This is no surprise, it's what Feminism is and has always been, the abuse of gynocentricity. Chivalry on steroids, if you like. Gimme gimme gimme.

"We will not sexualize anybody" She says, wearing sharp lipstick, eyeliner, mascara and various other facepaint, earrings, and hair coiffed to perfection. The lack of self awareness and denial of biology by feminists is beyond belief. An ideology that is a contradiction in terms and behaviors at every step.

Apparently this kind of stuff is a huge issue in India. Women have gained more and more university places instead of men, but a very large number do not go on to use their degree. It's like a vanity thing. Meanwhile, the unlucky guys who couldn't get a place are stuck at the wrong end of hypergamy. So more and more young Indian men are finding it more and more difficult to get a 1) place 2) job 3) good job 4) woman interested in marrying him. When you expect party A to be the provider, but take …

The impression I'm getting is that it's legal for an older boy to have sex with a younger gf, until he reaches a certain age at which point it's illegal, until she reaches a certain age at which point it becomes legal again. Also, no idea if the laws are gender neutral.

Most have already been stated, so I'm just tagging on some outliers... The Empress is Naked - Adam Leonas: female privilege, gender relations, feminism, mens lives... The Fraud of Feminism - Ernest Belfort Bax: the same things were being said about feminism and mens place/rights a century ago! Quite chauvinistic in places, but scarily prescient and relevant overall. Everything by Erin Pizzey to get a feel for the roots and growth of the domestic violence industry and the underlying issues.

It looks like any other vaguely inactivist group, but a closed forum. I very much doubt they have any more influence total than e.g. the AMR subreddit, or a random petition circulating on Facebook. One thing I do love whenever a member of an 'oppressed group' is fucked over by a member of another 'oppressed group', especially in a hot topic like abuse/rape, is the either silence or the cogs clicking over trying to figure out which side to take, whether it's ok to lambast this woman, how to best sweep another false allegation under the carpet, do I want to be a DV/rape apologist or a race hater? Are there legitimate differences between men and women or not? I'll be much more to the point than the other responses - biology exists. Gender roles didn't spring out of nowhere. What roles should they play? The ones they are best suited to, primarily, but with everyone having the same equality of opportunity as much as feasibly possible. Welcome to the sub.

Amazing how often it ends up with guys once again having to take on even more responsibility, by vasectomising themselves. I'm assuming at the point of puberty? Why are you not placing the same burden on women to have a hysterectomy? I see their responsibility as equal. You clearly don't see the responsibility as equal nor that the choices should be more equal. Men have zero options past the point of conception, period. Women have many, period. I cant imagine a man not taking the option of LPS if it were on the table Brutes it is! Can you imagine women not taking the option of abortion, adoption, safe haven laws? This will turn society into a ghetto, where fathers are on the periphreal, in and out of the child's life. They can easily re-enter any time they want, but society will never hold them financially responsible. It's not a society I want. Just as well LPS means you're out, for good. And we're back to square one - men are always 100% not in control of being 'on or off the hook'. Women are always 100% in control of whether or not they and the man are 'on the hook'. Under no definition of the word 'fair' is this reasonable. If your main issue is social welfare for single mothers when fathers are not in the picture then that's a separate topic.

LPS swings the pendulum too far. LPS would swing the pendulum towards the middle but still leaves women with more options and still the final say on the child entering the world. ..and men wont have to think at all... Men would then have no responsibility. No, men, like women have had for a long time, would finally have the option of choosing a certain level of responsibility or not. Unless you think men are all by nature responsibility-shirking brutes who don't want anything to do with children…

Feminists - realising that men being the good natured, generous, selfless beings that they are, who can be bent to the will of women or to protect/provide for women - have basically run on abusing this good nature and bending to greater and greater extents. As men and many women are now waking up to this, ramping up masculinity bashing is the latest sortie of a flailing ideology to retain some relevance and control of the narrative. It's useful as a shame tactic intent on controlling others (men…

Joke, shamelessly stolen from the comments: The Dean of a college gathers the chairs of the physics, chemistry and biology departments into his office. “Why,” he asks, “do your departments need so much money for equipment and so much space for labs? Why can’t you be more like the math department? All they need is pencils, paper and garbage cans. “Or better yet the women’s studies department? All they need is pencils and paper.”

