You need to reword the above incoherent jumble. Although it sounds like identity politics mumbo jumbo. There are problems that need to be solved.... white men created blah blah is not solving anything it is some mumbo jumbo identity politics bull that is well suited to a feminist sub reddit not any place where people actually want to use science and reason to solve real problems.

No incel has murdered as they want sex. Their manifestos mention things snap the magic dragon and Martin Luther King
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/06/20 09:55 PM
2

Read her manifesto yes the sex Yes of course she had a personalised individual reason, which any sane person can see, but applying feminism 101 logic, that doesn't matter, that manifesto sex etc explains it all so yes her actions are due to femceldom... see how dumb feminism is as a social movement now? Applies idealogy to everything instead of looking at facts

Solanas, influential feminist tried to kill Andy Warhol... she is not a random nut, she is feminism and her work is important to feminism. Incels haven't killed anyone due to misogny either... those cases are bogus... the manifestos mentioned snappy the dragon and Martin Luther King.... so is MLK to blame? Yet one mention of women and feminists are all over it, conveniently forgetting about Snappy the Dragon or MLK... and dont forget they try and remove themselves from Soalans link saying she wa…

This is a good example of feminism is stupid and ineffective because it is an idealogy Firstly incel violence things is bullshit. If by some stretch we can link some shootings to incels in the USA over 70 children shoot people a year, more 3 year old children in American or even cows (yes cows) in a month have killed people than incels. Anyway, why is feminism stupid... well its using patriarchy toxic masculinity and all sorts of dumb things to explain and "fix" the problem. But as with any ideo…

Right so the right is nazism? but the left isn't Mao or Stalin? All news is biased, the difference between an identity politics ideologue and a non identity poltics person on the left (now rare) or the right, is that we are not scared to click on a Fox News link or CNN or any other news outlet. Your silly caricatures of news outlets and people like Candace Owens are symptomatic of your identity politics. and yes it is about sexual function. Circumsied men dont have gliding motion. Foreskin is not just MORE pleasure, it is DIFFERENT pleasure, it has different types of nerves that give different pleasurable sensations that a man without a foreskin won't feel as he simply does not have those types of nerve endings... gliding motion is a different type of sexual pleasure... So comment about not affecting sexual pleasure is absurd. It also has 20,000 never endings... but not only 20,000 nerve endings…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s454Ay_SgWM That makes no sense... then why have any laws at all for children? Can I tattoo my child? Can I circumcise my dog? Can I cut off his ear lobes? Of course it harms the child. The foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis, it remarkably reduces the pleasure of the penis... yes penis still works (to some extent) but greatly reduces pleasure... it is also a disability, a circumcised man has to use lubrication to masturbate and there are things he ca…

Ur Turkish? Muslim? Circumcision isn't islamic. It is in a few Hadith just as FGM is loosely. Hadiths are very cultural just as thousands are not practiced, it goes with the culture. For example Islam is pro abortion and pro contraception, simply because that is culturally right. Mainstream islam is extremely anti FGM, but again that is just because of culture says FGM is bad... it is pro circumcision as culture used to say circumcisoin is good... so those Hadiths are taken to be true... if cicu…

With most circumcision your penis will work in the sense it will ejaculate... just as if I cut off your finger tips, you hands will still work. Some things won't work, e.g. most circumcised men cant masturbate (or have foreplay) without lubricaton... that is literally a disability caused by circumcision... also there is many foreplah things in sex they cant do as a result Also circumcised men usually have hair on their penis, which is unnatural these are all if your circumcision went "well" if y…

I will point out that in the west, this is the opposite... everyone wants a girl... men and women... adoption also favours girls, and as IVF kicks off this will only get worse. I dont disagree with this, but mental health is not why a lot of men kill themselves. Veterans 22 suicides a day... If veterans are coming home with two legs blown up, cant get health care, didnt get proper counselling, and no housing.... well I suppose mental health is one factor in why they killed themselves, but its not the main one lol. If you want to fix the issue, fix the sending veterans to fight in unnecessary wars, make sure they are protected, give them housing, counselling etc.... lol…

Ive seen in documentaries politicians saying that they reverse votes on issues that everyone wants just because 2 people phone from the NRA... they said …

Heres an entire speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v53nd9iBing What passion! Dude some of the best MRA's are women. To me all of the best anti feminsts are women. In the anti circumcison/MGM movement, some of the most dedicated, tireless, and committed activists are women. Check out Lisa Britton on twitter: u/LisaBritton She tirelessly defends boys and men. Feminism doesn't represent women.

