The type of man that turns to social media for validation and attention and to brag about what a good husband he is?

No woman should strive to meet, marry and get pregnant with someone in less than a year. I understand that the advice here is telling women not to wait around for their bfs and if they feel like what they want out of life is to get married then they should feel confident to go out and get that for themselves. But it’s important to make it clear that women should be extremely, extremely, extremely wary of the type of man that would propose to them after knowing them for less than a year.

But that’s assuming she’s only staying with you because she feels like she can’t do better atm. If you think that it’s probably not the actual truth and just a projection of your insecurity and/or your own way of being. When a person is in a relationship with you the objective truth is (likely) that they like you the most out of anyone else they know and that they find themselves attracted to you the most. Otherwise, why would they be in a relationship with you?

1) or wouldn’t that show you that she isn’t superficial? 2) or maybe, having done that specific thing in the past, she now knows she doesn’t enjoy it? 3) doesn’t the same go for you if you also had an extensive dating history? Or you could make the argument that as a mom, she would change her lifestyle.

But if that’s true then the same applies for him. Knowing that, he cannot feel like he can have very high standards in that aspect then.

I understand in cases when she’s a lot more experienced than he is. I think it’s fair to not want to date someone with considerably more experience than you because it can be intimidating or it can just feel like you’re two very different kind of people. But if he’s had a few flings himself then the first paragraph could just as easily apply to him as it could her. So in those cases, why would he drive himself to insanity? When he himself isn’t a saint?

It definitely stems from insecurity yet I know men who are able to admit this and still they will not want to let that insecurity go. It seems counterintuitive to me. Just for context, do you and the men you know have a more extensive sexual past than average?

Yikes. You sound well adjusted. I’m sorry your victim complex is ruining your life. Maybe spend less time worrying about what it is people say online and more time figuring out how you can sort yourself out so you don’t have to live with this bitterness. It’s FemaleDatingStrategy, lol. I’m a frequent poster there and I can tell you that subreddit isn’t about waiting around for a perfect man. It’s about knowing your worth, improving your worth and finding a partner who can match what you bring to the table. Your whole last paragraph reads pretty angry to me. I’m not trying to psycho-analyze you, I want to genuinely understand why the existence of that subreddit upsets you.

No woman anywhere is claiming she can magically have kids at any age. The personality aspect matters for both men and women so I fail to see why you bring it up. Women aren’t going to want men who have been sleeping around their whole lives too so again, not sure what your point is. Not sure what you’re mad about at all in the first place?

I wonder what those younger women in that video would say if they were asked the same question today? "Women are in great danger of being dominated by women, being told how to liberate themselves" - she literally predicted the future except she forgot it is the men that have the audacity to dictate other's lives, and not women. Mainstream feminism today is 100% women being told how to liberate themselves by men.

Most people will tell you you are overreacting because most people make excuses for men. There is almost no limit to the amount of shit men are allowed to get away with because they are men. Don't let people gaslight you into having lower standards. It should bother you. It is immature and it is disrespectful towards you. Your feelings are valid.

One interesting lesson in psychology/economics is that costumers are more comforted by higher prices and more suspicious of lower prices. This is because people tend to think of price as a direct reflection of the product's quality. Think about the people who buy brand name over generic, even though it's the exact same product. So one marketing strategy is to price your product high enough that it conveys quality or even luxury. The real value of the item doesn't matter, it's all about its perce…

I've never lived in Japan and I'm not Japanese. All I can do is share my own experience with having dated a few Japanese men in the past. They've all always paid for our dates. Even when I offered to pay, they insisted. One time, this guy excused himself to the bathroom near the end of our date. Turns out that was an excuse for him to go and actually pay the bill which is one of the most gentleman-y things any man I know has ever done to this day. I wonder though, if men are as concerned about finding someone that's a good fit for them or if they just want to date the hottest woman they can. But nobody is ever rejected for no reason. You have to first understand why you were rejected and then work on improving that aspect of yourself. You can either let negative emotions dominate you and control your life or you can dominate them and control your own life. And this goes for anything, not just dating, right?

As a woman from FDS, we agree. This is what FDS preaches - constant self improvement, knowing your worth and what you have to bring to the table and finding a partner that can match or top that. It is in everyone's best interest for everyone to improve themselves and not settle. It's real slim pickings out there for women right now so please, on behalf of all of us, step your game up.

