(This is my friends story she typed up, she wanted me to post it on here because she has no account but is a lurker)

Back in the days when I was not assertive AT ALL I was on tinder and I agreed to meet this guy for a date. We had agreed to get food and we had talked about the POSSIBLY of a hookup that night, which I never had any intentions of going through with because I was on my period. When I met him at the train station he told me he had “already eaten” and that we should just watch a movie at my house, aka Netflix and chill, (but my grandad was there so I already knew that was never gonna happen) we got in a cab and he immediately sat in the front seat with the driver and made me sit in the back. He didn’t talk to me the entire journey, he only spoke to the driver about his YouTube channel with 4K subscribers all about soccer. When we arrived at my house he looked at me and said “I don’t have any change” and stuck me with a $12 cab bill. Looking back on this I’ve realised how many little mistakes I made up until this point, but letting him off with paying for his ride to his potential hookups house was the first big one.

Of course after he barged his way in my grandad introduced himself and they had a brief conversation then my grandad went to the basement to chill. We were in the lounge watching a movie. He tried to undress me and I told him “no, stop. It’s that time of the month” like 5 times. He said “oh let’s watch this movie somewhere else, I’m worried your grandad will see us holding hands and get the wrong idea” so I stupidly went along with it. He marched his way up to my room and aggressively sat next to me, I told him “stop I’m on my period!” And he looked at me sooooo angrily and said “well you could have said that before” he then grabbed a box of condoms and said “do we really need to use these” I thought to myself, ‘right okay I’m done’ so I got up and he grabbed me and bit my neck so hard to the point he broke the skin and I could feel his teeth grinding together through my neck, at this point I grabbed him by the ear and dragged him down the stairs out my house and locked the door. Worst date ever. I’m lucky it ended there. Im so glad I’m not this stupid anymore and I’ve learned from my mistakes, despite there being a lot of them.