This is the awful side off feminism and is why it is such an utterly ineffective social movement on dealing with issues like this (it is great at helping VICTIMS after the fact though and creating shelters, books sales and making 5% feminists very rich but not STOPPING offences).... Blaming misgony and patriarchy on everything. So instead of finding the real cause of issues and identifying socioeconomic and psychological issues which we can then use to radically change society and almost eradica…

The advantge of internalised masonry is it would force feminists to accept minsandy. Disdavnatge is are we going to their level? Its a stupid term, and equating things with misogany when they are not is feminism problem (and why they cant solve issues but can build shelters for victims AFTER they have become victims is because they cant work out root cause) Terms are immortant, star saying patricahy mythology from now one, never say patriachy

haha yeah labels are confusing... red pill and red pill women are confusing each other... cos I heard a RP guy is exactly who a RP woman would NOT want... also confusing from the name, the red pill is a movie from a feminist who made a movie to expose MRAs about how bad and misgonystic they were... she interviews them over several years and then actually realises how bad feminism is and rejects it........ so to me Im confused if RPW is that or not, it seems its a few of those women, but generall…

For pay gap, just start with the obvious.... if women were 20% cheaper to hire, why on earth would anyone hire women? These are companies who literally use child and slave labour as long as they can get away with it (as long as they can control the public backlash), they also outsource to other countries.... your telling me they could have just save 20% (more when consider benefits and taxes e..g. national insurance in UK) by just hiring women..... that would be amazing to for PR

Personally I would completely move away from these discussions. Its high effort, low results. Spend the 20 minutes to instead write a letter. e.g. see this thread. Use the data to write a letter and email it to twenty schools. Thats just an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/UnpopularFacts/comments/ght5dj/teachers_mark_girls_higher_for_identical_work_to/ or cross post good threads to try and get them better exposure in obscure and also mainstream Reddits that are none MRA. https://www.reddit.com/…

Gender egalatrianism or even most sensible types of MRA are the answer. There are some sensible voices in feminism, e.g. Christina Hoff Summers, but they don't consider her feminist, so if there is a chance. Some progress is being made to redefine gender equality to also mean me... so there is progress being made to stop the gender wars (mainly coming from the feminist side, certainly with respect to laws etc)

It means there's no point saying this is real feminism is about equality, if that feminism isn't doing anything. Here is real feminism: There was a proposal at Simon Fraser University (near Vancouver) to open up a men's centre on campus to address issues like suicide, drug/alcohol addiction, and negative stereotypes. The women's centre, which already existed, opposed this. They argued that a men's centre is not needed because the men's centre is already "everywhere else" (even though those issue…

Mainstream feminism that create the laws and powers sadly is not. Yes, they did. Its a start though, I also think the report has too much feminist language probably to pander to them and stop them complaining or maybe, even worse, if they were involved in the report... its got plenty of good coments though. Tonnes actually. I'll put it on the OP, maybe if people highlight statements that are not good e..g like above. And yes, this is why more MRAs are needed to form a powerful lobby group, just as feminist would be involved in reports like this.... also the mo…

I know, so this is where we need more mens advocates, highlight these things, correcting them and contributing to the reports. The more mens groups that form the more they will do this.I do think some of the feminists friendly language is to stop the backlash too... so we need to be as powerful as they are Also all this feminist bullshit on campus is literally due to a tiny minor of very loud feminists. Most people just acquesice and go along with it. Thats how absurd shit in campus and educatio…

There is loads of places e.g. antifeminism, feminism stops when (to highight hypocrisy and back tracking) Proposal 2: Ban any woman type rants... basically this is very rare anyway... but see above, …

Now this is changing, which is great news. But before that. I want to make a post about this later in more detail, but quickly, the defeatist attitude on forums like here is unnecessary and also misplaced. Much of this feminists law imbalance where only women are included EVEN in things men face way worse in is simply due to economic drives pushing feminists to be able to push their agenda (yeah we call it gynocentrism, and male disposability, yes thats true but really its just economics and pol…

