The psychological answer is desensitization. Just keep exposing yourself to girls/approaching hot girls. Eventually you will become calm.

Cold reading does surprisingly well on tinder. People love to talk about themselves, you could fill in innocent for many other traits.

Yeah fiction might be the wrong word. I guess any FR's do. I checked out Brad P awhile ago. I'll check out Nine Ball, thanks
/r/seduction02/03/15 11:01 PM
2

Yeah. I think you get over this by going out a bunch. Eventually your brain unconsciously realizes that there's an abundance of girls.
/r/seduction17/04/13 11:05 PM

I have a similar list. Mine goes like: Financial freedom Health Women Financial freedom Knowledge used to get me money is included. I'm planning to take computer science and then start a business. Health Pretty much the same as you. Women This is what seddit has taught me. I go out to parties often, talk to lots of girls and try to do this as regularly as possible. I don't read much theory anymore and try to learn by doing.

I was doing half hour per day for awhile. I'd recommend this video for beginners. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nwwKbM_vJc
/r/seduction04/12/12 06:26 PM

It seems to be more subtle than that. Obviously you can't ignore people, spend all day on your computer and acting awkward. You still need to convey value in order for ignoring her to work.

I could be wrong. Socialization is complex business. Take what you can from other people and figure out what works for you

Yeah that's tough man. Building a social group up would require a lot of work. I've never moved away from my city so I haven't had to do that

I usually go out on weekends and try to get all my work/goals done in the week. The venues I go to vary a lot, just try everything. I often pull at a place with loud music and dim lights where theres a bar and dance floor. I'll often pull girls by dancing with them and then going to the bar or outside and talking and building comfort. Then I'll invite them back to watch a movie or get some food. The girl I was talking to last night said that she knew that "watch a movie just meant going to go ha…

I feel like having things work it is due to a lot of effort you put into socializing, working towards what you think is valuable ect. I spend time meditating, exercising and studying every day. It happens that I'll slip and only stay at home and feel down. It takes constant discipline to stay on the edge.
/r/seduction02/11/12 01:16 AM
13

Yeah I know everyone says that going out is important. I thought I would connect this with my idea of mainly practicing the core concepts of seduction. I think the simplicity of this is a good thing. Stop worrying about the complex ideas here. Just understand the basics and apply them.
/r/seduction02/11/12 01:13 AM
1

It doesn't have to do with me being scared of provoking a fight. When you're talking with a girl it's all about building a connection. Making the feeling that it is you and her against the world. I try not to throw up any barriers to that. I don't really care about what political or religious beliefs a girl has, I just try to connect with her deeper personality. But these are all words eventually. Actions are what count. Seduction is also a sort of subjective thing. It may work differently for d…

All seems good. Except... State your opposing opinion to someone without being confrontational. Hold your ground. “No way, there are plenty of metal songs with good lyrics.” “I disagree, the war on drugs has been a complete failure.” I think it's good to be sure of your opinion. But I find disagreeing with people often provokes a negative reaction if they are attached to their belief. Often if people state a political belief I don't believe in I'll just ignore it rather than provoke a conflict.
/r/seduction25/10/12 07:45 PM
1

This is how I start. She says something funny just naturally pat her on the side. Then work up from there.
/r/seduction25/10/12 07:36 PM
2

I wouldn't have escalated other than some light arm touching, since you're on a bus. You should have asked for her number though and then texted her to meet up
/r/seduction13/10/12 10:52 PM
10

I usually don't use any lines now. I just say whatever and focus more on body language. When I want to escalate with a girl I'll put my arm around her or pull her close to me. But if you're getting girls with the lines, then go for it.
/r/seduction13/10/12 04:20 PM
13

Whenever a girl says she's busy I assume it's a logistics issue and never that she's not attracted to me. Often times girls do have other commitments and it's wrong to chalk it up to a lack of attraction. Wait for a girl to blow you out before you start blowing yourself out.
/r/seduction24/09/12 12:45 AM
1

Wow, I wish our culture was like that.
/r/seduction19/09/12 03:21 AM
5

Move your feet in their direction. Get blown out. Repeat. But on a more serious note, you have a great commonality with them. You both have kids. Your kids are dominant in both your lives. That would be a great starting point. But there is no best method of approaching, there is only approaching. You just have to do it
/r/seduction19/09/12 03:16 AM
1

There's a balance between approaching every women and being aloof that it's good to strike. I would recommend figuring out what works for you by trying approaches on people you wont see again. Then you can also try not approaching at all when you're at parties. It is sort of a contradiction and I've spent time trying to figure out a good balance of both
/r/seduction18/09/12 07:14 PM
1

