I remember some idiotic jewelry ad where they claimed the "proper" amount guys should spend is "two month's wages". What a racket. This kind of financial servitude is just expected by these entitled females. How about in return they spend two months learning how to cook a proper meal or keep their bodies in shape post-marriage.

it's the women who want it and often refuse to marry if the ring isn't good enough. I notice feminists are quick to specifically name men if they think--often falsely--that men are the perpetrators of a problem. But here, when it's women who cause the problem--no blame. Hypocritical.
