If anything, it goes to show that you can put in the work to make up for your natural lack of ability. Seriously what part of his physical makeup is outstanding (relative to his peers)? He has good (not great) arm strength; everything else is average to below average (especially his mobility which is horrendous). This was his scouting report after college (not high school but at age 22 when you are done growing): Poor build Skinny Lacks great physical stature and strength Lacks mobility and abil…

Brady was not a "Chad"; he was a sixth round draft pick with much room for improvement when it came to the physical abilities needed to play the QB position at the highest level.

Exactly. So ultimately what we need is smaller government. A good start would be getting rid of state recognized marriage all together. That way we also end all this ridiculousness about who and what can get married. Win win.

Who decides what entails a "better" life? I vote for myself for role of person in charge of deciding such things for everyone.

The life of a worthless leach isn't vital to our modern world. Let her work for herself, or let her starve.

Not economical. Spend your early 20s building yourself up instead.

Would you let them go partying on their own? Yes. Doesn't bother me. I'm better than the guys that hit on her so she won't stray. I actually like it when she is out with her friends. Gives me a free Saturday night to play some black ops 3, read comics do whatever. She'll end up at my place at the end of the night and we'll have sex anyway. Thus its a good deal for me; put in no work, still get sex.

Then you don't have an issue with The Red Pill, because that is basically all it is about: "The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men."

Nonsense. First rule of redpill, you don't talk about redpill. Seriously if every guy put in the work to improve themselves it would be tougher to get laid. Who the fuck would want that?

Well, considering I am mentally much "happier" after a great workout than I am after great sex with my hot girlfriend, I would say physical fitness is its own reward.

Nah, maybe you're turned off because she probably has HPV. Or because she pretty much has no standards and will sleep with anything/anyone. Whatever. Fact of the matter is, when you are the one with value, you are in the commanding position and she has to deem herself worthy of your commitment. When you have value, you get to be picky with your deal breakers. You don't get a degree from Harvard to go flip burgers.

Here is my solution to the "Alpha Widow" problem: Work your ass off in the gym, in your job, and social life, and become an Alpha. OK. And when you become an "Alpha", what incentive is there to commit to women whose behavior turns you off? When you get to the top 20%, why settle for sub par women when you yourself are a hot commodity that is desired by many women? Also, 1000 guys? I mean forget that she probably has herpes or some other incurable STD; to rack up a partner count that high would t…

I can buy this, but only for certain women. Namely women who grew up really really poor, the lower 20% poor lets say. I think those women, always surrounded by guys with no dough, could see a guy with some money as "alpha". The vast majority of women however are not in this segment so they got no love for "provider" types.

There was also his strange affinity for Nazi pows: Other evidence emerged revealing not only Patton’s disdain for the Jews in the camps, but an odd admiration for the Nazi prisoners of war under his watch. Under Patton, Nazis prisoners were not only bunked at times with Jewish survivors, but were even allowed to hold positions of authority, despite orders from Eisenhower to “de-Nazify” the camps. “Listen,” Patton told one of his officers of the Nazis, “if you need these men, keep them and don’t …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/16 03:20 PM

A rather interesting story, considering Patton himself expressed anti-semitic views: One answer came in a copy of Gen. George S. Patton’s handwritten journal. In one entry from 1945, Patton, who oversaw the D.P. operations for the United States, seethed after reading Harrison’s findings, which he saw — quite accurately — as an attack on his own command. “Harrison and his ilk believe that the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews who are low…

All men can leave their relationships and instantly be having regular threesomes with 20 year olds and have someone buttplug them in public. Money buys all of that.

It is worth doing since younger women are typically better looking than older women. Also, they tend to have more energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/16 07:35 PM

As they should be. What they accomplished, is not easy to do. When you are older you don't have as many "young" women in the environments you occupy. Thus, you have to be able to play the game more efficiently, which means you need to have more SMV than the vast majority of your competitors.

Its not "my gym". I workout there once a week as a guest of my girlfriend. Its an easy membership and women still are too lazy to even do that bare minimum.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/16 04:31 PM
1

You need to lift even to have "just a little" muscle. Unless you are a genetic freak. Most men (and women) are not. Anyway, I'm about to head over to the "gym". I'll be sure to take note of how many women are NOT there tonight, especially since it's not a pizza Monday.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 11:31 PM
1

I am sure there are some freak women here and there that lift for real. But it isn't the majority. It isn't required to attain the ideal female body that straight men want. Lifting IS required to attain the ideal male body that straight women want.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 09:39 PM
1

Yeah sure, they will pick up a weight here and there. Will "work" their shoulders doing raises with 5 lbs pink dumbbells. Maybe that is what they consider "lifting". Whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 09:10 PM
1

who cares if they need to lift Um, men who want that muscular build that most women find attractive. Being attractive is kind of a big deal when it comes to sexual strategy, the discussion of which is itself kind of big deal on this subreddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 07:25 PM
1

Women don't "need" to lift. Your own people think this. They also think that is the primary purpose of a gym (and of course I agree). That's all that matters, everything else is fluff.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 06:26 PM
1

Highly unlikely, women are generally afraid of heavy weights and prefer light weights and high reps, you know, to get "toned".
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 06:04 PM
2

Like I mentioned here that is simply not the case. Yeah, tonight we will be in south Jamaica, Queens which isn't a hipster neighborhood (though not nearly as bad as it was in the 80s/90s) but the same holds true when we are in the "good" neighborhoods. Women aren't in the gym, Griddy said so herself.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 06:01 PM
2

No, I just call it like I see it. Fear not, I'm working out with my girlfriend at the planet fitness "gym" again tonight and I'll post another field report tomorrow on how women weren't at the gym tonight.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 05:36 PM
1

Not at the same level. Look at my discussion with grid last week; women ain't at the gym and certainly not in the weight room. They are at dance class.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 05:34 PM
3

The truth hurts. Women only think they are working hard. The reality is they have no idea what real work is.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 05:30 PM
4

Utter bullshit. You need like 50% of your diet to be protein. You need to avoid fast carbs (except right after your workout which is the only time you can have them). You need to track mineral nutrients. In short you can't eat "whatever the fuck you want". Any one who thinks this way probably never picked up a weight heavier than 50 lbs.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/16 05:28 PM

If its a commercial, who exactly is making money?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/16 07:50 AM

Haha, men still have the vast majority of money and power. If we wanted it, you'd be back in chains in no time.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/16 12:21 AM
2

In fact a Zumba (cardio) / Pilates (resistance) combo with proper dieting can get most women in the shape they want. No they just expect equal effort in presentation. Men are putting MORE effort into presentation. You don't get that kind of jacked body without lifting heavy weights and eating tons of protein (while limiting carbs). That high intensity exercise takes far more effort than fad dance classes.

