Anyone else feel like FRs should be getting more love and discussion?

Personally, I love the FR's. That's why I come here. I think you learn a lot more from reading the story than the analysis.

The reason I wasn't posting any FR's is 'cause I'm a noob, but reading some of the posts below ("I really enjoy reading FRs from newer members"), I might have to actually post my first FR. Also I feel kind of fake posting the FR in two places (100sets and here) but whatever, I'll go for it. This place probably has more visibility anyway.

I really enjoy reading FRs from newer members, or members who are trying new things. I've now made this account specifically for seddit and have been considering posting FRs, but I usually just end up answering questions instead.

While I'm certainly not a grand master (despite my username), my game is reasonably solid. I guess I feel that once you get past a certain stage and begin seeing consistent results, posting FRs is just jerking yourself. My question is, would you prefer to read FRs from experienced PUAs or from guys who are still teething?

Thanks for this post! I whole-heartedly agree that FR's need to be slightly more front-and-center. I've written 4 of them myself and love feedback, positive or negative.

HOWEVER: my biggest gripe with /r/seduction these days has been the overall lower quality of recent FRs. So many of them are some variation of "OMG Thx seddit I did this one thing at this one party this one night and this girl slept with me THIS WORKS GUYS!"

It's become more of a circlejerk and completely anecdotal. The problem with this is, the reason a girl sleeps with you on any given night can be for many different reasons. Maybe she was just really horny, or thought you reminded her of her former band teacher, or she liked the way your beard looked. Whatever the case, unless the events from that night can be traced back and distilled to some actual skill, actions, phrases, or even mindset, it's just not that helpful for others.

What would be helpful in an FR? Less bragging. More insights/descriptions on shit tests, tactics/lines, things that involve actual skill. What you think you did right, vs what you could have done better. If you've been having lots of success recently, what kind of practice you are putting in, etc.

Don't get me wrong, there certainly are some quality FR's here from time to time. and I don't write perfect FR's myself. But I really try to write something that is useful, discussable, and distillable. I gather that this is the primary reason many of us have not been upvoting or commenting on many of the recent FR's.

from what i've noticed, i tend to read people's "FR's" in the comments of posts. sure i'll see the casual FR every so often, but when someone asks for help, you'll get some good material reading comments on what worked for that person, in the situation that the OP is talking about. I do it myself, because i can relate. Maybe some people just feel more comfortable posting comments? who knows.

Honestly, I think most of the people in seddit are keyboard jockeys. It's easy to argue theory or post "nice post bro," but dudes with no practical experience usually don't have much to say on FR's.

This has inspired me to write my first FR - I think learning from others experiences can be hugely beneficial, but I reckon it comes down to length, people just want short sharp points and comments as opposed to lengthy stories. Is the answer punchier, shorter FRs?

What I feel FR's are missing is in-line analysis. It seems most posters want to be a story-teller with FR's, whereas what I feel would be more helpful is an analysis of techniques used, why that particular technique was used, and if it landed or missed.

For example, instead of saying you listened to your favorite song before going out, explain how that song gets you into your state, whatever that may be, and why that is helpful before going out to a bar/club/party.

This, I feel, will bring FR's back to the scientific analysis side of writing and away from the literary battle it has become.