I'm not sure how else to explain it other than that services/assistance available to women do not amount to 77 times more in terms of funding compare to what men have access to. The values of A, B and C could well be $100, $0.077 and 0.001, meaning women have access to $100.077 worth, and men $100.001 worth. I've no idea what the actual figures are, do you? My point is the 77 to 1 figures are seemingly correct for gender-based funding (which should absolutely be challenged), but misleading for t…

Good on Auburn, however... I really do not like how this kind of thing has been lumped in with domestic violence. It's controlling behavior, not violence. Reading someone's emails against their will is not even vaguely comparable to being battered twice a week.

Feminism has a stranglehold on discussion around gender issues, including rights. Exposing Feminism for the lunatic ideology that it is is an important part of raising awareness to help break that stranglehold, in turn helping awareness towards boys and men's rights. I've seen this done in other studies, where I can't imagine they've not also had the numbers by sex on hand, but they slice the data in many other ways (e.g. race, income, age). Hiding male victims/female perpetrators in DV stats is the obvious one where the numbers are removed for narrative reasons, peer pressure, etc. See Murray Strauss and Don Dutton for two who came out and said they bowed to academic peer pressure (i.e. from feminist ideologues) and removed such numbers from their DV public…

Chauvinism... sexism... misogyny... On the face of it, if true this is a damning indictment of feminism; if the end result of 40 years of activism is shifting the culture from a preference for men to HATRED of women. Hahaha, brilliant.

I've several women friends in their mid 30s who go the whole nine yards on 'If you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best', 'Where are all the good men?', 'Men are children', etc. Girls, you've missed that first class train carriage, those men are already taken, generally by women who aren't narcissists or 50-100lb overweight. It matters, sorry. Lower your ridiculous expectations and take a look in the mirror.

If only 1 in 10 rapes go reported then that means ~225 women who'd usually report didn't report. Any statisticians here able to find the probability of this happening at Long Beach. Then extrapolate across the 1300 of 2200 colleges? EDIT: I suppose a fairer starting question is how often in 2200 colleges you'd expect to find zero reports if 1 in 10 is the given reporting rate and 1 in 4 per college life (3 years? 4 years?), then compare to the actual 1300 stating zero reports.

Did anyone actually visit their site before upvoting? Here's and example of their recommended reading: http://archive.is/oMgAr The parent organisation defines abuse as men against women, and states various other feminist memes. They then state it's gender neutral, but only a miniscule number of perps are women. Then it lists lots of stats showing men are victims a lot of the time. Most family women I know have no idea about the feminist narrative beyond women's rights. Most of them love and appreciate the men for the hard work they do to support their family and the men love and appreciate them kind. Most of them have back-and-forth mini-debates about their respective roles, as with any fucking relationship, but at the end they laugh and hug and get the fuck on with things. Agree with most of what you say, but in this case the woman was unconscious and couldn't be wakened for a few hours after. He ran away when challenged. If he's innocent then he's been exceptionally unlucky with the available evidence, little of which can be used to exonerate him.

Yes, some would argue it's being manufactured on purpose. 2nd wave feminism and its radical element's goal of the destruction of marriage / empowerment of women to not need men (fish, bicycle, etc) certainly has played its part, whatever your views on marriage.

I also wonder if men are biologically more prone to have facial hair. Then you'd have men punished for a biological difference they couldn't control. I think it's a reasonable point, though dress codes with gender-specific things aren't necessarily bad, just different. On the other hand, i can imagine the fallout if girls were required to shave their legs, or as you say be facially clean shaven.

Sad state of affairs when women can wield power over men in this way so easily that the man is destroyed and women who actually need help are seen as more suspicious, possibly such as Heard. I'm absolutely delighted and have commented to the effect elsewhere. I found the 'mind-blowing' idea of equal treatment a testament to what feminism is and why we must fight and expose it. The attempt to claim this as a victory for feminist policy rather than basic human empathy is also bizarre.