I guess. My girlfriend seems to think so. Then again it might just be a black girl thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/16 06:50 PM

I disagree. I have seen articles that say in the current day and age, men spend more time trying to look good. I see this in real world. For example, I work out once a week with my girlfriend at her gym, planet fitness. Yeah that gym, the one with the "no lunks" policy and pizza every Monday, so you would think this would be the CO-ED gym for women to be at. Furthermore, the locations that we mostly go to are either the Astoria branch or the one in Bushwick (so yeah neighborhoods that are now cl…

It can help, but some guys just won't have an "attractive" face even at a very low BF%. Facial hair depends on genetics. Not all guys can grow it evenly. And of course, if you have the ability to grow a lot of facial hair you are also more susceptible to balding at a younger age so there is that trade off. Your body composition is really the only thing you have significant control over.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/16 06:27 PM

Not the ones made for women. Only in such places would the top 1% of men compete for slightly above average women. That's the fantasy.

I guess you didn't watch teenage dramas or tv show or movies catered to women? The male lead is always attractive. The guy she lusts after is always attractive. The guy she ends up with is always attractive. And she's a 5/10 plane Jane. Seems like much work for very little return.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/16 06:13 PM
2

More than half, so what 51%? And over 90% are ripped, so when you say they are what you find attractive, what exactly should guys do other than spend many hours a week in the weight room? You can't really change your face. You can lose the body fat.

And the other option is to try to turn them into plates, however that isn't really fruitful either because he doesn't have the natural confidence, also they will demand commitment before any sex happens. This is what needs to be worked on. Build confidence by using women for what you want and then discarding them when you are bored of them. Also women can demand commitment all they want, but the man is the one holding the cards here. If they won't put out, hey, he's the one that is top 10% for h…

Not the same. Women are "sickened" by sluts because all the casual sex they provide lessens men's need to commit to women. This isn't the case with "alphas" and "betas". Betas aren't making it harder for alphas to get sex.

No stat or analyst is perfect. Ultimately, you can only really tell how well a guy played by actually watching him play. I place bets on a half dozen or so games a week. My Sundays are spent at the sports bar watching all the games; even then I can only really follow three or four matches at a time. Thus, I have to rely on the analysts to fill in the blanks. I'm not looking for perfection when it comes to research, it would be foolish to think such a thing exists. I just need as much quality inf…

There are breaks between rounds. But yes, you are in more constant action. I'll listen to the argument that fighting has the best athletes and I do agree from a pure physical standpoint they are the best. However, the mental aspect of athletics is often downplayed, which is why my pick is QB.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 02:34 AM
2

MMA, boxing, etc are the only things I would put up there with football, however, what sets QB apart is again, how much information he has to interpret and how fast he has to do that. Tom Brady on average gets rid of the ball in about 2.3 seconds. That is how much time you have to survey the field, identify the favorable matchups (is that guy their linebacker on my tight end, is that their #1 corner on my #2 wide receiver), calculate where the ball has to go and how fast it has to get there and …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 02:14 AM
1

Brady had some bad games in recent weeks. Now granted the team has major injury issues, but still he has thrown some game changing interceptions, in the red zone no less.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 02:00 AM
2

That's a bad thing? Being able to rapidly process information under duress and make the right decision and then have the physical ability to execute said decision is the epitome of total athletic ability. Its why the QB is the leader of a team full of peak athletes.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 01:57 AM
2

I don't think QBR is the be all end all, but it generally provides the correct answers. For example, pro football focus has 8 of those 10 top QBR guys in their season top 10, and I do think PFF provide quality information.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 01:54 AM
2

No other sport requires you to process as much information in short amounts of time while constantly being under pressure. And then you get to try to throw the ball at just the right place at just the right time.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 01:49 AM
3

That is true, which is why you have to aim to be a well rounded athlete, like a quarterback (the single hardest position to play in any sport). Of the top ten guys in total QBR this year, six of them are over 30.

RDS, these are RMV traits, not SMV traits. TRPers often confuse the two. Sexual Market Value traits relate solely to your attractiveness to a woman regarding sex, and neither your pocketbook nor your STEMLord degree do it for her. SMV is measured by your efficiency when it comes to getting women to sleep with you. It doesn't matter if its your money or your looks, what matters is the rate at which you exchange things of value for sex. K dot or any celeb has more SMV than you even though you migh…

No it has been said: Be physically fit. That way your partner is aroused when looking at your naked body. Also she loves running her hands all over your back muscles and gluts while you're on top of her in missionary. Also, you can pick her up and try some more adventurous positions; you can't do those if you're weak. Be mentally in control. Know your positions, get her into the spot you want her, and go at it. Being that you are actually in shape, you can last and enjoy things for a while.

Its what TRP are always talking about, frame. Being in control of the situation, being strong and knowing what you want in bed and how you want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/15 03:11 AM

Again, I think it is because much of what makes up "good sex" is being physically fit and being dominant in bed. Those things are the core of TRP.

I can google a handful of sources that say the same damn thing. Bodyfat is detrimental to penis size, both length and girth. Its a blood flow issue that won't go away no matter how much you want to cover your ears to this fact, fatso.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/15 02:12 AM
-2

Even your fellow liberals agree with me here: "for every 35 pounds a man loses, he gains one inch penis length! The reason is you have this extra fat bundle that starts to build up and surrounds the shaft. The penis gets enveloped by these folds of fat. Of course those numbers taper off as you become more fit." Women like strong masculine hands. Ok. Sexual stamina increase from general fitness level increase.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/15 01:55 AM
0

What about the other stuff mentioned? It most certainly has something to do with penis size. If you are fat you have blood flow issues down there. Also, the more physically fit you are the more sexual stamina you have.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/15 01:42 AM

On average a TRP member should be better at fucking that the average human male. TRP heavily stresses physical fitness, having a low body fat percentage, etc. These things directly contribute to how good you are in the sack.

Those others subs cater to people from all walks of life. Advice on TRP is for straight men looking to attract women. Thus, it is more tailored to what men actually need. You could waste countless hours on those other sites, or you could read the red pill 101.

I believe you actually meant /r/fitness and /r/malefashionadvice because those other subs you listed have no subscribers. So by going to TRP you can get info from all those other sites. Yeah, one sub (with the specific set of information that you need) is better than three subs.