I hope someone can give you an answer hear... basically there were many movements, maybe some did, but most didn't. Why are playing repression olympics going back thousands of years and in countries not relevant to you? We don't need to gender 99% of things. 11.2 Is it feminism’s job to address men’s issues? Can’t feminism be about women? If feminism is a movement for gender equality (especially the movement for gender equality), which it is very often promoted as, then yes, it absolutely is feminism’s job to address men’s issues. Feminism doesn’t have to be that. It could instead be a movement for women, in which case it wouldn’t have to do anything for men. But feminism could no longer be promoted as “just another word for gender equality”, and th…

PART 2: FEMINISM ACTUALLY PROMOTES GENDER NORMS AND TRADITIONALISM 11.4 How do some feminists reinforce aspects of gender traditionalism? One of the biggest issues in feminism is “violence against women”. We have inherited from gender traditionalism (and perhaps biology) a strong protective attitude towards women, and that is a major reason why we’re conscious of and attentive to women’s issues but not men’s. Feminism is seen as a rejection of gender roles and in many ways it is, but the elevation of women’s safety and well-being to an almost sacred status within feminism (e.g., “we must end violence against women” as if violence matters less when it happens to men) fits in well with traditionali…

I understand the sympathy towards victims, but I also lean towards they should have to go to court. There is a reason why some feminists oddly do actually show some support of talking about male suicide which is very odd, as they actively suppress most other male issues (see list at end). Sadly the reason for the support is not good, it is because male suicide fits into one of their narratives I,e, toxic masculinity, gender roles, and how feminism can help men. That is the only reason. However, there is a group of feminists also who want the discussion on male suicide to end, to not gender the…

Thanks, I will also add focusing on the low effort/ sometimes medium effort high yield work is also psychologically very rewarding as you end up seeing visible results articles get changed, graphics changed, things mentioned, articles written etc.. This motivates you to work harder. Now compare this to trying to argue with a feminists - you will just end up dismayed. Leave Karen Straughan and Christina Hoff Sommers or Sydney Watson to debunk the feminists, they are extremely competent in this go…

Not sute what came about of this, but boy friendly approaches in this school saw dramatic raise in boys AND girls performance, and gender gap dissappeared: http://www.ascd.org/publications/educational-leadership/sept06/vol64/num01/Teaching-to-the-Minds-of-Boys.aspx

These stats are SHOCKING: https://www.aei.org/carpe-diem/chart-of-the-day-for-every-100-girls-women/ (education focused) https://www.scribd.com/document/440767184/For-Every-100-Girls (general) it is a scandal that it I widely perceived almost universally that society is sexist towards women. Even Bill gates and Melinda Gates are saying, in every single country in the world it is harder to be female. Yes thats true! I find feminism (and a lot of things) sometimes go so absurd funny is the only way I can describe it. Like how do you make satire out of this or jokes? The pun is the actions. The joke is the actual actions... Of I just added, Mens Lib is an example of a place feminist controlled and overseen

I appreciate what you are saying. I used to think, back when I was a feminist, EXACTLY like you...If the stats that you were saying were true, and the questions being asked were true then 100% I agree with you. However, those stats simply aren't true and the data shows that those attitudes are simply not true! They are widely reported (intentionally) in media and yes it happens so they are thought of as common when they are not. Here Christina Hoff Summers, breaks it down in a 3 mins: https://ww…

I think some operation is good too, but I don't know what the data says. t a school did try a boy friendly approach to learning, boys performance shot up and so dd girls, and the gender gap went. Thanks for a more measured approach. However, I disagree. I do NOT oppose her presence at all. It is GOOD she came, and it would be good if more women and feminists in particular came. What I meant was, listen to her speech, she was advocating spying and watching over all mens spaces and that they can operate only with feminist approval.... feminists spaces however, should be under no such restriction. She also opposed a mens centre being built. I say menslib needs to watch out as that is exactl…

Some comments from OP: So when men fail to exhibit benevolent sexism towards women, they are viewed as no different than men who display overt hostile sexism towards women. A real world example might be a man who publicly disagrees with "believe women" (benevolent sexism,)and instead suggests we should have a full investigation and due process, including a chance for the accused to defend themselves. Such a man would often be seen as just as bad or as misogynistic as one who called all women "sl…