I feel like approaching can be done well. But I feel it's often overemphasized to and misinterpreted by those new at the game. By forcing yourself to approach you can feel unnatural, take yourself out of the moment and stress yourself out.
/r/seduction18/09/12 01:22 AM
2

Yeah. The setting this works best in is if you're at a party where people can sit around and talk. It can be hard to find that type of party in a new city. So going out to bars and approaching is good in that case

When she says something to you with her full attention and it's funny if it makes her sound vulnerable just give her a natural touch on the arm. Now that I think of it I should probably be escalating to more vulnerable body parts like the neck and head and thighs

Yeah I didn't actually mean telling the guy to fuck off, I was just slightly pissed when I wrote this. Yeah I was wondering if she was into the assertiveness. It's hard to tell but I'll probably be more assertive next time.

Went out. Didn't meet the neighbors there, but met some old high school friends and had fun.

I like your positive spin on it. But I don't think he was a good wingman at all. It made it harder to isolate and such. I'm feeling regret that I didn't just go in and pick her off her feet and carry her to the middle of the dance floor. But you live and you learn.
/r/seduction27/08/12 12:54 AM

This happened last night. I showered and went over to their place but they had left to the bar. I think I know what bar they went to. Do you think I should show up at where they are? or would that be interpreted as putting too much effort in?

Facebook is not a very good place to game. It could be good to set up dates
/r/seduction22/08/12 09:00 AM

It could be different for other people. I'm quitting when school starts up. Recently I've been smoking quite a bit and it's definitely hurt my game.
/r/seduction19/08/12 03:33 AM

You've got it made. I would definitely agree with not gaming girls that you will see often like girls who live in your res. You want to become friends with girls you see often and go out with them to meet different girls. The new girls you meet will be more attracted to you because you're friends with girls. Also it's no big deal if they blow you out because you'll never see them again.

Meh. I think the point of commenting on reddit is that every comment you make is judged independently of your past. If this was implemented it could mean bad content is upvoted because it came from a good source. But it's not that big of a deal

I've just got out of school and now have a ton of free time. I find my club game is pretty good, but recently I've been wanting to do more day approaches. In school I could easily bump into cute girls multiple time a day and chat. But now when I'm approaching strangers it feels forced and not as natural. Thoughts?
/r/seduction25/04/12 01:26 AM

It's hard to verbally convince yourself to not give a fuck. The best way to become less reactive to situations is to constantly face your fears by being yourself around the people you care about everyday.
/r/seduction25/04/12 12:42 AM
1

Fuck yes dude! You should go up to a girl immediately and grab close to you. If you trip out for a few seconds and don't go for her immediately, still force yourself to do it. By doing this eventually it will become automatic.
/r/seduction25/04/12 12:35 AM
5

Yes, being present is where it's at. You will convey good body language and actually be paying attention to the conversation rather than on what you will say next. You can literally say anything if you're in the moment. "Do you like me?" Pause... Look her in the eye, smile "Yeah" Body language speaks volumes, words are just noise.
/r/seduction22/04/12 05:22 AM
13

I'd just tell the truth. You guys weren't dating and you did nothing wrong. I'd take it a step further and say something like I didn't know you felt so strongly about me. But this is all theoretical, she may not even ask. First thing's first, just keep running game.
/r/seduction22/04/12 05:11 AM

Does this stuff actually make a difference? I just use old spice, sometimes nothing if I forget.
/r/seduction22/04/12 04:49 AM

By sleeping with other women you've already made yourself look good. Just keep doing what you've been doing. If you want a LTR with one girl you should probably focus on her.

We need a seddit genie who will teleport to any guy experiencing oneitis and SLAP the shit out of him.
/r/seduction22/04/12 04:32 AM
1

This is good advice. The only problem I find is if someone states their reasons for believing in something and I consider those bad reasons, I feel inclined to tell the truth and say "well maybe it's this instead".
/r/seduction18/04/12 07:28 PM
1

I'm interested if you think disagreeing with people you just met is possible while still maintaining rapport. I've started thinking that having a debate is much easier with a close friend or lover than it is with someone you've just met.
/r/seduction18/04/12 05:40 PM
1

Yeah I've decided on the stance that reasoned discussion is important for longterm relationships, but should be avoided when first meeting someone.
/r/seduction18/04/12 04:30 AM
1

I've actually changed my mind recently. I think if you have rapport with the person and they're reasonable you can discuss the evidence together and come to a conclusion together. However, I don't know if I'd do it with a girl I just met.
/r/seduction18/04/12 03:19 AM
2

