I'm sure I'm definitely not full alpha. 60% is a good measure and I'm always improving. Even if I "failed" that shit test, she came crawling back for more and more afterward.

I've had sex with girls on the first date enough to really not care. If she comes back she comes back, if not, there's always another. She came back and kept coming back.

I'm definitely aware of her "girl game." I read that post recently about this subject and made myself more aware and unaffected by it.

Whether she did or not doesn't matter to me. She's doing them with me. I'm getting great sex for zero dollars down. The point I'm trying to make is she's letting me have my way with her in a way that indicates to me my SMV is high enough.

If you're trying to break into a conversation at a party, wait until you have something to add. Don't say "hey guys what are you talking about?" Make yourself likeable by asking questions about others and being genuine. Even the most alpha male will love to talk about himself. Let him. He'll like you for it and keep you around. Read Dale Carnegie.

The sexual capital of older post-wall women has dropped immensely and they know it. That doesn't stop them from believing they are now entitled to a man of their age and of high stature. Of course, they also know they can't compete with the sweet tightness and youthful perk of their fertile younger versions. So, they have to somehow mess with the market to skew competition in their favor. Their two choices are to shame the hunter or shame the game. And since they used to be young CC riders in th…

I've used "you get me beer and I'll get yours" a few times. We both end up with drinks and I've made it clear I'm not buying her shit without anything in return because "she's a woman at a bar." I've also flat out told girls I don't buy girls drinks at bars. When they get pissy and slap my shoulder and say, "whyyyyyuh?" I give them funny reasons like "my friend posts a snap of ever free drink she gets" and basically make them understand I'm onto their game.

We are told not to tell boys to act "like a man" but are somehow encouraged to redefine acting "like a girl."

Yeah, I just feel tighter as a person, physically and mentally.. I was in good shape but now I'm really lifting and it's starting to be noticeable, and I'm more aligned with my career and passions, and have read some non-fiction too. Feeling this way helps with confidence and holding frame too. My game is tighter.

This is almost exactly what I say to friends as I'm unplugging them. They eventually ask "wait so you're basically saying I'll be able to pick up chicks? How is this different than just r/seduction or whatever?" RP doesn't REALLY necessarily teach you how to pick up chicks, though game is part of it. It teaches you the right way to view yourself and view the world. It gives you the right perspective, a lens through which to view the decisions you will make in your life. So, my soon to be unplugg…

I really enjoy listening to this guy. In the first speech from the long compilation, he said that women are more sexual than men, and then goes on to say why would you pay a woman to have sex when she wants it more than you do? I'm not sure I agree with the idea that women want sex more than we do. I believe there has been some discussion here about this. A man's mind thinks about sex uncountable times per day. It's our biological imperative. Women have no idea what it's like to desire sex like …

You're so funny and smart and amazing, any girl but me would be lucky to date you. You'll find someone, I know it. More than anything, TRP helped me understand why girls said this sort of thing and why it bothered me so much. Because they want to ride the CC while you sit around and wait for them to hop off the final stallion, and have your sniveling beta ass waiting on the other side so they can Beta Bux you up. I was called "marriage material" a lot by girls, and now I find this to be the bigg…

Transgression This one made a huge difference for me. Back in my BP days, my text game was sub-par. I'd ask my female friends for advice. "Text her back" or "don't make her wait" or "don't play games," they'd say. And I liked it because they are girls so they MUST know what it is they are looking for. And I didn't want to play games either. The result was: I looked far too eager and available. My opinion was "well come on, everyone has their phone all the time, not responding right away is just …

This is a really great point, and why cutting a girl out completely is really the best way to get over oneitis, or cutting out alcohol completely and not just "I'll only drink on the weekends."
/r/TheRedPill29/11/14 07:34 PM
13

From my experience, when people answer the question "how was your weekend?" they are likely to tell you something important. Maybe they saw a concert for a favorite artist. Maybe they worked on a personal project. Maybe they just needed time to relax. People are quick to talk about themselves, even when given a vague prompt.