You yourself are placing a judgment on them (in this case that they are largely "bitter" towards women). That's your right, but generalizing a subreddit of 100K+ people isn't really much different than when they create general guidelines for dealing with sex and relationships, aside from the differences in scope. Actually it is worse. TRP have clearly stated goals. TBP isn't a counter strategy, so it exists, why? Why does it matter to TBP that TRP don't want women with high partner counts for LT…

Its funny. I'm 34. Also an "engineer". Also from NYC. Also never married, no kids, slept with many women, etc. Also not jealous of anyone. However, I agree with much of TRP strategy when it comes to attracting women. I have been living that kind of life since I was a teenager and it has always worked for me. It is short sighted to dismiss a strategy as inefficient just because you in particular achieved your goals without it. Everyone in that 100K+ user subreddit isn't bitter due to lack of succ…

I believe the major difference here is height. Men don't really care about height in women. The opposite is not true at all. Thus, it is one more thing that most women find attractive that you get to keep forever. If you are 6 feet at 20 you're also 6 feet at 40. Women don't have this advantage because again, men don't care about height.

they're demanding more Yeah sure: After a drunken, dance-filled night in 2011, Veronica, then 20, went home with a really hot frat guy. She'd just broken up with another guy in the frat, and all she wanted was a steamy hookup — instead, she got an asshole with whiskey dick.

Define "slutty." A woman who has sex outside of committed relationships. Because I'm surrounded by men and they don't view a low n count with a single FWB as slutty. So your attempt to scare me into thinking I'll have a hard time finding a mate is futile, but also interesting. Again, I don't care what your social circle has to say on this issue. "Do men look down on women who don't prioritize a relationship at a certain time in her life." And to answer your question for the tenth time: yes, when it comes to evaluating their LTR candidacy. I mean, we the people can have any deal breakers we want right? Well that is mine. You don't like it, well its not like I ordered slutty women stoned to death. You do you, find a guy who doesn't care about your past, if you can.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/15 02:42 PM

Listen toots, you don't know me, and I don't care to learn about you. So lets leave it at that. You want to find a guy that is cool with your slutty past, well it ain't that tough in this era. Depends on the 20yo. Also, the added benefit of the younger woman is that you have more time. You can date her for a while, be engaged for a while, married for a while and then have kids years later. Don't have that luxury with old women.

Some can, some can't. This guy obviously can't. So he needs to come up with a solution to his problem. That is the "secret" to a "happy" life: formulating solutions to problems.

If a family is the case- most 37 year old men would date a woman 25-32 more likely. Whatever. Point is men who can will choose a younger partner over one their age, if family is important. Hell, even if it is not, younger, hotter women are more fun anyways.

To all those saying it is fiction, yeah you are right. However, it is a big budget (for TV) series with well known actors/actresses and great reviews from fans and critics. The people writing/directing/producing the show are people with some influence in the business of TV and they are pushing the message that in that world strength is rewarded and weakness is punished. Because of the popularity of the show, I have to believe on some level many people agree with that view.

Knowledge about the realities of the sexual market place is the first step in resolving this issue. Once men learn that "getting women" is a function of looks, money and status and not "magic" they will become less "bitter" about playing the game.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/15 04:30 AM

Stop eating so much and lift. If calories out>calories in=true lose weight Your first sentence is only part true. High intensity cardio done at the anabolic heart rate zone will burn a substantial amount of calories and combined with strength training and diet control will lead to the body that most women want in a guy. That is the most important part of TRP.

However, we have to make sure such laws are implemented in a way that protects women rather than harming us further. Therefore, only the men involved in any of those activities should be prosecuted. People laugh at PUAs and women actually avoid them, many PUAs have also been exposed as fakes and scammers. This itself can be a good sexual strategy. These women don't have to be perfect 9s and 10s but they have to be fit and have an above average looking face, lets say they at least have to be a 7. In terms of a lot, lets say at least 10 different women a year who are good looking. Would love it if guys talked about some of the requirements for it or what kind of effort it takes. First you want to talk about body composition, and then you want to talk about hulking athletes, and then BMI, and now it's the calories. Its as if the human body is a complex mechanism with no simple one size fits all type answers. Tell me how someone eats at a deficit, and still maintain the same weight? Answer is, they don't. He is around 27 BMI actually. Check your numbers. You know who else is around 190 at 70 inches tall? NFL cornerbacks (you know, the fastest players in the league, along with wide receivers). You want to tell me this guy needs to lose weight? Or him. Or them.

I don't know what you are talking about, however, what I am discussing is "effort" or more accurately, "work". Work and energy expenditure go hand in hand. Benching 340 lbs when you are 170 lbs is doing more work than putting on makeup. I understand what you mean when you mention clothes, makeup and hair; my main disputes are: This isn't the 1950s and men do spend large amounts of time grooming their appearance, as indicated by the article I linked, which despite you disputing because it conveni…

None of those matter as much as exercise (other than diet and really I have also seen data that indicates men eat more protein and less carbs). All the clothes, fake hair, fake nails and skin care in the world won't make an obese woman attractive.

So beautiful women that know they are beautiful and know how to leverage that advantage? Yeah that's most of the top tier women when it comes to looks. Maybe there is some unicorn out there that is stunning and into betas and its good for those betas that she exists for one of them; but TRP tries to operate at some level of efficiency and chasing unicorns isn't an optimal sexual strategy.

I don't get "surprised". See unlike you I actually have a brain and I use it to think long and hard, weighing pros and cons before putting myself into compromising positions. Marriage, especially to a worthless post wall hag, is a total con, so "divorce rape" is not something I have to worry about.

Nothing wrong with being alone. It makes you stronger and builds character. Also, you save a ton of money. There is no "help" to be found because it is not in our best interests to be helpful to others. Take /r/TheRedPill for example. What a hilarious story. All that was needed was the couple being Indian/Asian and the ex being a white frat bro and we would be at critical mass. As usual, marriage proves to be a shitty deal. Feminism is a plain and simple power grab. No different than race baiters, pro lifers, anti lifers, environitwits, or anyone else that identified a wedge issue they can capitalize on. They throw money around to push people to vote left, we throw money around to counter that, politicians on both sides get rich and the cycle continues.

/r/TheRedPill is a sexual strategy for heterosexual men. Thus, the pursuit of sex with women is what will constitute much of the subreddit. It's OK that you don't want to actively pursue sex. It requires a lot of work to increase your SMV. Most men are unwilling to put in this work. Not that simple, admission criteria changes and there are less spots later on, not to mention residency requirements which might screw you over on the credit transfer. /r/PurplePillDebate28/04/15 06:26 AM

An expelled student can easily apply to other schools. And if your response is, "but that expulsion for rape on their record will make it difficult to find another school," I disagree. Irrelevant. The student paid to go to that school, for whatever reason. All universities are not equivalent. Getting kicked out of an IVY and ending up in a community college will in all likely hood impact your future earning potential.