Sexism runs so deep that hurricanes named after women were perceived to be less dangerous than hurricanes named after men and as a result ended up being more harmful. I consider a first holiday dinner with family to be an important relationship milestone Yes! I would never introduce a hook up to my family, how awkward would that be? It's a huge step for me, I literally only introduced one bf to my family and that's the guy I moved in with. Him just showing up there is him making that decision FOR you, which is inconsiderate of your wants/boundaries and so it's pretty disrespectful. OP, the replies you’re getting just go to show how deeply brainwashed women have been to desire marriage seemingly no matter what. It makes me be so disappointed to see so many sisters on here whose main goal seems to be to get married. I want to support every woman in every choice she makes. I just wonder if every woman is critical about her goals. We should all be asking ourselves: do I want to get married because that will truly make me happy? Or because I’ve been told this is what would make…

If you seriously want to claim misogyny isn’t the backbone of all Abrahamic religions (not just Islam as I keep repeating and you keep ignoring) then you are just being dishonest. I’m really happy for you that you that your husband respects you as a woman and treats you the way a woman should be treated. That doesn’t mean that will be the experience of every woman dating a religious man. In fact, just because a man is religious it makes it less likely for him to be HV. Because, again - and you h…

It isn’t about being Islamophobic it’s about the fact that every single religion is misogynistic to some extent and as a woman it really makes 0 sense for you to look for a relationship with a religious or even atheist but conservative man. That’s the type of man who will reduce your worth to traditional gender roles and will not respect you on a basic human level. So all it should take is a serious discussion that lets him know you’ve changed your mind about marriage and that it’s something you are now considering for the near future. Absolutely no HVM would ever hire escorts or any kind of sex workers. The reason for that is because a HVM will have no problem charming just about any woman he wants. HVMs will rightfully be disgusted about sex work - not by sex workers themselves but by the implication of sex work. Never, ever date a man who has had to have paid for sex. That’s a huge, neon red flag something is very wrong there. As for pickmes, the HVMs I know seem to be oddly blind to them at times. Like as a woman it immedi…

In a traditional sense, a wife is nothing but a very, VERY successful prostitute - the one who gets it all without half measure. Poor at her craft indeed is the woman who must trade sex for actual dollars. Exactly. You can claim you’re playing a man when you’re married to a rich or influential man who you have significant power over. Putting a fixed monetary value on sex acts benefits him and fucks you over. Thank you for trying to explain why sexual exploitation is not empowerment.

This is effectively what the sexual experience is for most women. We are built up and left hanging. Yes, 100% true and I agree with the conclusions you’ve drawn from that, latent desire from latent release. However... Women buy into it as well, mistaking the normal ups and downs of a sexual encounter as orgasms. What an odd thing to claim that an adult woman wouldn’t know an orgasm when she has one. Really insulting, too. When I make myself orgasm, it is a once and done deal, I am left satisfied…

I think we should encourage women to not make such big life decisions on fleeting feelings such as love. So the best time to decide about an engagement is when the honeymoon period is definitively over and you can look at the facts and at what you can expect out of a life partnership with that man. And how about we just say a man who is eager to prove his love for you to you and the whole world?

On top of that he needs to be: smart, have well thought out opinions; I could never date a guy who can't think for himself so funny I seriously question whether he's funnier than me constantly working on improving himself as a person and I don't just mean at the gym teaches me things and helps me become a better person myself personable, charming, y…

It’s true though. Him not wanting to get married is obviously a red flag but if your relationship is shitty, marriage isn’t going to save it. Same for it it’s good it isn’t going to improve it. Marriage is just financial insurance, nothing more nothing less.

The fact that some RPW are pressed about our existence is really interesting. You and I aren't going for the same type of man, Penelope. I don't want a captain I can serve. Right, which is why I said I see how a micropenis would be a hindrance. I was talking about size in general because of previous posts we’ve had on here and other comments in this thread which seem to imply that bigger=better
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/10/19 01:45 PM

Bigger dicks don’t make it easier for me to orgasm from penetration. Am I the only one in that boat? I mean I see how a micropenis would make it harder or impossible, but I see women on this sub wanting men with big dicks and I just don’t get it. Not only does it not change anything in terms of feeling, he’s more likely to be shitty at sex because he thinks he can just do nothing because his size will be enough to have you orgasm deliriously. Like uhhhhh, no.

Is it locked in though? I see no reason why a marriage wouldn't fail just as easily as a relationship in which two people have been living together, splitting finances and just sharing a life for a longer period of time. Yes having to divorce is an extra hurdle but that's an extra hurdle against me too, not just him.

Does only dating marriage-oriented men weed out a lot of losers? Also yes. You're right, it is a patriarchal construct and yet even though I myself am unsure I want to get married I would call it a red flag if a man was against it.