Observance This is one of those laws I was lucky enough to figure out, without really calling it a "law of power," of course. In school I sat the front of the class, asked good questions, and participated well. I would build a positive reputation with the teacher. I was a good student who cared about class, was clearly learning, and was obviously putting the work in. That is all true and genuine, and did it because I wanted to. But then I figured out the power I had just given myself. When I nee…

Transgression Back in college I was auditioning for something. It was going really, really well. The guy auditioning me was really enjoying himself and we were getting along just fine. At the end he thanked me for coming in with a big smile. I should have just thanked him and left. But no. For some reason I felt the need to explain to him how much I wanted the part, how it was something I've always wanted to do, and how much fun I think it will be. I rambled for a long, terrible minute and in th…

Yes, the response from the community was very positive. Additionally, it's fun to hear stories about the laws from real people, in our times, instead of just from historical figures.

For pickup, I interpret this to be when there's a girl in a big group at a party or something. Don't forget to talk to the other girls and guys in the group. Build social proof. Be genuine with other people and they'll give you value. And she will begin to desire you because clearly you have importance and status. That doesn't mean don't flirt with her at all, but think push-pull. In this situation (and has worked from my experiences) not coming out guns blazing can actually be very helpful.

The first story in this chapter is about a young man attempting to seduce a girl. There is much RP in that story, and it's from the 17th century. If you haven't read the book and are just enjoying these posts, see if you can find this story somewhere online - it's very relevant.

I thought about this and decided it's a little too much to type up. Sometimes the reversals are a paragraph, and sometimes much longer. Sometimes there's no reversal at all. I also don't want to be copying too much out of the book, as this is just a place to discuss.

Transgression It's simple and kinda silly, but I learned a lot from it. I'm a funny guy. I make jokes. A lot. So does one particular higher up in my department. I have a great relationship with him because he's a great guy, but I did notice one thing in particular - HE wants to be the funniest. Every once in a while, way way back, he'd fire off a joke, I'd fire off a joke back and get no response from him. It occurred to me that he's not looking for more jokes. Great comment. We were trained to "just wait" because she will "eventually realize" that you're the "perfect guy for her." We were encouraged, probably by females, to let her ride the cock carousel and prove our devotion when she's gotten off the last horse on a pole and is dizzy from going around and around. So hearing back from a girl that she finally wanted us after so long was only validation of our waiting. Only confirmation that what we did was right. We thought "wow it was meant to be." U…

Check out the sidebar but in short - you know what's it's like when hamster runs in place in that it the wheel? Doing a lot of work but going nowhere? Among a few other uses, that's the metaphor for when women are processing their completely irrational behaviors and trying to come up with logical reasons.

I liked a girl once in college. It was obvious. Her best friend told me "she knows you like her again. Just ignore her and she'll want your attention." So I did. Focused on myself for a week or two. It worked. She came crawling to me like SHE was the one with the crush. But by then I had already started something else with a different girl.

BP: Met a girl who seems to be flirting with me. She says she has a boyfriend. Abort! I can't do that to another guy. He's probably a good guy who doesn't deserve to be cheated on. RP: oh she says she has a boyfriend? And she's flirting with me? She's probably going to cheat on her beta bux anyway, may as well be with me. It's not my responsibility to make sure some other guy's girlfriend is loyal.

women are people too Yes. They are. Which is why I don't put them on a pedestal. Which is why they aren't entitled to special treatment because they are the "gatekeepers" of sex. Which is why when they are hamstering or acting silly, I call them out on it. I feel like the author uses "woman are people too" to advance an agenda of treating them differently. I'll do my best to explain. Kinda turned into a ramble, but maybe you'll take something away. Nothing to do with my career choice or anything. I think it was my personality. I think in some cases I put women on a pedestal (beta behavior) growing up. Probably many cases. I left out many of the details of the story for anonymity's sake

Of course I apologize when I'm wrong. The people I was talking to, well, we BS a lot and these sorts of statements/jokes are commonplace. Platitudes, off colors stuff, it's all in good fun. It just hit me hard that as soon as I joked about this it was "time to educate me about marriage."

