Damn girl, that mask came off real quick didn’t it? So are you saying you’re not anti-racist? I’ve not once mentioned my race or yours. My race seems to bother you more than your race bothers me. All I said was you were privileged to not have to experience the impact of conservative led movements. I never once brought up race or racism to you. You mentioned “white supremacy” before I did. You clearly have an agenda ma’am. And since you want to quote Dworkin, she also said about “right women”: “S…

If you can’t understand, for the love of God, why some women are vehemently anti-conservative then you are privileged my dear. But honestly, you could just pick up a fucking book and figure it out yourself.

This is an oversimplification of an extremely complex issue. Your privilege is showing. There is so much more to conservatism than abortion issues. But like most things in feminism, intersectionality means nothing.

I said on the other post and I’ll say it here. There’s no way a 1st generation African immigrant can speak on US politics through the lens of a black woman in America. Her family has experienced none of the effects of being black in America for the last 400 years. African American women vote in the interests of our community. Elle is not a part of that community. She is of the black diaspora but she is not a Black American. Her elders didn’t experience Jim Crow America, Mass Incarceration, War o…

Exactly. And African Americans culture, ideals, and values and identity was shaped through the lens of slavery. We are 6 to 7 generations removed from Africa. Africa is a continent with 54 countries , besides her being Muslim we have no idea where she’s from and how her own personal values were shaped. How can she speak for all black women in America? “Just because I’m black doesn’t mean I have to vote liberal.” Ma’am you’re not an African American, you can’t speak for us. White supremacy has ki…

I’m not feeling it. They got a black female conservative to “lessen the blow”. It doesn’t. We don’t vibe with Baby Candace. This was gaslighting. As a black woman, I’m disappointed. She’s speaking on political values in America and she’s factually wrong. Google is available 24/7. Where does she stand on CRT? Where does she stand on healthcare? The pandemic? Climate control? She spoke all opinion and stated it as fact. Why didn’t anyone fact check her? Baby Candace can take this shit and go. If y…

This. I can complain all day about mistreatment of black women by black men, but it would never ever be something I’d share with a conservative. Get a therapist or a friend who have shared experiences and can understand you. Do not seek their validation. They have no interest in acknowledging your experiences, they just want to validate their hate.

I bartended for many years part time. It’s so similar to sex work in many ways. You have to look sexy to be tipped. You have to entertain drunk, aggressive men sometimes for HOURS. When I worked at a neighborhood bar I’d have “regulars” who’d want to talk to me about their interests for my entire 8 hour shifts and god forbid if I had to walk away for a second. There were times I had to ask my now exHusband to meet me and walk me out to my car. The money was great but I felt so hurt and disrespec…

Promoting young teens, particularly young women to engage in “harmless” online sex work is in my (possibly hyperbolic) opinion akin to sex trafficking and grooming. It’s not empowerment, it’s trauma.

I 100% agree with you. I think this video is responding to the comment “i only protect women who are mine” and the idea that if a woman is scantily dressed, she’s not worthy of protection. The way I interpreted the second part is protecting the group that is being abused is just basic human decency

I respectfully disagree in that the 2nd man in this video is saying that it is a man’s job to protect women from other men. Which I agree. Other men should speak up and protect women. It’s their job to check their own, yet we’ve taken on the burden. It’s their fucking responsibility. And it’s for men to tell other men to grow the fuck up and protect women. It’s not about celebration. It’s about basic human decency. Protect those who are being abused. Yet, many men, especially black men like to c…

For me, I decided I no longer wanted to be a victim. I was tired of being a victim of how badly someone else was treating me. I could just stop taking their dysfunction personally and match the energy of those around me. There’s no law that says I have to do more. Also, listen to “how to give less fucks” course on the Sanity and Self app. It’s amazing.

I guess I didn’t realize the connotation beyond literally doing everything and anything to get picked. And if we point out like “hey that’s pick-me behavior” then we’re just point out that you’re not necessarily a pick-me but your behavior is. But thank you for the insight and I will keep that in mind for next time

I just bought both of my sons (elementary age) kid Garmin watches. The steps counting thing is nice but I can assign chores and give them stars. It’s just fucking stars and they love it. They want to clean and take care of the pets and help cook. They need to learn how to be functioning adults. I refuse to cater to them beyond being a loving, supportive mother. According to this post, it doesn’t sound like a pet project. Both of them have businesses, one is just more lucrative than the other. The less earning spouse takes a $40k salary but we don’t know if they have other employees working for them, etc. The post says that the less earning spouse actually works harder. So if the higher earning spouse isn’t working as hard, do you get to just sit back and chill because you have more money? I don’t think that’s fair unless you plan to hire help.