Think of it this way, when a 10 year old attacks another 10 year old on the playground, the elementary school expels him. Not the same issue. In that instance, there is in all likely hood some eyewitness testimony on the "attack". In these "rape" cases, it is all he said she said. Or rather, she said, so he has to go.

so where are human relationships on your list? Somewhere below priority 2. you don't think humans are wired for social connection? Yes. However, the two I mentioned are more important. The first is a "need" and the second borders between "need" and "want". The stuff you mentioned are total "wants".

Rape is a class B violent felony. The list of crimes that are more severe is very small. Dealing with any of those crimes is a thing that is way above the universities pay grade, so they should stand aside.

I am of the opinion that the two most important things when it comes to achieving "happiness" are: Health A "career" that you are proud of.

I think the pendulum is starting to swing in the other direction. False accusations are getting more and more media coverage. People are starting to sympathize more with the accused, and rightfully so. Perfect time for universities to start doing the logical thing, letting criminal justice be handled by the proper authorities (shocking concept, I know).

On the contrary, only a true "TRPer" can ever be happy. Ideally, they live a healthy life free of the medical problems that come from being fat and out of shape. Furthermore, the "abundance mentality" when it comes to women creates a stress free lifestyle. If it doesn't work out with that chick, no worries, plenty of fish in the sea. The focus on career and money provides goals to strive for, which gives one a reason to wake up in the morning. All in all, seems like a happy life.

The university should just do its job and let their currently enrolled students attend the classes that they pay for. It should also stay the hell out of things that have nothing to do with its job. They have no authority when it comes to criminal justice, so they should mind their own business.

Understand the sexual/relationship marketplace and acquire capital. Don't be homeless, it will kill your SMV. Looks, money and status. See above. They are our competitors. Crime is good (as long as you aren't getting arrested). Men in jail means less competition on the streets.

Yes. Off the top of my head I can think of dozen or so Asian man White woman pairings in my social circles. Two things though: I don't know many stereotypical weak Asian men. Most of my social circle are between the ages of 25 - 34. Maybe this is a problem with younger Asian men. I wouldn't know.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 08:48 PM

This is the only explanation why there are more white men who marry asian women than asian men who marry white women. No I think "status" is a big driving factor as well. Also Asian "men" are often meek and shy, supposedly not the case with white guys. I don't know, I have a ton of Asian and white friends and I'm not seeing one group having a major advantage over the other. I see guys with higher SMV have more success than men with lower SMV. You can still get the shot, provided you come up clean. Discuss it with your doctor and see if that's what you need. I'm 33. According to the CDC, men can get the shot through age 26 (though I am not in the demographic that they say should get the shot at such a late age). Also, I believe the vaccine works better the younger you get it, ideally your immune system should finish building the immunity prior to you becoming sexually active. So this might be useful 10 years down the road, but for now…

It's a tenuous connection that can be heavily influenced by the details - condom use, partner safety, how often they're tested, etc. Barrier method contraceptives are not as effective against skin-to-skin transfer STDs such as HPV and Herpes. Not only that, but as I stated before, the Gardisil shot is a vaccine that prevents HPV, so if she has that, she's good to go on all types that cause health problems, as I understand it. Does not protect against all known strains of HPV, let alone unknown s…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 02:36 PM

The other problem can't be tested and will continue to be with you. The other "problem" can be mitigated by not marrying at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 02:00 PM

Why are women lying and hiding parts of their lives in order to save relationships with such "insecure" low confidence men?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:57 PM
1

But to argue that you want partner count on the basis of STD risk doesn't make sense Explain why you think this. Test data doesn't cover all possible strains of HPV. So to play the percentages, I need more information. For example, a woman with clean STD tests and a confirmed zero sex partners is a safer bet than a woman with "clean" STD tests and more than zero sex partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:43 PM
1

Sure, I'll accept that slutty women are not a safe bet when it comes to marriage. However, even long before marriage, they aren't a safe bet when it comes to your health either.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:39 PM

Yawn. This topic so needs to be put out to pasture. As a man of south Asian descent, I have no idea why so many people care about who Asian women are fucking. They aren't all that hot anyways. Nonexistent curves and totally overrated.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:35 PM
3

So for the average to below average Asian man, his options are suck it up with your wife or lead a single life being sad about not having options? Or you know, option 3, swallow TRP, get cut, grow a spine and end up having more "options".
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:30 PM

10%? Yeah right, the number is closer to 50%. Also the divorce rate is about 50%. It is 0% if you are smart enough to not marry. What is harder, abstaining from marriage or abstaining from sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:24 PM
1

I think if we shift this from a "social" issue to a "medical" issue more people would be willing to give up the number. More information in this situation is better than less information.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:14 PM
1

Yeah that is assuming testing can detect everything, which it can't. Thus, test data, last date of intercourse, and overall partner count will give you a more accurate profile to work from than just the previous two, which no doubt are more important but this is your life we are talking about so why shouldn't you get all the information you can?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:10 PM

Sure, however, their uncooperative behavior is detrimental to the "greater good" i.e. keeping the spread of STDs in check.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 01:02 PM
0

I don't think that STDs are the biggest risk Um what? Taking on an incurable disease that can lead to cancer and a slew of other health complications isn't the "biggest risk"? You only get one body, and nothing in this world is more valuable.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/15 12:59 PM
1

You misunderstand me. I am not advocating asking for partner count in lieu of the medical records; I am advocating for asking for the count in ADDITION to the test data. I want as much information as possible to make my assessment. And quite frankly, I find it hilarious that people would be willing to disclose personal medical documentation so easily yet refrain from discussing how many people they have slept with in total.

