Good on you mate. However, a bit of advice - it might be too late, but I recommend not getting a girlfriend until you're a superstar with women (or at least, as good as you want to be). I made that mistake, and I'm now kinda having to restart.

I'm only a week into seddit and I love it here. Every day I read the stories to get ideas, but then I also practice. As it's said you can read all day long but if you don't do anything, what is all that reading good for?

Just the other day a pretty married woman (HB8) was at a soda machine. She works in the same hallway as me and recently had a baby (4 months ago). I was walking towards her, and she turned after getting her soda and was walking towards me. Before I found seddit, I probably would have done the "Hey, how are you? Have a nice day" bullshit like I used to do and just keep on walking.

But as she got closer I smiled this big smile and stopped. She stopped. I said "You just had a baby recently right?" She looked at me kind of puzzled (because I knew this already) but replied with a "Yes...." I responded with "It really doesn't look like you did." She got this big smile on her face, giggled, and said "Oh, you're so sweet." I told her to have a great day, smiled and walked away.

I never would have done that before last week. So I would also like to pile on your thanks and thank seddit as well. We're on our way to becoming better human beings, one of the many reasons I've embarked on this journey.

I also absolutely love the transition the pick-up community has made from being almost totally canned routine-based game to inner-game and overall sell-improvement.

Such a help with life overall, not just women. It's amazing stuff.

Since I've joined, surfed and read/watched/heard some of the material that was recommended on here, I feel much better about myself, and I feel that I have "inner game" that I never had before.

I posted on here, and through receiving good and bad responses, I took everything in and am slowly learning, bearing in mind I was useless with women before.

I am now talking to 3 or 4 women every night whether through facebook/skype/dating sites or texting. And while out I can attract at least one girl and get their contact details.

Little hint, keep setting yourself mini missions. Example, my current mission is to keep getting at least one number/facebook name every night out, however my next mission will be to get at least one k close, because I've been successful with the last mission a few times now :)

Seddit is one of the few subreddits I legitimately enjoy the circlejerk on, because it's so positive and upbeat. We're all guys just trying to improve. We'll have little and big successes. There's moments of weakness but we all help each other out. It's amazing what it helps do for people and I know I personally love the person I've become since stumbling into this community.

Congratulations on your girlfriend dude. I hope for the best for you two!