I choose my outfit according to the event/season so I don’t really have any go-to’s. There are two requirements for my outfit though. First, that it is revealing and verging on too sexy for the occasion. If the way I dress is going to make him treat me differently, like if he’s going to act sleazy or act like I’m going to be an easy lay, then his misogyny levels are off the charts and that’s not the type of man I’m trying to date. The most important thing for me in a man is that he can think critically. So I always ask for his taste in books/movies and even music because that’s a pretty good indicator if he has the type of intelligence I’m looking for. The vast majority of men fail at that initial stage which saves me time. The next step is, does he make me laugh? But if they were to pass, that’s when I would get into the basics like what does he do? is he ambitious? how much of a misogynist is he? what are his flaws and …

Sex is one of the most important parts about a relationship so it's a very fair criteria on which you can decide if you want to keep seeing someone or not. That being said... I mean, isn't it normal that in this specific situation you did not enjoy the sex at all? I can only speak from experience but I've never slept with a guy on the first date and found it amazing. I don’t know if Tinder/Bumble are a good way of meeting relatively quality men but maybe they’re becoming unavoidable. In any case, mass swiping sounds like a bad strategy. If he can’t spell in his bio he won’t be a Hemingway in your dm’s. If he can’t attract your interest with a bio he won’t be able to do it on a date. I'd try to change the subject by honestly opening up the conversation about why it matters to him so much. Try to discuss how he judges a partner's worth and why. It's a great opportunity to see if the opinions he holds are well thought out or if he's just dumb. If he remembers to get back to it, make a huge mental note of his insistence. And keep using vague terms like a handful. Play dumb like what does he mean, guys you slept with cause that's not that many but guys you kissed hmm well there'…

I mean this in the best possible way: you are a baby. Babies need to go through many firsts and many other experiences to grow up and blossom into the best person they can possibly be. For the moment, you don't owe anyone anything but to figure out who you are. Don't take things so seriously. Don't burden yourself with dead weight before you've even started college. You don't need to worry about being fair to anyone right now. Besides, you've been honest with him, he knows exactly where you stan…

I agree, he doesn't seem that kind. And ultimately isn't that what matters most? It seems like there's this basic lack of empathy on his part. You would expect him to be able to muster more empathy than that for any human at all, let alone the woman he's supposed to love. Why does he think you owe him sex but he doesn't owe you understanding? or to comfort you? The longer you stay with him the more complacent you will become to this type of behavior. The more this will become your new normal. Be…

I never give bjs (tiny jaw) but I get eaten out whenever I ask for it. The key is to have a guy that cares about pleasuring you, ofc, but to also never fake your orgasms. That way if he tries to guilt trip you about him always giving but never receiving you can point out how he’s guaranteed an orgasm from intercourse but you aren’t. That gets them to pipe down. My problem is that when I’ve been with a guy for a while I have to ask for it more than he does it without being prompted to. It’s super…

I have no idea if there’s any biological basis to this, but the come down phase seems to be much more pronounced in men than it is women. I think that’s related to women’s ability to have multiple orgasms. Men orgasm and they are seemingly instantly released of their lust. I know that for me that is very rarely the case. More often than not I’m ready to go again (and again, and again) and my subsequent orgasms get stronger. Whereas for men they get weaker. There comes a certain point when you ca…

You act like it doesn’t affect you. Keep him on his toes and switch it up. Answer back right away after he ignores you at times. Other times ignore him back. Make it so there’s no pattern to it. Maybe you can sometimes excuse yourself by saying things got so busy, or that you were out on a date. It helps if you’re distracting yourself by actually dating several other guys at a time.

You should never continue to date someone when you see red flags. You should never date just for the sake of dating. You should only date if doing so is adding to your life by making you happy. A median is a value at the exact middle of a range. The word you're looking for here is average. You mean to say that the life of an average woman is better than the life of an average man, for a man. Women who don't suffer from self-esteem issues don't care about sleeping with 8/10 looking men.

I think the idea is getting women to work against the harmful behaviors that were socialized in us. Being overly kind, accepting, not setting firm boundaries, etc. I haven't read the book but I imagine that's what they mean by being a bitch - because a woman who stands up for herself and shows self confidence is often called a bitch. Major red flag right there! Also, any man who talks about women in terms of their ethnicity you should stay away from. So many good points in this post. One thing I'd like to add: It's also doubtful that a single man can give you all of what you need. Men generally suck at (or just don't want to) doing the emotional labor required for an intense, genuine and proper emotional connection. All things considered, monogamy doesn't seem like the answer. I discussed the “what if he’s pretty hot” with someone else on here. But basically, even if he’s pretty hot he should’ve dated a wider range than just pretty hot women. I don’t want to feel like he’s dating me for my looks or that he’s shallow. I can see how there might be exceptions (like if he lacks experience), but so far I haven’t personally met any. Women don’t go around telling their guy friends “btw you failed so we’re never going to fuck”. Or are you saying that they should, I can’t tell?

