Ok, I agree to an extent, but Gavin is way too often too loony. I have never beaten the shit out of nor have I ever had the shit beaten out of me. Growing up I was a big kid and was laid back. No one tried to fight me because of my size and I never fought anyone because I'm not an ass hole. I am disqualified from being a man then? Ignorance. His sentiments put men back 100 years and back on to the ship of the Titanic last because men are the "tough" ones. Feminism isn't good for men, but perpetuating the idea that men are meant to be these basic animalistic beasts is what puts us as men back into the stereotypes we don't want either. His sentiments are just as damaging to men as the feminists. I can't not want to fight someone and be a man at the same time? I get that he is simply making a colloquialism, but the statements are still damaging.

Gavin is brilliant.

I don't always agree with everything he says, but practically speaking, he's right, and that commercial was awful.

It's funny to watch Gavin McInnes tear down the feminists narrative, which, frankly, is no better than the paleoconservative one, despite being absurdly long in the making.

A healthy pro-male narrative for a commercial would have a bunch of guys getting off a sinking ship first, refusing to die in a fire to try to save a woman about to be enveloped in flames, refusing to lift a heavy bag full of useless shit for a female, doing something he enjoys instead of watching over a female's runts that aren't his just so she can spend 2 hours getting her hair colored, or refusing to get his gorgeous face slashed by a knife-wielding mugger just to prevent a female's $300 purse from being snatched. (Because who gives a shit? It's just a bag.)

How about a guy who hears something go "bump" in the night, then pushes the female lying next to him out of bed and whispers, "Go check it out. No, I'm not going. I might get stabbed. No, no one would ever stab a woman -- you go." A guy who gets the restaurant bill on a date, glances at it, and exclaims, "Are you kidding? I'm not going to pay for this crap! I don't even know huitlacoche is!"

You know, strong empowering messages for men -- spare the limp-wristed gynosycophant neochivalrist bullcrap.

A new ad campaign from feminists: "They're strong women. Stop treating them special and let them fend for themselves!"

Something you will never see in a commercial coming from feminists.

That HuffPo video was surely done by anti-feminists as satire.

I cannot believe they are so deluded as to think this would convince any non-feminist man that he needs feminism. Fucking hell.
