Yeah, but you can't discount the fact that he is in New York Fucking City, the largest city in the U.S. and one of the largest on the planet. OP has a very valid point. You're GONNA be blowing up there vs. some rural town in S. Dakota, hands down, no matter what the set of variables. It's just sheer numbers. I've experienced this same phenomenon moving to a city with 10x the population of the old small college town I was in. It's great and I'd recommend anybody do it.

Wow, just described my old FL town to a T... a big multitude of dumb shits who are not only dumb but take pride in their anti-intellectualism. Good for you for breaking away! Enjoy your time in ATL, its an awesome city.

Good luck! I used to come up and visit a friend in Charlotte. Uptown is a fun area.

New Orleans on Bourbon Street. Most girls who go there are already looking for a good time. It has treated me very well. Source: I've lived close by for 7 years.

Congratulations, man. You just identified who to cut out of your life. Enjoy the new freedom!

I'm so glad you brought this up. I posted a while back on the importance of knowing your niche with types of girls. It's simplified the game for me exponentially. I've realized after years in the game, that's there just a certain type that responds well to me. I certainly don't rule out other types, but won't actively pursue them nearly as much. Work smarter, not harder.

Currently contemplating this. My two favorite business professors and life mentors are older guys with no wife or kids. Both happy as clams and love what they do, not to mention independently wealthy making six figures.

Thanks for the insight, that was a great read. I have found that having mostly girls for friends has helped out a lot. My closest friend in my city right now is a girl. They are very valuable resources for learning game.

Wow. I was in a similar situation except far more abbreviated. I was in a LTR (and long-distance) from 18-20. It got way too serious way too rapidly, we were talking about marriage plans, etc. I definitely dodged a bullet. She wound up marrying some other guy soon after we broke it off and they got divorced very quickly.

Absolutely, I've even contributed some posts to this sub myself and its done wonders to get my head in the right place... back when I was about 20. Now I'm about to be 26 and I'll catch myself reading this sub on a weekend nite and realize I could actually be out grinding on strange women in a loud dark room, having outcome independent fun with people I genuinely care about, setting up Tinder dates, etc. This post actually motivated me to unsub, even if temporary, to dedicate myself more to prac…

You are spot on. Haha it's funny, I actually cooked for the girl I mentioned in my OP as our first date. First time I ever cooked for a girl ever. I came over to her place, brought a bottle of Cabernet and cooked lasagna from scratch (a surprisingly easy dish, but very tasty and will blow a girl's socks off). Didn't get laid that night but got in some good ol' spooning and Netflixing with some back rubs thrown in... Because why not? As a guy in my mid-20's who is gaming for a relationship, there…

Yup, going binary opened up a whole new world for me. If you take a look around, regardless of whether you are in class, a club, or coffee shop, you'll notice that there are A LOT of 1's walking around. That groups them all together. The 6's are given a "bell curve" up with the "7 through 10's". No more pedestals for any of them. Only one platform flat on the ground, eye level with you.

I love Patrice, he was great on all his Opie and Anthony appearances. So sad that he's gone now. I never heard him describe the "1-100" though... what's it like?

Yeah that's my exact strategy. To use it strictly as a supplement to real life game... Not a replacement. Just another stock/bond in the game portfolio.

I worked as a male cashier in multiple establishments. Some of the girl cashiers were unfriendly twats to customers and still kept their job/got paid just the same as the friendly ones. If the cashier is being nice and flirting.....chances are she's nice. Too many people on this sub automatically shoot down going after the "hired guns" in retail environments. Bad mindset, goes against abundance mentality. I've gotten plenty of numbers that way.

Yeah a lot of people are advising to keep it to 2. It makes sense for someone with my busy schedule. I got stretched way too thin and it was becoming like a 2nd job. I'd much rather just bang 1-2 regularly instead of having to "tend" to 4. I have a date Thursday, so the rebuilding is in the works. Luckily, I've never felt more comfortable around women. It's nice seeing all the hard work I've put in over the years start to pay off.

Yeah, I definitely plan on staying on good terms with all of them. It pays dividends 6 months down the road when they're feeling lonely and craving male attention as per usual with flakey types. Again, great comment, thanks.