I’m in my early 20s but I only date men in their 30s so I wasn’t thinking age would be the issue but should I turn to men in their 40s instead? I’m surprised that you flaired RP but recognize intimacy is gradually escalated. Isn’t that contradictory?

lol so what’s the privilege? That men want to fuck me? Is it a privilege or do you only see it as one because you think not as many women want to fuck you? And why do you want to fuck all those women anyway, what’s the end goal? Have you ever thought that part out? Or do you think the elation you’ll get for feeling validated as a man will be enough to tide you over for the rest of your life?

Because not everyone is an adulterer. Most probably aren’t. But it’s like you’re worrying about getting a flat tire and you don’t even have a car. Enter a relationship first. Then work at it so no matter what happens you can’t blame yourself for things going wrong. And even if things go wrong you’ll have made an incredible connection with another human being and felt happiness the likes of which you’ll never feel alone. Life isn’t as black and white as it seems at 17. So get out of your comfort …

You want me to explain how to not be an aspie and read social cues? If you’re asking because this is a specific situation you’re in and you don’t know how to handle it I can help. Otherwise just go slower than you think you should, but make it clear you’re interested in her. Imagine how interesting you would be to her if you let it be known that you want to fuck but aren’t desperately pushing for it - that’s guaranteed to be a total 180 change from what she’s getting from other guys.

Yeah like I said in a previous comment it’s a great way for trash to take itself out. The disappointing thing is guys who seemed like they’d be promising or when it turns out they’re all like that.

Women never told men to be themselves. Men told men to be themselves and that will be enough. Look at where men are getting that message from. It’s all the narratives in the media where the ugly male duckling remains an ugly male duckling but gets the beautiful female swan anyway because yayyy he was just perfect the way he was and he just needed to realize that all along! This sort of narrative is never pushed about women, btw. By women expect men to walk on eggshells do you mean women expect m…

Nice assumption but I do play the active role. Sure it isn’t the same because as a woman, the fear of rejection is practically nonexistent partly because men aren’t so picky about timing. It’s just disappointing that men have no love for the game. There’s no fun in smashing our genitals together ASAP but I guess men lack the ability to see that.

Since you looked into my profile, let’s look into yours. In your first post you admit you’re a 17 year old with no experience with girls whatsoever. You will never get real world experience if you poison yourself with the concepts being thrown around here. The people on here have come to these jaded conclusions on our own, after we’ve had our own experiences. But that doesn’t mean that’s how your life has to go. Just go out into the world and find out for yourself.

There are only two things a woman can be for a man: a hole to fuck or a wifey-type to fit into his life and not rock the boat. Looks like introspection won't bring me anywhere I want to be either way.

lol I love your flair why do men assume a friendzoned guy is a guy that just got there too late? she was never going to fuck him if she friendzoned him, no matter the timing friendzoned guys are a different conversation altogether

your answer is endearingly optimistic but optimism can blind you from seeing a person's true nature just a thought

I don't understand your question? I wasn't looking for advice, men who push for sex early on are eliminating themselves as nonviable candidates but you're right, one should always work at being more interesting and fun.

You realize u/we-are-men-with-ven is a woman, right? She's telling you what women like and want but you're utterly unable to recognize that because you would never question the beliefs you hold so dear. So if you're having trouble with women and you were wondering why... wonder no more.

isn't that unrealistic? at the very least you'll want to put your best foot forward when seducing someone so there you go, that's already "game" and what about the people that like to chase? you'll lose them if you lay your cards on the table all at once But it depends if you're aiming to enjoy the chase or if you'd much rather get to the end goal of a relationship, I guess.

Haha, perfectly put. Judging by the replies in this thread, men don't seem to understand that. This could be because the population in this sub leans incel/MGTOW but from my own experiences, less than a handful of all the men I've ever met understand that.

Wait, so in a situation where I reject a guy because the way he acts leads me to believe all he wants is casual sex and I am not interested in that, you suggest I be more interesting and fun to... receive more offers of casual sex I'm not interested in? Or are you saying that if I were more interesting and fun guys wouldn't have a timing problem?