If you don't mind me asking, what's your number and how old are you?

No that's fair, I would never usually. But these coworkers are known for saying pretty off color stuff and we joke around all the time. I elaborated on this thought below in another comment

It's true it's a "bad thing to say" but these coworkers are notorious for saying very off color and inappropriate stuff. It was largely a joke amongst jokesters (we had been joking a lot) but all of a sudden that comment made them chuckle and laugh at my "naivete"

It's honestly blowing my mind. I guess that's why they call it the Red Pill. It's incredible how many girls do this without even batting an eye. And they are right - their boyfriend may never no, or will never know, and from their perspective the relationship is just fine. If these girls are going to be doing it with someone, maybe I could be that guy. I'm not in a relationship now, but eventually if I'm in one, this sort of stuff does make me a little weird. Looks like the best way to keep her …

Then mentions her mother is coming down around from overseas for her marriage in 3 days time. My mouth actually dropped open agape at this line. I was about to say I can't believe a woman would fuck someone 3 days before her WEDDING, but now that I've taken TRP I think I CAN believe it. They can get away with this stuff as long as no one ever knows. I wonder if it happens more than we even know.

Absolutely. I'll never do it. Especially not one of my best friends. If she ever indicated something like that to me I'd go to him an have a frank conversation.

I've been a staunch believer in if I meet a girl somewhere who has a boyfriend (who isn't there), even if she's showing me interest, that I won't do anything. I just don't want to be "that guy." But I'm starting to see this a little differently, as I've been on TRP for a month now. It's entirely possible these girls still feel whatever emotional/societal devotion to these boyfriends, but they just want a little bit of strange D. And if they are going to get it from someone, why not me? I haven't…

Thanks for the stories! Do you not feel guilty about doing this, especially to your friends? Or is it a "doesn't matter, had sex" mindset?

At least it gives something to do while going out alone. My issue with going out alone is not having any "business" to be occupied with.

This is actually a very interesting experiment. I'm quite curious to see what kind of people would sit down.

Great! You don't even have to use all the time allotted. The main victory is just getting up there. Once you're up there, forget about everything else and just play your song.

I'm decent enough at game to be able to #-close or k-close, or sometimes f-close (sorry to use seddit language, not sure if that's ok here). But the time/effort it takes for that is just ridiculous compared to the ol' music strategy, and the girls are rarely worth the effort. That's the dissonance I've been having, so I just stopped caring.

Good luck my friend. Focus on playing a great show, #1. The rest will follow if you want it.

there are no amount of words that can convey the time and dedication you show to your craft This. I don't like saying "oh yeah, I play piano and have been for almost twenty years" and then they say "so you must be really good at it then!" and now I just feel like an braggy asswipe. when i'm not. I don't think so, at least. I didn't start taking piano lessons because it would get me girls. I was a little kid and liked it and practiced every day. It just happens to be a nice by-product.

The feeling of being up there is the best. I have been so inspired by other music and musicians and I want to be that for new audiences. That's why I love being up there and entertaining - providing a great experience that's moving. Get into the spotlight! Find a local open mic and everyone is pretty shitty anyway. You'll have 8 minutes or so all to yourself, and you never know who there will like your style and want to collaborate or if the cute/weird singer-songwriter chick will dig you. I hav…

Makes you more interesting without investing time into conversation and having to express yourself through words. This is pretty much it. To me, most girls aren't necessarily "worth the effort" of game, conversation, texting here and there. However, if I don't have to put much work into it, then that's a different story.

it's like im playing with a handicap. This is a great way to put it I think, at least, a great way to put how I feel. It's frustrating to think that the girls would have a completely different reaction much more quickly if we were in a different environment. I started feeling this way before discovering TRP and this has helped put words to the thoughts. So I end up thinking "why bother trying in this bar when if I were playing music it would be effortless?" That's kinda where I am now. Sometimes…

This is actually a great point, thanks. Putting yourself in the best place seems like the obvious strategy as opposed to some sort of cheat to the game.

