It was 70lbs… but I gained 20 back.

She cheated, so I’ve already had a taste of that.

Dude, This I’m right there. I’m losing half my time with them. God damn her for cheating. God damn her for costing me my kids.

she wants to see you aren’t doing well. She wants you to miss her. Some women are psychotic narcissists

I am bitter. My faith has suffered. I don’t know how to recover. I’m doing all the right things and I’m just spinning in circles.

Women rationalize their feelings over their commitments and other women celebrate them. Men try that shit and we get labeled as lazy, deadbeat, or selfish. We live in a culture rife with misandry and women have no clue and think men who point it out are the problem and are “narcissistic“. They have whole YouTube channels dedicated to pumping out pop psychology bullshit to validate their feelings rather than grow as people.

Women feel like divorce is teaching men some bullshit lesson. Here’s what I’ve learned: women have no accountability in our culture and even devout religious people can’t keep a fucking commitment.

I’m angry. Don’t destroy yourself or your kids in your anger. But it’s fine to be mad. Life is bullshit sometimes.

I did love her. I feel betrayed, she was my best friend. I asked her for help and she betrayed me, humiliated me, then abandoned me.

My wife tried to say she still loves me, but not romantically. Sure, love means making out with another guy and letting him finger fuck her in my car and then blaming me for using porn.

Does it make you feel like less of a hooker to mock the suffering of someone on the internet?

“Be friends” is her way of not feeling shitty about the breakup. Just move on, you can’t be friends

I asked for help, and when I did, she walked. I spent 5 months in therapy, 12 step groups, in study, and fostering new accountability. She was asked by a counselor why she’s going because she wasn’t even trying. The big rub is that 1. She still maintains that me using porn was worse than her getting finger fucked by a man on a drunken date and 2. She had been flirting with this man and others both at her gym and going out dancing before I ever disclosed anything. Yes, I’m fully wrong to have bee…

It was a problem over years, but something I lied about. I wasn’t caught, I confessed it after conviction to change and improve myself.

Pretty much what I was doing. My therapist said to allow myself to swear, to be ugly, and to say what I feel. Just not to her.

She certainly saw it that way.

No. You shouldn’t have been downvoted, that’s a fair question. I wanted to stop using it. I brought it to her, recognizing it was a problem, and wanting to stop. She felt betrayed and lied to.

I hate my god damned life so much. (Edit: I’m not thinking of ending it, I just hate it. I got no say in how it’s going. Everything got more expensive. Time with my kids cut in half. Best friend betrayed me and left me. I got publicly shamed for porn use. I’m on anti anxiety meds so I’m tired all the time. Nothing is working out how I had hoped. I’ll push on for the kids, but every waking moment is suffering right now.)

I’m coming up on the first anniversary alone too. Might be 14 years if divorce isn’t final. Fucking sucks.

I got on some antidepressants which helps. I’ve had six months to start to cope. It’s still hard, but Manageable. Once its final and she moves out, the healing can really begin.

I’ve lost 60lbs since this all started. One day at a time brother. Lots of dark days ahead, but better ones too.

Women go crazy in perimenopause. They get more aggressive, and since this culture requires so little accountability or personal responsibility, they do stupid shit and blame men.

Thanks for taking all that time to reply. She definitely wants to punish me. I gotta get her gone, legally and physically.

When a doctor tells you “brain tumor” in a list of other possible things, that one does tend to stand out. No headaches or blurry vision to report, so I guess no sense worrying until there is something to worry about.

Tumor is just one possibility. They have to run lots of tests. Could be testicular, could be Kleinfelter’s syndrome, could be genetic, might be early onset aging.

I do want to protect those kids with every fiber of my being, I’m just having a hard time putting one foot in front of the other. This depression is damn near crippling me.

I’m heartbroken at the rejection, the betrayal. That I thought she’d show grace but she showed her back and walked away. I’m stressed at the added expenses of child support and buying her equity. I’m stressed that I haven’t had sex in 6 months. I’m stressed she’s still in the home until the finances are settled and she gets her own place. I’m stressed about the impact on the kids. She was my comfort and my best friend, and now she’s a stranger. I lost so much by losing her, and I’ve been told ov…

Completely. She acted like I was the problem for looking at porn. She continued to act like I was the problem and that she just responded to me… she never admitted to the MONTHS of Facebook stalking him, going dancing, God knows what else before they had the physical affair.

I’m facing that demon too. I was never “single guy”. I valued monogamy, and kept myself until marriage. Now my wife has cheated and left, and I want to act crazy, but that’s not who I want to be either.

Nobody stays attractive. If you want someone to stay with you when you’re an old sack of skin and bones, you better work on loving the person and not the body.

I wasn’t perfect. I’ve had issues with porn. I confessed it to her, and wanted to make it right. I know I was emotionally unavailable for a while dealing with that, and depression. But when I confronted the behavior, she demonstrated her own problem. She had an affair. A guy she’d been Facebook stalking for months. They went out dancing, got drunk, made out, and he fingered her in my car. She ran for the door on my confession. Now my kids are complaining that she bullies them during the few time…

My STBX took a shittier job than she needed to, and now wants to discuss alimony. People are lazy, entitled, shit. They may hide it well, or for a long time, but stress them out and the shit comes right out of the best of us.

You might consider joining a church group or something. You need community. You need stuff to do and to look forward to.

My stbxw was my best friend. I was not hers. Friends don’t cheat. They don’t walk away when things get tough. They communicate. They respect you. They love you unconditionally. They want what’s best for you. They cheer you on. They make you feel important. They don’t try and change you. If my guy friends treated me as poorly as my stbxw has, I wouldn’t have friends. I’m coming to realize what a terrible friend I had in her.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