Yes I feel you, I hope those guys can sort it out, and also things get easier for you. There is a sound argument for giving pregnant women free medication, but yes sometimes men are neglected. Yes that is something that needs to be addressed. There is increasing focus on it in society which is good. The main issue is men themselves, as you pointed out in some examples and how do you spread this message to society. Also think about what moments in life would you consider suicide (I mean I would never do it, but what moments could? Well homelessness might... 9/10 men are homeless. Drinks and drugs might, men are more likely to do these. War might. 22 vets commit suicide per day and the …

The rebuttal is what about the misfortunate 5000 - 94% of all work place deaths in USA circa 5000 per year are men. This reflects that men disproportionally, and in some industries 100% entirely, do the most dangerous, dirty, thankless jobs. You cannot talk about gender equality in work by only discussing the wage gap (which is a myth) without talking about other issues

The left just did something, but then blamed the right for it i.e. not only played the victim, it was they that did it. Im not political, so im not taking it quite as a left right thing, more so the hypocrisy of the left when ti came to MeToo Kavanaugh vs Biden. Also exposing it was never about women, feminism is about power and control, so they pretended to be pro women when it suited one agenda i.e. get rid of Kavanaugh, now don't give a shit about women cos it suits their agenda

Yes like for example in the country mentioned above (the UK), people opposing the switching away from coursework towards instead more exams. Luckily it did go through. Not sure I like the new system though in terms of being the best, although it is probably a bit better for boys than the old was I will add, and this is important, in light of the study above, the narrative normally peddled for all of these years to explain the gender gap has been only end of year exams is good for boys/ bad for g…

I will add, they have said that end of year only exams is good for boys/ bad for girls, and coursework favours girls a lot.. this is a long held fact and the rationale was that girls work nice and steady while boys are lazy with coursework but the exam things makes them competitive. They also said stuff like poor girls they have low self esteem about exams. Well this clearly proves one reason why coursework favours girls... they get more marks!!. I got this a lot when I was a kid, and I will be …

Are you one of the grievance study peeps. I salute you. You guys are amaizing. How come you guys don't make your own reddit? It could be a place of proper discussion rather than the problem we have now... e.g. feminism reddit is an absolute joke of censorship, it censors other feminists and as a result has no intellectual credibility whatsoever as nothing posted has been tested... any opposition is deleted. Excellent post. First thing is I reject toxic masculinity as being the cause of mens suicide. It is the situations. I describe more in the quoted text. If women had the same situations they would also commit suicide. E.g. when do you commit suicide? In divorces, homelessness (if more women were homeless more would kill themselves) family losses, military (e.g. 22 vets kill themselves a day, so if women were vets they would)... I will mention, feminist have little interest in breaking down actual…

Thanks for the insight. I was wondering how the radically different culture of Japan would make a difference to this issue, so good wo get some differing views. Thanks for your insightful answer. Oh yeah I don't disagree at all, feminism didn't make all this stuff it just selectively kept things and changed others to its benefit and is now blocking men from gaining rights. Thats why feminism cant solve the problem in e.g. Saudia as it would keep the privelage but get rid of the bad things e.g. feminism would keep the rule that all money a woman earns is solely hers and not for her husband or family while her husband is legally obliged to provide for her…

Absolutely we need to completely refocus our justice system on rehabilitation. Our current system just does not work. Thanks for your reply. In a nutshell, there are many ways to promote gender equality men and womens rights. Sadly feminism is not one of them, as it has been corrupted too much.. I was a feminist for four years until I work up. Video below by Karen Straughan, excellent Q&A, several feminists ask that exact question too, why cant I be a feminist and.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaO3THnOHhA As for not all feminists/true feminism, let me copy Karen Straughan (lol Karen), its a bit rant, but …

Sheer hypocrisy, for a movement that wants to get rid of so called harmful gender stereotypes, they viciously promote them at every opportunity, even when no one wants to gender them! (example below). They don't just gender things at the spoken level, the do so at the legal and policy level. Covid is gendered, air conditions is gendered wtf? Life expectancy gap.... erm no thats not gendered... but women are discmrinated in health care. Here feminist trying desperately to gender the current domes…

Oh one thing I didn't mention, in a single hospital in the UK city of Birmingham they get several hundred circumcision complications a year. They get 1 kid month at least in ICU or on life support... thats ONE hsopital in a country where circumcision rates are low. Google it, the hospital released the data Loads of complications men don't know about that they have metal stenosis s a common one - messed up wee hole as wee hole now exposed and rubs on clothes

It would be worthwhile making a thread about this from someone who knows about the specific issues e.g. the cant apply to university because its 6 month service etc, waste of time, what if you have a business as ayoung entrepnaur, family holidays etc.