Doesn't matter. Though "God" might not be real, in the United States at least, our creator given inalienable rights are real, no matter whatever or whomever your creator may be.

because they get proper sexual education in the first world, that is most of the time Nonsense. A dangerously high percentage of women (and men but we are talking about women in this thread) believe oral sex is "safe" sex, that condoms can protect you against all STDs or even that non barrier methods can block any stds. This is the real problem with hook up culture, its a public health hazard.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/15 07:50 PM

Is it wrong that after reading this, no matter how hot and heavy it sounds, as a man I'm more than a little disgusted by these woman. With all due respect, yes. This should not disgust you, rather, this should be refreshing, as all this makes perfect sense. If you can't satisfy your partner AND they have the ability to do better, they will. You can't tell people what they should or shouldn't want. At best you can merely learn how the system works, and then choose to play the game, or not. xoJane isn't exactly some fringe publication. Also, I have no vested interest in ROK and really don't care about anything they have to say. You have probably read more Roosh V than I have. Don't get bitter, just pony up the cash. You'll never be a good feminist until you do.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/15 04:24 AM

You do realize condoms don't prevent all STDs? For example, the risk from skin to skin contact STDs like HPV and Herpes are not mitigated greatly by barrier contraceptives since infected areas might not be covered by the barrier. Neither STD has a cure, and HPV can lead to cancer; furthermore you can't know she is safe because there are types of HPV that can't be tested for until you start getting symptoms, which could take months.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/15 04:17 AM

I agree. Its only "not a big deal" if you can guarantee that her feelings for you are genuine and that she won't cheat. However, there are no guarantees in life, so you can only play the percentages and hope for the best. Overall risk mitigation is key. Thus, I would be more inclined to overlook "the past" if she is willing to be more flexible when it comes to the legal status of our relationship, i.e. since she is a bigger flight risk she shouldn't push for marriage.

Secondly, it doesn't have to be a self-esteem issue, there are lots of misogynistic women out there as well as people who are otherwise assertive about their shitty beliefs. So TRP is giving lots of women what they want. Well then if that is the case who am I to get in the way of female autonomy when it comes to choosing the guys they want to be with.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/15 05:36 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/15 05:32 PM

Do you truly feel there are so many women with that self esteem issue out there? I don't; which is why if TRP's strategy only targeted those women, it would be inefficient and the subreddit would be seen as insignificant.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/15 05:29 PM

It was the "wanting to be a door-mat" to them that I find unhealthy. That is a small percentage of woman, compared to the rather large percentage that want a guy that is "strong and confident". A sexual strategy would not be efficient if it catered to such a small group of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/15 05:10 PM
6

Nonsense. I'd wager that most women would want strong and confident men. For a woman, being with such a man is not self-destructive. It is actually a smart decision for various reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/15 04:53 PM
4

Perhaps not. But considering the size of the subreddit and its ability to influence young men, though that particular advice is not unique to TRP, it still does a better job delivering it than most other subs. Men losing the "game" show up to TRP and learn how important physical and mental strength are. This is a good thing even if the advice isn't original.

Social construction? No I think it is more like a real world woman CEO who thinks that because women in general stink at negotiating a salary they shouldn't even be allowed to try. Let us be real here, she runs the company. If she wanted to, she could pass a directive that everyone is treated fairly during negotiations. I myself am not using a study to come to any conclusion. This really isn't so much about what I think. It is about a woman CEO who says women suck at negotiating for themselves, thus they have to be protected. How much do you want to bet that when the time comes she will negotiate for her own higher salary? Well since I believe most of /r/theredpill would agree that an ideal "red pill man" is: strong (physically and mentally), well dressed, business minded, assertive, confident, and is respected by both his peers and his women. Thus, a /r/thebluepill "man" would be the opposite of this: weak, no fashion sense, dead end career, a pushover and secretly/openly mocked by his friends and girlfriend/wife.

Hell, as a guy I'll even admit that when all other things are equal (they never really are but humor me) I'll take the chick with money over the one that doesn't. I dated an I-banker once, and it was fun to be able to go to the Knicks (when they didn't suck) game and sit courtside.

What is wrong with TRP is that maintaining a sex life for lazy/weak men has gotten even harder, since better competitors have entered the arena. They don't like that. Also, it has gotten harder for women to string men along because men now know their game plan. This is also unacceptable.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 05:20 PM

So you're dodging the question because it is too "hard" and taking a shot at TRP. Ok...

So why do you think women are more "forgiving" when it comes to looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 03:18 PM
1

Incomplete data is mostly useless. We need to figure out why this happens. Also, check out chapter 7 of Dataclysm, a book by one of OKCupid's founders. The rate of return on looks scales differently for men and women even outside the world of online dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 02:50 PM
1

Fifteen or so years ago, I could perhaps believe this to be the case. However, in this day and age I would say every young athlete, both male and female, is too weak minded to deal with constructive criticism. We now live in a world where every kid on the little league team has to get a trophy, regardless of merit and ability. And sadly, this mentality carries on to the big leagues where star players now want to group up on the same team instead of competing against each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 02:32 PM
1

Wouldn't this also suggest that women place more value on things outside of looks, relative to men? I mean if women are messaging average looking guys more frequently than men are messaging average looking women, doesn't that show that men are indeed more "visual".
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 02:13 PM
2

So it seems this just reiterates things we already knew about race and dating. For example, women in general exclude based on race more than men, Asian women really don't like Asian men, black women don't like white men, etc. Black men not liking white women is surprising though, I didn't think that was the case.

The reason I listed entry level salaries and not average salaries is because you are not guaranteed to survive past entry level in those fields. They are performance driven career paths; if you aren't producing you're done. And competition is stiff; anyone anywhere in the world can take your job. Other than that I agree. Trades can be lucrative. I don't see prestige as an issue either. I don't see how slaving for a tech company is seen as more prestigious than running your own small business.

I largely agree with much of what you wrote. There is no denying that on average STEM degrees are a more sure bet when it comes to money you make after college. However, that in itself is just potential. Until you actually get a job and make bank it really doesn't matter that you have a STEM degree. As a sexual strategy, I mostly agree with TRP when it comes to how you can get to being as attractive as possible to women. "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." TRP is a good strategy for most men. Some BP traits would be beneficial in certain situations. Yeah forgive me for being skeptical about a female's analysis on male anatomy and sexual desire. I'm not here to argue, I am just telling it like it is. When my dick is hard, I want to have sex. /r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 09:59 PM

unlawful sexual intercourse We first have to decide that such an event took place. We simply can't say that laws were broken without evidence that proves laws were broken. Even if we have evidence that a rape occurred, we also need evidence that ties the accused to the crime. Yes if a rape happened a person(s) out there is a rapist, but unless the accused is proven to be that person, calling him a rapist is slander, no matter how much you want to believe it is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 09:44 PM
3

Again, it really doesn't matter what you "believe" happened. Objectively speaking a "rapist" is someone who committed the crime of rape. If you have never been convicted of that crime, you simply are not a rapist. End of story.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 09:26 PM

Yes, I am saying that the burden of proof is on the prosecution. Without said proof and a conviction, I simply can't know that a rape occurred (or rather that the victim was definitely raped by the defendant).