She doesn’t mention women. I mention myself in the OP because I am a single mom (divorced) who refuses to let my sons be coddled. It’s my responsibility to raise them to be providers and contributors not only financially but also around the house. And understand the onus is in them to keep the relationship together. They are NOT the prize. Man the fuck up.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. I have never been more disrespected, disregarded, and mistreated by any other group than by black men. Also.. I’m about 100 times hotter at 35 than I was between 18-24. It’s a whole new level of sexy in your mid 30s.

Now I’m a little older than some of you and trust me when I say... a dinner date doesn’t really mean shit especially if he blows $100-$200 on bullshit on a regular basis. A billion times this. I won’t engage with a man who uses the term “female”. I always ask “do you think of your mother as just a female or is she a WOMAN to you?” Most say “yeah, my mom isn’t just a female.” It’s synonymous with “bitch” in my opinion And it’s used by scrotes and pickmeishas.

There’s a difference between him demonstrating that through real actions of love and affection vs. asking “why do you like me?” to analyze his answers. So if you don’t like his answer then what? Are you going to dump him? Like, what does one really do with that information? What if his actions demonstrate that he values you? How do you respond then? Most women aren’t going to do a damn thing with a response they don’t like , they’re going to stay with him and lose power. There’s no real strategy…

Yep! This is so true. He was obsessed with me, literally. Everything went as planned by the FDS handbook. We were in a relationship within a month. Dinners, trips, gifts, the whole 9. About 6 months later, I started noticing little things. Little protest behaviors that draw small wedges in between you and intimacy. I just also want to say that some men (my ex in particular) treated people and animals who had no expectations of him like royalty and the people who did like shit. So just because a man treats other people well, doesn’t mean he will treat YOU well. Yup! Or due to your trauma you will shut down and not open to receive HVM love because you’ll be so busy questioning and analyzing everything to the nth degree. Having hobbies and hitting the gym is great, but it’s just a bandaid and another distraction from really becoming acquainted with yourself. I wish we spoke more of that here. You can play the game but the game will eventually play you. There are a lot of really young women on this forum and they’ll find out as they grow older.

I would never ask a guy “why he likes me”. That almost means that I care. If he’s there and doing what he needs to do, I don’t need the analytical reasons behind it. Words mean nothing, I need actions. That does nothing but make you seem as if you are dependent on his responses and need reassurance. I’m the codependency troll because literally most of the LVW shit we do is out of the fear of rejection and/or abandonment. Somehow manipulating situations and conversations to be picked, to be accepted, to gain sympathy. So I constantly urge women to learn more about it because honestly we can follow the FDS handbook to a T, but if you get in a relationship and don’t heal your codependency, you will never be fulfilled.

I may have commented because I read the entire post. It’s the FDS mindset that we look for in a HVM. Should’ve linked it. But duly noted 😊man up men

Yeah. Then this is an easy fix! Get him out of your system. He will be the reason you will never level up.

Because going to grad school and learning a new language isn’t going to heal your trauma bonds. You have to recognize that you developed a codependent relationship (trust me I know, on and off for 4 years creates this type of bond) you were traumatized by hot and cold, not having your needs met, and probably obsessing over the relationship, completely losing yourself for him There’s no advice to give you to feel better. You have to seek therapy to understand why you would enter a relationship li…

I think that WAS the pep talk. Rejection hurts but it has nothing to do with you personally. You did nothing wrong, and he did you the favor of not stringing you along. So yes, the rejection part sucks but learn how to reject the rejector and realize who TF you are! “You offered a man a million dollars. He didn’t want the million dollars. So what are you going to do about it now? Cry because he doesn’t want a million dollars?” Fuck him and go to the next one.