Yeah I know, its a gynocentric approach, I don't agree with it. I think its different in USA where you just prosecute crimes but in a lot Europe you only prosecute an individual case of there is a public interest to do so, which does actually have benefits as it means many illegal things are not prosecuted because it make sense... however, gynocentric societies this is awful for men.
/r/AntiFeminists02/05/20 06:05 AM

Well the rationale is don't prosecute false accusers as it puts off those who ar victims. I do understand this to some degree. However, it has gotten to the point know where false allegations are ramapant and being systematically applied... heck even criminal gangs are doing false accusations and getting pimped out to do so for the financial compensation incentives. This video by Sydney Watson is great in covering the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBZoJ7twQkE

Also you would know being a Finn, I can imagine there would be many men that would love conxriciption and the culture behind it, there will also be many who are pressured into liking it, or too afraid to say anything bad... kind of like how everyone just drinks in university but so many people aren't into drinking culture.... then those that don't like it

Watch the video, yet they spend their time on trying to create a gender neutral pronoun but don't address the issue that men alone are conscripted. Dude calm down, feminists are the problem not women. Not even slightly. In fact a lot of women care a hell of a lot more about men then the other way round. And feminism isn't really even pro woman, its pro-feminist and anti-anything not feminism. Feminism has done women massive harm (and a plenty of good too). Part of why feminism exists is because it is an industry - female journalists, authors, media, university - they are doing their stuff to further feminism, not even to further women. Wome…

We agree exactly on this. It is called gynocentrism, which shows why men in power makes no difference to everyday men, but do actually help women and children. Also the gender empathy gap. You wouldn't want to get cut in later life. The only people who do are US men due to cultural shaming, and people with a problem... which is rare. Men who do get cut (and had nothing wrong with their dick) are often horrified by the effects post cut. If man had nothing wring than many will like being cut

Which is too many considering the procedure is unnecessary. A few hundred people dying a year from appendix surgeries or many thousands for driving is fine... they are needed (in the case of driving it isn't needed but benefits outweigh risks)... circ even 1 death is too many. Yes for the man. For the woman, its harder to say. More comfortable certainly. Generally speaking, women in countries who cut like cut dicks cos thats what they are used to, women in uncut like uncut.... a uncut guy tends to take shorter strokes and they don't need lube. If you need lube its probably due to circumcision... think about it... the most important think for biology/evoloution of human race, you think nature would fuck it up and mean sex without Lube isn't possible

for you as a woman, circ penis will dry your out more, data sugests may lead to less HIV transmission and cervical cancer... but thats on a large scale population... as an individual will make no difference. It is the same in the sense that it is the male and female equivalent. Male rape is still rape as it is the equivalent. Foreskin is the most sensitive and pleasurable part of your penis... not just more pleasure but different pleasure, better sensations, thats because it contains recpeptors such as temperature, pressure, vibration that the glans doesn't have so you will never experience that without a foreskin.... obviously circ men won't know what they're missing nothing to compare it too.. like life without finger tips... you can …

Sorry what happened. Please don't apologiise, why would this offend anyone? Women are very welcome in MRA. in fact some of the best MRAs and equality etc and leading forces are women. Cassie Jaye, Karen Straughan, Sydney Watson, Helen Pluckrose. Karen Straughan is my favourite MRA of all time. Helen Pluckrose is amazing too. I get what your saying, and that has been your experience. But its not resulting in actual violence of women to other women or men on the whole compared to men. Also were talking huge groups now, not individuals... Those feelings you describe of women enjoying hurting men are extremely common among women and at the same time they have utter horror at any man defending himself... its do with gynocentrisicm. The straw man is your argument. I am not saying you, I said feminists. If you are a feminist (or are not), then you saying yeah but I don't believe that is irrelevant. And to call feminism anti man is not even entirely accurate... feminism is anti-any one who is not a feminist - they are brutal to other women and other feminists who deviate slightly from the party lin…