I had the benefit of having taking some courses on feminist theory prior to being exposed to MRA ideology, so I never became anti-feminist. Bit of a non-sequitur there. Many of us non-feminists here have studied or read extensively on feminism and come to wholly different conclusions. The 'two side of the same coin' stuff is a tired cliche by feminists like yourself trying to retain some semblance of relevance for feminism, which has nothing to do with equality.

Is there any good study done to determine how many claims are false? No, there isn't. Number of proven rapes = x% Number of proven false allegations = y% Unknown z = 100-x-y% Both x and y are quite small numbers, so z is a large percentage. Which of these in z are actual rapes and which are false allegations is open to speculation, but only that. Having said that, I'd take the favorite feminist figure of 2% with a huge pinch of salt.

I don't agree with this at all. Shouldn't be fired as long as it's not interfering with her job, which as a receptionist it shouldn't. This is absolute small fry stuff compared to the feminists that get into positions of power and institutionally discriminate against men and boys.

What I'm most surprised about is that some people expect the natural way of things to suddenly end at the front door of a workplace, where everyone becomes a genderless automaton with no desires or character. People are going to fuck for fun and for gain.

It's always easy to spot a social science paper with some agenda with a quick read of the presence of adjectives, value judgements, and dogmatic language presented right up front in the abstract. It's not just hardcore pro feminism, it is a stated feminist sub. It might as well be called /r/Feminism2. It's a feminist trojan horse desperately attempting to control the men's rights narrative. It's ideology-based using an ideology utterly infested with lies, misrepresentation, pseudoscience, underpinned by belief that men are oppressors and women are victims. It's a cult. Steer well clear.
/r/MensRights11/04/16 05:00 AM

Males look at females as potential mating partners. They look for attraction and fertility. It’s not sexism and it’s not discrimination... Actually, it's exactly discrimination in the general sense of the word - discriminate by attraction/fertility. It's not that hard to make a group look like they were/are oppressed, you just have to limit the discussion to their problems and hardships, plus if anything specific can be interpreted in more than one ways you have to stick to the worst interpretation for that group. Sexist garbage. There's no good reason to move women before men, unless there's a child accompanying a mother/female relative but no father/male relative. Solo women or women together can get in line with men.

I thought I had every reason to be a feminist: I am a woman, I was raped, I never thought I had enough, I thought my life was trash. When the truth is, feminism was telling me my whole life my life was shit, but in reality, my life is much much better than both my brothers who were treated different than me, and pretty much most men in the US. Please now go and spread the word to your fellow middle-class women friends who are utterly convinced that there is a 'war' being waged against them by me…
/r/MensRights01/03/16 03:51 PM

When we hear stories that largely come down to "he said, she said" accounts, we should not be quickly to judge either side. That's pretty much the sub's and the MRM's take in general, that the man should be given a hearing where usually he's hung out to dry by force of accusation, the woman automatically believed. Can you feminists ever, ever, ever stop lying?
/r/MensRights28/02/16 04:57 PM

The canned drivel in those responses, Jesus fuck. I remember a time when I dreamed of working on the west coast, what a dodged bullet that was.

You need to check the dictionary for the meanings of 'proposition', and also understand that it also exists outwith your experiences.

/r/MensRights23/02/16 04:56 PM

Feminists are even allowing the likes of the subreddit menslib to exist in peace. I'm going to call you out every time you intentionally misrepresent that sub. It is a Feminism sub. It 'allows' it to exist because it is controlled, censored and conversationally led by feminists through the feminist lens.
/r/MensRights23/02/16 06:36 AM
5

Edit: to clarify, an older man propositioning a subordinate is awful, regardless of the subordinate's gender. Lol, it is? Why is that? At what age difference does it become acceptable? At what level difference does it become acceptable? What about an older woman propositioning a younger subordinate, regardless of their gender?