There’s no quick fix to this. If it’s really just your own perception, you probably do need to speak to someone. I always suggest the Sanity and Self app because it’s cheap and has someone really good “therapy” series about an array of topics. I would look into building your own self esteem. But I would bet money your insecurities are evident in other ways.. and I question any man who sticks around with a woman who knowingly struggles with her self esteem. Insecure men who like to cheat and tria…

I’m divorced. I tell them if they ask. I married young. Here’s the thing, I keep shit to myself out of the pure fact I just don’t offer information about myself. But if asked, I tell the truth. I have nothing to be ashamed of, and neither do you. The issue is to say you’re divorced but then act as if you’re some broken goods. It doesn’t natter. A divorce doesn’t define you.. you define you. And the great thing is you can change that definition whenever the fuck you want! Him: so have you ever be…

He sounds extremely distance avoidant, and has a lot of mommy issues. You will spend your life making excuses for why he doesn’t fulfill you. Your needs will slowly not get met, he has shit to deal with it. And him not wanting you to be around his family is indicative of that shit.. he’s not available to be in a relationship with you because he has yet to work out the toxic one with his family. He could be a HVM somewhere in there but who’s got time to be peeling the layers of an onion? That’s j…

Lmao!!! Just making up any excuse to send a pic. Anything to get you to reciprocate, ugh! I noticed the background was sunny in this pic he sent me. It was raining all day here. We live in the same city. You literally used this as an excuse to send me some random, bad pic on his phone. His face is to the side, and his hand covers half his face. His pics on the app are mostly candid pics or pics someone else took of him. No selfies or anything close up. I’m glad we video chatted. Ugh.

He answered the phone with a bird chest. Then told me to hold on in a high pitched hyena voice while he went to put on a shirt. Then he came back with these little kid chapped ass lips and teeth look like he just ate a bag of hot Cheetos. Like when kids sit there and pick the skin off their lips 🤮 His voice is the epitome of scratching nails against a chalkboard ☹️

Then to be honest as long as you are putting yourself first, honoring your wants and needs, and not letting your age or past deter you then you are technically doing every thing your possibly can to find a HVM. ETA: and waiting for men to prove their worthiness to you!

I’m 35 and I haven’t found a HVM yet but my advice : Heal. Heal your heart, wounds, and any codependency that exists in you. We were born during a time where we watched our mothers become the martyrs for the family. Heal all of that first, because until you do you won’t be able to weed out the LVMs.

Honestly I stopped mentioning it at first but really why should you stop telling people about YOUR HOBBY?! It’s their responsibility not to exploit it. One thing I’ve learned is to no longer suppress me and my feelings for the sake of a desired outcome, especially when it involves a LVM. Just get practice telling guys “no” if they ask you to cook for them. Or completely ignore the statement. I usually do the latter. And if they push, it’s not the guy for me.

So I replied with “when you send me money.” Him: 😂😂😂 oh that’s all it takes? Me: yes, my business provides private chef services and if you’re interested, I’ll have my assistant contact you about scheduling, details, and payment. Him: oh ok cool. Ha he tried it! 😂😂😂😂

Right? Hello?!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 07:42 PM

No. Unblock him and keep a record of his harassment. As long as you have his number, you can find info about him. Google his phone number, you’ll get his info or at least the person who owns the phone line. Then make a police report. It’s illegal to leak nudes. Don’t suffer in silence. Eta: oh you’re a minor too? Oh yeah fuck that! Call the police.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 07:30 PM

Yup! Don’t save any of their numbers. And delete the thread after every conversation. We make no memories, we have no history. So when he texts you again you spend the first 5 minutes trying remember who the fuck he is. Matter of fact, don’t even bother to learn their names. When your worthy to be saved in my phone, that’s when I’ll remember your name. I go on whole dates not knowing their names. For now you’re sir and you. “hello sir!” And “hey you!” 🙋🏽‍♀️😒

Also, do not date men who are within their first year or two of divorce. And make sure they had at least one long term (6+ months) relationship since then. Men do not recover well from divorce.

Yep. I agree 100%. It’s a shame too. We work in the same field and have the same networking circles. He chased me via IG for WEEKS before I even gave him a response. And he still took the immediate fuckboy route. This man is 38 years old... ugh.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 04:34 AM

I agree with you. However I don’t even look at the courting phase as “chasing”. I see it as I say to a man I want XYZ in the man that I’m dating. And X happens to be a man who will plan interesting dates and demonstrate a consistent effort in me. It’s an expectation. I’m not running from that.. so there’s no chase. It’s just what I want. Fuck chasing, me and him are no longer in the same playing field at this point lol

He offered me the Netflix and chill date. I told him that “I’m only interested in men who put more effort into dating. What’s of value that’s easily acquired?” And that’s what he responded with. Eta: I also knew once he offered the Netflix and chill I was going to dump him. This is too much work and he’s not the only guy I’m seeing at the moment.