That is absurd, write to them formally when you can. That is not a debate. It is echo chamber. Why even debate? They should have just done a one way lecture to the audience... which is fine, its transparent... but to disguise this as a debate. Consider living the details so we can all write to them... up to you of course. At the very least write a calm letter to headteachers, etc

I mean I discovered Jordan Peterson, because he was so hated. I mean otherwise I honestly wouldn't give a guy like that 2 minutes of my time... I think you can just be pro issues (not even MRA you just into one issue e.g. MGM) and in general I think MRA isn't like feminism at all, its doesn't have an underlying theory like patriarchy its based on. In that case I don't care about if I am an MRA or not, or too much about theory, ideology... there is just a practical set of issues that need to worked on... the only purpose I have found MRA to be for me, is it makes it easily identifiable and also concentrated

Thank you I also hate #metoo. I got to see it weaponized firsthand and it's really shitty. Innocence is no defense against a rape accusation. If there's one thing I've learned from #metoo it's to be extremely skeptical of any rape claims. Not just because some are false but because even if they are demonstrably false, (#DukeLAcrosse) clearly baseless, (Jake and Josie Poster,) or ridiculously unfounded, (Christine Blasey Ford,) the mob still craves blood. Nobody apologizes. Heck even #mattressgir…

You realise that feminism at its core is a religious cult that hates anything that is not feminist. It isn't even anti-man, it is more so it is anti-anything not feminist... for death threats, rape threats, to violence feminists have a long and rich history of crushing other women and feminists who don't tow the party line. Its sad that trans or gay people often feel like they have to turn to feminism to solve problems of discrimnation or negative views toward them when feminism is an awful thin…

They havent conveniently ignored mens issues or womens issues form a non feminist perspective (or even feminist perspetivce they don't like e.g. Christina Hoff Summers)... They have actively legislated this intentionally in and opposed reform. Check out the other posts for specific examples. something about as credible as battered husband syndrome for a defense for murder... something entirely unneeded to as gender neutral self defense las already exists.... yeah I can't leave this situation, but err yeah murder is rational solution. I think I understand menslib a bit more now. Firstly its mainly women feminists. The few men are gay or extremely feminine. I shouldn't have to do this, but let me point out I am not homophobic in any way, and have no issue with gay men or women, some of whom I am friends and colleagues with.... however, think about it... gay people are looked down by chunks of society, not all much of it is very gay positive... so they are more aligned with feminism and anything that seeks to dismantle male nor…

I'll add examples of feminists trying to block laws stating men can be raped by women e.g. in Israel or blocking gender neutral conscription in Norway. And of Course repeatedly no platforming and blocking attempts to raise mens issues or any issues that don't paint women as victims... e.g. that CDC report saying injury is similar between genders in violence was not published in CDC due to fear of feminists backlash so published somewhere else instead.

Karen Straughan said something about interviewing Namoi Wolf, the famous feminists, and how when she told Naoimi she had wealth privealge Naomi was shocked and tried to deny having wealth privilege, when that couldn't be done she just denied being wealthy (net worth was several million dollars).... being a victim is a central part of 3rd was feminism along with masculinity is bad, femininity good, but women oppressed. Yes, I agree, I mean the gendering of it and as you said, rightly the double standard. I was a feminists for a few years... exact same thing yeah learnt a thing maybe two but ultimately realised it was some kind of Orwellian bullahit. Women problems - patriarchy. Mens problems - patriarchy. Men do bad things - toxic masculinity, oppressive patriarchy. Women does exact same thing - internalised mysogony.... literally couldn't make it up. And then the more weirder ones... mysogny can exist but misandry can't... see patriarchy.

Great post, very well written. I like Karen as it would immediately shut this down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSGnajrBR5M - "yeah ok Karen" But the above is just the a stepping stone for the intersectional feminist endgame of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cMYfxOFBBM - a vicious 100 person mob. If you havent watched that video, do so, to see why intersectional feminism, and inter-sectionalism in any form is toxic and as big of a threat to free society as anything I can think of.