I like your quicksand example. I feel arguments only turn bad if the person is unreasonable. I think that is a good idea to state your thoughts as opinions and dissociate them from yourself. Then you can rephrase the view from two people disagreeing into two people who are simply examining different evidence and reaching a conclusion together. Good input.
/r/seduction18/04/12 03:09 AM
1

Yeah. I've changed my mind. I think if you're polite and offer reasons it should be fine. Though I'm not sure if you should do it with a girl you just met.
/r/seduction18/04/12 03:00 AM
1

Titanic was just an example. Haha, I'm like "TITANIC IS IN 3D ASSHOLE!" But I've revised my stance. I think if you've got rapport with the person and you're polite you can offer reason for your idea without screwing shit up.
/r/seduction18/04/12 02:59 AM
1

Good point.
/r/seduction18/04/12 01:13 AM
2

If you say this one of two things can happen. 1) They provide legitimate reasons and convince you. Then you can reply how you agree with them. 2) They provide reasons you think are false. Then you can ether smile and nod or say that you disagree.
/r/seduction17/04/12 10:24 PM
2

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to stop trying to convince friend/lovers of things too. Though, it's very hard when someone disagrees with something you are passionate about.
/r/seduction17/04/12 10:22 PM
4

I'd also do exercises to improve posture. I stretch hamstrings, do supermans and some other posture exercises that I forget the name of.
/r/seduction15/04/12 05:03 AM
1

Haha, at least you approached. Just keep at it.
/r/seduction06/04/12 04:59 AM
1

Good advice. I'd recommend just dropping "Hey, you're pretty cute." or whatever pretty soon in the interaction to avoid the friendzone, but yeah acting like you're having fun is also key.
/r/seduction31/03/12 04:06 PM
1

I will definitely try that tonight. I'll go buy a drink with her in the corner.
/r/seduction31/03/12 04:04 PM

I had a bad first date a few days ago. I'll tell you what went wrong. I was told it's important to move fast with a girl when you get her number. So I told the girl we should meet up on Monday even though I had a commitment later and we could only hang out for two hours max. So make sure you have a clear schedule and a time consuming date plan. This is more important than moving fast. I also didn't move the girl, or have a plan past coffee. After we finished our coffees I should have had another …

Sales seem to be a good job for practicing pick up. Maybe I'll apply for one this summer. But working downtown/organizing events might be better.
/r/seduction31/03/12 09:35 AM
1

One problem with this is that by not trying to get laid and just having fun, you can often not communicate sexual interest and get friend zoned. I find it's a difficult line to draw between seeming interested "You're cute/You're my type" and not seeming interested by just focusing on having fun. Thoughts?
/r/seduction31/03/12 09:27 AM

I usually just grab the back of her scalp and then when I have a solid grip I pull down slowly (not quick). I'm a little skeptical about quickly pulling down.
/r/seduction30/03/12 07:28 PM

Just go out to the club. Pointing at a girl, bringing her in, dancing, having good posture is usually all that's required to make out with/number-close a girl.
/r/seduction30/03/12 07:24 PM
9

Can't wait to field test this.
/r/seduction30/03/12 07:18 PM

You're completely correct. I've been commenting on reddit for a long time and am usually good at this. I was a little too brusque in that comment.

Thanks buddy. That's a pretty in depth reply. I wrote this FR about last night. One mistake I made was asking what she was doing and not leading her. But shit went pretty well, I'm going to text her today to set up plans for tomorrow.

Orly? Would you prefer shopping or pottery?
/r/seduction25/03/12 06:09 PM

I'm pretty new to taking girls out on dates. Everything I know is stuff I've heard here. Shopping came from someone saying the best thing to do is just to move her around and go about your normal day activities, I need to get some summer clothes so I thought I'd take her shopping and then maybe go bowling at the mall.

Well I first got into it almost two years ago. Then I got a long term relationship that took me out of the game for a year and a half. I've been going out recently, been dancing and k-closing a few girls. But I still feel like I'm pretty new to this I made quite a few mistakes which I didn't include. For example, I was asking what she was doing later tonight when I should have just said "Let's get our coats" and then flirted with her some more outside. Then find some reason to bring her back to …

Thanks dude. Looks like the best advice is for screening for logistics. Looking for a girl that doesn't have later responsibilities like work in the morning or going home with her friends at night.

I'd say it doesn't have to be objectively "false". Something you misunderstood would be good to put down. Some advice that didn't work for you would also be interesting to hear.

This is how I see it too. I try to only read game on days I'm not planning on going out.

Good suggestion. I'll definitely try this if I go downtown. But I might be partying in residence or at the local bar tonight, so moving the girl to another party might not work because of the lack of other parties and bars in the area.