I'm "classically trained" but now I tend to play rock, jazz, indie rock, ragtime, etc. My favorite thing to do is sit at the piano and take requests, mostly figuring out songs by ear. Working at a dueling piano bar would be the perfect job for me.

This is a fantastic book! And a cool chart. But what's really awesome about the book is that the chapters are filled with stories and examples about each of these tenets - those really help them sink in and help you visualize how you can apply them to your own life.

Yessir, you are very much correct. I spent a good day or two really feeling somewhat lovesick. I rarely connect with anyone on that level so it was nice to ride that high. But I've since come down to reality and have begun the move-on sequence. Thanks for the reminder again!

Wow - thank you for taking the time to write this! It was awesome to read. I really appreciate the compliments, and breaking it down between what mattered and what didn't was also great to read. Thanks also for saying not to second guess all this. I really needed to hear that. I keep going back and forth between "I should have suggested something - she would have gone for it" and "maybe she wanted to and didn't want to say and now she thinks I'm not a MAN!" to "I'm glad we had what we had and sh…

Sex with an attractive girl isn't a source of instant happiness, it's the result of happiness and awesomeness you already have. Yep. Well said my friend.

Thanks man. I checked the flights again and it's only a 2 hour layover so I just don't think it's gonna happen... I'm hoping we'll stay in touch and eventually see each other again.

It really does feel like a missed opportunity - not just for sex but for sex with someone I like, with someone I have a good connection with. I learn from each one of my "pick up" experiences, and I definitely know what I learned this time. As far as seeing her again - I'm going to be in Portland this weekend, and I'll actually have a layover in Seattle on my way back so I'm thinking about getting in touch with her and seeing what she's up to.

There's an app called "Swoon" for android that is pretty much the exact same thing but has way less users, way less good-looking users, and is extremely rough around the edges.

Great idea - it gives you a little something that a) differentiates you and b) something that is just "yours" (meaning her and you) that she can latch on to.

I always call them right away so they can "prove" they actually have a cell phone. Usually gets a laugh. Something that has worked for me so far is after leaving - "Hey, it's pjewa. How do you spell your name?" maybe throw in some ridiculous examples. Even with the simplest names you can usually find a few versions - Sara/Sarah, Lindsay/Lindsey, etc. She'll tell you and then you can be sure she saves your number. If she flirts a little or seems like she might be a real "texter" I'll keep it up, …

This is very smart - I'm surprised I haven't bothered to try this yet. I'm a pretty funny guy and can always make girls laugh - I tend to be the "life of the party" type. Man, a quick kino after a joke landing is associating their pleasurable laughter with my touch. How have I never made this connection before?

No, I've never done it. I'm very confident on my own and have no plans to try it. I just wanted to see what the general reaction to it was.

I don't necessarily think it is. When I first started having sex I used the free regular sized ones from my university health center. I didn't have a frame of reference so I asked my roommates "is it supposed to be that tight at the base?" and they said something like "well yeah it's supposed to be snug you don't want it falling off!" So I didn't think anything of it until I told one girl (who was a very close friend and one night one-thing-lead-to-another) that they were really uncomfortable an…

That's okay. Don't forget to set yourself up for success. If you walk into a party and notice a girl make eye contact with you, especially extended, don't hesitate to say hello. Picking a girl who is showing you interest like that better than starting cold. And if she isn't special - so what. It's a warm up.

There's a post on here recently that said something like "attraction is the goal, sex is the reward." Forget about any "in the sack" issues you have. Don't start out thinking "I'm going to open on her and get her to have sex with me." Open on her and get her to smile. Focus on a #-close or a kiss close, and if it doesn't happen, then it doesn't matter. I found I do a much better job when I focus on building rapport and attraction to me with the hopes of getting her number - and usually since I s…

Thanks for the text pointers. Telling instead of asking is a little bit more confident, on texting and on the response calling line you pointed out. Thursday afternoon I'll send her the "I'm going to be at ____ this Saturday, you should come" text.