/r/MensRights19/02/16 02:25 AM

It was a joke gift, settle down chaps. Whether the law would've seen it that way were the roles reversed is though a fair question.

I've been on this earth for a long time now. I've traveled and lived in many, many different places and cultures. I'm still waiting to witness I've still yet to witness a man hitting or physically abusing a woman. I've seen the opposite so many fucking times, usually without repercussions.
/r/MensRights19/02/16 01:23 AM

I admire your openness, but you're showing naivety if you think this is not yet another attempt by feminism to coopt something unrelated (lgbt, race, humanism, atheism, gaming, coding, STEM, etc etc etc) that they don't have control of in terms of narrative. Careful.
/r/MensRights17/02/16 06:09 AM

Hi, the subject us a deep a quite complex one to get a firm grip on, with lots of historical context. It could take you months to get a basic grip, and years of digging to really understand what's going on. Anyway, to get you started on the main men's rights topics, check the Frequently Asked Questions link in the sidebar. Opposition to feminism is threaded throughout, though perhaps not immediately apparent. Good luck, let us know how you get on.

You are woefully misinformed if you think feminism doesn't have very, very dirty hands in this business of deception. Read step two again, that's what happens BEFORE it even gets to the stage of tumblrinas. Also, this scenario doesn't even start to include the mass of ideological garbage churned out by gender studies departments, that's a whole different step one completely.

You're missing the point completely, namely step 2 below. Step 1. Publish report Step 2. Feminist advocacy (academia, media, advocate groups, women's groups, etc etc) wilfully misinterpret the report and fabricate stats and false narratives from it. Step 3. Your average person reading the headline or the media / press releases from the advocacy group believe the stat/narrative without question. Kinda sympathise - half the time we're pointing out that less strict treatment should be applied, the other half we're pointing out double standards. They both have their place. I think overall we'd much, much, much prefer saner treatment all round. While feminism in action doesn't do that, it's understandable to point out when standards are not being applied fairly, and ask that they are.

Before more in-depth comments come on, I just want to say thanks for sharing your story and subsequent journey. The empathy gap is not lost on anyone here, and it's probably the most difficult thing to get people to 1) see, 2) give a damn about. Even with e.g. feminists who accept bad shit happens to boys and men too, in many cases far worse, it's STILL half impossible to get them to translate this to 1) actual empathy for boys and men, 2) renouncing the overarching idea of 'women oppressed!' It becomes harder and harder to not conclude that a core tenant of the SJW and ideological feminist stand is simply white, male hate, however they rationalise. Imagine this were e.g. white Yugoslavs escaping the 90s war, getting refugee status, then being involved in what has been reported from Germany. Feminists and SJWs would be apoplectic.

Cancer is never not a big deal. Sure, bigger fuss could be made about other specific cancers, and breast cancer gets the overwhelming amount of cancer-specific attention.

Because calling for men's rights is obviously trolling, rabble rousing, joking.

Can you expand on the anti-fascist angle?

Female on male proxy violence at its best, both in action and in not being seen as responsible. Hope the old guy gets better.

It's true, though, that's the image it has to the general public.

The short answer is we don't know and can't know the real number, whether 2%, 10%, 40% or whatever. I'm sure someone here can supply you with the arguments/evidence for and against all the numbers. Also try the search bar.

Interesting. Can you do this for all the available data so that we have the full picture? Are we talking about a significant acceptance rate difference across the board, and on average?

I'm a woman - not sure if I'm allowed to reply here. Lol, what? Assuming you're a new visitor here, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you've been fed nothing but negativity and misinformation about the MRM. Many of the most prominent voices in the movement or related to the movement (such as anti- ideological feminism) are women, and they are celebrated here. Read up on / watch videos from Erin Pizzey, Karen Straughan, Anne Couls, Janice Fiamengo, Christina Hoff Summers, Janet Bloomfie…

That's only half the story. Many who won't pay (and even many of those who do) will have very good reasons why they shouldn't.

Wonder what skeletons this fucker has in the closet. Would be a shame if they were uncovered and published.