That's a good idea. I actually haven't tried focusing on one or two thing while going out, though I've seen it a few times here. I think tonight I'll focus on making plans for later "You like movies? Sweet! I've got a good one back at my place." I've found I often will just dance with a girl for a bit and get bored and say "Let's go." It actually works alright, but I feel like I should build more of a connection by talking with them and moving them to new locations first.

Yeah, I'll definitely be hitting the gym tonight.

I remember hearing a better question would be "What's your favorite drink?" Because although "Can I buy you a drink?" is alright, there's a chance she'll say no. This way whatever she says you can reply "Great, my favorite drink is Vodka Redbull. Here I'll buy you one."

I'm thinking it's more that OP feels like he needs to impress girls to get them. I was in that state for awhile and people are off put by your neediness. Going up to a girl you want and getting comfortable is the first step. Do things because they amuse you, not because you want to impress a girl.

It appears to me that you need to walk a balance between approaching women and giving up searching for a women. But well said, there's definitely something about projecting the idea that you aren't dependent.

Meh. Girl's don't get asked out that often from what I've heard. Plus, getting hit on by a bunch of girls all day would probably make me feel better if anything.

I was referring to an idea in this article: Breaking Circle. The idea actually changed my game quite a bit. It basically states that breaking off your conversation with her communicates disinterest. But yeah, I definitely felt awesome from trying. Knowing that there's great girls who are perfect for you out there in the world is sweet.
/r/seduction26/10/11 01:50 AM

Yeah. I think the approach's feeling natural comes from you more than it comes from the situation. Waiting for a opening can cause you to loose the girl also.

I found today raised one interesting point that I'm not sure what the right answer is. Though I feel like r/seduction always says approach immediately no matter what the conditions are. But by waiting for a better opening to approach her, I feel like she might have responded better. So what do you say seddit? Do you approach immediately or wait to try and make your approach look more natural?

How is done? You grab her hair at the NAPE OF THE NECK. That is a very important phrase. Feel your testosterone. But be subtle, very sensitive. If you grab too large a hunk of hair, it will be coming from all over her head. That doesn't feel so good, and it may actually hurt her neck for you to pull it down. This is the main secret. Be very aware of where each strand of hair is coming from. If it is coming from the sides, the top, even close to either, start over. Obviously, don't' do this at al…

I've always found it hard to know where to draw the line. We're also told at the same time to go in the center of social interactions and approach women who were paying us no attention. I'm guessing it's that it's good to approach at first but then only respond when she gives you attention after that.

I recently just broke up with my girlfriend and I feel like my confidence has taken a hit. Because I had no problem getting girls when I had a confidant relaxed frame, I'd agree that it's almost completely about having good socials skills and a good approach rather than looks. Though recently I've been finding it a lot harder to walk up to girls I know and have the same skill with women that I had before I broke up.

I would argue that the story of the movie is based on real life and that the the actor's portrayal of the character is based on his or her knowledge of the real world. It has also been proven that humans learn extensively though example by others. I would agree with you completely that most of the male protagonists who get the girl are terrible role models, but then there are also good ones. It's nice to hear a different opinion though. It's interesting you think that there is nothing to learn f…

That's some solid advice. Right now, I'm in feeling like shit because me and my girlfriend might break up. I decided that I should tell her I've been interested in other women recently, because I believe in honesty. We're in a long distance relationship for the next 3 months she said that she can't trust me and that she thought our relationship was more than it was. I don't think anyone on reddit can make this decision for me. But, do you think I can work on my game and maintain a long distance …

You have a point and in an ideal world much of these wouldn't exist, but gender stereotypes are a two way street. I still think men have the upper hand in society personally. The only male stereotype that makes my blood boil is that a man playing with a child make him a pedophile, not sure of any others that I can't shrug off.

Agreed. Stay classy gents. Personally I don't have anything against women and even how men are portrayed in popular culture. It's the unevenness of certain laws that I think we should be focusing on. Probably the only thing we can realistically change as well.

Personally I think men still have the upper hand in many social situations. My main problem is courts having and enforcing biased laws. As for the claim that there are few to no institutions that look out for the favor of men, I would probably disagree with. However it is true that society finds these views less acceptable and transferable into law. But I believe that'll change. A movement for rights or a political movement often starts off with reasonable goals but moves more to extremism, but …

Can't it be both? Gender roles are created partially by biology and partially by society, one can be more of a factor depending on the gender role.

i feel as though i need to clarify. What i meant to say was that I feel extremely privileged to be human, to have rights, to live in such a privileged part of the world at such a privileged time. So our culture probably does not portray men accurately and im sure it could be better. What I was saying was that i think that this is so marginal we should appreciate what we have.