Idk why you or women think men “catcall” Maybe because we experience it? I'm not sure why you went on a catcalling rant, that wasn't the topic. My point with bringing it up is that it's a non-strategy. No woman has ever been catcalled and given out her number. There is no point in catcalling or if there is one, it isn't to get you laid. As for your theory... I feel like it's just you adding more layers to the basic idea that the main thing men want out of a relationship is sex. Is that correct…

Maybe you won't be able to go around fucking bitches left and right if you aren't a Chad, but there are plenty of strategies to get casual sex for okay looking guys. Stop finding excuses for yourself and critically analyze your actions to see what works and what doesn't.

Most men aren't this way in what context? Do you think the only men that aren't this way are just insecure with themselves, but if they'd have the self confidence they'd act in this exact same way?

Lenient or understanding of what? I don't exist to ease men's sexual frustrations. My objective is to get my own needs met so if a man's needs are at odds with mine then no, I won't be lenient or understanding at all.

Well yes you're a sexist who only values women in terms of their fuckability but are you saying that's just you or all men?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 12:57 PM

The only times women complain about a guy not escalating enough it's when it's someone they've known for ages, have been more than clearly sending signals that they're into him but he's just too shy or insecure to do anything about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 12:53 PM

So I guess I should have asked: why do men in general lack the desire to want to delay gratification?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 12:52 PM

What do you mean, the appropriate timing is entirely in women's heads? Men can also enjoy the buildup of sexual tension, can they not? And if you're going to have that sort of self defeated attitude about it, thinking you'll get rejected anyway so might as well fuck it up for yourself, why even try?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 12:51 PM

Why are men so desperate to get laid? Is it really that hard for them?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 12:49 PM

If guy #1 doesn’t like me enough not to make ultimatums he can walk away. People who are that obsessed with the physical act of sex are utterly uninteresting. If guy #2 isn’t going to signal in any way that he’s into me, I will walk away. I love chasing and feeling like I “earned” the guys attention or whatever but there has to be a payout at some point or else it’s just an exercise in frustration. Choosing between two low quality men is really easy. I’ll just reject/ignore both.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/19 10:34 PM

Haha, yeah women are guilty of that too but it doesn't mean they don't have more standards than men on the whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/19 06:07 AM

Here's a groundbreaking idea... maybe being 6'2", athletic, having a job, an apartment and a degree all isn't enough because you're lacking in all those things women actually care about. Like an interesting personality? Intelligence? A sense of humor? An ability to carry a conversation? Charisma? Etc, etc.

What's with the false dichotomy? "Taking a dick in a European night club drunk at 3am" doesn't mean you can't be having culturally enriching experiences during the day.

Everything is delusional bullshit. We all construct our own reality. We are all living our lives according to a narrative of ourselves constructed by ourselves. The key is to do that in a way that actually makes you happy or bring you somewhere. As for the objective truth, does it even matter as long as you're getting the results you want? I would be interested to know how hypoagency is a concept that's useful to you, if you're willing to explain.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/19 07:42 PM
1

I haven't heard hypoagency being discussed outside of manospheres, thus my accusation, but I'm willing to take your word for it. I feel like I understand where you're coming from, but at the same time I feel like you're judging me (and by extension all women) for doing the same thing you (and by extension all men) do. You say men have no reason to "invest" in a relationship without getting sex out of it. I think that's a faulty premise at best, because sex isn't the only benefit men stand to gai…

How is my answer to this question related to my so-called toxic personality? What I said is true whether I had an affair or not, is it not? I realize men get hate boners at the mere thought of crucifying women who don't play by the rules (re: your answer and those below you). But are you not allowing your hate for the type of woman you envision me to be to obscure your logical thinking?

I don’t see what my personal life has to do with anything, but the nature of my affair was entirely like a relationship, it wasn’t just random hookups. I wasn’t saying you should see it as a privilege. OP asked why red pillers expect that women who were “promiscuous” in the past continue to dole out sex, and I answered. If that sounds like hell to you then go out into the world and make connections that bring you personal satisfaction. My answer was in no way targeted to you or trying to tell yo…

Because they feel entitled to it. Because they don’t understand the simple fact that having casual sex and being in a relationship are two different situations that women want different things out of. A woman that has casual sex is probably looking for an ego boost, or she’s just experimenting and seeing how she likes it. It’s all about her and not that much about the other person involved at all. A woman getting into a relationship will want romance, will want to feel like she’s madly in love, …

You’re missing out on a really important fact. I only have a handful of friends who are into K-Pop, but I found out that there is something like a canon for every band. K-Pop fans have these really specific ideas of what an idol’s personality is supposed to be like. I’m sure this is crafted by the band manager/PR, but the fans actually believe that they know what their fave idols are like. So their attraction isn’t purely physical it also stems from this weird K-Pop canon.
