Refusing to give a ten year old child you consider a sister your phone number (who might want to call you in the case of emergency? Advice?) just in case she accuses you of molestation? Engage your brain Jesus Christ. And shame on everyone here who encourages this. There's a fine line between being redpilled and being a paranoid nutjob. This is a great example of leaping over that line. Fair enough if you don't want to be bothered by a ten year old but just say "I use my phone for work" and be d…

Guardian is an absolute toilet of a newspaper. There is no point in reading anything from there, it'll just piss you off. Any paper that bangs on about the minor differences in crash test results and women having to wear blankets in a cold office whilst ignoring the men that are too hot and have to wear shorts (which they themselves mention in the same sentence) and, more importantly, ignore the vastly outbalanced workplace deaths men suffer clearly has an agenda. Fuck em.

She said many women were so insecure about their own appearances that they have to put on makeup even for a short trip to nearby supermarkets. I had an ex that would do this. I would ask her why and tell her how pointless it was, how it wasted time, how she looked great. She still did it. Damn men making women wear make up, grrrr!

Two of their defining personality traits are "liking food" and "liking sleep". If a guy said that shit to you you'd think he was a boring fuck, but girls can say that shit and get away with it because they're girls. I'm British so I don't know the details of this but... Wtf am I reading. Does anyone believe a man who gouges out his wife's vagina could even begin to justify it, let alone lead a charity against domestic abuse after?! I despair.

I suppose its toxic masculinity that makes women bitch about each other and pressure other women into wearing make up / the latest fashion just to keep up with each other then. I cannot believe how stupid these people are. If men act one way it's man's fault. If women act another way, guess what, it's man's fault again. Morons.

I've drank to excess a lot in my life. Been beaten up a couple of times whilst I've been plastered. Did I ask for it? Nope. Did I put myself in a dangerous situation? Yep. Could I have avoided the beatings if I had acted a little more responsibly? I believe so, yes.

Yep. This is too much and the majority of back patting here is short sighted. 12 is far too young to hear this shit. Direct him and guide him subtly. Don't fill his head with your own thoughts, he's not mature enough to handle the harder truths and you'll just risk raising an angry, bitter boy. He's a fucking kid. The stuff you're unloading on him now will confuse and anger him. This is inappropriate knowledge for a boy that young.

That's nice. Where did I dispute that. I explained a lot of the principles should still be observed even when in a relationship. Your reply of "you're either in a relationship or not" has no bearing on what I've said.

Look, I understand the nature of the sub. But it's still difficult for a human, not just men, to decide to "go solo" and stick to it forever. However there are some extremely useful principles here that can be applied when in a relationship. The main takeaway from this sub is "look after #1. You are #1". There is plenty of room to do that with or without a partner.

Feminity is not in my mind violent and more aligned with caring and passivity. Don't conflate "masculinity" with men (something you have done by referring to "both sexes), I didn't say that. I was careful not to refer to either gender. Women can have moments of "masculinity". Men can have moments of "feminity" Furthermore the vast, vast amount of violence occurs at the hands of men. You might not like that fact but it is unfortunately the truth. Again, this absolutely does not mean all men are r…

I'm going to say something risky here and say I don't 100% agree with everything in this post. Some elements of masculinity increase the risk of some inherently negative experiences (violence) and some elements of feminity lend to some inherently positive experiences (nurturing). I think it's slightly disingenuous to pretend that is not the case. HOWEVER, the huge issue I have now is that the positive elements of masculinity (which VASTLY outweigh the small negatives) are being erased and replac…

FYI law in the UK states that if you compliment someone's perfume and that person feels "disrespected" you legally sexually harassed that person. If they didn't "feel disrespected", it is not sexual harassment i.e. the person recieving the compliment gets to decide if you broke the law or not. The comment doesn't have to be sexual in nature; if you compliment someone and they feel uncomfortable you just broke the law. Yes, I am aware that sounds like I'm trying to peddle you bullshit. This isn't gatekeeping at all. I didn't say mobile games weren't real games. I said below people are free to play those games as much as they like. I am simply explaining there is no competitive scene for those games, giving reasons as to why you aren't going to have anywhere near as much female representation on eSports teams.
/r/MGTOW06/01/19 08:18 AM
3

I suspect those statistics are out and out nonsense, I'd love to know how they were measured. Anyone who has played any of those games can be confident more men play cod than women, to suggest otherwise is madness. And, if I were to humour the stats I suspect are false, they make no reference to time played. Like I said, are the women playing 30 minutes a week compared to obsessive men pouring 40 hours a week into their favourite game?

Firstly those statistics largely support my claim i.e. mobas and first person shooters have very few female players, these being the largest competitive eSports scenes right now. Secondly these statistics have no sources and, lo and behold, contradict eachother. 10% of first person shooters are female according to one, yet 51% of cod players are female according to another? Not sure if serious or expert trolling. Either way yours and my opinion is irrelevant. Games on mobile are irrelevant on the competitive scene. Remember? What this post is about? For the record I never said one was better than the other. People are free to join Wii fit, candy crush, words with friends and Pokémon go eSport teams all they like. I'm not judging. I'm simply saying don't expect too many women on CS, LoL or overwatch pro teams (i.e. the eSport teams that actually exist) if women don'…

I'll give it a look. It was a shame, you.csm tell the foundation of a legendary game is there but it just felt like a chore to get through for me. Also felt the pacing in the story wasn't great. I really didn't give a shit about the characters in the same way I cared about John Marston in red dead 1.

They literally include mobile games, DS games etc. They also don't consider 30 minutes on Wii fit a week isn't the same as 40 hours a week grinding competitive online shooters. It's like saying me and Usain bolt are both sprinters because I jogged for the train once this week

Oh and the bounty system is pretty poor. At least in GTA you could get away from your wanted level. In red dead of you do anything remotely "wrong" you have to pay and the debts stay hanging over your head. Pretty lame.

Hi. I wouldn't say I disliked it. But I was quite disappointed in it. The world is beautiful and it's immersive beyond belief but the gameplay has a lot of niggling problems that really stopped me having fun. I got bored of having to stop to sleep, eat, change clothes, clean guns etc and riding around the map with no fast travel was too much. The controls felt clunky and stiff, too (and why do I have to walk through the camp? Literally takes a minute to get from Arthur's bed to sprinting away on…

You'd think if the oppressed were so wonderful, they would have never been oppressed in the first place. Reminds me of a hypothetical question a philosophy student friend of mine at uni asked me. "If you find yourself in the position where you have to fight for equality, are you truly equal?"

It's genuinely very uncomfortable for society to have imperfect women. Flawed women aren't willingly shown in the news, they tend to be perfect / moral in film and it's VERY rare to have women as the victims of murder in film. Even in commercials the man is always the dumb one. Never the woman. Women are protected in all forms of media because it's a very unpleasant thought to society to have women be less than perfect or that harm might come to her. It's basic branding. Hollywood and fashion want pretty people who don't say a lot. Having a victim or an abuser as the face of your business / movie is just bad branding. People don't want to be bummed out thinking about someone having a shitty time when they just want to see a movie.