Yeah I actually began with just the two. It becomes pretty draining trying to find the extra time for more than 2 girls. And yes, you can allow yourself some disappointment when it falls apart, but show an emotional even flow. For me it all happened around Christmas so I it did suck. However, I bought myself a nice steak, a 6 pack of import beer, and told myself to move on. I was proud of myself for showing emotional control for once. Thanks!

Yes! This has served me well. If you you're too nervous to immediately having limbs touching, at least sit close enough to where the closing distance will be minimal.

I would say "Bang" and/or "Day Bang" by Roosh V. Very non-gimmicky and super practical. "Bang" is kind of an overall guide but mostly focuses on night/club game. I'm somewhat biased because this was the first book that opened my eyes to the world of pickup. It had a memorable section that explained every single move from getting a girl from your couch to in your bed to actual sex. Fantastic for that weird stage for beginners who can get a girl in their apartment and making out... but are kind of…

Yup, switching to the "Would or wouldn't I" binary scale has changed my life. The 1-10 scale is flawed in SO many ways.

"Game" everyone all the time. Strike up conversations in a laid-back non-intrusive manner. Male cashiers, grandma's waiting in line front of you at the post office, the FedEx delivery guy, EVERYONE. Master the art of small talk so you can have an easy-going "common touch" with people. It built up my overall social confidence through the roof. The best self improvements bleed into EVERY aspect of your life, not just meeting women.

Definitely make sure to: Sit next to a girl if at all possible. Definitely introduce yourself immediately and start some small talk... number close if it feels right, every situation is different every girl is unique, go with your gut. Definitely tell her she should study with you a week or so before the 1st exam and use that as a time to # close at the very latest. I used to use class room game a lot before I was too nervous for cold approaches and had pretty good success. Definitely join a clu…

I'm kind of introverted myself. But I also do love my close circle of friends and consider myself a "social" person. It seems like people in college don't understand if you don't want to surround yourself with 70,000 people around you at all times. Eh, I don't get it. Just do you, man, and have fun!

Congrats stud! It's such a great feeling getting that first make out. I would suggest lightly kissing and sucking on her neck while holding the back of her head and explore her waist some, before going into the pants.

I could see how Obama putting his hand on Romney's arm could show some kind of physical dominance as though he was holding him in his place and constraining his movement. The whole standing to the left side of someone is pretty fascinating. I've never heard that before, did the book delve deeper into that?

You're so right. Getting opened by girls was kind of a mindfuck for me when I went the first time. It's like an alternate universe. It's an embarrassment of riches when you think about it. Ridiculously easy opens, tons of different things going on, an overall fun and laid back environment. Sometimes you just don't know where to start because of the sensory overload. How was Coachella by the way? I've always wanted to go but I live in Florida so it's tough. West Coast chicks always make me melt.

Asking them which band they are there to see/where they are from usually works well as an easy opener. But yeah, apparently talking to girls and having fun isn't allowed at festivals according to some of the comments down below. Interesting.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed your visits, but take it as a guy who have lived here for more than a decade there are PLENTY of uppity broads as well. Maybe not so much in Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans etc. (I love those places) But really it's in the small dumpy towns with a population of ~50,000. I live in Pensacola, FL and the scene here is pretty bleak. This place is the Jersey Shore of the Southeast. Plenty of fake tans, horrendous fashion that people think is so cool (camo crocs... yeah I'm not …

Not always. I agree with the OP that making yourself a regular at a decent bar with friendly staff is a huge win. I go to one where a lot of the regulars come in by themselves. The $2 Yuengling pints sweeten the deal even more.

You CAN fix height. Wear lifts inside a pair of dress shoes. Its that simple. You can feel better and more confident for about 15 bucks. I'm 5'10" and I wear them, if I can be a hair under 6 foot then my inner game and confidence go up...

Just out of curiosity are you a white guy in Okinawa, and does that help or hurt with Asian women? From what I hear, its usually the former. Also, I'm established at one bar and becoming a regular at another, obviously a very good date idea, but you say you wait 2-3 dates before taking her, what would you reccomend as a date beforehand?

I recently moved to a completely new town, not knowing a single person and living in an apartment by myself. What I found is you should go to the same bar a good 3-4 times a week at the same time of day even if it's just for one drink. This helps you get in good with the bartenders and unless they are horribly busy they should be open for small talk which will help your banter and conversation skills. Not only did I make genuine friendships with them but they would start to make my drinks really…