Because TRP is a strategy designed to give MEN the best results possible. It isn't designed to take into account women's feelz (though you can argue that being "alpha" is good for women because that is what they "all" want). Men cheating is a good tactic since it shows that they have options and are not putting women on a pedestal. Women cheating is bad for the man being cheated on because it shows that he is doing something seriously wrong since he is being disrespected. The focus will always b…

I can't tell if you're parodying TRP right now. Demanding proof be presented prior to convicting someone of a violent felony is a joke to you? I don't mean you're obligated to call a man a rapist when he's found not guilty, but he might be. I would argue calling a person a "rapist" when they were not found guilty of the crime, is slander.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 07:42 PM
5

Nah, its only rape if you can prove its rape in a court of law. Thus, it really doesn't matter if you feel that its "rape". The only thing that matters is the proof of the absense of consent. Do you have proof? No? Well then stfu, it ain't rape.

The existence of a sexual strategy can definitely be seen as immoral. For example, if you believe that sex is only meant for procreation, most of the advice found on TRP is immoral. On the other hand, if you are ok with casual sex, then you really shouldn't have a problem with RP men wanting to spin plates. All in all, it doesn't matter what other people think is moral or immoral. What matters is how you want to live your life (and the boundaries dictated by the government where you reside).

The defendant in all crimes operates from an advantaged position in general. This is the way the legal system should operate. False accusation has nothing to do with rape. It should be a separate crime. The justice system isn't a toy to be played with. It seems certain people need to learn this, the hard way. The "stigma" against reporting is largely fiction. Either way, if you can't win the case, I would prefer this realization to come early on, before significant resources are wasted.

I have a problem with people not reporting crimes because of "trauma". It opens up a path for holier-than-thou SJWs to step in and muck up the system. The way it works is that when you are the victim of a crime, you report it. Or you sit on it. What doesn't work is sitting on it, building up the courage to do something, and then deciding to speak up much later, when the window for being able to collect useful evidence has closed. If you don't report it immediately, don't expect sympathy later.

Oh yeah? So where are all your social justice warrior posts about how rough short guys have it? I mean take a look at the exposing heightism twitter, it ain't mostly men who are tweeting. By sticking to these unnecessary tactics, by virtue of your "numbers game", it eventually lands you into the arms of the women they were designed for; the women you despise. The AWALTs. Whoa why does TBP think all of TRP despise women that the strategy works on? You have to have something of value to be able to trade for something else of value. If you spend massive amounts of time building your SMV, why would you despise a woman of equally high value who herself has high standards? You put in t…

Awesome. Also, short women who "judge" (ie refuse to date) short men are also hypocrites now. As well as poor women who only date rich guys. Hypocrisy is hypocrisy right?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/15 09:11 PM
4

Yeah the reason you only hear men "judging" women is because those men are straight and don't care about how other men behave because they are not interested in dating men. They are interested in women and as such convey opinions about what they want in women (which for most is a woman that isn't "slutty").
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/15 08:53 PM
2

For sure. I'm not trying to stop you. What exactly do you mean by "judge"? Because all I see here is bitching about the fact that there are a ton of guys who do not want to LTR a slutty woman. If it is ok for one man to not want to marry a loose women, then it is ok for more than one man to feel the same way. And by the way, you can be as "hypocritical" as you want about dating preferences. I mean, should short women only be allowed to be attracted to and date short men? You can't police partner…

Yes truly, because an independent citizen making a "judgement" completely shuts down the person getting judged when it comes to them being able to live their life the way they want. Well, maybe in the third world where "sluts" can be stoned to death, but we lets be real, we aren't talking about that. No, here in the west your opinion (or rather judgement) on my lifestyle or my opinion on your lifestyle, is just that, an opinion. It holds no weight. I can't force you to behave a certain way and y…

TRP is a sexual strategy for straight men. As such, it is about putting men in a position to get the best deal possible. Jealousy and anger are detrimental to the strategy (unless you have the self control to use those emotions to improve your abilities while concealing their existence from other people). All the bitching and complaining is just bad implementation of the strategy and a colossal waste of time and energy.

TRP says SMV is a function of looks, social ability and status. You obviously can't fake looks. You can't fake status long term. You can improve how you perform in social interactions, and yeah, good salesmen do have those abilities. However, how is this selling a less appealing product? When you improve your SMV you aren't telling other people to accept an inferior product, you are listening to what they say they want in a product and then going ahead and building said product.

I don't understand people bringing up that picture. From what I see, that "woman" has a waist to hip ratio between 0.6 and 0.7 (which is what is the ideal even today) and big boobs (also the ideal today).
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/15 05:25 PM
3

Raising SMV is product development. Once a suitable product exists, only then can you negotiate the price. When you buy cars, you figure out the make, model and options you want, then you negotiate a price with the dealer. You can't do the latter if you don't know the former.

So do you think there are many "regular" high SMV alphas who fuck around in with ONS's from clubs or online dating? Or are they a myth and do men prefer to be in monogamous or serial monogamous relationships? Both. I believe very high value guys do want to lock down one very high value woman for the committed LTR. However, I think they also have women on the side to use for fun. You hear all the stories of married NFL and NBA players having women in every city. The Tiger Woods thing is closer to…

Look, I already showed you one source that says diet is the most important thing for gains. Go show me your source that says the opposite. You can't, because its a silly proposition. Just because you work out doesnt mean you can eat whatever you want.

You guys ever hear of google (though personally I use bing)? http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/musclebuilding_essentials.htm Here is the first sentence on that page: "When it comes to packing on pounds of pure, unadulterated muscle, diet is the single most important part of your overall bodybuilding program."

Your past will eventually catch up to you and once it is found out that you made your bf wait while not others......well that won't be a good day. If you consistently don't fuck on the first date, not a deal breaker I guess (can't wait forever though).

I find it funny how people always mention exercise before diet. Diet contributes 70% of the gains. Other than that......fairly decent advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/14 04:31 AM

So the fear of hard work is the issue here? Let me give you the straight dope. Fucking a guy on the first date is not a deal breaker, if she really "doesn't usually do this" (meaning rarely very very rarely like never in her life). Usually fucks on the first date? Maybe a deal breaker, maybe not. Depends on her personality. Usually fucking on the first date but not in this case? Deal breaker.

Right, or maybe they just see some guys as more attractive and want to have sex with them way more than they do other guys that they want to keep around for other reasons. Either way, its a lose-lose proposition, for everyone. No point in investing.

