentioned going to Sweden" in a very casual tone. I first saw it before FDS so didn't pay much mind to his subtle abuse, saw it again a few weeks ago and finally clocked it. It's so similar to situations I've had with exes. They want to feel superior to black men, however when a white woman, who they view as their property (even if she is nothing to do with them) gets with a black man they see her as "dirty" and her vagina "stretched out" because although they want to believe they're superior they also believe that every black man is hung like a horse and their shrivelled up shrimp dicks cannot compare. Are you sure 1. is definitely referring to fake tan? Because a lot of Irish guys have a problem if you've had sex with or dated a black guy. I was asked this question by so many of my old Irish bfs. And "gone black" is a common saying for having sex with a black person. Racism is pretty rampant in Ireland, any kind of foreigners are looked upon as lesser in some areas. I rebounded with a tiny dick guy who was mentally and verbally abusive. I honestly don't know what I was thinking! He had NO redeeming qualities. The next guy was huge and although he wasn't HVM (I'm still a recovering pickmeisha) at least the sex was good and he wasn't insecure and abusive! Just a bit of a liar lol

It was 7.5 hours of a phonecall, not texting. I took it as a good sign that we could speak for so long, but I see what you mean.

I have time, because it's lockdown here and I'm not working 🤷🏻 I also didn't think he was LVM at that point. He really played me well until saying he was going underground and blocking me everywhere.

So this week I've been talking to a seemingly really nice HVM. We had a lot in common, he spent 7.5 hours talking to me on the phone a couple of nights ago, 4 hours the following night, had a house, could cook, clean, had a job, we could talk about anything for ages, and were looking for similar things. We were meant to meet today, we'd been texting all day leading up to it. I told him I was on the bus on my way, we chatted a while about how we were both a little nervous but excited and he said …

I've had a guy tell me my breasts were "a bit too big, they're off putting". This was not a guy I was dating, naked around, or anything. Literally a random friend of a friend in a pub who had a gf and decided to tell me my natural breasts were not to his liking. My last bf, after I'd finished a super stressful master's degree, where I'd spend till 1 or 2am on the lab most nights, said he didn't find me as attractive because I'd put on weight. Then got annoyed at me because I told him to leave. H…

My first bf was like this. I used to go about in baggy jeans and wannabe goth t shirts 😂 then after we were together a year or so my style changed to skinny jeans (along with the rest of the world cuz for ages this was all you could get in shops) and he HATED it and said my personality had changed and I wasn't cool anymore! Anyway because I was 16-18 and he was my first bf I had no idea what an arsehole he was. He's since been diagnosed with schizophrenia, doesn't take his meds, messages me from…

My friends loser ex boyfriend called me a slut because his friend who had a gf was hitting on me. I didn't know this guy had a gf so I was just enjoying the attention 🤷🏻
