I think just because you are friends with someone now, that doesn't mean you should be friends with them for the rest of your life. I think getting one is a good idea. I had one years ago when I decided I didn't want to bring children into this sick world we live in and when I was dating I didn't want any surprises. I've had no health issues at all, nothing is different. I had some pain for a day or two but after that, nothing at all. Since I've given up on dating or ever being married, it doesn't make a different, but it's nice to have just in case.

I think it's because people are not comfortable with those who don't do the same things as most do. I've run into that prejudice in other areas of my life that have nothing to do with MGTOW. From birth, females are held to few if any standards at all. They can do whatever they want with zero consequences and get everything handed to them on a silver platter. I never would. Even without anti-male laws, women will still find a way to make marriage not worth a man's while. I doubt there's anywhere to go. I've moved a few times in my life and have found everywhere has its good and bad about it. I moved to where I am now about 20 years ago and in recent years, it's really gone downhill. In the 80s when I was in junior high/high school, I saw teen girls engage in behavior towards boys a lot worse than that. Did anything happen to them? Of course not. If it was reported, we were told we should be flattered or "she likes you" and that it was sweet. The same behavior from boys towards girls would be sexual harassment. If you're single and have no children, dependents, etc., what you do only impacts you. In this situation, what he is doing impacts others, so I think he should have taken his wife into consideration. Since I stopped dating and trying to find a girlfriend years ago, I find I have a much better life. Seems like chaos and drama follow women everywhere. The best part is you can do it your way without anyone saying otherwise.