Yeah, that is exactly what the documentary showed. The men are doing their own thing, with the robots, pillows and video games and its a problem. The women shown actually want marriage and family. And show me the numbers where 90% of "young" women say they are uninterested in marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/14 02:34 AM

Why one or the other? Why can't you have both?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/14 01:53 AM

Do you want that sex act? If yes, then drop her. No point in keeping a woman around who you can't be sexually satisfied with. If no, keep her for a bit, but grow indirectly colder towards her. She'll think her refusal is an issue and try to over compensate, hopefully with behavior and acts you actually enjoy.

Well, looking at table 7 on the cdc data someone else posted, in the 20 - 29 age bracket (which is probably where most of TRPs and TBPs user base lies) the median partner count was 5.4 while 22.7% of the sample had about three times that amount or more. Isn't that the gist of the rule; a small percentage of men are scoring with more women than the majority of guys?

We aren't too far from each other. As I stated before, race definitely plays a role, and I do buy your "bad but not too bad boy" angle. However, I think its not only that. White guys are seen by women of all races as higher value than the norm, not just Asians. Other races don't have that same hierarchy in place so the bad boy angle doesn't work as much there, yet, white guys are still favored. Jails are overcrowded because there are too many people convicted of crimes, across the board. Thus, I would want to see less people convicted, overall. What if that meant hardly anyone went to jail? Are you at all aware of how crowded prisons are? We already incarcerate a large percentage of our population when compared to other western nations. Actually, we are probably #1 in the whole world in this regard when you factor in all the youth we throw in jails. I really don't see a lack of criminals to jail as our issue, especially when you factor in the cost to house said "criminals". Let me see this trend start to reverse, and then maybe I will …

I get that. However, why only white guys in these stories then? I mean if clean cut beta white boys get elevated to "bad boy" status, what about black guys and hispanic guys? I never see those stories. Not to mention the bad blood within the different south Asian cultures (an Indian dating a Paki for example would be seen as wrong, etc).
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/14 05:09 AM
5

Were that the case, there would be no Asian/Indian guy, anywhere in the west that is doing better with women than the lowest of the low white guy. I can't see this as the case. Seriously, show me the instance where the white guy was beta and the Indian guy she ended up with was alpha. It definitely was not that scenario in any of those threads.

Would love to see those studies. Seems like very odd conclusions. I mean I know many Asian guys and not one of them is in a situation that dire. They have it worse. I don't know if it is that much worse. Though I can somewhat buy that data if we are only talking online dating. Online dating is a market skewed in a woman's favor so I can see situations were they can get ultra picky. However, I don't think the real world mimics this exactly.

I think the reason why they have low SMV, is because of their race. Indian men are generally shorter, (from what I read have smaller penises.) Generally speaking yeah, the SMV is lower overall. But if you are short your SMV drops because you are short, not because of your race. All other things even, I do believe a tall Indian guy has more SMV than a short white guy. Yeah, in the entire population of white and Indian guys there are more tall guys on the white side, but at the individual level su…

Another thing I don't get is why people think TRP actively "recruits". We had a CMV type thread a while ago where someone asked why he shouldn't go red pill. I believe the general TRP response was - we don't care what you do. Really, why would we want more people in the know. The supply of beautiful young women in the west is probably at an all time low; why would be want the competition for such women to get steeper as more good competitors enter the fray?

I think I have posted on this before, but really, this is no different than typical AF/BB. Woman can't lock down they guy she really wants so she settles for a beta who happens to be brown since culturally those guys are taught to get stable jobs and learn to provide. That is not the issue here. The issue here is about ideally what is acceptable. The answer to that is zero. Of course, the reality of the situation is far from the ideal. However, the goal should remain zero false convictions. It is far more important for innocent people to not go to jail than it is for the guilty to go to jail.

PSA for Red Pillers: You guys gotta stop putting words in other people's mouths, it is disingenuous. Who needs to put words in any mouths. And that if in order to arrest a lot of rapists, several innocent men are thrown in prison, than it's worth it? Basically, if you agree with this sentiment, your values directly conflict with how the justice system in the U.S. was built to function. We, as a nation, believe it is better for hundreds of guilty people to remain free than it is for one innocent person to go to jail. Don't like it, GTFO of the country. FIN.

At this point we have discussed so much random shit that I really don't know where your mind is exactly at. Regardless, this particular "debate" is about the backlash against feminism and our discussion somehow descended into personal shower habits and moderator behavior on another subreddit. Yup, I vote off topic and choose not to engage anymore. Peace out!

Fair enough. What happens if you can't afford to buy prostitutes? I don't know, what happens when you only have enough money to pay either the rent for your apartment or the cost of a new TV? The answer obviously is that you really don't have a choice there. Luxury items are just that; you must live your life within your means. Also, why do you think you'll die before 60? I average about 3.5 hours of sleep a night, I drink, I smoke and a bunch of people in my family have cancer, diabetes or hear…

So, that said, what should a man's plan be for his old age? Yeah if I live to see 60 (I don't think I will) I will most definitely be retired from "the game". So I'd take all the money I saved from not having a wife and kids and spend it on top shelf whiskey and top shelf hookers. At that point, I'd want to live out the rest of my days as best I could. Actually doesn't seem that bad now that I think about it. Do men continue getting sexier and sexier until they're 100? Of course not. Is it wise …

Defending your sub from off topic nonsense (much like this exchange) is not a form of weakness. TRP isn't a debate sub. PPD exists to serve that purpose.

Wow this totally veered off topic real fast. Listen, IDGAF how/when you shower. My point was that RP men are generally not insecure around other guys; body insecurity (or any insecurity for that matter) is seen as a weak trait and there is no room for this weakness in the RP mindset.

No actually I do care. Many of my co-workers go to the gym during lunch. If they came back smelling like shit and I have to work with those guys, we have a fucking problem. It is common etiquette to not go to work smelling like a land fill (unless you work in a land fill).

The "weird" behavior is to not use the locker room.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/14 02:13 PM
6

Yeah right. TRP advocates physical fitness. To accomplish this, you will most likely be spending time in a gym and as a result will be one of the many guys changing clothes in the locker room. If you truly are that insecure, you wouldn't last an hour in that environment.

An omega really shouldn't be expected to be able to lift the kind of girl that would agree to have sex with him. She probably outweighs him by a hundred pounds.

I do find some similarities between TRP and hip-hop culture.

Combine hypergamy and the small ratio of women to men and these are the results. If you are a below average to average guy in China you should instead save up for a plane ticket out of there.

Ideally, I'm for libertarian anarchism. Realistically, I side with "conservatives" on most issues. I think fiscally I am more right wing than the typical conservative; the main difference I have with them is their religious morality showing up in the public space. I don't vote since I live in NYC and candidates sharing similar views to mine can't win here. I guess if you want to say the republican party is the one I support, the thing I would want them to do differently is stop talking about shr…

On a global level though, it's just sexual strategy, and women are free to optimize (i.e. Bitch move, sure. But not betrayal). And as a result men develop counter measures. The game rolls on.

I think looking at race is pointless. Those women aren't marriage material because of racial issues. They aren't a good fit for those guys because one has a sex tape on the web while lying about being a virgin and the other has been with more people and there is an experience imbalance. This is a balance of power issue more than anything; if those guys in those relationships bedded more women over the course of their lives they wouldn't be so insecure as to tolerate the presence of such deceitfu…

There really is no point continuing this. You see a guy wanting something that is very hard to attain and proceed to tell him to give up on trying to get it and to settle. Trying and failing is too much for you to withstand. I see a difficult challenge that can force a guy to evolve and become substantially better than what he was. The potential for failure does not frighten me, especially when I see an opportunity for growth. Our mentalities are incompatible and we will never see eye to eye. FI…

If a true method did exist, there would be far more men in these types of relationships. So you admit a substantial amount of guys would get into that situation if they could. So what does "self reflection" and knowing what they really want have to do with anything? If they had the capital, they would be banging multiple supermodels at the same time. But they don't so instead of actually answering the question that was asked, you get into this condescending spiel about finding yourself and other…

I agree that the average man would pick the former. However this situation isn't about your typical "average man". It is about an "average" man who wants to cross the threshold into territory occupied by very few men. You can't want the things that this guy wants and still remain an "average" man. You most probably need to improve your standing immensely. Wanting something and achieving it are very different things and numbers wise you are most likely to fail. However, for many even the potentia…

I can honestly, without a shadow of a doubt say that I would be thinking the latter. Do you see what I am saying? Not everyone values the same things.

Again, the question isn't about the OP "finding himself". He knows what he wants and quite frankly he doesn't care what YOU think he should do to be happier. His want/need/goal is scoring with multiple attractive women. This is not up for debate. Do you have any advice that can help him achieve his goal? I would have way more respect for the blue pill if they just admitted they don't. Just say something along the lines of "since those are not the kinds of relationships I am looking for I can't g…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/14 08:20 PM

Why do you get to decide that "love" and "friendship" are the path to happiness and not "models and bottles"? In the scenario in question the OP stated what the guy wants; who the hell are you to say no that's wrong, don't want that, you should want this instead?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/14 05:45 PM
0

Yes. You don't get to determine what is or isn't valuable. The "market" decides that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/14 05:38 PM

So basically, people are too stupid to know what they really want? And as such, they shouldn't bother to set goals and work towards achieving them. They should instead spend more time wondering why they want the things they want, instead of putting in the work to get them? Seems like a damn waste of time to me. Also, no one gets to tell me what I want.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/14 05:32 PM

Nonsense. 75K, you're not even living that well, especially in my city. You're a layoff round away from being in a very tough place. 500K, you are basically in the 1% with opportunities to enjoy some of the finest that life has to offer. Unless you are an idiot with your money, you can weather some storms. Life is much better when you don't have to worry about financial security.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/14 05:28 PM

I would say something similar to TRP. It only can state what women find attractive. You actually have to put in the work to become that so you can reap the results.

What makes you qualified to tell a guy what will and won't bring him "happiness"?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/14 02:54 PM

For me, "self improvement" is being "happy" with who I am. When I went to the doctor and found my blood quality is lacking, I put in the work to fix that. In my place of business, when my group losses out on potential revenue because of a missing feature in a product that my team develops, you can be damn sure I am going to do whatever I can to fix that situation. "Happiness" is impossible for me to achieve if I am not progressing forward towards the goals I set for myself. As a result, I am nev…

Yeah I'm not in that field myself but I just saw that as weird choice for low SMV. I mean forget the money, sanitation work is seen as a "manly" profession, with all the lifting they have to do. Also, if you believe everything you see on HBO, you would think they all hang out with notorious gangsters during and after the job. I'd think office admin or data entry clerk or some other equally boring job would be lower on the totem pole. However, I didn't take into account how things are in other co…

Why are garbage men considered low value? From what I understand, the job requires physical fitness. Also, they make around 80K where I live. The profession isn't the epitome of desirability, but I think there are worse jobs to have.

When I was "blue pill" on average I found myself in longer running relationships. However, looking back, it wasn't time well spent since I was always putting their wants and needs well ahead of my own. Nowadays, I will cut and run the moment my best interests aren't being met so for the last eight or so years I have been in a bunch of very short term relationships. My "strategy" predates TRP and Reddit in general but it is basically the same thing. I do consider short bursts of "happiness" bette…

Why the hell is this course material for a CS class? Every minute you are wasting here is a minute you could be improving how good you are with data structures and algorithms that handle big data (or network programming, operating systems, languages, discrete math, random signals or the myriad of other topics that actually matter).

No. Any criticism thrown at the industry is drowned out by the billions consuming the products. As such, all those groups against it are ultimately powerless and amount to nothing.

Ok so this will sound like a weird thing to say but, take a measure of your wrist and ankle. If they are 7 and 9 inches plus respectively, you might stand to add some weight. Get more calories into your diet, eat cleaner and add some high intensity strength training to your activities.

Those that encourage or enable bad behavior are partially responsible for that behavior. So should a significant chunk of the entertainment industry be held accountable? Because you know, looking at the hip-hop lifestyle that many artists promote, it seems very RP to me. That's just one example.

I think the bigger issue here is the fact that most of the guys have wives. Why the hell would you get married if your net worth is in the eight to nine figure range (to a normal non celebrity woman at that)?! For as smart as these guys are when it comes to making money, they sure do take on some terrible liabilities with little to no ROI.

Example one: grab her hair, pull her head close to your lips, and whisper, "Tell me how much you want me." HAHA. I bet most of the people bitching about consent would think you had already crossed the line at that point. You are correct. Though the right says they are about smaller government, the reality is that when they have power, they spend enormous amounts on "defense". Realistically the current "republican" party is splintered into different groups that hold different beliefs on how big the role of government should be. I believe democrats are a bit more unified on this front.

In the U.S., which is where most of TRP live, the left is associated with bigger government while the right is known to want smaller government.

If you are exceptional, life on the left side is better. There is a great divide between the leaders of communist/socialist regimes and the populace they ruled over with an iron fist. However, in theory, living in a country without a strong centralized government would give a typical person more control over how their life turns out since they aren't slaving away to keep feeding the beast. I believe TRP exists to give guys a chance in a world where there is a vast divide between the haves and ha…
